pulled over by the police
and in it he stated the police were
trying to plant drugs on him and trying
to frame him for a crime
this 14 second clip completely lacked
context and doesn't tell the story of
what was actually happening
the unfortunate thing about clips like
this is that they go viral
and they're used by people who have an
agenda
against the police videos like this one
are particularly powerful
because they can fool a lot of people
who actually support the police
one person who i tend to follow
and i think he normally has an open mind
about things

video on twitter
demanding that the officer be arrested
he did this without having context and
with no idea what was actually going on
there were several other pages and
places where i saw
a very similar message posted
unfortunately
those have been taken down and i was not
able to get screenshots of them
the good thing about this incident is
that the officers were wearing body
cameras
and the city or the village of caledonia
wisconsin
very promptly made that body camera
footage
available for the public so what you'll

in response to the incident when they
posted the video

vehicle
which was exceeding the speed limit by

63 miles an hour in a 45 mile an hour
zone
they had a legal reason for pulling the
people out of the vehicle
and you saw in the video that they got
consent to search
from one of the males i believe the
officer took the baggie and tossed it
into the car
because he wanted the guy in the front
seat to know that the officers
were aware there were drugs somewhere in
or around that car or at least there had
been at one point in time
i think he did this because he wanted
the front seat passenger
to maybe slip up and give some
information that he didn't intend to
because it's a lot easier to get a
conviction against somebody
when they slip up and give you
everything that you need
