police officers responding to a call in
the Westgate neighborhood of the city's
West Side residents of this neighborhood
called the police several times on this
man saying that he was high or over
overdosed and needed to be removed from
their neighborhood three different
officers responded to three different
calls for service about this mail and
each of them determined the male was
well enough to continue going about his

went to a facility in uh
aan I just now found out I had s to okay
and when they couldn't treat me there so
they sent me to the
lamb Treatment Center okay well it's
just somewhere else but when I went up
there when I went up there to uh did
other place
lmar they didn't they couldn't serve me
so I had to come here to the doctor's
best be drain again so did you go to any
actual rehab facility and actually get
treated or did you just due to your
circumstances you kind of got yourself
clean well going in and out of the
hospital going in out of the hospital
help me out lot okay good I'm just
always curious like how much of it is
like treatment how much of it is just
kind of your own 6 months of it's like
my own willpower yeah because any know
the doctors they treated
me uh well you also you get to where
you're dealing with so many other things
that it kind of takes the place of what
you were doing before right right they
help they help me with that with some uh
detox yeah that the hospital did and
then they put me on this
medic boxes or or the he tius stuff he
tius right now I once the box I how many
do you get at a time I get 14 at a time
but I didn't get many today so I got to
go to the I just went to the free store
a free place and then over how L the
boxes work you just take one a day two a
days uh sometimes
too but I mean it all depends on your
body yeah but I mean doing you good
right yeah it helps out a lot good I had
5 and A2 years clean I
whiteall and me and my girlfriend split
up he turn me pieces man yeah well and
then when you get out on the street it's
a lot harder to reject that stuff well I
mean it was a lot harder but she was

that thing is always calling your name

things and then you see your old friends
and stuff and then they try to they just

through the Y and they help you get set
up in a spot yeah they supposed to give
me a apartment and everything you know
what I mean then they're going to help
me get my Social Security finish okay
