#CrimeCamNow On December 21, 2024, DPS Trooper Brody Telfer was on routine patrol in Bell County, Texas, when dispatch alerted him to a reckless driver possibly under the influence heading his way. Temple PD had already attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to yield. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a black Dodge Ram pickup with front-end damage, as if it had already been in a crash. Moments later, the truck passed the trooper with the driver’s side window down. The male driver, the only occupant, was leaning heavily on the steering wheel and weaving across lanes—signs of possible intoxication matching the earlier reports from concerned callers.
