ESPN. I'm an agent of the US Supreme Court. >> Does your superior know that you have a warrant? That looks fake. You're a sovereign citizen. >> He was trying to intimidate us, saying that he was some sort of law enforcement. Welcome back to the Vanalian channel, guys. Today we head to Illinois, courtesy of Midwest Patrol, where a sovereign citizen tries to outsmart and intimidate Grundy County deputies by claiming to work for the Supreme Court, but gets arrested for impersonating a peace officer instead. Right, let's get into the video. >> Hello. How we doing, Deputy Post Winston? How we doing? >> Doing well. How are you, sir? >> I'm all right. My name is Deputy Post. Just a couple things. You're going a little faster. Anyone by me? Nothing crazy. My doctor's your tin. Do you know, >> sir? One second there. Do you have any identifications here? >> Do I have any identification? >> Yeah. >> For your police officers, right? >> Correct. >> 725 LCS section like the identifier. So, I see you have your badge and everything there. >> You also have to identify yourself. >> I am. I I have >> you see that I work for the county insurance department. >> Yeah. Just do what I personally. >> Okay. >> I will bring you my work ID. Okay. >> I'm so excited until you do that. >> The projection is incredible. You could be impersonating a police officer, he says, which is kind of ironic coming from the guy who actually ends the day getting arrested for impersonating a police officer. >> I listen, I'm not doing this with you, man. Okay? I'm identifying with you. You stop me for a legal tent. I haven't broken any laws. >> That's That is a law, sir. >> That That's a citation law. >> Okay. >> That's a citation. >> Okay. >> So, you also need to based on the police officer. >> Mhm. >> And I'm identified. Okay. [clears throat] I have a name tag on. You can see I work for the Granny County Sheriff's Department. I'm in a uniform. Okay. >> G39 and G10. Can you uh 25? >> So, you see my ID here, sir? I see it. >> Okay. >> Do you have your uh insurance card for your car? >> Traffic staff, sir. What you say? >> Yes, sir. >> Cars have to be It's a very common You have to have insurance on your car. Okay. So, for the vehicles going down the road, they have to have insurance on the vehicle. >> I'm going to wait for another police officer here to get here. He's going to stand here. I'll go get you my work ID so you can see it. Okay. >> 1415 is delayed right now for Lieutenant Wind by County Sheriff Grande County offer some post. >> Yes, sir. G39. So instead of producing his license, registration, and insurance, he's talking into a radio like a cop communicating with dispatch, who I'm willing to bet is either his mother, his nan, or if my theory is correct, a blast from the past. But more on that in a minute. >> You would like to see my work ID to identify myself? >> I don't cuz it's part of some law that he recited and that he's in the middle of work. just a piece of chest. That means >> So, I'm going to go get him my work ID to show it to him to a piece of >> I haven't talked to him about any of that other stuff yet. >> He's like on the radio talking to somebody. >> Huh? >> I know. It's also his windows are t >> You have a ID? >> I don't have ID. was in Illinois. Not that kind of ID for like work. You would He told me it wasn't my pistol. >> I can't see it. >> Huh? >> No. No. Oh, no. See, that's a guy. Get on the You also have a warrant for arrest. Get out. I don't know. Confirm it. >> So that's why he tried to play the old uno reverse card with the ID. He's got a warrant because of course he has. >> Get out of the car >> or else you're going to catch some charges. >> I'm going There's no charges to catch. I will get out. I asked him to identify himself. >> Okay. >> It's not the game we're playing here >> right now. Okay. We'll get to that point, but right now you're in a traffic stop, so get out of the car. >> It's a traffic stop. >> Your picture of the ID doesn't help. Do you have Are you armed? >> Not only, sir. No. Step around. >> I'm not the >> I'm taking this out of your pocket. >> My weapon is behind the seat, sir. >> Stand over. Let's walk over here. >> You're on duty with who? >> ESPN. I'm an agent of the US. >> Stand over here. I'm Asia Kia. My pass number is P58396 with US Investigation Protection National Agent of the US Supreme Court in motion. Yes, we are working and I'm going to phone my superior agent Bar. >> Does your Does your superior know that you have a warrant? >> I don't have a warrant. >> Please let this so-called superior of his bear, i.e. Ronny Lee Davis from Bears Law and Forensic Science Team who coincidentally also claimed to be an agent of the Supreme Court in the form of a Supreme Court judge before going to jail for battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Of course, either that or there's a new bear in town. >> My superior does not know everything in the car. >> I just shared with you security. Are you getting this 214? >> Everything's been recorded. >> Yes, sir. >> So, they're over here. I have a warrant, which is not average. You and I know that. >> Ah, yes. The trust me, bro method. The instinctive go-to for every sovereign citizen. >> Did you miss a court date? >> Did you miss a court date? >> I didn't miss any court. >> Huh? >> I didn't miss any court days. >> At court. >> No, there's no >> Why do we make it up? >> I'm not saying that you guys are making it up. I'm not saying that. I'm just highlighting you guys that that's not >> our system, too. And I'm highlighting that your system isn't as let you know. That's going to let you know. >> Oh, your system is correct, says the guy who claims he works for an agency that if real would use the same system. How convenient. >> I told him to actually identify himself as well. This is quite a piece of trying to, you know, instruct you guys from doing your job. I'm also trying to do my job. Who are you with again? >> United States investment offices again. >> Thank you. My totally real ID card isn't on me right now, says the quote unquote law enforcement agent who claims law enforcement agents are required to produce physical ID cards. This stuff just writes itself at this point. >> Here's your department ID. I don't have that on right now. So that's why I sold it on the phone. That's why I sold it. Would you like to see on the phone? I have my badge. Thank you. >> No, your eyes did not deceive you just then. He did just produce a picture of a police badge on his phone that deputies later claim looks fake and he expects them to take it seriously. >> County, what do we have here? What's your officer? What's your name? >> Sergeant Cory. >> Sergeant Cory. >> Okay. You are say again. >> What is the department you work for? Sorry. Are you Are you a bounty hunter? >> No. I'm a future recovery agent. not a body hunter. Those are two different things. >> So folks that deal with bombsmen, they're body hunters. >> Gotcha. >> So we deal >> I'm just not familiar with I've never heard of it. >> I understand. Most people aren't. >> Yeah. >> Most people aren't. >> It's part of the It's like you fall under the state or the federal government. >> We're over We work directly in contract with the US Supreme Court. We're overall federal agencies. We're direct offices of the Supreme Court. >> Oh. >> So you guys like answer to the Supreme Court? >> That is correct. Answer to the justices. >> We got assignments. We got assignments with justice. We're also on task force with the FBI, Secret Service, and other folks. So, >> I'm guessing you guys do a lot of work with the Marshalss then, too, with the future stars. >> To the surprise of absolutely nobody, there is no Supreme Court agency called the United States Investigation and Protection National or a federal agency with the acronym USPN. So, at this point, all this video is really doing is providing evidence for why he should be charged with impersonating a peace officer. >> That's a Teltech shotgun, >> which is a cheap junk. >> Yeah. >> Springfield Armory, >> which nobody ever issues a Springfield. >> That looks fake. He showed me a picture of a badge that looks fake. >> It's just It's the FBI's top 10 most wanted list. >> Quick, somebody check this guy's basement for kidnap victims or for anyone with a passing resemblance to any of the suspects on the FBI's 10 most wanted list. I'm joking, of course. Or am I? >> He's impersonating a police officer. >> I'm not a I'm not impersonating anything. I'm an agent. US investigation detect an announcement. I'm not impersonating anything, sir. You never heard me say I was a police officer. You never heard me say that. That's not happen. I don't want your duty issued weapon. >> I am. >> Is it your duty issued weapon? >> Is it your duty issued weapon? >> I am not part of a law enforcement agency being a contract agency for the US Supreme Court. >> So, you go around and arrest people. We don't go along rushing. We have authority under Taylor versus Tampa to work on orders that are given to the dealership. So whenever we get assignments to go out and actually do our research and bring folks into into custo what we do bring people in custody when we're on duty. Yes. Right now I'm carrying out orders to actually go and see what's going on with a couple of those individuals in our miss. That description sounds suspiciously like stalking and kidnapping individuals directly from the streets. Especially considering you are neither a police officer nor a bounty hunter on the FBI's 10 correspondent list. >> Yes, we got some tips and I was asked by my superior who I've been communicating with to go and check it out. >> I know it may be fun to you but I hope it don't I really don't hope you I hope you understand what's happening. I really do. So my eyes are regardless of you guys are delaying me. You have a warrant. >> I keep telling you that warrant is not actual. I understand what you're saying. I'm not disputing what you're saying. I don't have a warrant. A body attachment is not a warrant. >> Understand what I'm saying. >> A body attachment is not a warrant. Listen. >> No. A body attachment is not a warrant, sir. And on top of that, that is an unlawful body attachment that is being built that you guys don't understand. >> It's not unlawful system. It's it's it's it's >> confirmed. >> It's quite amusing that you don't grasp the practical equivalence between a riflement and a criminal arrest warrant, especially considering you're claiming these officers don't understand it. >> I'm going to go look at her. just had a body of task for you. Did uh I was supposed to have one. Let's see. >> I think it's for contempt of tour. Okay. >> Just have those two firearms in the car. >> There's one more. >> It's in the armrest, sir. That's it. That's >> for contempt of court. Yeah. >> You said for contempt of court. >> Out of Cook County. Signed by who? It just says Cook County. >> We don't get the actual we don't get the actual document. So it just says on Cook County the actual documents says out of Cook County. >> So is there a warrant signed by a judge to have this incident or just >> We're we're confirming it right now >> cuz there's no judge that sign a warrant. >> Listen man, I can >> No, no, I know. But I'm just like, y'all, it's y'all delaying me in the midst of the work that I'm doing. >> Uh, Springfield Armory 9mm. Springfield Armory 9mm. >> Sir, you conduct an illegal search and Caesar my item, sir. >> For someone who claims to be an officer of the court, you're pretty clueless when it comes to your rights. The sergeant is performing what is called a search incident to arrest, which includes securing your firearms. It's also an indicator that you're going to jail on that warrant pretty soon. >> What's your What's your What's your captain now? Is that a sergeant? >> Yeah. >> What's your name? What's my last name? >> Black. >> Sergeant Black. Are you doing a legal search? >> No. >> No, I'm not. >> Yeah. >> Because anybody with a anybody with a concealed >> You don't You don't let me cuz you don't let me finish. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm I'm glad what's going on, sir. >> Anybody with a concealed carry for a minute, >> I could I could secure their weapons during our course of our business. And you have a warrant. >> What? I don't know. That's not There's a difference. That's what you guys have to understand. That's tradition. Warrant of a body attachment is not You don't get the free light to ride through my vehicle. Looks like we're going to have to get the closeup on. They don't have a warrant. They have a body attachment. Body attachment got a warrant. The fact that you keep trying to differentiate a body attachment and warrant in an attempt to influence the officer's decision when both can mean jail is hilarious. But in the meantime, Bonovan's allegiance will be leaving me searching through my vehicle. I'll get it later. We're going to get his name investigations and what? >> Underneath the Supreme Court. said that they answer directly to the Supreme Court. >> He answers directly to the Supreme Court >> and are given authority by the Supreme Court to go and authority Supreme Court to go up and follow up on leads for people who are fugitives. >> As soon as I walked up, he demanded my ID. He wanted my driver's license. >> That was like Tyler walked up to the car. He demanded his driver's license. >> So, I showed him my work ID. >> He demanded Tyler's driver's license. >> Yep. That sounds like a typical deflection. and intimidation tactic from a typical sovereign citizen, aware that they have an outstanding arrest warrant coupled with the obligatory delusions of grandeur. Of course, >> he has no credentials either, like just picture. >> Okay. Offic. >> Yeah, I'll get you on that side. No. >> What about you? >> You can write it down. >> What? My pens and my stuff. No. >> Well, every pen don't I don't write well with every pen. That's why certain pens that I write well with. That's why I turned it down. >> Sergeant, >> I don't want to hear um Ass. Hold on. Okay. >> Listen, we're going to wait to hear back from Cook County and then we'll go from there. Okay. We're waiting to hear back from Cook County and then we'll go from there. >> All right. You got to wait. >> Yeah. So, let's fast forward a minute or so to where he gets into another back and forth with one of the officers and continues to claim he isn't law enforcement when all the evidence appears to suggest otherwise. >> What is this? >> I don't know. He went up there and demanded my ID to my ID. He got >> I ran the tag and I was like then I ran in and he had a warrant. How's all that? He's got dark windows. He's got 5%. >> Yeah, >> he's got a K tell Keltech shotgun and two Springfield is here. You don't mind me asking? >> Why? >> Because the same way you doing your due diligence. We got to do our >> I don't even know if you're a real police officer. >> I didn't say I was a police officer. Ask and say I was a police officer. >> You showed me a badge and an ID. >> I showed you my agency identification 12. I've never ever once said we record that but I'm a police officer. >> No, I've never said that to you. Never said that. This is a little bit frustrating for you because you know it sounds like it's frustrating for you. >> I don't have the warrant. >> I'm being delayed and I don't have a warrant without a warrant. Sir, >> you have a body attachment require us constantly to take you to the jail. No, >> there is. It's not the same thing. And that's why I was trying to share with you that the test. >> The deputy asks again for the name of the agency he claims to work for, but it quickly becomes apparent that this so-called agency is about as real as Thomas Humphrey's National Action Task Force. This leads to the deputy hilariously calling him out for the sovereign citizen he is. >> What office do you work for? US investigations and protection nationals. >> Agent Kia. >> US Investigations and what? >> US investigations. Yes. >> And Protection Nationals >> and Protection Nationals. FBI has got no record of them. >> Yeah. National. No. No. That's bad number. Batch number 305 8396. Asian Kia. >> Who's your boss? >> Joseph Bear Woods. And then hold on. So we got to smile. >> Joseph Bearwoods. >> Yeah. >> Why did you smile like that? [laughter] >> B E A R. So, Joseph Woods. J O S E P HT T H >> Woods. W O D S. It's on. It's on. >> You said Bear Woods. >> Well, our name we we got names like got nicknames. >> You're a sovereign citizen. >> No. No. You never heard me. >> Cuz you got names. >> You never heard me say that. >> You That's what you're trying to be, though. >> That's not what I'm trying to do anything, sir. No, I'm not. >> Yeah. All right. Right there. >> All right. That explains a lot. again. You assume making statements that I did not make. You like it. >> He was calling me. >> Dude, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. Even though soft seats would have you believe it's an elephant. Anyway, on to the inevitable arrest. >> Never said that. So, >> who who would we call to verify your employment? What's it again? Who would we call to verify your employment? >> My superior. >> It's part of the government. >> Not a not a private. >> Not a private. No, no. He is my superior. That's what I report to. Which a >> Which government agency? >> Joseph Woods. Which government agency? >> Joseph Woods. He is the head of US protection. >> Which government agency that contracts you guys? >> The US Supreme Court. I've already stated that. Okay. Taylor versus Tantor is our conviction is I can give you the contact information. My superior got it sovereign. >> I'm not I never told about to arrest me. All right. I never said I'm sovereign. I never said that. I'm not talking about it. I'm good. is valid. >> My war is not balanced. That's not a warrant. That was my lawsuit. >> So, your body is $2,100. That's what I'm saying. >> I'm not making it up. >> I know you're not making it up. I I understand that. That's why I said we they're getting there's a lawsuit that's happening with that. >> Okay. So, that's I'm understanding what's happening. >> Yeah. This one did take a while, but he did send you guys on a bit of a wild goose chase by claiming to be an officer of the court, which he will soon live to regret. >> No, you you really don't. You really don't. >> Okay. Do you have anything in your pocket, man? >> No. I mean, I I'll go home. >> Okay. So, what's going to happen here is I'm going to take you to the any kind of jail. >> Uh, are you going to be able to post your bomb? >> What's that again? >> Are you going to be able to post your bond? >> Post my bond? >> Yeah. $16,000 bond. >> So, there's a whole process. going to say yes or no. >> I I I can't speak to that. All right. >> Cuz I need to see what documents. >> I haven't seen no official warrant at all. I haven't >> The guard's going to get towed and we got to get taken to the sheriff's office for safekeeping. >> Sheriff County, you guys. >> So once you get out to figure out whatever you got to do, you can go to the sheriff's office to get your >> I'm going to put this in your in here so you don't lose it. Do you need anything besides your wallet and your phone over the car, sir? >> Um 39's got a 95. >> No, I think that's it. Just wallet. >> I go He says bear woods and I let I start smiling. He's like, "It's just Woods." I go Bear Woods. Got it. That's a southern citizen name. Now we get it. He did a good job playing it off like he wasn't. This is weird. That's fake. It's really something that's fake. >> Yeah. A soft driving around stalking and trying to arrest people on the FBI's most wanted list for breaking laws that he claims don't apply to him is one of the most bizarre things I've seen in the 9 years I've been on YouTube. You're going to sit right behind me here. I just want to watch where traffic is. >> What? How you guys know that my vehicle? >> It's going to get to >> Yeah. What? That's I want to make sure no dentist. >> Yeah, you're good. We'll take an inventory of it and everything. Everything's on body candle. Hold up. Hold up. Hold. 360. >> Good. >> Not really. >> Huh? >> Okay. Well, how about this? You going to give me any troubles? >> Come on. I know. >> If you're not going to give me any trouble, I'll handcuff you in the front so you're more comfortable. I don't know you. That's why I'm asking. >> You haven't seen me get out [laughter] of your classes. >> No, you're good. You're good. >> Listen, man. I ain't going to give you a hard time. Okay. I'm just doing my job. All right. >> I'm good. >> You're doing your job. I'm doing my job. >> You got a misunderstanding. Whatever's going on with the court, you figure it out and then that's it. Okay. This ain't personal for me. It ain't personal for you. Right. Of >> course. >> Yeah. So, it is what it is. Yep. >> Get you out there and then we'll get you out of here. Okay, hold on. Let me lock him. I don't want to be tell. >> You don't have a gun on you, correct? >> No, no, no. >> Okay, let me just check your waistband real quick. >> Listen, I just handcuffed you in front. I don't want you to shoot me in the back of the head. [clears throat] That'd be bad bad day for me, right? Well, that's a first for me. He said, I go, "Who's your supervisor?" "Joseph Bear Woods." And I said, "Bear." And I started laughing. I go, "Sounds like a a sovereign citizen name to me." And he's like, "I never said that." Like, "Oh, so you are." Uh, [clears throat] >> he's got a valid CCL. >> He's dangerously. Yo, did you see the pictures he was showing me? It was of an ID and a badge. Yeah. >> I mean, that's dangerously close to impersonation. >> I think he's impersonating. I mean, he's trying to intimidate us into not arresting him. >> He's literally got a file that says like fugitives on >> the 10 most wanted. >> Who's after the 10 most wanted the FBI? Like even if you're an agent, you're like you go after the lowhanging fruit. You're never going to get Pablo Escobar. Like you're not doing it going down 55 and they know. >> Is he stalking the Is he stalking these people? So during the inventory of the vehicle, they find a shotgun with a flashlight attached to it, a handgun with numerous magazines, a radio, a file marked confidential case file, fugitive recovery agent, a book that obviously contains his magic words and incantations, and a combined copy of what looks like the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the Bill of Rights. He was ultimately charged with two felony counts of false person of a peace officer while armed, a class C felony, and false person of a peace officer, a class 4 felony. Court records show a grand jury later indicted him on both charges. He subsequently wavered a full reading of the indictment, entered a not-uilty plea, demanded a jury trial, and the court entered a discovery order as the case moved forward. As of the latest available court records, the case remains pending. Right, thank you so much for watching, guys. Take care and I will catch up with you in the next video.
