oh gosh how did we get into this mess
let's take a look this is minnesota
safety police are already on scene due
to several crashes when this black
hatchback middle of your screen is going
to go full winter olympics on us with a
180 degree slide and they landed pretty
decently without running into anyone

is going to get out of there but it's

half dozen cars involved in this one in
just a matter of minutes and it starts
with this gray jeep it continues to be a
very cold and snowy winter in minnesota

temperatures are the real story with
daily temps getting regularly below zero
and a high temp of maybe four to seven
degrees on most days which makes salt
largely ineffective and creates
situations where roads frequently freeze
with little notice and the ice can be
pretty hard to see we had one car that
slid off while the police were on scene
now we have two more each off on each
side of the road take a look at this
black suv which wildly over corrected

and we try not to give drivers too hard
of a time but we know that cars are off
the road here the driver got out and sat
down right basically what i'd call the
line of fire this red suv is going to be
the fourth or fifth vehicle off-road and
thankfully goes to the right avoiding
the pedestrian in the center median who
has their back to traffic suv is going
to roll over and that is thankfully the
most gentle rollover i've ever seen this
is minnesota so one vehicle is going to
stop and check on them and looks like
we've got one two maybe three people
coming in there tell your folks hi
welcome police arriving on scene but
before they do we've got yet another car
this time a grey sedan that's going to
slide off and good awareness by the
trucker watch this to avoid a collision
which really would have made a mess of
that situation police wisely go over to
the right side of the road to check on
that roll over first as part of a triage
procedure ambulance now arriving on
scene within a couple minutes thankfully
it seems we really got pretty lucky
under the circumstances and for what
it's worth we really think this is a
pretty vulnerable position on the left
there sitting down on the side of the
freeway in the median where cars are
actively sliding off like subscribe and
share we've got a lot of content like
this and a whole lot more on the way
