On April 26, 2025, Evergreen Park Police Officer Ratke observed a vehicle allegedly speeding. By the time he caught up with the vehicle, the 24-year-old driver had parked her car in front of her residence and was exiting the vehicle. Officer Ratke directed her to stop, but she continued towards her house. A male passenger then exited the vehicle and followed the woman inside the house. After discovering what appeared to be a handgun in the vehicle, officers made contact with the woman's mother, who answered the front door. She allowed officers inside the house, where they found the male passenger hiding in a bedroom. Both individuals were placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle also uncovered a large amount of cannabis. The woman's charges are listed at the end of the video. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
