On May 11th, 2025, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. During the stop, officers noticed the passenger toss what appeared to be a clear baggie out of the window. >> Afternoon, Deputy Channel, Shaw County Sheriff's Office. Stop you for your speed. 78 and close to 55. >> What's that? >> Definitely not doing 78. I would love to see >> 78 on >> Okay. Well, I that's what I got you on radar for. All right. >> Okay. I don't I don't show it to people on the side of the road. >> All right. >> Yeah. No. No. I don't show it to people on a traffic stop. Not literally required to. We don't do that. >> No. No. No. No. No. No. >> Sorry about that. >> Okay. No game. You're good. Anything illegal in the car? Any drugs, weapons, knives, anything illegal that shouldn't be in here? >> Sorry. >> Okay. All right. Um, if I My current intention right now is issue a warning for your speed. Do you Okay. So, with that being said, would you mind if I take a look inside for your vehicle for any of those any of those particular items? >> Look inside my vehicle. We can do it for you first, which I do not mind at all. Um, the only thing you want to do is my glove box to my armrest as far as going through my vehicle. I do have a problem with that. >> Okay. Okay. Just hang tight. Wait a minute. Okay, sir. >> So, fast threw something out the window. I can touch the car after I get a good warning. Um, he said he welcome back my glove box to my center console. So, probably this morning had a couple stuff. >> Where'd he throw it at? >> Uh, probably about 100 yards back. A passenger. It was like some clear like like white. >> Do you want star seven? because Star 17's on his way over here. Do you want to ask him the >> No. >> No. >> Um, so he's going fast. Like 78 almost 80. Um, pretty sure the cast something out back there. Um, I told my warning and I was considering box in the area. Okay. >> Hey, how's it going? >> Pretty much better, but how's you doing? >> I'm doing pretty good, man. Hey, so I'm Deputy CH County Sheriff's Office. Is it Did you uh Did I send a search? >> No, I did not. >> Huh? >> I did not consider a search. I told you we can look around the perimeter as far as safety reason. >> Okay, if you guys can step out for what? >> You're going to let me talk? >> I I don't want to step out. >> Okay. Okay. So, I'm going to conduct a canine fear sniff of the vehicle. So, if you can step out right now, >> can I know for what reason? >> I'm going to conduct a fear sniff of the vehicle. Did you step out? >> Can you let me know for what reason? >> I just told you right now. I'm going to conduct. I can't roll my dog when you're inside. So, can you step out the reason? Sir, if I got to tell you one more time, you're going to place under arrest. Sergeant, >> listen. I'm telling you right now. I'm scared right now. I am scared. >> I'm telling you right now to step out. I'm telling you to come out. I have just gave you >> I just told you three times. >> I did not have to follow directions. Yes, you do, sir. Sir, I'm telling you right now, call 911. I need to know why. >> All right, step out. >> I Why are you grabbing me, >> sir? Step out. I'm telling you. What are you doing? What do you see me doing? I'm stepping out or what? >> Step out of the car. Step out of the car. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> PUT YOUR HANDS ON TOP OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW. >> PUT YOUR HANDS ON TOP OF THE CAR. >> WHAT AM I DOING NOW? >> WHAT AM I BEING ARRESTED FOR? >> DUDE, I told you five times why. >> Obstruction. I'm what? Honey, what am I doing? What am I? I told you 10 times already. >> Why are you signing? What the hell is going on? >> I told you I'm conducting. Let me talk. You're not letting me talk. >> I'm listening. Yes, sir. >> Listen. Yes. >> I told you three, four times already. I'm conducting a fear step for your vehicle. You got to step out of the car. >> Yes, you did. >> And you didn't step out. >> No, I was asking why am I having that? >> Now you're because you're an anchor. Listen. >> No, I'm I'm actually coming out soon. I'm scared. >> I'm trying to explain to you. Yes, sir. I'm listening. Listen, if I conduct a fear sniff of the vehicle, you got to step out of the car. I'm not going to conduct a fear sniff of your vehicle and the dog bites you. You know what I mean? >> No. Absolutely. That's why I told you why. That's what I was asking. >> Cuz we're going to do a fear sniff. You deny consent. >> For what purpose? >> You deny consent. We're going to do a fear sniff of the vehicle. >> I've been pulled over multiple times. Never had to get my car searched. No, I was asking why. >> It's your right. It's your right. So, I'm I'm going to run the dog. >> Absolutely right. >> Please walk my chicken in the back seat. >> Yeah. He ain't going to be on no chicken. >> I'm literally listen. It could have been an easy thing. I run the dog. Nothing hits easy. I'm just wondering why. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to ask questions. You told the question. >> I told you like five times. >> All right. Listen. I'm going to run my dog then we'll be out of here. Right. >> Anything in there that you're not supposed to have? >> I don't know. >> No. >> Then what's the big deal then? Why did you make this a thing? >> Because, man, you would >> then why Level with me here, bro. Why did Why Why did this become a thing? >> Honest with you. Honest. Because I've been pulled over twice for the last two weeks cuz I have a Georgia tag. >> Mhm. >> It's [ __ ] frustrating. >> Okay. >> I'm just being straight honest. Mother's Day. My mother died in 23. That's my god brother right there. >> Sorry about that. >> It part dude. I searched my car. Like it's [ __ ] frustrating. That's honestly the reason. >> It's honestly the reason. >> I just went to grab a case of beer. We got two things of chicken. I'm about to go home and [ __ ] eat. >> Mhm. >> Now I'm actually about to go to jail for >> So here here's the thing, man. >> All right. Yes, sir. >> I didn't stop you. So I don't know. I don't know. I don't know why he stopped you. I'm sure he explained to you why he stopped you. Okay. He he asked you Do you give us consent to search the car? You said no. >> Absolutely. >> Which is your right. >> We can do an exterior sniff of the vehicle with a canine if we choose to do so. >> Move it out of the >> Exactly. That's where it constitute something more than a traffic stop. Why? I ask you to see the sergeant. I say, "Can I please see the >> at that moment when we're giving you a lawful command to exit the car so we can conduct that sniff?" When you tell us no and we tell you again, listen, get out of the car and then we open the door for you to escort you out of the car and you go like this and you pull away from us. That's resisting. >> Yes, you did. It's Dude, I'm I'm trying to explain it to you in the moment. I can't explain it to you because I don't know you. You know what I mean? I don't know if you got guns, knives, bombs, any of that. I don't know you. I've never met you before. Okay? I've had interactions with people that they've acted calm and then they tried to kill me later on. Okay? So, we can't just base it off of I'm telling you I'm not a threat. You know what I mean? >> No, absolutely. All I did was add to the explanation, which is my part of my writing, >> right? But we but we did and then you kept on interrupting my my boy over here. You kept on interrupting, >> but he didn't give me the reason behind it, which is my >> right. Let me roll out the window so you can get AC. Um, he didn't consent to a search. Mike came over and told him, "Hey, look, I'm going to conduct an exterior for the car. I need you to get out of the car." He said I wasn't. He said no. told him again, "Listen, in order for us to do this, you need to be outside of the car." He said, "I'm not going to get out of the car." I told him, "You need to get out of the car. Are you going to go to jail?" Mike opened the door, went to go grab him. He said, "I'm not getting out of the car." >> Perfect. >> That was it. Mike took his taser, >> pointed it at him. I said, "Get out of the car. Put your hand on the top of the car." And I put him in handcuffs. That was it. No deployment. >> Being towed. >> I don't see any. >> What did you say? What? What? >> Oh, I don't think he's got anything. I think the way the way he explained it to me was he was just frustrated that he's constantly getting stopped and stuff like that. So, that's why he's >> Sometimes they had him in the speakers, but I don't think this is this is >> n I didn't like that. >> I wouldn't sweat it. >> I didn't even know that was in there. Like I said, he's he was just getting irritated from being pulled over. So, my cuz he's on a a stop list cuz he was working at Harley-Davidson. >> A stop list. >> Yeah, Harley-Davidson put out a stop list. >> What's that? >> Yeah, that's what is that? >> I don't know. He's just telling me that he was on a stop list, meaning that people stop him. >> Yeah, that's not a thing. At least not in Florida. Yeah. >> We can't we can't just make a list of people to stop because that's unconstitutional. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. We can go to jail for that. >> Yeah. >> So that that's not a thing. >> Yeah. >> Did he ride for Did he ride for a 1% club? Is that what is that is that what he's thinking? >> He didn't ride for 1%. >> He just worked for Harley-Davidson all day. >> Oh, I used to work for him, too. >> But now he's here. Now he's >> What's a good phone number for your uh for a cell? So they can put this on the tow form. >> Cuz you're going to jail. Um. Huh? >> Resisting without violence. When he told you to step out of the car, he was lawfully allowed to do that. And you and you didn't listen to him. >> I was asking why. You would be scared if you got pulled behind you. >> No, I just do as I'm told. It's the police. They're not going to just shoot me down for no reason. >> I'm not saying you, but like you. Like >> those are good cops. No, we're not playing the We're not playing the race game here. I'm not doing none of that. >> Okay. >> I'm not. That's why. I'm just like, >> come on, man. Really? >> It was a damn cop. I know it's not the race game. >> I got you. It's so easy just to listen what they had to say. I just stepped out. >> Bring me to the ringer and tow my car for >> No, you got your car total for not listening to directions, man. No one else here purposely just wanted to tow your car. >> My phone was cold. >> Yeah, it's getting out down here. >> It's in the It's in the back. We'll get it when you get the jail. >> You good, man? >> Okay. >> The man was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing an officer. >> On January 23rd, 2024, officers responded to a Firestone tire for a report of fraud. A customer had paid for service with a bad check and was refusing to properly handle the issue. Officers on scene contacted the customer to request he come settle the matter. And when he arrived, he started making bizarre claims to the officers. >> Got this guy. He wrote me up a bad check. >> We did some work for him. >> He's got this invoice and uh we got the copy of his insufficient check fund. We tried to for weeks get it straight with him for weeks. And uh uh the problem is the main problem is is he don't want to pay the insufficient check fee. >> There is a fee for me getting a bad check. >> Most people won't. And uh we we want to charge him $20 for that. It's just the way it is. And uh he is we don't want he ain't doing anything. He's been saying he's going to send me a money order for 2 weeks. >> You have his phone number >> and uh like I said, he bill was 25814 >> and um he wrote us a check >> and for 25821 I don't know why it's 59y old. >> Yeah. and and it bounced back for insufficient bonds and uh I got a hold of him and he says uh it's our fault, >> the bank's fault, not his fault that he'll send us a money order after we argued with him and and uh he said he sent us a money order. Money order never came and >> that's how it's going. >> Now, do you want me to try and contact him and see if he can come here and take care of it now or do you want to like pursue a criminal char? What do you want to do? >> Yeah, let's see. He's going to come down here and just pay it out. I mean, The total >> 258 27814. That's what he owes me as we can tell, >> right? >> Engage 360. Is that you guys? >> No. >> If there is of a crime that >> it would be for the original amount. >> Um I know that store policy you can tack on. That's fine. >> Um but would he be required to pay back for you know, >> right? It's like someone took an item. It's like Yeah. Well, now it's like plus interest cuz I lost. You know what I mean? >> Charged a fee for that. >> You were charged by the bank for that, >> right? >> But let me give him a call and just see if he wants to take care of this. I mean, it's $20 either which way. I mean, we're not stressing it. It's [laughter] the It's the principle at this point, >> right? But the main thing is go this far, but >> is to just get the work done for the Yeah. Okay. >> It's just ridiculous to sit here and argue with us, >> right? I got you. Let me give this guy a call real quick. Okay. How much? >> 27814 receipt. >> Yep. Yep. One minute. Thank you. >> Yeah. I'll hang out till he gets his receipt, then I'll I'll take out of here. How are you doing? >> Pretty decent so far today. >> Been living over one minute. >> Yeah. So, what kind of business do you have? >> It's uh transportation, taxi. >> Oh, okay. >> Everything. >> All right. >> I service a lot of the airports. All actually all of them. All the way from Miami up. >> Jeez, that's a lot of driving. >> It is a lot of driving. This baby's got 27,000 miles on it. >> 27,000. Yeah. >> Still runs like a new car. >> Yeah. Take care of them. They do. >> Takes me a minute. >> What do you got? >> I uh there's some things going on with these guys. I'm an investigator with the Department of Justice. Okay. This was pretty much done on purpose. Okay. He's got two or three places. Couple one one over Charlie and a couple other towns. Who do you work for? >> Department of Justice. >> You have an ID and credentials. >> Do your task. >> Yeah. Just curious. Okay. Do you have your ID with you as well? >> You're not allowed to carry it. That's it. >> You're not allowed to carry an ID? Nope. >> Just my regular Oh, you want my personal ID? >> Yeah, sure. Oh, >> I can show you my driver's license. >> Yeah, if you got it. >> I hope so. Please don't say anything to him. >> Okay, >> that's me. >> And how long you been working for them? >> 51 years, man. >> 51 years, >> man. >> Huh? All right. And you don't carry ID? You're not allowed to carry. You're >> not allowed to carry paper ID. >> Okay. We'll have finish the conversation when he leaves. >> Yeah. You >> gave me 300, >> huh? >> Got change back there. You gave me 300. >> Yeah. >> All right. Thank you. Sorry I had to go to this way. I didn't expect it to be like that. >> Your dad's probably turning over in his grave. So >> Oh, yeah. He's looking at you wondering why you're doing that. >> No, he is. >> I don't know who you're dealing with. >> All right, guys. >> Texting me all that. Thank you, buddy. >> What? Anyways, yeah. So, I'm not I'm not familiar. Department of what now? And >> justice. >> Department of Justice. >> All right. >> I've been all over the world, man. >> Okay. >> They got the >> And what is I've never seen that badge before. Can I see that again? No. It's very cool. >> I've had that badge since n uh two 1978. >> Wow. Can I see that again? >> See how nice? >> Yeah, that was pretty cool. Now, is this law enforcement? >> No, Department of Justice. >> Oh, okay. >> I was just curious. >> See the world up here? >> Oh, wow. >> That's gold. >> Oh, okay. What? Uh, >> kind of pretty, isn't it? >> I've never heard of it before. >> You never heard of the Department of Justice? Come on, man. You >> not as a What? Uh, who do they fall underneath? I guess I >> Who do they fall underneath? Federal government, Department of Justice, >> huh, very interesting. >> I've done a lot of work for the Department of Defense still. >> Oh, okay. And you're still active with them, huh? >> You're still active with them? >> May 8th, I'm going to be done. >> Oh, very cool. I'll show you. >> I can't show you. I got >> Oh, okay. I'm [ __ ] >> Oh, okay. I got you. But uh it was a great job. It's done a great job. >> Yeah. >> Work when I want them. I'm at the mall. So what? >> I got you. >> All right. >> I know. You're from Sarasota, right? >> Charlotte. >> Oh, yeah. Charlotte. >> Yeah. >> I know a few of the guys up in Sarasota. >> Oh, okay. Who do you know up here? Or up there? Who do you know up there? >> Uh John I don't know. It's in my paperwork. >> Oh, I got you. >> I have to keep paperwork on there. >> Okay. Yeah, I got you. Oh, yeah. If you wouldn't mind, just hold tight. I'm going to update this call and I'll come chat with you for a second, then. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Yeah. M Mr. So, I'm curious. Um the the Department of Justice now, they gave you a badge, but they don't give you an ID. >> You can't carry it. I go to foreign countries. If you take it to a foreign country, your ID can be exactly, >> right? But they don't allow you to carry an ID, but they gave you the badge and your current law enforcement. >> That's That's strange. Do you have a Do you have a supervisor that you report to? >> Yeah. Unless it's a case of emergency, I'm not supposed to give his name out. >> You're not supposed to what now? >> Give out his name unless case of emergency. All he's going to do, he's he's going to >> Yeah. Hey, I hate to tell you, but it's an emergency. >> Huh? >> It's an emergency. >> That one. Uh, let me show you. Why are you saying that? I don't >> I don't know if you're aware, but if you present a badge and say you're law enforcement and you're not, that's a that's a felony. >> I don't I don't use it. Only when I leave this country. I just wanted to show you a little bit of information. >> Right. But you presented it to me and told me you're law enforcement, but you don't have an ID. >> That is it. I'm a federal >> Yeah. Federal law enforcement, right? Okay. Yeah. So, like FBI, >> I don't know. Uh, >> I don't want to get in trouble. Oh, here. Let me hit Let me see if this one. >> What's that? >> I'm going to Paraguay. >> To what's that? >> I'm going to Paraguay 25. >> Okay. >> I operate out of the country very seldom. Yeah. I was asked to do this because these these guys are reported to uh be bringing drugs into the country. >> Okay. from we know that they're going down there. >> Four to five days a week. >> Okay. Did you have your ID with you again? I'm sorry. Your regular driver's license. >> I don't think you're going to find find out too much because they won't give much. >> They're not going to relinquish that much information. >> No, they won't. >> All right. >> But I don't know what I don't know what can I do to make you understand that I'm not a pay. Yeah, that's what I was just asking some questions and stuff like that for just so I could have a better understand cuz like I said, I've I've never really had that many actions. I've worked with federal law enforcement before. I used to work for DoD as a military police officer. >> Department of Defense. >> Yeah, >> this is Department of Justice. >> Yeah, I got you. >> A big difference. >> Yeah, right. Gotcha. All right. >> Don't take my driver's license. >> Yeah, I'm just going to hold on to I'm not I'm not I'm not stealing it from you. I promise. Hey, um we're in this predicament. I'm just going to read you this real quick. Okay, >> I read it. All right, I'm going to read it to you anyways. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions and have him or her with you during questioning. If you can't afford a lawyer, one will be appointed to you before any questioning if you wish. I know this is silly. If you decide to answer any questions without a lawyer present, you still have the right to stop answering at any time. Still have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to a lawyer. I just have to get that out of the way when we have a conversation like this. >> That's fine. >> Yeah. >> I know the rule I have on myself. Did you have your supervisor's number? >> I can't give it to you. I can't do it. They won't let me if I do. >> All right. >> Northport knows who I am. >> Northport PD. >> Yeah. >> They know who your supervisor is. >> I have their >> Who do you know in Northport that would be able to verify who you are? >> Morales. >> The chief. >> Yes. Assistant. >> Assistant chief. >> Uh also um I have the phone number direct to them. So like I have a problem like that. >> Oh, what's that phone number? >> You don't have any guns in the car or nothing like that, do you? >> I of course. >> You're armed? >> Oh, yeah. >> All right. Here. Okay, that's fine. Leave it there. All right. Uh, real quick, I'll let you get that phone number, but we're going to just change things up. I need you to shut the car off real quick. Okay. Cuz you're detained right now. Too >> long. I got to pick. >> Okay. Yeah, that's all right. Here, shut your car off for me. All right. Just do me a favor. Shut your car off. >> All right. Where's your firearm at? >> It's right there >> in the inside of your shirt. >> It's in the shoulder hole. So, right here >> underneath. Don't reach for it. Don't reach for it. >> No. No. It's right there. >> Okay. Yeah. Okay. All right. Here's what I want you to do. Okay. Um, you're you're carrying a firearm. >> Yeah. >> Um, >> unlicensed. Okay, that's fine. I'm going to remove it from you temporarily. >> Huh? >> I'm going to remove it from you temporarily because of the way things are. All right. What I want you to do is place your hands over that direction. I'm going to take it off of you. Okay. Don't reach for it. Don't reach for it. Don't unbutton. Don't unbutton. I'm going to take care of it for you. All right. >> You can just keep your hands over there. I'm just going to loaded one in the chamber. >> I got you. No guns in the car. No. >> All right. Car is off. All right. Just go ahead and face me and just we'll have a conversation here. Okay. I don't know if I can or not. All right, buddy. >> You just hang tight right there. All right. Like I said, if this is you are who you say you are, then we're you'll be on your way. No problem. >> Here's the North Here's the Northport direct assistance phone number right there. >> Oh, okay. And >> so if I have any problems, they'll assist me. >> Okay. And who who am I going to talk to on here that's going to be able to confirm who you are? >> Chris Morales, I guess. >> Chris Morales. Yeah. >> Okay. I happen to know him just because I know. Okay. But I just think that's a little strange that number two in command is the only person that know who you are. You get what I'm saying? Does that sound right? >> Yeah, it does. >> Okay. >> I've been after 51 years of me, buddy. >> All right. >> Well, I just I've got a lot of law enforcement friends and family and this isn't quite normal what you'd say. >> Keep that wheel. That's what I >> Oh, okay. Yeah. >> All right. Hi, this is uh Deputy Chandler here. Um, I'm currently investigating a a crime. This is kind of pecular that I get called to you guys. Um, I don't know if this can be accomplished, but this individual is claiming to be a uh federal entity of law enforcement, and the only person that is able to justify whether or not he is or not is your guys's number two in command. So, um I don't know if I'd be able to speak to Chief uh Morales or not, but if there is a possibility, um if he's available, that would be good. If not, I completely understand. >> What department did you say you're with? >> I'm with the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office. I'm sorry. >> That's okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. Um well, let me uh place you on a brief real quick. Okay. >> Thanks. I appreciate it. Not a call you get every day. You're welcome. >> Thanks. >> Okay. So, does does he know that you're calling or no? >> He does not. Um and again, I know this is strange, but >> um if it's possible would just so I can say that I check this box. I know it's a request, but you think that they live here? Um, so this individual is saying that only one of the only people that can justify who this um our subject here is is Chief Morales. So, um, before I go further with investigating this pretty serious felony, I'd like to check the box at least that I reached out. If he does or doesn't know, he can let us know, but I understand if he can't accept the call at the moment. >> Yeah. Okay. Uh, so what's the address of that person then? Do you have it? his address. Yeah. Hold on one second. All right. So, this where we're at, >> huh? >> I said this is where we're at. Um, you're claiming to be law enforcement, >> not law enforcement. >> Okay. Now, you changed your story. >> Department? No. Department of Justice. I told you that. >> Yeah. But you also said law enforcement. I have it on recording here. And you said, "Yeah, but so that's strange." Then then you don't have an ID and I'm not allowed to talk to any of your supervisors or anyone that's able to confirm your identification. >> What are they going to do? >> Secret agent. >> So what are we doing here? >> What are we doing here? >> Yeah. >> Right now you're detained for a crime. >> What crime? >> Impersonating law enforcement until I can figure out otherwise. So that's not normal out of my years of experience and being around law enforcement that you can't carry an identification card. >> What do I do about it? >> Yeah, but if you left the country, say that was true, and you left the country, you just leave your ID at home. You're in the States. >> I can't take it with me either. I can't take it with me. I can't take nothing with me. Like I'm going to Paraguay the 25th. Okay. I can't take no form of American identification. >> That doesn't make any sense. I'm just >> being I'm just I'm that doesn't make any sense. I'm just being honest with you. That makes that makes no sense. I'm just being honest with you. >> You just work for Department of Justice as a whole. But what entity of Department of Justice or what law enforcement group of Department of Justice? What I do is I go to different countries and I mediate uh let's say there's going to be an uprising or a coup or something like that. I mediate try to mediate that and bring it down to a lower level up. That's what my my job is. >> Okay. And you said you're actively investigating this place for a crime, right? >> I'm not. >> You just said a minute ago you're investigating something. >> I'm not investigating. I am giving information back to I don't do the investigation. That's my supervisor. >> And your supervisor is not able to be reached by phone. It's that secretive that he can't even talk to me. >> He He won't. No, >> he won't because his ID is them. >> You can't give his name. Can you give his name out either? >> Yeah, I can give you a name out. It's Elliot. That's all he is. >> Oh, just Elliot. Okay. >> That's all I know him. That's him. >> That's all you know him as? Okay. >> And you're going to make me late for this call. You know where I am. You know where I live. Is there any problem? Come back. Come get me. Come >> see me. >> Yeah, that may be. But we're going to hang tight. >> Hello. >> Hey. So, what where do you work for under the Department of Justice? >> I never know who I'm going to be working for. >> Okay. >> The last guy I worked for >> Who's your supervisor right now? >> Huh? Who's your supervisor right now? >> His name is Elliot. >> Elliot. >> I can't I don't know his last name. >> Can't give it out. >> Nest. >> Don't use his last name. >> Elliot. Nes. >> He said he can't give it out. He can't give it out. Okay. >> Super secretive. All right. Do you have his phone number? >> I never contact them. They contact me. >> Yes. Very secretive. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. What was What was the last investigation you conducted? >> You don't have to give me any names or no locations? >> It was nothing. Uh and I don't do the investigation. I'm just checking the box. >> I uh it was up in Sarasota. >> People are selling dogs. >> You went in and bought a dog so I didn't know it was possible that you have a weapon on you. >> He has Okay. >> Do you have trouble? >> I'll show you here. Okay. Every law enforcement officer. Okay. And that's what you're saying you are, right? A law enforcement officer. You're >> forced to lie. I >> work for the Department of Justice investigation. >> All right. What do you got? >> So, this right here. Okay. This is saying that I have full arrest powers. Take it. >> Yeah. Saying I have full arrest powers and I have the ability to carry a concealed weapon. Okay. That's given to me by my boss. All right. Do you have anything like that from you from your boss? >> No. Okay. >> They won't they won't give us stuff like that >> because if we're thrown out of the country, >> we can't take ID limit only driving. >> But yet you got a bags that's enormous. Now this bag >> um No. Uh >> sure. Let me see it. >> Yeah. >> Can I take it out of the case? >> Yeah. If you get it out been in there a long time, >> I bet. >> Wait, it's got >> Don't drop it. >> There's no number on the back of it. >> No, they don't have it. >> Yeah. >> Let me tell you. Hey guys, listen. >> No, this is what's what we're doing right now. This is what we're listening to. Okay. So, right now you're being detained. Do you understand that? >> I don't understand why. >> Okay. Because you're you're you know impersonating a a law enforcement officer. >> I'm not. >> Okay. >> I'm not saying a law enforcement officer. I work for our government. >> All right. So, who do you work for? >> The Department of Justice. >> Okay. >> That's all. >> Do you know what? Can Can you tell me the different areas of the Department of Justice? >> Investigations. >> Okay. What else? >> That's all I do. >> Okay. Like what agency within the Department of Justice? Well, it's mostly foreign stuff like um I'm scheduled >> foreign stuff like office of what? >> Scheduled to go to Paraguay the 25th of March. >> I'm scheduled to go to Paraguay the 25th of March. >> Okay. For for who? >> Department of Justice. >> Okay. All right. That's not how the Department of Justice works. >> Oh, yeah. Okay. That's like him being in the army saying, "Well, I work for the Department of Defense." But he works for the Army. So, what agency under the Department of Justice do you work for? >> Pretty much all of them. >> Name one. Give me one. Give me two. Uh, just because in case you got lucky. Give me two areas of the Department of Justice. >> Foreign uh >> foreign investigations. >> Okay. Nope. >> No. We have a different name for that. >> Why are you guys busting my balls? I'm not doing anything wrong >> except for lying >> and right now. So, okay. >> Until proven otherwise. So, >> Huh. >> And this is we're investigating a felony. I'm just letting you know. >> So, knowing that you're that what you're claiming to be a federal agent, okay, is being investigated for a felony, I would be calling up my supervisor right now. >> Yes. >> What's your supervisor's number? >> Not allowed. >> And I could call him. >> I'm not allowed. I'm not allowed. Will he accept calls from jail? >> All right. I guess you guys got to do what you got to do. >> Yeah, we're Yeah, >> but try to get a hold of Chris Morales. He knows about what I do. >> Hey, this is gay. So, he says he works for the Department of Justice. I'm like, well, what what agency within it? And he says the foreign what? >> All of them at first. >> Yes. >> Yeah. He works for all of them. >> Yeah. But the foreign >> foreign investigations >> foreign investigations department of the DOJ, >> but he has no no ID. He's carrying a weapon. Right. Exactly. Okay. I I don't know to be honest. I don't even know how we ran into this guy. I've been running running ragged all day. Um but um but yeah, he he says cuz I got um the image is right. We had uh cuz I had I don't know if you know Wokei, he works with the um Yeah. So he's ask Yeah. He's asking those guys down there and they're like, "No, it looks uh" I think the the term they used was fake as So, exactly. That bag is worthless. Our contacts with the FBI say >> the term was fake as >> turn off your car, please. >> It's off. >> No, it's off. His car is off. >> Your car is off. Yeah, I already >> step on out. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Step on out real quick. >> Can you walk or do you need your walker? >> I'm sorry. >> Can you walk? Okay. Or do you normally use your walker? >> I usually use my walker. >> Can I get it for you? >> Yeah. What's going on? So, we need to stand up and talk about >> Yeah. >> There you go. Okay. Yeah. We'll start over here real quick. >> All right. So, you're getting placed under arrest for impersonating law enforcement officer. Okay. It's a felony. And I'm also going to charge you with carrying a a firearm in a commission of a felony. Okay. Yeah. We we looked into all that. Um I I've been around long enough work with federal entities that we're not we're not buying it. Just long story short. Okay. >> Not going to be good tomorrow. All right. My our supervisor knows everybody our intelligence unit knows the uh the federal agents already know. We're already talking to federal agents about this. So they already know. So it's going to be no surprise. Okay. >> Like I said, if you give us a a supervisor, we will gladly call. >> He's looking now. He's trying to find one. >> Who's that? The >> police officer just call me PDF PD. >> Yeah, we we're done with the secret agent stuff in the back of that car. >> Yeah, >> you're going to jail. >> We'll go have to call somebody when you get to jail. When you get to jail, >> I'll get your phone for you. >> Yep. We got all that. I've been a gentleman the whole time, too. Okay. So, if I say I'm going to get your phone, trust me. That'll go with us. Okay. >> Weapons on you. >> He's got it. >> No, I got it. Yeah. Just come here. I'm going to I'm going to search him here. Just hang tight right there. >> No other weapons other than that pistol, right? Okay. >> What's this? Is this a >> That's a band that I already moved the firearm out of. >> Okay. I just got to I don't know if I can get in here. >> I've got you. I'm just supporting you. Okay. There you go. Good. Okay. Very good. Very good. Okay. Oh, this is so tight. I don't know if I get my leg in. >> There you go. I slide the other one in, right? >> Yeah. >> Where's my car going to be? >> Where it's going to get towed. I'm going to give you the tow sheet for it. Okay. >> What? >> It's going to get towed. I'm going to give you the tow sheet. Side your other foot in there. Just a little more. Yeah, you can scoot back as far as you need. You just got to make that gap and your foot can slide under there. >> How do I get Am I going to be released tonight? >> Yeah, if you get if you get that bail, you you're a bond. You will >> What is the bail going to be? >> I don't know. I don't set the bales, but >> You got my gun, right? My >> I do. Yeah, it's going to go into evidence. Okay. All right. You're older and you got some health concerns, so I'm going to handcuff you in the front. Okay. Put your hands in the front of you. >> Can I have my phone so I can call my girl my girl and have her come get me? >> Not right now. >> At the jail, you can. >> Put your hands in your front of you. >> After all the work, I That's twisted. Can you turn it? The man was charged with fraud and impersonating a federal officer. On June 13th, 2025, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing multiple traffic violations. >> Hello, I'm Officer Alley Police. Reason I'm stopping tonight, when you were over at Dole uh at the four-way stop sign, >> you stopped. Your whole vehicle was in the crosswalk. >> Um >> I think you're right. >> So, and then when you turned on the Lakeshore, you were actually straddling both the oncoming lane in this lane. Is everything all right tonight or >> you know, I've lived here for so many years. I I got bad habits. >> Okay. Do you insurance with you as well? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yes. I There goes right there. >> Yeah. You know, I'm not going to >> Okay. >> I totally get it. You heading home tonight or? >> Yeah, I live over there on the west end. >> Where you coming? Where are you coming from? >> Um, where am I coming from? >> Well, I've been to like a couple places. My girlfriend had abandoned Wakanda. Let's see if this one is correct. >> Okay, give me a couple minutes. I'll be right back with you. Okay. >> Any luck? >> You know, that's really weird because I'm like, where the heck is it? That's so weird. I'm like so habit forming. And I'm like, where is it? You know, like I put it in my photos and everything and like now I don't even see it cuz I never get signed up or do anything. >> Fair enough. Here, do you mind you I don't want you to drop any stuff in there. I just want to talk to you outside the car real quick. >> Why do you want to do that? >> Uh just cuz just with all of your driving and stuff and some of the things I'm seeing. I just want to make sure you're okay. I just want to talk to you outside of the car. >> I'm actually fine. >> Well, yeah. I need I just like I said, >> I don't see anything that you that I've done. I mean, I I kind of admit I'm local and I I usually just kind of just I did stop at the Dole. >> So, the reason I'm The reason I'm stopped at >> the Dole thing. >> So, when you stopped over at Dole on Woodstock, >> you were all in or was it? >> Yeah, it's Dole and Woodstock. You're all the way in the intersection. >> Okay. >> Well, I'm always, you know, I ride a motorcycle. >> Fair enough. But then when you're coming up and you're driving in two lanes and then when I'm hitting the lights >> Yeah. When you turned onto this street, you were straddling both lanes. >> No, I wasn't. >> Yes, you were. I was right behind you. >> I don't think so. >> So, like I said, I just want to talk to you outside. It's not the end of the world, but I'd like to have >> No, no, no. I'm giving you a cordial I'm giving you an order so that we can have a cordial conversation. >> An order? >> Yes. I'm giving you a lawful order that you need to step out of the car. >> What I'm saying is when you're on a traffic stop, I have the right to ask you to step out of the car to talk. >> I haven't been on a traffic stop at like correct. What I'm explaining to you is yes, it's Pennsylvania versus Mims is a Supreme Court case law that says on any traffic stop, I have the right as a police officer, as long as I have you lawfully detained, which I do on two moving violations to ask you to step out of the car to talk to. >> What are the moving violations? >> Improperly lane usage and improper turn. >> On a GoPro, >> it's on a dash cam and on my body cam. >> Do you mind if I see it? >> No, because my body my body and dash cam are still doing it. >> So, you need to exit the vehicle right now. Okay. >> I'm not exiting the vehicle unless you show me what I did wrong. Okay. So, you need to exit the vehicle. Otherwise, you're going to be obstructing and I can place you under arrest. >> Would you please mind showing me what I did wrong first? Cuz I'd like to see >> I cannot I cannot stop recording right now. >> What are you talking about? >> My dash cam, my body cam recording. In order to be able to show it to you, I would have to turn that off. >> I'd like to see what I did wrong because I don't really think I did anything wrong. >> Yes. But so, this is where we're at right now is you need to exit the vehicle and talk to me. >> I'm not exiting the vehicle. >> Okay. If you don't exit the vehicle, I'm going to open your vehicle, take you out, and place you under arrest. >> I don't think you can do that. >> I can legally do that. You'd be instructed because I've given you a lawful because I'm telling you because I'm seeing things that could be indicative of impairment. >> Well, I'd like to see what you're talking about because I don't see any reason. >> Stop at the stop sign. >> So, so come talk to me outside of the car and we can I can explain it to you. Okay. >> No, I don't like this. Now, you know, I'm hugely back the blue. we ride in all these like charity events for you guys and I'm like I don't understand because number one I've been living here for I don't know 40 years. It's just I told you it's like a bad habit that I just like drive because I know where I'm going. >> So why are you so apprehensive about just having a conversation with me outside of your vehicle? >> I'm not apprehensive about it. I just think I know my rights. >> No, it's actually not your right. Uh you have the right to you have the right to remain silent. You have many rights, but the right to sit in your car after I've lawfully told you you have to get out. >> Well, you're telling me, but you're not willing to show me the evidence. >> How can I show you the evidence if you're still sitting in the car? >> How about you show me the evidence first and then I'd be willing to get out of my car? >> That's not going to happen. So, you need to exit the car, otherwise we're going to take you out. >> How about we call your sergeant? >> Okay. >> All right. >> 31 from 301. Uh, my driver's asking for you. >> No. >> Okay. >> No, no, no. I'm saying really fake driver. >> I'm saying that's on my dad. >> No, on stop signs I don't put my feet down, which I admit on my Harley. >> Yeah, >> I'm just used to that. And so I just when I'm in my little car, I kind of do the same thing. I totally admit that. >> Right. And he's >> But I didn't even roll through the stop sign. I stopped at the stop. I don't know what he's talking about. Like >> So you I don't know what he's talking about. So I want to see what he's talking about. >> I can explain to you. So when we're at Woodstock, >> I want to see the evidence cuz I don't know what you're talking about. >> That's my sergeant's coming down. I'm going to tell you. So my sergeant's coming down. I'm going to tell you right now. We're not going to stop my body cam or my dash cam to show you the evidence. >> Okay. I saw it with my own eyes. That's why I waited for you to go because you were sitting in the middle of the intersection. >> I don't know what you're talking about. The middle of the intersection. I'm at a stop. >> All right. So stop. So stop. >> I'm at a stoplight. So I'm at a stop light at Dole. You didn't stop the lights on until after I was after Dole. And I'm like, "What? I don't know what's happening." >> Yes. So, there was a stop sign. >> Well, if you didn't like the stop sign, why didn't you pull me over after the stop sign? >> Cuz I still have to run your plate. I like to know where I'm stopping before I turn my lights on. >> What's going on, >> ma'am? So, like, like you said, you didn't have anything to drink. He's just covering our baselines with with that. So, 40 years. I love you guys. >> I've been backing you guys forever. I know so many people in the police department. What is the deal? >> I like >> I've never heard of something like this where I'm >> like like you said stopping at the stop sign >> because of the driving infractions. They're just consistent with no driving infractions. >> Yes, there was. Additionally, you're fumbling with all of your documents. You're slurring your speech. >> I can't find my I'm like, where the heck is I usually put my insurance card like >> Okay, this is what happened. Let let me ask you this. Would you would you even just submit to a breathalyzed? >> No, I will not do anything because I don't know why you're even stopping me. You're not even telling me. >> Stop. Okay, my sergeant. So, I'm I'm trying to tell you, but you're not listening. >> Seriously. >> So, when I pulled you over, I pulled you over for that one and then I called >> one. You're not the stop sign that that we've been talking to at the Dana Dolewood. >> But you didn't even pull me over after that. That's when I hit my dash cam and then we kept going and then as we were coming down >> No, you didn't even pull me over till after the stop light >> at that Dolan 14. Correct. Cuz I was still running your plate. I was still following you. And then when it was a safe location to make a stop, that's why I stopped you here. >> You weren't even following me. You came on a turn after that at the stop sign. You're flashing your lights at me to turn >> to keep going. Yes. Because I was getting behind. >> I'm waiting for you. I'm at the stop sign and you're I'm like why are you not turning? >> Because you stopped in the So the stop line on the stop sign, right? You were all the way in the intersection. >> It's called enttrapment. If that's what you're talking about. If that's what he's talking about. Cuz I'm sitting at the stop sign waiting for the car to turn. Then he starts following me. >> Right. I blow. >> Karen, here's the thing. >> Look, my name's Dave. Okay. >> You what? >> My name's Dave. You can call me Dave. >> All right, >> that's fine. But here's the thing. >> You're on a traffic stop. >> You're on a traffic stop right now. Officer How is the one in charge of the traffic stop. He's giving you a lawful order, which we are allowed to do, for you to exit the vehicle so we can continue his investigation. If you refuse to do that, you will be arrested for obstructing an officer. >> I'm not obstructing an officer by not exiting my vehicle. >> Yes, you are. He is giving you a lawful order to exit the vehicle. >> I know my rights. I do not have to exit the vehicle because I know for a fact that I've done nothing wrong. >> Take your seat belt. Karen, >> please please cooperate. >> So >> do that for me, please. >> Why do you want me to exit the vehicle? >> So he can continue his investigation. >> What investigation? >> I I've not even done anything. >> What are you doing, >> Karen? >> Oh man, you do have a body cam on, right? Yes, I do. We all do. >> So I'm going to give you Karen. Is there anything I can do or say to make you exit this vehicle before you get arrested and I have to put hands on you? >> I'm thinking. I'm thinking. >> Okay, take a moment. >> So, what's going to happen right now is either you're going to get out of the car and we're going to continue our conversation and back or I'm going to put hands on you, take you out of this car, tow your car after you get arrested and taken to Crystal Lake. >> But you need to come up with a reason why you'd be doing this to me. >> Because you're fumbling with items. You are slurring your speech. You >> I'm not slurring my speech. This is so >> I've never met you before, but that's what it appears to me. >> Oh my god, you're cracking me up. >> So So I want to make sure that you're not impaired. I want to do a couple of things to make sure you're not impaired. >> But Karen, this is this is the last opportunity I'm going to give you before I arrest you for obstructing. Do you understand? >> That's fine. >> So just step out of the car. Let's make this easy. And >> I'm not stepping out of the car. >> Okay, then you're under arrest. >> For what? Well, can I have my Wait, hold on one second. Wait. Come out of the car. >> All right. Well, we give me one second. >> You were under arrest. Come on in the car. >> Well, can I get my purse and my phone? >> Nope. We'll get it for you. You're under arrest. >> You got Just get my phone to my purse. >> Okay, Karen. >> Okay, turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Oh, this is fun. >> You guys crack me up. >> All I'm going to do is get out of the car. That's it. We're going to go to the passenger side. You >> going to do it? >> The reason was so you don't get arrested and so we could have a civil conversation. What? >> Okay. Well, we had a civil conversation when I was in my car. Mhm. >> was charged with multiple driving infractions [music] and resisting arrest. On October 31st, 2025, officers responded to a call of a road rage incident in which multiple people were attacked with pepper spray. >> We have EMS responding. >> Whatever she sprayed is that all over my glasses, burning my face, my mouth. >> Hold on. Did it come out of a bottle or >> squirt gun? It looked like >> a squirt gun. Okay. Were they like dressed up? And >> she Yeah, she was wearing weird clothes >> like a Halloween costume. >> Yeah. I don't know if anybody else was with her. I only saw her. But she she apparently following and screaming at my friend. So she said, "Hey, this >> No, my friend." She said, "Hey, there's somebody screaming and find they're pointing a gun at me. I'll be there in a minute." I said, "I'll be out front." >> Okay. >> So I I was standing on the porch staying out of it. My friend pulled up. The lady came out of the street. Y you and then turned around and came back. and she stopped here and kept screaming at her. >> So my friend was filming it. So I walked over calmly and I said, "Ma'am, I said I said, "Ma'am, you need to relax. Stop screaming at people." I said, "Road rage is a bad idea." She started shooting me in the face with a squirt gun. I flicked a cigarette at her and ran. >> Well, I didn't run. I ran around back and called 911 and gave the place. >> So it also happened to your neighbor. >> I understand. But did the did the uh suspect also shoot your neighbor? >> No, my friend. She went up like with the to try to film us. She started shooting at her. Her face burn. I'm lucky I had the glasses, but now they're probably I need them. >> Yeah. Do you have an ID also? >> Yes, ma'am. >> So she So he sprayed her or you first >> to her. >> Okay. So she was out here. >> My friend came here, >> right? >> Got out of her car with her dog and was walking towards there. This lady pulled in. Well, she went by her cuz I saw it. She said it was I said the white SUV. She said, "Yeah." A minute later, she pulled him down the road yelling out And then she turned around, came back and stopped and she didn't have the window. She kept giving the finger and pointing pointing. Then she put the window down and started screaming. So that's when I came out of the porch. I literally calmly walked up to her. I said, "Ma'am, you need to stop screaming. You need to just move along." God damn you. I said, "Ma'am, road rage is a bad idea." I started squirting it into my face. I was probably this far from the window. So I just squirting it. I >> flicked my cigarette and took off behind the car and called 911. >> Okay. And then you they already have the vehicle pulled over. >> I if you knew how she was dressed, I assumed you did. >> So >> I want to press charges of whatever the charges of shooting me in the face with a costic acid. >> Yeah, >> that's pretty that's like a I don't know how firming. I mean >> it's it's a crime. >> It's pretty. >> So yeah. Yeah. And um yeah, it helps that we already have them. >> I don't know if it's assault, if it's battery, if it's attempt. I don't know. IT'S DEFINITELY BATTERY >> BECAUSE SHE SHOT YOU with it >> and it looked what's appeared to be a gun pointed what looked like a gun to ME AND FIRED IT. >> When you say When you say appeared to look like a gun, was it like black in color? What color was >> I think it was red. >> Red plastic like a toy spray gun. >> I thought it was water at first and then it started to burn. >> Right. I understand. Okay. >> Yeah. I'm not sure what it was. It could have been some sort of like Well, it wasn't under pressure. Pepper spray is is an error. So >> I know you never know. They could have sprayed it with it. I'm just saying >> whatever that brown was and whatever did that to the surface of my glasses, which >> those are expensive. Those are my Those are my That sunglasses. >> Understand? Yep. >> I know it's not. I'm just >> No, it's It should not happen. I I completely understand. >> Okay, just quickly go through what happened today from start to end. >> I was driving I was driving here from my house. Um traffic's already bad. I mean, literally the traffic's been bad since today. Just um she uh I don't know. She she tried cutting me off or she did cut me off, but uh uh she was following me. I have a recording. She was threatening me. Um she tried running me off the road. She did, I think, at one point, run me off the road at the at an intersection at the lights back here. Um, I I got to my destination and [snorts] she drove past and then she came back and she was trying to threaten to get out like to fight me. So, I approached her vehicle and she squirted she sprayed something at me with like a like a squirt gun. Was she saying anything to you when this happened about why or? >> Uh, yeah, she was calling me. She was calling me a math ad. She was um she was uh she was threatening to fight me. She wanted to fight me. She uh I mean it's in the recording and what she was saying, I believe. I hope it is anyway. But yeah. Yeah. I just from what I just she was threatened to shoot me at one point and she did. Um, dozer. Come on. I mean, that's that's that's really it. It's just road rage. Okay. >> It was just road rage and she's >> That's all right. Do you wish to add, change, or delete anything from the statement you just given me? >> Uh, no. No. That's the best of my knowledge. That's what happened. I mean, I I just I I don't understand how why. >> So, it is going to hurt for a little bit. Okay. Make sure you're facing the air. >> Okay. So, face. >> No. Face to face towards me. You got to face towards the air cuz that's what's going to help open all your pores and try to get everything out faster. Okay. Warm >> 1458. >> Dish soap kind of water like baby soap. A little bit. Not a lot. Okay. And that will help. Okay. Don't Don't just breathe. >> Oh yeah. And it's just it's on top of everything else. That's all. >> Just breathe. Okay. Cuz it'll make you hyperventilated. It'll make it really bad where you can't feel like you can breathe. It's depending. [clears throat] Okay. All right. [snorts] It will it will go away. It takes time. Okay. When you take a shower, don't stand straight up. That stuff goes straight down. >> You got what I'm saying? >> That's the last. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Sir, you understand? When you shower, >> don't stand straight up. It goes down. >> You let it. >> Cuz if it goes down, you know where it's going. It's not and it's going to get a second you're going to get a second hit of it down there. Okay? So, lean forward over it. Okay? >> If you have a fan, sit in front of a fan. It'll help open everything up and get it out. >> You probably should go get in my shower. >> Okay. All right. >> Because she I went she clipped my car as we were driving. She got into a turn lane to cut me off and clipped the car. So, I wanted to pull over and get her information cuz she wouldn't pull over. So, I did. And I followed her to where she pulled in and I said, "You clipped my car." I said, "I need your information." And she said her to her dog dozer to get up here, did this to my car, and had the dog jump up here. And then she was leaning into my car. So I got her father walked up to my car and said to get the out of here before he takes care of me. And then she started kicking the side of the car. Okay. Do me a favor. Just for right now, step out of the vehicle and we'll just have you stand back over on the grass. over here right >> to get his gun. So I pulled out from that area. >> So who's the other who's this girl? Is it the girl that supposedly sightwiped you? >> The girl. She was back here. I felt what felt like she hit the side of the vehicle because she literally got into a turn lane that she should not have been on. And she literally slip me out of the road to where I almost hit another car. So I thought she hit the car. I wanted to get her information cuz I thought we had touched because she did.
