Stay down. On July 8th, 2022 on Cincinnati, officer Johnny Harris responded to a call about a 34year-old suspect, Charando Peoples, involved in a reported mobile phone robbery. After repeated failed attempts, six officers finally managed to subdue him and placed him under arrest. Come on. >> Smell that air. 16-year veteran officer Johnny Harris sustained severe facial injuries in the violent attack requiring reconstructive surgery. Charo Peoples was taken into custody on a $365,000 bond facing multiple charges including one count of resisting arrest, one count of assault, one count of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, one count of obstruction, and two counts of criminal damage. A year later, in May 2023, Charlando Peoples was found not guilty by reason of insanity. And that's a wrap on this case.
