On June 24th, 2024, the Clearwater Police Department was called to the scene at the local JCPenney for reports of a potential theft at the location. At the 9 mm they went upstairs off cuz most of this was I'll take pretty much all this was selected downstairs. They went onto the elevator and when they came off noticeable amount was missing from there, but I didn't I hadn't see it. So, I had just kept watching them and then they went upstairs. The girl took more hangers off, hid them over in our like our activewear. They went into our fitting room and in the same stall. They The girl admitted to helping her. So, I don't know why she was all extra about it. They came out only had a couple items in the cart. They ditched the cart upstairs. I had the attendant who was checking the fitting room check the fitting room and she found the packages for the bows, but nothing else. Nothing else in the whole fitting room was clear. Not even tickets on the floor. And I And I noticed the The was It it flat when that she came in, but when she came out it looked like she had a volleyball hiding in it. I'm sorry. Stopped them outside. Cooperated, came back in, and they gave me no indication this was going to happen.
