buymeacoffee.com/BlueLineLens On November 11, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Police Officers Marvin DeJesus and Keven De La Cruz responded to the 600 block of Sixth Street on reports of a fight. When they arrived, officers saw a man, later identified as 29-year-old male of Jersey City, trying to kick in the door of an apartment on the sixth floor. Sgt. John Quinones arrived on the scene to assist. Womack began pacing the hallway, yelling that he needed his things from inside the apartment. A woman, later identified as 34-year-old female of Hoboken, was also in the hallway and ignored officers request for information and began to interfere with the investigation. Womack ignored commands to stop moving and he tried to get inside the unit. At one point he attempted to move officers out of his way, which is when he was advised he was going to be placed under arrest. He resisted by tensing up his arms to keep from being handcuffed. During his arrest, she yelled profanities at officers who told her multiple times to move back and stop interfering. She was placed under arrest and attempted to resist. An on-scene investigation revealed Womack and Kelly argued with and got aggressive with other people on the scene. A harassment complaint was filed against them. The two were transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, where it was discovered they each had outstanding warrants from Hoboken and Jersey City. They were charged with obstructing the administration of the law and resisting arrest. Kelly and Womack were transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
