Bodycam footage from the Skokie Police Department in Illinois shows the chaotic arrest of a man, identified as Olondo, after his belligerent behavior toward hotel staff and police spun out of control. Officers were initially dispatched to a Hampton Inn hotel for a disturbance. Upon arrival, they were met by Olondo, who was immediately confrontational and began recording the officers with his phone while yelling. Hotel staff informed police they wanted the man removed from the property, but he refused to comply with officers' requests to gather his belongings and leave. The situation quickly escalated as Olondo became more agitated, verbally accosting officers and getting in their personal space. When he physically bumped an officer, they moved in to place him under arrest. Olondo attempted to flee down the hallway before being taken to the ground, where he continued to violently resist.
