the worst part about it is right now i'm
sober
i could probably do this
sfts that probably won't pass right now
but
because i'm sober
now after what i did
trying to with a car
well it's only been like about five
minutes
twelve minutes
[Music]
health watches by six
help getting out or what well
a little bit
[Music]
hey
wait is this car going to tip more wait
wait wait wait wait
hold on we don't want the car to roll on
us
right okay lee
what's
going home
apparently one aren't you
let's hold the door from the other side
if we can
lee i think you should move
lee move
i don't want the car to roll anymore
i don't know it was
here move out of the way what do you
want me to do
just
he's not hurt so just the door watch the
door
just hold on to it i'm not sure
hold on
i'm afraid it's going to roll
further i've got a chain in my truck i
can always
do
hold on i just i don't want you to
i think
[Music]
115
[Music]
[Applause]
i'm gonna need another 46 this way
come on out if you can
do you have shoes on yeah okay
okay wait get your other leg out in case
you've got a bail yeah
okay
okay i'm going to knock the door watch
your hand move away from the vehicle
all right let's
you all right i'm fine
i'm a little drunk
okay i'll be honest
okay here's my dad's my daughter's
wedding
i was going home
no
where were you driving from home
where is that
no but where were you driving from
um from alley
okay
can you stand here minutely yes
so it's dominant 46 is wanting to know
from dyspo who he's now like the
assistant county manager yeah
so
is this something that we should have
another agency he so anyway we got him
out of the car and he just said
he's a little drunk
do we should we have well our state
police
okay call the us
all right bye
what kind of vehicle is it should be
tracks okay
a 115 house it's a chevy tracks or did
you already tell them
okay
i didn't give them
so i gotta get some photos
i had to teddy's gonna
where do you live at
mind is connected right away
do you want to go ahead to your call
no that up
okay
23 were you direct
i'm direct house i'm 53 from here go 76
to 140 hey just don't go on the road
right now just
stay right there
uh
somebody banging on a door oh [ __ ]
do you want me just have the 55 just
come out and no no
did you hit your head or anything no
i'm just going to look at your head 123
thousand it's all the air bags deployed
i know okay
i'm totally fine
i swear to god d7 140
no i you know i wouldn't adjust you
well i don't know no i'm done
go ahead
i'm trying to give you that 21. are you
hold on
okay
all right
all right
okay
um just right when you turn um
you know what
when you turn right on lower loss
colonias after you go through the little
straight away
where you either go left toward straight
arrow
you turn right and
it's right there
yeah
okay all right
[Applause]
affirmative
28 is
adam sam george john 1 9.
so dominic i gotta ask you questions
about the crash
i don't really have any choice
um and
this camera goes
so before i
before i start going into questions i
is just protocol we have to
redo your miranda okay
you have the right to remain silent if
you give up that right anything you say
can be used against you in court you
have the right to talk to a lawyer
now and have him or her present during
questioning
if you cannot afford a lawyer one will
be appointed to you at no cost if you
decide to answer any questions now
without a lawyer present
you still have the right to stop
answering at any time you also have the
right to stop answering at any time
until you talk to a lawyer
do you understand yes okay
so do you want to tell me what happened
around the corner
car was coming at me
i hit that thing
i don't know what it is that thing right
there yes
so you came around this corner and we're
heading that way yes i'll go home
okay
and the car's coming right at me
i want to avoid him
and i didn't know that was a
whatever that is
still barrier or whatever
don't hit it okay
how much have you had to drink
i've had about about
i'm not gonna lie my daughter got
married tonight uh-huh
that's a where
that's gonna be the telus country club
yes okay and i drank with her
sad i don't know
five or seven beers a couple shots
and how long ago was that
um
it's almost two in the morning
so
it's probably about 5 11
11
yeah and so after
where were you at 11
at the country club yes
and then where were you after that to
the alley after that okay did you drink
at the alley yes i did okay
i had one i had one drink
okay
so you had five to seven beers and a
couple of shots total
and
at the alley
one drink at the alley yes
and that was uh right before you
came out this way like how long
uh 20 minutes half an hour
okay
maybe 20 minutes
okay
okay not through
like after sugarling
okay
all right we'll just wait there a minute
[Applause]
um
drivers saying he does not have injuries
but the airbags did deploy so
could you send a 55 out here anyway just
to check them out
yeah since the airbags went off
for 20 years guys
you guys know me i know but
i'm [ __ ] up tonight okay
we do uh the sfsts
guys
my career is [ __ ]

sfsts
i'm sorry guys
i was dead
yeah i
i'm sorry too this sucks
it does suck
it's my bad
that's one favor so these these are my
dad's
i wore these for my dad tonight because
my my daughter came here tonight
tells
her
i was there
it's my bad
the guy
[ __ ]
i was
i avoided an accident he's coming at me
hit the [ __ ] thing
i understand
but i'm not gonna put you guys in
predicament
well i mean
we already are in a predicament but we
have to do what we have to do i don't
have
you know i don't know it sucks but i
know it sucks
it sucks
wow
what am options
well
you can do the sfsts
i probably won't do it
i won't
i can try
either way at this point i'm probably
gonna have to take you in
based on
the situation so far
the the watch the in the ring
okay so please take care of the phone
well they could go with you
no no no
i want you to take care of ted okay
because this is you know
you know
and i was
i was deputy kind of manager for two
months
if you want to
you don't have to stand up if you're not
you know you're not injured okay well
we're gonna
we're gonna i'm not i swear to god okay
well the ambulance is coming anyway no
don't bring it i don't because
okay
because that was my son's knife because
the airbags did deploy here's uh
these are my daughters oh it's my darts
no hold on
hold on
because she got married tonight
i'm such an idiot dude
i'm such an idiot
there's a lot of money here too like 200
i think
let's see
we can just leave it and put it we'll
log it down as your property
oh guys
i hate to put you guys in
i'm so sorry
oh
[ __ ]
i wish you guys take me home
but i know you can't yeah just hold on
your wallet for now
because there is a lot of cash right now
my phone's in there somewhere
okay well we're gonna i don't want to
mess with the vehicle anymore because
the position that's in but
get it from the
favor okay
please don't but hank has been back
i can put him in the front
all right and then i'll be there [ __ ]
for [ __ ] 12 hours let's go
just stay here stay here
careful
okay
do you have the
consent yeah i do
grab it okay
i'm fired for my job
so you won't do the sfst sfsts why would
they jump
it's up to you but i'm going to fail
okay normally fail all right
i can try
i'm gonna fail you know i'm gonna fail
i was a cop for 20 years i know
let's come over to this side stay out of
the room
no report here
here just stop
hold on 53 from here 76 back to
[Applause]
[Applause]
so you're not going to do the sf st's no
okay
[Applause]
all right i i'll let you do them in the
front
but i need you to put your hands up
[Applause]
[Applause]
oh is that one crooked yeah
here lower your hands
yeah let's bring them on i'm not gonna
fight oh i
we have to have them on
okay
so
here let go of it for a minute
[Applause]
this looks so bad
this is
[Applause]
the worst part was i was fighting a
volume
[Applause]
so where did you over correct
your vehicle
[Applause]
really sorry
are you able to step in it's kind of a
high step
there's something to grab onto
right there
okay
[Applause]
all right dominic
i have to read this to you verbatim
listen to me i'm about to tell you
something important you're under arrest
for dwi
the new mexico implied consent act
requires you to submit to a breath test
to determine the alcohol content of your
blood
content of your blood
after you take our test you have the
right to choose an additional
independent test
if you choose to take this additional
independent test you have the right to a
reasonable opportunity to arrange for a
physician a life licensed nurse or
laboratory technician or technologist
who is employed by a hospital or
physician of your own choice to perform
an additional chemical test
the cost of this additional test will be
paid by the law enforcement agency
do you agree to take our test yes yes
okay
all right
um just did you hold on there you got my
phone yes
[Applause]
i'll take them real quick yeah
[Applause]
we're still waiting for the 55
just come and check you out
i'm fine
i know but
all the airbags went off
so
[Applause]
i'm just checking in on you i'll be back
in a minute
[Applause]
i wait for the 55 to get here just to
check them out yeah and then i'll start
the death time okay and so are
our machines not working
no we have to go to pd so let me get on
the phone right away okay
i actually didn't even pat search him
yet
he had emptied out his pockets but i
needed to do that in his knife and
i mean i don't know if there was a
vehicle in the roadway but i bet you
came around
looks like he came around kind of fast
well
see he rolled so that's why i said he
had overcorrected yeah
he had to
over corrected
[Applause]
like twice and then
[Applause]
[Music]
don't fall down
you still have your wallet in your
pocket there yeah okay
let me um
let me i just need to get your license
out
ted
hold on i'll call him over
[Applause]
hey teddy
[Applause]
well i probably lit no corporate company
i'm good
i know i know i know i know what i did i
i'm the worst part about this right now
i'm sober
i could probably do this
sfts that probably won't pass right now
but
because i'm sober
now after what i did
trying to with a car
well it's only been like about five
minutes
no about you about 12
12 minutes
but you're you're realizing the
the effect
it's okay it's okay i understand
i don't i mean you know what ted
it's the uh is the insurance you know me
is the insurance center coverage yeah
yes
[Applause]
so the medics are going to look at you
why
because the airbags went off so i just
want them to
my license i'm going to need your
license so that we can do that yeah i
have it
so
i thought you were asking for it back
i'll give it back in a while just to
call ted for me
teddy
here i'll hold on to it
there's a lot of money in there i know
you have the 200 in there yes you won't
lose that
um he's saying he's not injured but all
the airbags went off okay so just want
to have him checked
[Applause]
that's great you go down yeah you can go
ahead and step out
but he said he did not hit his head or
anything but we'd just like to have you
you need to find my phone oh please hi
oh sorry go ahead a little cut there but
that's a bit but
[Applause]
did you find his phone yeah okay
we can ask you for one one favorite
what's winner yeah okay call my daughter
i can call her
do you want to talk to her
yes
hello hi she got married tonight
[Applause]
[Applause]
the airbags went off so we just wanted
to
have him check it was the only cost was
the jail will not accept anybody
[Applause]
that's all right
[Music]
[Applause]
[Applause]
yeah and the windshield is
shattered but probably yeah
[Applause]
[Music]
did you get all the pd by chance yeah uh
well
[Applause]
and that's the insurance
if she answers
[Applause]
try it again
[Applause]
[Applause]
so dominic i just need to make sure you
don't have anything else in your pockets
okay
so if you can just turn while you're
doing this
[Applause]
[Applause]
is
[Music]
yeah so go ahead and get in
yeah um watch
i have your wallet and the money
hold on to that thing i'm not gonna like
like 200 yes
well
i think it was 200.
i don't know i'll hold your flashlight
for you here i got it okay
[Applause]
so go ahead and get in use that
can you can you use the uh
what about that handle there okay so i
need you to open up your mouth
open up your mouth because we're gonna
take you to get a test so
ah
open it up
like don't take it stick your tongue out
at first just put your tongue back in
[Applause]
okay
so i'm gonna head towards
[Music]
[Music]
oh
is
hmm
[Music]
is that zero one seven or zero seven
point zero one seven
no no that was just the counter oh
okay okay
i was like um excuse me
sorry what was that the kell checkers
right i know i
saw him
i
saw him writing that down and i didn't
know it was in that column
[Music]
no yeah
[Music]
yeah i just i i got a screen there's
three on the printer oh okay thanks
misery
don't know what's happening
i was just i was just wondering how
how to print
no no no okay oh
call my daughter okay
yeah how's the car for 20 years i know
so take care of me at abc
because i can fight
but i don't have to [ __ ] deal with
that well we don't want you to have to
deal with that
no
what are the times
i mean
sorry guys
well it's your
you're the one's gonna have to deal with
it of course
but i know you guys feel for me a little
bit it sucks for yeah
but we
just it's funny because just get through
the tonight so that was my daughter's
wedding
yeah i didn't know that that's who was
getting married um somebody said
dominic
more expensive on the wedding or yeah
i'd pay for the whole thing
and now like this
i think you're saying those at the
office um well you have to sign these
because you're the operator
so the medics looked at him do you think
i can just
try to take him to abc
well they won't accept him
because of how
the way they are at abc it's it's
they'll accept me did taylor have
i lose my job on monday it was it was a
crash but he
was
alone
oh
um
because of my past
and i'll get it right home
i promise
or you can i would have to i would have
to clear that
with the media well we still have to go
over there i understand understand but
it's gonna be a fight do i just put a
line or do you want to just put a line
through that third sample
so i'm not asking for special
consideration i think that's my plan
yeah
i'm sexy for a little bit
well let's go over there and see what
they say
um
yeah and take it from there
if they're gonna
they have their own process and they
don't i know i know but call just travis
i will
you know just asking for me you got
those three copies
taylor
taylor needs oh
yeah of this yeah yeah got it all right
thank you
but we still have to
i understand that
i can get into right yes
but ask jerry if you can [ __ ] talk to
emilio right because i'm gonna be in the
[ __ ] in there with those guys yeah i
know i know
i [ __ ] up tonight i'm i admit to what
i did
but i just wanna i don't wanna have to
be a [ __ ] jail
with a bunch of [ __ ] idiots right
well they can keep you
separate too
