YouTube Description Disclaimer: This content is for educational and informational purposes only. On February 13, 2025, at 3:20 PM, Arkansas State Police Trooper Keaton Ramsey attempted a traffic stop on a gray Nissan Altima traveling southbound on State Highway 27 and Liberty Road in Yell County, Arkansas. The driver, Armando Zamora, had expired tags and unconfirmed insurance. A records check showed his license was suspended and he had an active warrant from the Dardanelle Police Department. Trooper Ramsey recognized Zamora from a prior traffic stop in July 2024 for similar violations. Instead of stopping, Zamora continued driving at low speeds, signaling, yielding to traffic, and acting as if he wasn’t being pursued. After 1.6 miles, Troopers received authorization to perform a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI). At 43 MPH, Trooper Ramsey executed a TVI, spinning the vehicle around and pinning it against the roadside. Zamora refused to exit the vehicle, ignored commands, and attempted to reach toward the center console. A taser drive stun was administered, after which troopers physically removed him from the car and placed him in custody. Zamora was transported to Yell County Detention Center and charged with fleeing, resisting arrest, failure to register a vehicle, and no liability insurance.
