on Thursday January 4th 2024 at around 1:30 p.m. an Albuquerque officer was out on patrol when he was dispatched to a Target in reference to a repeat shoplifter the Lost prevention employees advised the suspect had taken a flashlight pens and games and he had concealed them under his jacket before leaving the store the officer received a description of the suspect and was able to locate him not far from the Target off Police Department You' been detained you're not free to leave you also start being recorded and that's the reason why you're being detained I know why go there in the back corner over there I just went to court oh looks like you have a problem then please please what's that oh I just went to court do me a favor just hold on you should be do hey keep your hands out your pockets your pocket show you no we don't need to see that okaya you don't want to pick another charge man going go to jail you just want to do the shoplifting thing okay don't know yet my my my my res again went to the next aisle where the PlayStation games are grabbed those went and baby concealed those ones you said he left the blue bag here He pry did yeah see one her when he came in he didn't have any he's nice he's funny I actually it was it was funny cuz when I went up to the Natural groceries he was like this and then all this sh just Falls I was like wow that's the reason why you're being detained I don't know where it's at cuz I know we have it somewhere he knows like that's what I'm saying like even just going up to him like not even just a cop like when we go up to him and we're like David he's like okay okay hold on and he just starts taking it all out okay walk me through what he did today so he came in he grabbed some uh pens and then he went into hardware and he grabbed um some of blacklight and then he went to electronics grabbed multiple games concealed part of them then dropped some of them then grabbed them again then reconed them then went to the other side grabbed more games oh me to them he should be like those episodes for like no dumbest criminals and then he went back he went back into bed caned the flashlight and the pens and okay I think he was going to grab more but I think he was scared them falling out because he legitimately put them in and I was like oh that was smooth and then he did this and it fell and then he like looked around and he was like picked it up fre concealed in I was like what a [ __ ] [Music] idiot thank CT since now I don't know where my CT is me knock that out woo 513 oh all right cool can you knock me out a time you stole a bunch of video games was back in December 23rd have you on video too David was taken to the prisoner transport center before being booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center on one count of felony shoplifting over $500 court records indicate the case was dismissed by the prosecutor with the reasoning being only listed as prosecution unable to proceed since David's arrest court records showed David had been arrested another three times for criminal trespass and shoplifting
