On August 13, 2025, Martin County deputies launched a helicopter-assisted operation after receiving a tip about a group secretly dropped off by a U-Haul to illegally harvest saw palmetto berries on private farmland. Bodycam footage shows deputies tracking the suspects from the woods to a local hotel, where 11 people were detained after stealing more than 6,000 pounds of protected berries destined for the black market. Investigators later determined two U.S. citizens were involved and charged with grand theft and unlawful harvesting, while the remaining suspects were transferred to federal authorities for further proceedings. This video documents how a coordinated tip, aerial surveillance, and rapid enforcement shut down a large-scale agricultural theft ring in Florida. 👉 If you enjoy real police bodycam videos and true crime cases, LIKE this video and SUBSCRIBE for new videos every week.
