“She Hit Me First!” - Sister Attacks Family… Then Turns on Police A domestic violence call involving two sisters quickly turned into a chaotic police arrest when one woman was accused of attacking her own sister, and then physically resisting officers. Police were called after a family fight that allegedly left one sister with visible bruises, scratches, and injuries. She told officers that her sister had attacked her inside the home and showed them photos of her injuries and the damage left behind. But when police confronted the accused sister, she told a very different story. “She hit me first!” She insisted that both sisters had fought and repeatedly argued that she was the victim. But when officers told her she was being detained, the situation suddenly escalated. She refused to cooperate with the arrest, pulled away from officers, and physically struggled as police attempted to put her in handcuffs. Officers repeatedly ordered her to cooperate before the confrontation turned into a full-blown resisting arrest situation. Then she made another serious accusation. After being taken into custody, she claimed police had roughed her up, injured her knee, and that one officer had put his hand around her neck. A sergeant was brought in to conduct an investigation into the force used during the arrest. Meanwhile, a witness gave officers his account of what he saw during part of the struggle.
