On January 9th, 2025, Melbourne police were called to a local veterinary hospital to deal with a person acting in a highly erratic manner. What began as a response to a public disturbance quickly turned into a criminal investigation when the suspect's behavior led officers to discover much more than just a disruption. >> Are you on it? Uh check So, you guys come No, I just was looking for one. >> The suspect's erratic behavior and attempts to hide evidence resulted in charges for possession of a schedule one controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. They were also charged with tampering with evidence and second-degree interference with transportation, alongside being processed for an outstanding warrant.
