On January 24, 2025, officers with the Fountain Valley Police Department responded to reports of a disturbed man trying to open a woman’s car door near a middle school. The man, later identified as 26-year-old Osean McClintock, reportedly appeared erratic and agitated. When officers arrived, McClintock refused commands and ran, prompting a brief foot pursuit. Moments later, bodycam video shows McClintock confronting a female officer in her patrol car — grabbing her service weapon and violently pulling it from her hands. Despite repeated commands to drop the gun, McClintock ignored all orders, entered the officer’s patrol vehicle, and shut the door. Seconds later, an officer-involved shooting occurred. Officers immediately rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived, but McClintock was later pronounced deceased at the scene. No officers were injured. 🚔 Full footage: Watch how fast this encounter escalated from a routine call to a fatal confrontation. 💬 What are your thoughts on the officer’s response? Comment below.
