While stopped at the intersection of Chenal Pkwy and Wellington Hills Rd I observed a silver passenger car run a red light at a high rate of speed. I initiated my lights and sires in an attempt to stop the vehicle. I caught up to the vehicle near Chenal Parkway and Kirk Road where I observed the brake lights briefly come on. The driver then decided to flee. The vehicle continued to flee at speeds over 100 miles per hour, running multiple red lights and weaving through traffic. As I came closer to the vehicle, it began to slow near Chenal Parkway and Chenal Valley Driver. The driver decided to stop in the middle of the road and surrender. I placed the driver and front seat passenger into custody. An inventory of the vehicle and contents on the driver resulted in multiple bags of mushrooms, small and large plastic bags with marijuana residue in them, scales, lighters and other drug paraphernalia. The front passenger was discovered to be a juvenile and younger cousin of the driver. Both occupants of the vehicle stated they saw me behind them once they had ran the second red light and decided to flee, believing they were close enough to home and could escape.
