This video is for educational and informational purposes only. All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. What began as a report of a hazardous tractor-trailer on State Highway 18 quickly developed into an extremely dangerous encounter for an Arkansas State Trooper and approaching motorists. According to the official report, Trooper Chris Dunham was notified about a hazardous driver traveling near Monette. Approximately ten minutes later, Dunham located a gray 2025 Kenworth tractor pulling a white trailer near the Craighead and Mississippi County lines. As the trooper caught up, he reportedly observed the tractor-trailer struggling to maintain its lane. Dunham activated his emergency lights near Leachville, but instead of stopping, the semi continued and began increasing its speed. Approximately 50 seconds after the attempted traffic stop began, the situation dramatically escalated. The report states that the Kenworth veered into the oncoming lanes and accelerated to approximately 80 MPH while traveling directly toward approaching traffic. At least one pickup driver was reportedly forced onto the shoulder to avoid a collision as the tractor-trailer continued down the highway. With an 80 MPH semi occupying the wrong side of the road and innocent motorists directly ahead, the situation became increasingly dangerous. Watch the full dashcam footage to see how the pursuit unfolds. 📌 INCIDENT DETAILS • Date: August 4, 2026 • Time: Approximately 7:54 PM • Initial Report: Hazardous Driver • Location: State Highway 18 • Area: Near Monette / Leachville • County: Mississippi County, Arkansas • Vehicle: 2025 Kenworth Tractor-Trailer • Tractor Color: Gray • Trailer Color: White • Primary Trooper: TRP Chris Dunham #171 • Agency: Arkansas State Police, Troop C • Initial Speed: Approximately 50 MPH • Speed After Emergency Lights: Approximately 62 MPH • Highest Reported Speed: Approximately 80 MPH • Driver's License Status: Valid • License Class: Class A • Endorsement: Tank Vehicle • Incident Type: Vehicle Pursuit ⚡ PURSUIT HIGHLIGHTS • ASP receives report of hazardous tractor-trailer • Trooper Dunham searches for the vehicle • Gray Kenworth located on State Highway 18 • Trooper observes difficulty maintaining lane • Emergency lights activated for traffic stop • Semi continues instead of stopping • Speed increases from approximately 50 to 62 MPH • Driver continues for approximately 50 seconds • Tractor-trailer suddenly enters oncoming lanes • Semi accelerates to approximately 80 MPH • Kenworth travels directly toward approaching traffic • Pickup truck forced onto shoulder • Driver narrowly avoids potential collision • Semi moves into center turn lane • Tractor-trailer returns to proper lanes • Trooper continues issuing commands • Driver initially remains inside the cab • Approximately 17 commands are given before driver exits ⚖️ OFFICIAL CHARGES The report lists the following charges: • Felony Fleeing • Reckless Driving • Obstructing Governmental Operations • DWI – First Offense • Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – CDL • Using a Commercial Vehicle in the Commission of a Felony • Speeding • Improper Lane Usage #arkansasstatepolice #policechase #semitruck
