[Music]
1818 columbus police check 122.
um yes can i have a police dispatch to
my address please what's the address
1441 south champion avenue
1441 south champion
yes
what's going on
well we have these people
doing our roof or whatever and my whole
house is flooded and they just it's just
a disaster really they're not helping us
um
yeah
okay
and it's just a mess really they don't
want to help us do nothing really and um
you know it's just i just need to please
here so they can take note of this
because my house is completely flooded
from the rain
okay
any violence between you guys in the
construction company
uh yeah a little bit
how so
well because you know my boyfriend he's
yelling at them so it's not really his
fault because they're not compromising
with us they're just like okay well
we'll get it fixed tomorrow tomorrow i
have two small kids here is anybody
having their hands on each other
no
okay any weapons that you're aware of
ma'am
we don't have any
okay and you haven't seen any on them
no
yeah i don't care okay this is just a
disaster okay i'll just tell you the
story my roof is supposed to be getting
done you know it started raining so my
whole house is completely flooded
now these are the people
these are the people that were supposed
to be doing it okay and they act like
they don't really want to compensate us
to fix it or whatever that's not they're
going to put us in a hotel tonight and
tomorrow
it's just crazy but that's a civil issue
there's nothing that police could do
about it oh okay well i wouldn't know
that no you could take a police officer
down that was the contract please report
for what
i'm just trying to keep it honest i'm
upset you know what i'm saying they're
supposed to do the roof they didn't
complete it they got paid but again
that's a and it leaked through and
[ __ ] up all our [ __ ] i know but i'm
just saying that's a civil issue that's
something you'd have to sue them
i don't got to make a report on it
it would have to be a police like what
kind of report would you expect me to
take i don't know we don't know the
police work we're not you let's see
i didn't come here to give you an
attitude
i don't
so again you would have to talk to them
and it sounds like they're trying to put
you up in a hotel right until then
my [ __ ] is [ __ ] up i got my wife and
my kids in here okay and they ain't
looking happy
i'm so sweaty look at me man i'm upset
or that you'd have to walk in there and
see that [ __ ] it's [ __ ] up okay i got
valuables well you'd have to well i just
i gave it a chance but you'd have to sue
them and then they should be licensed
and insured i just want to see what
happens
the only the
okay so today while the guy was on the
roof
it started pouring down yeah
yeah before he started pouring down you
see he tried to cover it with the top
okay knowing that part of the roof
wasn't done yet
so it leaked through okay fine i came
over here they called me i said look let
me put you in the hotel tonight for two
days tonight and tomorrow so we can
figure out what's going on and we'll
talk to the owner and we'll get
everything taken care of
okay okay that's that's that's that's
alright
my insurance company put a claim in for
you and get all your valuables taken
care of
that sounds reasonable but he's out here
going off on this yeah
okay i got you and i have to go to the
hotel i told them i was on the way to
the hotel on south high street to pay
for the room because it's in my credit
card they want to see me personally i
can't do it all the time
i gotcha he's trying to keep me from
leaving
so i said i'll wait for the police to
come and explain it to him
all right
sir i have no doubt that you are upset i
would be upset
huh i'm just trying to do it the right
way i know
but after talking to him he said he's
he's already talking to him can you can
i talk to you about it you ain't talking
right now this is how am i not talking
about i'm trying to explain to you what
he just told me what'd he tell you so he
said he's already contacted he ain't
leaving he is not leaving he got a gun
in that truck under the seat and it's
not registered how do you know it's not
registered because i know it for a fact
i told him like i wouldn't go tell the
details all right but look
i ain't now calling the police again i'm
trying to explain to you what happened
get the [ __ ] out of here sucker
all right man ma'am
get the [ __ ] out my land get the [ __ ]
out of here i never call you again
you're a [ __ ] okay get off me baby i'm
sorry
he was a hoe man why the right way man
but he's talking to the uh he's talking
to the owner of the house and he's
his insurance is going to pay for this
the damage inside his job i know and
he's already talked to the owner of the
house
and
no he said he did not you believe
everything somebody but his the owner is
the one who contacted him for the room
but the owner contacted him right did
you guys choose him or did the owner
choose him owner exactly so he's already
been in contact with the owner and he
asks
we might not never see them again we
don't know what the deal is but that's
your owner is the one
who contracted them so you can even talk
to your owner and your owner should have
to cover the damage inside but he has
insurance [ __ ] and remember i said that
obviously
why are you acting like this i didn't do
it why because this is
a non-criminal act
it was a [ __ ] man that's why we don't
call y'all that's why we'll trust you
that's why we don't like y'all i get all
the way in your face you hear me
i know these rules now y'all over
pleased us all this [ __ ] time
okay well you have a good day
