I'm going to take the cuffs off. Just keep facing that way. Yep. These are small ones. Where's the thing at? Oh, there it is. Get your left hand on top of your hand. >> Okay. All right. You can take a seat in there. Just going to need you to kick your shoes off. >> Thank you. Open your mouth real quick. Make sure no lift tongue. Okay, you're good. Is your mouth dry or something? If it doesn't come out, then that's fine. >> Yeah, it doesn't >> cool with that. >> Yeah, just let I'll be in here the whole time. So, >> okay. >> What am I going to be able to get out? >> So, this I have to wait 22 minutes. After 42 minutes, you can blow in the spot. >> Two good breaths samples, right? >> Two good breath samples go by. Well, I'm going to drink before any of that cuz I kind of got a dry mouth. I haven't had anything in my mouth. >> See, that's a that's we can't have you put anything in your mouth. Can't, you know, um before you blow in the box. >> So, can't have you do that, right? So, just one good deep breath, blow till the operator tells you to stop >> to twice, right? Then we're going to call as soon as that's done, whoever's going to come pick you up and come pick you up. >> All right. >> And then you're out of here. >> All right. >> All right. She said she's going to get her stepmom to come pick you up, >> I guess. >> So, yeah, she just has to sign. >> Um, I'm going to read your Miranda warning. So, just so you know your rights. >> Yeah. >> All right. So just say yes or no after each one. All right. So you have the right to remain silent and to refuse to answer any questions. Do you understand? >> Yes. >> Okay. Anything you say can maybe be used against you in the court of law. Do you understand? >> Okay. You have the right to consult with an attorney at any time and have him or her present before and during questioning. Do you understand? >> Okay. The decision to wave these rights is not final and you may withdraw your waiver whenever you wish either before or during questioning. Do you understand? Okay. >> Do you understand each of these rights if I've explained them to you? >> Yes. >> Okay. Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us now? >> No. Okay. All right, Gina. So, this is called the implied consent form. It's basically the form that you read prior to you blowing the box. It kind of tells you what we're going to do, right? And um you have to say yes or no to that. All right. So, you've been arrested for driving while intoxicated. NJSA 394-50. The law will all require you to submit samples of your breath for content. I repeat, the law requires you to submit samples of your breath for testing. Will you submit samples of of your breath? >> Yes. Is that all? >> Uh, I'm just going to go over a couple more things and then um since you invoked Miranda, I can't re ask you any of the questions on here, but that's fine. That's not a big deal. A lot of it's observation based. Oh, I think we're good questioning wise. cosmetology school, huh? >> Yeah. >> How long you did you do go to like which high school did you go to? >> Well, I went to OCBTS. >> So, that's like a vote school. >> Yes. But I'm currently enrolled. So, I currently So, I failed my first year cuz I had wisdom teeth surgery which turned into a failed surgery. Aw. >> So then I had to rethink the year and then I had to receink another year. So it ended up in me going to school for 3 years. So I have more hours than a normal student would. So I'm able to transfer my license to different states without going to more schooling. >> Nice. >> So I was trying to get a New York licensing cuz my mom has one and she's a traveling cosmetologist. So, I'm trying to get into like the fact she made a lot of more money in it. And I guess I just kind of want to kind of experience it and travel around for sure. License in a different state instead of just licensing in Jersey because kind of Jersey is just >> centralized in New Jersey. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Tra I feel like everything travel like travel nurses make more money travels involved in it. You get more money. Um, especially tips and especially the traveling money you get a lot more enjoy. >> Sure. It's pretty cool. >> Hopefully. >> Yeah. Try not to uh cough, burp, bal, or anything like that cuz I have to restart the timer every time you do that. >> Oh, >> okay. >> Yeah. I'm going to boring it. 464. Can you just restart the 22minute observation period? It's going to be 2313. What's your height? >> Uh, I think 53. I'm not sure. >> 53. Wait, how much weigh? >> I don't know. Probably like 135. >> It doesn't say on there. Says 5'5 on here. >> Oh, I may blind on that. I'm not sure. 135. Are you a natural blonde? >> Uh, yeah. I guess I was lighter when I was younger, but now I'm just >> darker. >> Blue eyes. >> I don't know. That confused me. >> Married, single, divorced. Yeah. >> You wear glasses? >> Uh, I used to. Yeah. >> Right or left-handed? Right. Where are you employed? >> The mainland from New Jersey. >> What is it? >> The mainland. >> The mainland. >> New Jersey. >> What's your occupation? Like what do you do there? >> Uh I do a lot there. So this kind of like >> What would you say your what what is the main one over there? So, the main one is a hotel, a restaurant, and like weddings and all that. Like, >> do you work primarily in the hotel or the restaurant? >> Yeah, I'm the hotel. I mainly do like the makeup and the brides and all that. >> Okay, I'll just put cosmetology. >> Yeah, that's easier. >> Do you know what the address is, the main one? >> I'm not sure. >> I can look it up. It's not Where were you? >> I was on the part right before. >> Yeah. Where were you born at? >> That's kind of an issue. I was adopted. >> I think it's over Tom River though. >> Tom Driver. >> Yeah. >> When did you get adopted? >> I was. >> Oh, so you were you were what, six when you were adopted right around then? It's pretty cool. >> What is your a next of kin? Do you know what next of ken is? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, something happened to you. Who would be notified? >> My mom. >> What's your mom's name? >> Don. >> Same last name. >> Yeah. >> I have uh siblings that were also adopted. >> Yeah. I guess it's Great. >> What's uh your >> It's a long day up to New York. >> Yeah. >> Did you guys do anything else up there while you're up there or while you were there? >> No, I was kind of halfway falling asleep on the bus and then I fell asleep on the bus and then we got to the station where we were at Tom's River Park and then decided to go home. We're going to buy a hotel, but then I realized that I had a whole bunch of stuff to do in the morning. So, >> what do you got to do? >> Well, in the morning, I had to take my autistic sister to speech and then she has to go to a doctor's appointment for I guess or she has something called on her foot. >> So, that's your sister? >> Yeah. >> How old is she? She's only eight, but she's not like my biological sister. My family adopts kids. So, >> still family. Family's family, >> I guess. So, since the car is being towed, but I still have to pay to get it out even if I blow completely clear >> technically. >> That's so stupid though. >> I agree. New Jersey. >> Yeah. >> All right. Okay. I love this state so much. >> Yep. >> Should have never crossed back. >> New Jersey. >> And how much would that be? >> Uh the same amount as a toe. >> I'm not sure. I don't want to tell you false information >> cuz I already had to pay $600 for a toe from New York City cuz I popped my tires. >> No, it's a little different. It's Well, you just have to pay the I think the overnight fees. which >> but I don't think it's crazy like like a lot like that. >> Okay. So, it wouldn't be like hundreds of dollars. >> Yeah. I don't think it's 100 like >> Okay. Thank god >> cuz I'm not >> like I said I don't want to give you false information but >> Yeah. I'm not willing to drop $600. >> Yeah. >> Again. >> Whose car is it? >> Um it's my friend. But like I guess I'm a great friend like that. Did you do you always live in the leg? >> No. Um, originally from Tom River and then I lived in Manchester and then kind of just >> bounced around a little bit. >> Yeah. >> Did you do the >> Did you do the whole foster care program prior to getting adopted? >> Yeah. How was that experience? >> Yeah, I've heard uh some brutal things about that one. >> Yeah. >> So, I have two brothers that are adopted. They >> I mean, my parents, my well, my actual parents are kind of like into certain things. That's kind of why I got taken away in the first place. My sister and I kind of had to like take care of my biological sister >> completely years. >> Same exact stuff on me. I get it. Yeah, >> a roller coaster, but it's okay. >> Yeah, I actually lived with my dad and all my siblings on my mom's side were taken away from my mom. >> My great grandmother getting all of them youngest as my mom. But then I have two brothers that my my dad's side adopted because their parents were in the same stuff. Yeah, my parents, I guess they had other kids after we got taken away. And I guess I'll never meet them, but it's okay. You know, Facebook. >> Yeah, for sure. >> Facebook's a lovely friend. >> You'll probably meet up sooner or later. >> I mean, I guess, but I guess really want to see him again. >> No, true. >> 10 years. >> True. Sometimes you got to close them doors. No reason to reopen stuff that's >> sadly >> far gone. >> Sadly, >> I completely get it. I feel like it's kind of normal to have a little bit of dysfunction in your family though. Keeps it interesting. >> Yeah. I mean, at least I kind of have a big family now because my family likes to take in the needy and like the special needs and everything. >> Pretty cool, though. >> Taking a lot of I guess I get to meet different people and build bonds with different people. >> For sure. >> It's kind of a learning experience. >> It's a lot. It's awesome though. How did you meet the uh your friend the one that was on ball line? >> Well, I met her during school and then after that I guess we kind of separated but then we fell into like the same friend group. >> That's pretty cool. >> And then I guess we reconnected and after that we've been friendly after. I don't know. Nice. >> It's kind of weird. >> Happens. >> It's like meeting people for the second time. >> No, for sure. >> I have a lot of friends like that from high school. Lose connection and they kind of rekindle later on. >> Kind of unexpected. white female. >> This is just warming up and then we're almost ready. >> As soon as you're done blowing into that, I'll give you your phone. >> Okay. >> Make some phone calls to get somebody here to pick you up. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, as soon as they get here, I'll go get your traffic tickets or whatever from the night and then um have them sign a piece of paper saying that they'll they're liable for you until you sober up and then we'll go from there. >> Okay. >> 5 minutes. Yeah. 35. >> Yeah. Long day, man. All the way from New York back down to here. It's crazy. Especially why just take a bus instead of drive? >> Well, she was already drunk and like I guess I decided to take the bus cuz I didn't want to drive and then >> Yeah, it's a long drive. >> I fell asleep on the bus and then I was half awake on the drive home and like half asleep. >> Yeah, it happens. Cuz after falling asleep on that bus, it's just the most draining experience you'll ever see because you have like all the lights just flashing your lights in your eyes when everybody else is getting off the bus and then you got to get on the next stop and then you got to wait through all the different terminals to pass through when you're like, >> it's like a train. >> I should have. It would have been cheaper instead of spending $40. >> Probably faster, too. >> Yeah. My mom told me, but I >> Is there a train that goes from TR up to New York? No, there's not. It's all the way down south like Jersey like towards Camden area. >> Oh, and it runs up. >> Yeah. Yeah, I know. I know. >> City doesn't even send it out. When we were looking at it, it only send out the bus routes, which is kind of strange. >> The one speed line runs from Camden over to towards AC. I know that >> it doesn't go to the main terminal anymore, though. They closed that one down. >> Oh, really? >> I was stuck. We got stuck there. And then we had to take an Uber back. And then we had to take another Uber and then it was just like $400 right there. >> Expensive day. >> Never again. >> Yeah. >> Not right now. >> You're better off driving. >> Next time I think I'll probably just take an Uber the whole way there instead of spending $500 over and over again. >> For sure. >> Cuz there was a lot of money and then backup was a lot of money. Now, you going to go up there regularly for school? >> Yeah. >> What What's the school called up there? >> I would have to look at my phone for that one. >> Yeah, >> cuz I just put it in the math. So, I'm like, "Okay." >> Yeah, I know. So, there for the cosmetology school. There is it you could do all licenses under one cuz I know the licenses I know Jersey and all of that other stuff included. Yeah, >> I know Jersey has to do each specific one. >> Yeah, Jersey is the most >> But it used to not be that way. It used to be you can do all of them. They changed it to be and that's why I decided to get my extra like hours in even though I kind of failed the course, but I didn't really fail it. It's just like the absences and like the surgery kind of >> messed up the whole >> thing. So, I kind of had to retake it. So, I have the extra hours. I don't have to go to school for it. I just have to switch over my licensing to a different state. >> Yeah. When you were doing the Jersey one, what were you trying to I guess major in in all the categories? What was your >> That was color correcting. >> Oh, you were just going strictly for color correcting because I know I said I know you had to do each one individually. It's like >> Yeah, it was I couldn't take it anymore cuz I had to keep on going back and forth over and over again. I would have to take night classes and then I would have to take afternoon classes and then day class and it would just be different schedules every single day and I'd have to compare my actual work compared to school and it was just >> Yeah. What uh school were you down here when you went to Jersey? >> Over here it was uh Tom's River Ocean County Vocational. >> Oh, okay. Oh, you said you went to vote. Okay, pretty much ready for this. I have to take all the electronics out of the room. Um, my phone out there, our radios and stuff will go out there and then you'll be 6457 ready. >> Yeah. Barney 57. >> Yeah, it's perfect time. >> Deactivating for aqua testing. >> Okay. So, your court date for these traffic tickets is going to be November 13th at 9:00 a.m. here. >> Okay. >> Okay. I'm going to put them in this bag with your necklace, your license, the rest of your property, and here's your results for your alco test. You've blown 09, >> which is just over legal limit. Okay, that's in here also. Um, I'm allowed to bring you out. Your phone and your vape's in here also. Okay. My shoes. >> Yeah. Why don't you put your shoes on? And then um I believe it's Midnight Towing. is the one that towed the car. Um, you have to wait 12 hours. >> Oh, and here's a copy of the liability waiver. >> Well, it's going to be for the person, but um, you can pick the car for 12 hours. >> Your stuff, >> then you would come here to retrieve the tow report. So, just bring your license with you. On the end of the tow report, they'll give you a piece of paper saying the vehicle can be released to you and then you'll go to midnight tow. >> Here is a copy of the liability waiver. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Have a nice night and best of luck. Okay. Don't drink and drive it. No. Carefree.
