On September 8th, 2024, police in New Jersey responded to a call for a shoplifting in progress. When police arrived, the suspect was being detained by store employees in front of the supermarket. The suspect was arrested and charged with shoplifting and robbery due to his resisting and attempting to leave the store when approached by store employees.
