So I'm asking you to take your hands out of your pocket and stay away from the car. >> Okay. >> And take your hands out of your pocket and stay away from the car. >> You walked up and now you're speaking to us. Okay, >> we asked you to stand over there away from the car. >> Okay, that's >> if you don't want to get locked up, I suggest you keep your mouth shut and go to wherever you have to go. Yeah, you you're hindering our investigation. Yeah, you >> then go there right now. >> I don't say what you are. Duh. >> I'm watching what's going on. >> If you interfere one more time, you're getting locked up. You understand? >> You understand that, right? interfere. >> You walked over here and you started yelling to her to check her phone. >> I'm not doing anything. Don't worry. >> Stop interfering your investigation >> again. I'm not doing that. >> Yes, you are. >> Get your hands out of your pocket right now. >> Can you call my lawyer? I'll call you later. >> 1:30. >> 1:30 in the morning. You're a lawyer. >> 100%. >> You're out of my dad's lawyer. >> Do me a favor. Turn the car off. Turn the car off. >> All right. I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle. >> Stop interfering. Don't talk. >> So, what we're going to do is is we're just going to make sure you're okay to drive. Okay. Watch yourself. >> All right. So, we're just going to do a field sobriety test on you to make sure you're you're okay. That's fine. All right. >> Yeah. He has a big issue with me right now. >> Do you do HTM? >> Yeah. >> It's not me though. Did she my >> Can I really? >> I have contact. [Applause] [Applause] I was in a very random building. It's focus. >> This officer is going to explain some tests to you. >> Okay. Can we flip this? I have a stigmatism. So like even when I was following that, I can't see it. Okay. So, next we're going to do um what's called the walk and turn. All right. So, I'm going to explain the test to you and I'm going to have you perform the test. Okay. So, the test is going to be what you're going to do is from the starting position, which I'm going to have you you start in, you're going to picture that there's an imaginary line in front of you. Okay. >> Yeah. Okay. What you're going to do, you're going to put your left foot on the line, >> right foot in front, heel to toe, hands at your side. >> Okay? >> Okay. When I tell you to begin the test, you're going to take nine heel to toe steps. Once you complete the nine heel to toe steps, you're going to take a series of small steps, turn, and return nine heel totoe steps down the line. Okay. >> Okay. So, like I said, from the starting position, you're going to have your left foot on the line, right foot in front, heel to toe, hands at your side. This is going to be the starting position. So, you're going to get into the starting position now. All right. Left foot on the line, right foot heel to toe in front. You're not going to start the test until I tell you to do so. Okay? I'm still going to explain to you. >> No problem. >> Okay? >> So, again, left foot on the line, >> right foot, heel to toe. >> You're going to imagine an imaginary line in front of you straight ahead. >> Whenever you're ready. Yeah, >> I'm not done explaining the test, okay? I'm just going to explain the test. I want to make sure you know how to do it. >> So, from the starting position, >> left foot on the line, right foot heel to toe, hands at your side. We're going to take nine heel to toe steps. I'm going to demonstrate. >> Okay. >> All right. While you do so, you're going to count loud. One, two, three. You're going to take nine. I'm taking three for demonstration purposes. On the ninth step, you're going to take a series of small steps. Turn and return. Nine heel to toe steps. One, >> two, three. I'm doing three. You're going to do nine. Okay. >> So, like I said, when I tell you to begin, you're going to start the test. You're going to count your steps out loud. >> You're going to look down at your feet. Keep your hand at your side. You're not going to finish stop the test until uh you're finished. Okay. >> Okay. >> Do you understand? Do you have any questions? >> You're expecting like what 26 steps? I mean, by the time I turn and all that, I want to make sure that I'm accurate with you. >> Like I said, nine and nine, it's 18. And then turning around, it's like three. >> I just want to know what you're expecting because >> Do you want me to to explain it again to you? >> But you're going >> small steps back and then >> nine heel to toe step. >> Yeah, I got it. >> You understand? >> I'm expecting like 26 20 like what's what are you expecting >> again? I'm expecting nine heel to toe steps. >> I turn around here and then I get back here. Turn around facing you again. >> So 9 9 18 six. So that's what you're expecting, right? >> Would you like me to re reexlain the test for you? >> No, it's fine. You're you're going to do what you want to do regardless. >> Okay. Yeah. And before we begin, do you have any medical problems? Are you taking any medications that would affect your balance or anything? >> No, I just have a stigmatism. So, the lights were just a little weird, but no, no, nothing more than that. >> So, what I'm going to have you do is I'm going to have you get in the starting position. Left foot on the line, right foot in front, heel to toe, heel to toe, hands at your side. Okay? And you're going to uh start the test as explained. Okay. So, the next portion of the test is we're going to do it's going to be called the onelegged stand. Again, do you have any injuries or any medications that would affect your balance? >> I mean, if you look at my medical history, I had a right injury when I was at like Top Golf. I like injured my right ankle, but Okay. Nothing I would say is super major where you have to check out. >> How long ago was that? >> 2 3 months. I recently moved out here. So like right before I moved out here, like maybe two months. >> So you had a right uh to your right ankle. Injury to your right ankle. >> Yeah. Like we'll note it. >> Sure. >> Okay. So for the next portion of the test, what you're going to do from the starting position, you're going to start feet together, hands at your side. Okay. When I tell you to do so, you're going to pick either leg of your choosing. You're going to lift it approximately 6 in off the ground. Foot parallel to the ground, toe pointed out. What you're going to do is you're going to look at your foot and you're going to count out loud. 1,00 1 1,002 1003. And you're going to continue to do so until I tell you to stop. If you foot put your foot down for any reason, you're going to continue. You're going to pick your foot back up and just continue on until I tell you to stop. Okay. >> I don't know. >> All right. Do you understand the test? >> Definitely. >> Okay. So, you can begin when I tell you to do so. You can begin. 1,00 1,002 1,003 1,004 100,005 >> Can I take my shoes off or no? I mean, >> you'll have at the bottom. >> You'll continue the test. >> Okay. >> That's instructor. 1006 1007 1008 1009 1th12345th 16th 17th 18th 100 pretty good stuff >> okay right now I'm going to have you put your hands behind your back you're being arrested for driving under the influence Mhm. [Music] >> We're going to walk back here to my car. [Music] I'm going to have you stand facing the car. Do you have anything on you? >> No. >> No. Nothing on you. Okay. >> I just have to start you. >> You're wrong. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Does it have a wire in it? >> Yeah. All right. Do you have a cell phone inside the car that you want to seate? Um, should be in the cup holder. Can I have you have a seat in the car? >> I took the the key fob off. This is all the other keys you need. >> Was her cell. Okay. Our cell phone and everything else. Is that all you need? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. pressure. >> I mean, what type of time frame are you looking at? >> I mean, we can >> I mean, I mean, so the I mean, the real hiccup is usually trying to get somebody right. So, we get you back to the get you back to the station probably a half hour tops. >> But I have access to my phone once they get >> once we get back there. So, I want you while you're getting taken back to the station to think of who you can call. We'll call them. We'll start getting them here just to get you out of the station quicker. Okay. All right. Um, your car's going to be towed and impounded. you can't pick up for 12 hours. We'll explain all that later in the night. Okay. >> All right. >> Yep. Thank you. All right. Have you walk back to her? I'm going to have you step inside. You want to meet me around? >> Police determined that the female in the vehicle may have been impaired, so they conducted a field sobriety test, which she failed. Police arrested her and charged her with DUI and refusal to submit to testing.
