Police Report: On 12/31/2022 at about 10:31am I was dispatched to the Gardens Mall at 3101 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in reference to trespass. While enroute, I was advised that a female subject named Florence was in the mall and had been issued trespass warnings in the past. Upon arrival, I observed her walking from the area of the Victoria's secret store. She was yelling at security and patrons. I recognized her from a trespass that was issued on 12/23/2022. I was also advised that she was issued a trespass warning on 12/03/2022. The female was identified as Florence Djan. Djan was advised that she was under arrest for trespass after warning and placed into wrist restraints. The restraints were double locked and checked for fit. Djan was very aggressive and belligerent. She was searched by Sergeant O'Brien. She was transported to the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department where she was processed and then transported to the Palm Beach County Jail. My BWC was active. Based on my observations and investigation, I believe Florence Djan did unlawfully and willfully, refuse to depart from any structure or conveyance, the property of the Gardens Mall, after being warned to depart by the owner, lessee, or person authorized by the owner or lessee, contrary to Florida Statute 810.08.
