#news #police #arrest #cops Report: On 08/11/2022, While patrolling Downtown area in my marked patrol vehicle Officer noticed a blue vehicle license plate traveling east on West Clayton St. and abruptly changed lanes. Officer followed from vehicle from West Clayton St. onto N. Lumpkin St. and the vehicle changed lanes once more crossing in front of another vehicle traveling North on Lumpkin St. from a right only turning lane onto Washington St. to continue straight on N. Lumpkin St. causing the other vehicle to quickly move other to avoid an accident. The blue vehicle license plate turned right onto Droughty St traveling East. I activated my blue lights and siren and vehicle continued East. At the intersection of N. Thomas St. and Droughty St. the vehicle turned left onto North Ave. The vehicle traveled North on North Ave and struck the passenger side tire on the curb twice before entering a curve. The vehicle turned right onto Willow St. finally coming to a rest on Willow St. While talking with driver Officer noticed she had water eyes. I also notice a very strong odor of perfume. Driver was identified as Tricia Batal. Officer asked Batal where she was coming from and she stated from work where she is a bouncer, barback. Officer asked Batal to exit the vehicle and when exiting her vehicle, Officer noticed Batal was off balance swaying as she walked to the back of the vehicle. Officer asked Batal if she had anything to drink and she stated no she was a security. Tricia agreed to conduct a state chemical test of her breath.
