She told officers the suspect was threatening to k*** her and was demanding she give him money. Jessica said she crossed Vine St and went into the upper parking lot at the block and Christopher intervened. She said Christopher began talking to him. She said she saw the suspect smash an alcohol bottle and continue coming towards them. She said the suspect followed them down to the lower parking lot on the block and was still yelling. Jessica said from there she was trying to get away and did not see what happened. She said all she knew is that when she looked at Christopher afterwards, he was cut in the face. Officers then walked over to Anthony, Jessica's boyfriend, and asked him what happened. The boyfriend said the suspect had been threatening Jessica for some time now and he saw Christopher intervene. He said the next thing he saw was the suspect cut Christopher with a blade. The boyfriend was upset at this point and said officers let the suspect walk by them and didn't stop him.
