someone um someone stole a cocoa PD car
with the gun in the back and
everything you got to be kidding
[Applause]
me you got to be kidding
me you you you an interstate highway is
turned into a high-speed racetrack with
a Cavalry of police cars hot on the tail
of hijacked SWAT car at the wheel a
fleeing suspect seemingly off his rocker
you won't believe the insane series of
events you're about to witness on
Thursday May 6th 2021 at 4:16 p.m. Coco
Police Department in Florida receive a
bizarre area dispatch one that most
police officers don't hear every day put
out
of North is
also
and 229 Coco County police officers had
responded to a report of a disturbance
near a motel when they confronted the
agitated suspect they were taken by
surprise when he managed to jump into an
unattended police patrol car and peeled
off a hijacked police cruiser is already
a law enforcement nightmare but another
concerning detail makes this particular
occurrence catastrophic someone um
someone stole a Coco PD car back car yep
with the gun in the back and everything
sitting in the back of the stolen
Cruiser are various police issued
equipment items including a firearm and
ammunition this situation is now a
public safety disaster there's no
telling what this particular suspect is
capable of going to
2495 the high octane Chase is caught on
a valua County Sheriff's helicopter
video The Suspect is seen driving
Northbound on I95 reaching top speeds of
110 mph with an our of police cruisers
close on his heels an out-of-control
vehicle manned by an erratic driver
poses countless dangers there's not a
second to waste a deputy leading the
front of the pack takes initiative
closing the gap between the stolen
Cruiser he courageously uses the
controversial pit maneuver to immobilize
the vehicle and run it off the road
safely also known as tactical ramming
and fishtailing the pit maneuver
involves stopping a fleeing vehicle by
coming up on its rear and slamming into
a back tire the Collision causes a spin
out and usually stalls the target
vehicle but not without risks under the
present circumstances police don't have
many Alternatives the heroic Deputy
braces himself and jerks the wheel
incredibly the maneuver pays off after
being rammed the hijacked Cruiser Corin
off the highway and lodges itself into a
heavily wooded area police find the
stolen Cruiser lodged in a thick cluster
of branches and bristly overgrowth it's
difficult to see at first pin in there
right now between the
trees I don't think you can get the door
trying to get the car
out the left
side I'm going to I'm going to contact
I'm going to
contact get out

protection gear officers assemble an
interlocking front line then make their
approach multiple body cams provide a
shocking nearly 360° view of the action

1031 in another Explorer Northbound are

need resources to clear
this edwat stay at this seat Edgewater
stay at this
seene it it would later be confirmed
that the suspect snatched a can of
pepper spray before ditching the mangled
Cruiser and hopping in another vehicle
police managed to tag him close range
with a taser but he must have some
pretty thick skin because he was
unaffected and still managed to thrust
the vehicle into gear and take off it's
hard to conceive of a more massive
police blunder the idling vehicle had
been left unlocked with keys in the
ignition just begging to be commandeered
judging by the officer's reactions they
are not pleased with how this Chase is
unfolding they now have to clean up a
total police car while the suspect is
back on the road in a brand new one as a
matter of fact it's more than brand new
it's an upgrade the second vehicle is a
canine unit typically used to hold
vicious police dogs and
Firearms
[Music]
halfan the suspect is now practically a
Onan militia in a reinforced metal Super
Truck officers book it back to their
vehicles and go pedal to the metal the
chase resumes again at Breakneck speed
worrying sirens light up the interstate
as police doggedly pursue the suspect's
new vehicle northwards for another 8
Miles unbeknownst to the suspect a few
miles ahead officers are preparing a
special welcome for this runaway Cruiser
they aren't going to let this lunatic
make a mockery of the law the officer is
deploying Stop Sticks a vehicle
immobilization device commonly used to
Halt fleeing Vehicles when stop sticks
are driven over at High velocities tires
are damaged and deflate gradually
allowing for a more controlled and safer
deceleration oh there he
[Applause]
goes yeah he just went past the 244
though not captured on the body cam
footage the stop sticks are a critical
success now with a leaking out of the
Rogue Cruiser's tires police and pursuit
are closing the Gap this NASCAR race is
approaching its final lap moments later
police witness the Rogue Cruiser swerve
off the highway and into a mud filled
