Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: On January 1, 2023, at about 7:15 AM, Red Bank Police received a report of a crash at Newman Springs Road and Hance Avenue. Patrolman Ashon Lovick arrived to find a Honda sedan against a traffic light pole. The car's airbags had deployed. He questioned the driver, 18-year-old Diana Olivares, about the crash and where she had been. EMS checked her at the scene, but she declined more treatment and refused transport to the hospital. Olivares told Lovick she had come from Freehold and admitted drinking earlier. He asked her to perform field sobriety tests. During the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test, she followed a moving object with her eyes. She then tried the Walk and Turn but had trouble staying on a straight path. During the One Leg Stand, she struggled to count properly and maintain her balance. Lovick arrested Olivares for driving under the influence based on her admission, the crash, and her poor test results. At the Red Bank Police Department, she was offered a breath test. It showed a blood alcohol level of 0.042%, above the legal limit for a driver under 21. After processing, she was released to a friend, who signed a liability warning.
