Sparkles had an active warrant. Officers knocked on the rear door and had contact with two females who stated Sparkles was not inside. When officers called them out on providing false information, they stated they would bring her to the door. Sparkles came to the door. She was placed into handcuffs and placed in the back of my patrol car. Upon searching her backpack before transporting her, officer located multiple credit and debit cards with someone else's name on it. officers asked her about them and she stated her brother gave them to her and told her to hold onto them but she would not advise his name. Officers served a search warrant at the apartment in reference to f****nyl. Officers located multiple drug-related objects consistent with the consumption of narcotics but it appeared all of the dr*gs were flushed down the toilet. Officers were told at a later time by one of the occupants that those dr*gs were indeed flushed prior to the search warrant. Inside the apartment were more credit cards, debit cards, and IDs with other people's names on them that were not residents or occupants of the apartment. There were also notebooks that had those same individuals' bank information in them. Those items were consistent with identity fraud so they were collected to be placed in evidence for detectives to investigate further.
