On December 5th, 2025, officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at a residence. Based on the sounds heard in the background, the situation appeared to involve a possible domestic disturbance. Got it. Hello. Madison, you're daughter? Uh, what's going on tonight? So, we got in a disagreement, and then she booked it. After I turned off her phone, she took my phone. I was like, "You're not taking my phone." And she was really aggressive with me. She tried to go out the back door, I stopped her. She didn't like that. She went out the front door, I stopped her, and then finally she ran out the front door. Fine, go. All right. Do you want her back tonight? Okay. Um, she apparently got 3017. Who's Who lives there? 3017? >> Yeah. Like the neighbor, one of one of the neighbors. >> Okay, do you know where that is? I've no idea. Okay. So, was there any physical violence tonight? >> no, no. She wasn't nice to me. I tried to take her phone from her. I turned it off, she didn't like it. She came and took my phone, and was aggressive towards me when I tried to stop her from leaving the house. Okay. Um, did she get pushed down the stairs or anything like that? >> No, I took my phone from her, and then I still barely got it to call you guys. >> Okay. So, no nothing physical occurred No. uh, other than you just getting your phone back. All right. Um, what is your name? Emily. Emily. All right. Um, once my partner gets here, we'll go down that address, talk to her. Which one is it? Uh, 3017. Let's see. 711. It's probably either the second one down there or the one with the light on. She going to tell me anything different? >> She's not going to want to talk to me, and everything is different. Always her and them. Okay, I got you. Did she make any statements of self-harm or anything like that? She I have called and tried to get help for that. She's in a mental hospital. We actually the hospital something for that. >> Okay. Did she say anything tonight when she left about anything like that? Um she was really sad and concerned and she wanted to go to a basketball game for her friend and she couldn't do that and was mad and everything's so hard and I get it I don't know why. Like I'm sorry it's hard and things can't always happen. Like >> Hard for everyone right now. It doesn't really matter what age or situation you're in. All right. Yeah, we'll go there and talk to her. If you want to go back in and stay warm. Um so you're Emily, correct? You don't have to be cold either though. We can be cold together. I'm glad that she didn't go that far. Like And this is a thing too. Like what what at what point does like her running away from me like what point do I be like It is really cold. What is it like I said you can go inside. I'm just waiting for my partner to get here at this point. Is it the one on the end? It's either the one at the end or the one with the light on. I'm not sure. I have to go there and look in a minute. Hi. I'm doing good. How are you doing? I'm fine. >> [snorts] >> Here, let me get you some socks to wear. >> [snorts] >> What's going on today? I don't know. She didn't say anything but she never lied to the department. She called you guys. She's trying to act like I didn't do it. [laughter] Okay. [snorts] Don't let her leave me. Oh, I don't know. >> Why [snorts] you bleeding? It was my mom, I think. Yeah, it was. It was her. Okay. That's from the cabinet. That was my mom. Okay, just now. >> to get her off of me. All right. Is she Is she Was Has she been drinking tonight? Okay. Um Do you need to see a medic for your hand? I don't know. Do you have your inhaler with you? Do you want Do you want to Do you need it right now? Okay. >> back inside. Do you want to speak with the doctor? >> [snorts] >> No? Okay. I need you to walk me through a little bit about what exactly happened, okay? All night she's been doing it. She just yells at me because I was upset. And I didn't want a doctor cuz every single time I talked to her, she didn't listen. She doesn't listen. She just yells at me because I'm upset. >> [laughter and snorts] >> I just went to my room and she was already mad. I mean, I thought I didn't want to do the Christmas tree tonight. And I told [laughter] her that we could just do it. But I didn't care and [clears throat] that was fine. And she didn't want to do it and she just kept yelling. So I went upstairs and she called me and told me to go upstairs. So I came downstairs and I tried to eat and she just kept yelling [clears throat] at me and getting in my face. And then she like went She went to go hit the dog. I didn't want her to hit my dog. So I told her to stop. And she just kept yelling at me and she I came up to me and she got in my [laughter] face again. I told her to just leave me alone. And she wouldn't even let me eat dinner. She told me to go upstairs. >> [laughter] >> And I was about to go upstairs. But I just wanted to finish eating first. And she just kept like coming at me and she just wouldn't stop. When I like went back to like go upstairs, she turned off my phone. And she always does that when she's going to do something. She always turns off my phone so I can't call you guys. >> [laughter] >> Now I can't call anybody. So I was scared and then >> [laughter] >> It's ordered. So what point did this happen? What is that? I took her phone so I could call you guys cuz I was scared she was going to use something and then she did. She grabbed me. She wouldn't get off of me and I kept like moving my body to get her off of me. >> [laughter and gasps] >> And then I tried to go upstairs and then she dragged me down the stairs and I hit my head. Okay, what did you hit your head on? I don't know. I think one of the stairs. Okay. She wouldn't get off me and then I just like I dropped her down the stairs. And then [snorts] I tried to call you guys and she just kept coming after me. And then I got by the door and she tried to swing me around so I took off my shoes and I took off my socks cuz I kept like sliding around and I kept telling her to get off of me. And I fell. And she just like kept snatching at me. She wouldn't get off me. >> [laughter] >> So I pushed her away from me. I told her to get off me and I just kept trying to push her off of me and she wouldn't get off. >> [snorts] >> What does your other wrist look like, sweetie? I don't know. Like I know she like scratched me a little bit like on my arms. I don't know. I just like felt it. >> [snorts] >> Do you have any other marks on you do you think? Do you know where else she grabbed you? >> [snorts] >> Where did you hit your head at? Like right here. I don't know. Right here. Like the back of my head hurts, too. Hello, it's us again. So other officers are talking to her right now. Um she apparently she called grandma and Stacy's here. Yeah, now she needs to come home. There's like a whole court order thing. She sees her grandma on Sunday. Okay. And you don't want her to go anywhere tonight to alleviate the situation. She's in town. Okay. We'll let her know. Yeah, you want to go let them know? Okay. What we got going on in the meantime? Huh? >> What we got going on in the meantime, you guys think? Mom says she's got to come home. >> [snorts] >> So, what happened there? Mom scratched me. Your mom scratched you? So, I mean, dude, this is messy. So, here's here's the problem. If she is trying to get away from mom and mom grabs her, that in of itself is not domestic violence, right? But, she's got scratches and and and she she is bleeding. Is that because she's pulling away or because mom is abusing her? Or was she trying to take mom's phone and mom was trying to get it back? Or she was trying to get her own phone back like mom said. You know what I mean? But, she says that she used to keep trying to get her phone back to call us when stuff gets like this. So, there's been We've been out here on multiple times and it's been code code two. Well, I mean, it's going to be a code one. We can't keep letting her this girl down. I mean, I >> Not necessarily saying an arrest, but we have to do something. Well, there's going to be at minimum There's going to be a I mean, we can do a referral. I don't have an issue with that. But, I do not feel comfortable letting this girl stay stay with her. What legal authority do we have to remove her? I mean, we don't, but That's the problem. C47, right? She has been before. Let's ask her. Ask her. No cell phone today, but she took off her hoodie and there's more marks. She has a big Um it's not bruised yet, but it looks like they're like a a hard grab. Um there's a mark here and then there's like a mark on the back of her neck. I asked her if mom choked her. She said she grabbed her hoodie which kind of restricted her breathing, um but she didn't feel like she was getting choked. She couldn't breathe when her mom was sitting on top of her. But I'm trying to call balls on this one. Yeah. That's kind of like why we're why we're calling you on it, cuz it's it's messy. What do you guys think? Well, we were both we were bouncing on both sides of it. Um, corporal punishment versus DV and assault. Um, but it based on whose story you follow. Each each injury is plausible. I mean, if they were grabbing at each other trying to get phones back, I mean, naturally you're going to catch each other with your nails. But if you go since you know, sitting on her, scratching the back of her neck, yanking her down the stairs, Well, did did the neighbors hear anything? No. The problem I mean, the problem is though, she she does have injuries on her. >> Yeah, she has they are They are visible injuries, so it's like I I this is a tough one. I mean, Code one for sure regardless, but What's mom's demeanor about the whole thing? >> She's calm. Um, I would say she is 10-19 though. >> 10-19, but not like blackout 10-19. Like, is she upset that her daughter called? Like Nah, she just wants her daughter to come back home. She won't let her daughter go with anybody else. Um, I questioned her and she said nothing happened other than they were just grabbing at each other and then she tried to walk out several times and she held her back. Okay, do one more follow up with mom and be like, Okay, these are the injuries she has, how could she have got these? Or this is what she's saying, why would she say that? Did something along those lines happen? Is it possible like you were trying to not let her go up the stairs and she tripped and fell down? Like, see if she'll give you anything else that allows her to change her original story. All right. All right. So, I'll talk to Madison in a little bit. How did she get all that blood on her hand? What do you mean? She has a whole bunch of cuts on her on her hands and they're bleeding significantly. She I mean I don't I have no idea. Okay. She also has two significant arms marks on each bicep. What what could that be from? From me grabbing her when she was trying to run out of the house. Okay. Now she's saying that you dropped her down the stairs and she hit her head. I did not drop her down the stairs. You have no idea how she got the marks on her hands. I have no idea. Okay. How did she get the mark on her neck? I don't know. At any point did you grab her hoodie? The back of it, yeah. Okay. At any point did you sit on top of her? No. So so what is going to be a solution for for this? Because I keep coming back out here. Okay. And I keep getting same allegations from and then the same allegations from you. Yet you you say that she's unruly and that you can't control her, but you refuse to to find another solution. So what do we think a solution is? All turn. I think that she should go to a halfway house. I think it's a more thing for children to like children's hospital. Like she should go to a halfway house. Like that was the if she runs away again, this is what she does. She feels so unsafe here with me and this is what happens. There is a Why does she feel unsafe here? >> [snorts] >> I tell her no. She has rules. I mean I like I don't know. >> So your statement in your story has gaps in it. It doesn't make sense. Okay. Your daughter has marks on her. Okay? That is consistent with her falling. Whether she was fell down the stairs, whatever it is. Did she slip and fall? Did you grab her and she slipped and fell? Like it's explain that to me because it doesn't make sense. >> I don't know. I really don't know. I don't know. I know that there we argue so much all the time and literally when she was like gone I was like fine. Your your daughter is running away from the residence that she does not feel safe in and she goes to a neighbor because that's pretty much the only place that she feels that she can go and that she can get away. Okay, here's the situation right now. Okay, you're going to be under arrest for domestic violence. Okay? Can you put your hands behind your back and interlace your fingers? >> [snorts] >> All right. Sit down. Just come over here. Yep, so we'll walk down this way. There's blood in in this now like she hurt herself before she even got outside. Where? So why did you hold it up just now? Where? Right there. I mean it looked red. Turn that off. So why are you turning it >> it off because this is what's going to make me see it. Like well, I thought I saw it. Like I don't know. I did not I did All right, we're we're done. All right, let's go. Your daughter has marks on her. There's a difference between corporal punishment and grabbing your daughter harder than I'm grabbing you. I have marks on me, too. Where? From her? Cuz there's looks like there's blood leaking in your armpit. >> [snorts] >> So is that from My armpit. Like you're not going to be able to see it because there's hair. I don't care about your hair. I'm not You're not bleeding in your armpit. >> this. I'm not doing this. She didn't hurt me. All right, let's go. Huh? You care not to answer? Okay. Do you have anybody that can come get him? All right. The woman was charged with domestic violence, assault, and endangering children. The case is still pending.
