Put your hands behind your [ __ ] back. You're under arrest. Put them behind your back now. The US Supreme Court ruled that while it is good police practice to inform a suspect of the reason for their arrest, the Fourth Amendment does not require it at the time of the encounter. While the police must eventually inform you of the charges, this typically happens during the booking process or at your initial court appearance. Some states have statutes that technically require officers to inform a suspect of the reason for an arrest, but these often include broad exceptions if the explanation is not practical at the moment. Put them behind your back now. Put your hands behind your back. Hands behind your back. Do anything stupid and they're going to taze you or my dog's going to bite you. That's just Nice and simple. Hold your hands. Thank you. Very good. Do anything I don't like, I'm going to stick you, stab you, poke you. We're going to go slow. >> Yeah, we're good. Thank you. Probably going to have to wait. Probably have to wait. No way. Yeah, he said. Do you know the guy? Huh? Do you know him? No. This is from the order if you don't have it. Okay, I don't have it. I know who he is though. Oh, yeah. He's wearing the same shirt. No, that one ate lunch with me before. But he is Daniel. Uh, right side. >> Yeah, we got you can show me the copy of it. You? That's all your guys got better copy of it if you want. The links? Uh yeah, I'm going to need the videos from from earlier and from this one. Thank you. What How did you get out of this car? I'll I'll charge it. Uh I'll go ahead. I think he did it and done this before and fled from me, but I couldn't prove it cuz they never had it recorded. Yes, sir. All right, so um from the information I got earlier, Mhm. that guy was with a female. Mhm. Okay? She came walking over and she wants to know all about what's going on Okay. over here to the point where she came out over here. That's probably her. >> Okay? Right. So, I'm talking to Officer Perkins who was working this case. He says that he says he's got a picture of her and he gave me a description of what her hair She's wearing different clothes. Yeah, I've got the picture. She I can see the blonde hair. Is that her? Yeah, I think No, hold on a second. Not yet. Where did you Did you text it to me? Hold on a second. How did you send it to me? Text? To this To this phone? I haven't got anything yet. I haven't got anything yet. No, I I ran out of the PD. I don't have mine. Yeah, it's not coming through for some reason. Uh you know what? Crooks up here. Do you have a a picture of the other offender? I'm sorry. I'm listening to the bur- the robbery that just happened here. I got I got him in my car. I can't go. Victor wanted a male on the phone that's walking towards the mall. What's What's the ETA? This was allegedly a robbery or something. So, I'm going to go grab him real quick. Hey. Come here. Hold on. After you like the video, hype the video. Tap the video's description, tap the hype points button, and thanks to you, this video is now hyped. I'm going to go grab him real quick. Hey. Come here. Yeah, I I I I I >> the person who called? >> the police. Yes, my personal call. Patrol is going to come talk to you, okay? We're handling another matter right now. So, just give us a second. Put your hands Don't make me use force to do something that you don't want me to do, okay? >> I'm not. You're under arrest. I just told you right now you're under arrest for retail theft. I didn't do anything. Okay. What are you talking about? Stop moving. What are you talking about? Yo, that ain't you? It's 100% >> you? No, that's That's 100% you right there. That's a picture from this Target, okay? What are you talking about? That's not me. That's you. It's 100% you. Are we still closed on channel, like what? No, uh we might be. I had the guy Dan talking to him. >> This one. Victor 3 from 1, can you unlock your car? Victor 1, we have another female in custody working the first target. I need my stuff in my car. Okay, that's good. Can I get my things? >> No, you can't get anything right now. You're under arrest. I need my things in my car. No, you're not getting them right this second. I'm a little busy, if you can't see that. I need my ID in my car. Okay, I'm not going to tell you again. You're wasting your breath. It's not happening right now. If this female suspect is involved in the alleged shoplifting crime, she made an incredibly foolish decision if her intent was to get away and not be caught. While the police have this suspect's alleged accomplice hemmed up, she allegedly walks over to the police with different clothing on to ask questions regarding the male suspect's arrest. That is an incredibly foolish choice for someone allegedly involved in an organized crime dynamic. I'm guessing that the two suspects never put effort into creating a plan in case something went wrong. I need my ID in my car. Okay, I'm not going to tell you again. You're wasting your breath. It's not happening right now. You are under arrest. I will get to it when I get to it. Right now, I'm not going to get to it. Does Does car have a cage? Oh, this one is fine. Yeah. I I need I need 87, but I need to put her in this car. I have somebody. He's in my car. Have a seat. I need more things. >> Get in the car. Put your foot in the car. Hold. Sit here. I couldn't see from the distance. She was hiding in the blind spot. Yeah, of course. This is a Facebook marketplace transaction. They thought they were being blocked in by the guy cuz the guy is bitching about the whatever the sale was. So, the driver pulled the [ __ ] out of here. Yeah. Yeah, you're good. Yeah, I'm good. Thank you. So, he had a 100% belief, but he also thought he was being trapped by the guy. I I had to leave. So, forget mass people. So, I got to wait for mass transport. Yeah, it's what happens when you have limited resources. I got to wait for mass transport. Yeah, whatever he's done. All right, I can switch out with her. I can get the video or whatever it is. What's What's um Franco? She's got a ticket, too, right? Yeah, she's processing the dude who turned himself in. >> She's Oh, [ __ ] Is she still on? Well, dude, I'm going to I'm going to talk to him. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you're good. Yeah, you're good, Mike. Thank you. Bye. Thank you. 10-1 and Ralph from the north. Victor two from Victor 30. Here you go. What's your status on the booking process? I'm just finishing up and wrapping up. All right, jumper. All right, hopefully she'll get rid of the video. I didn't display to be right. Apparently. Yeah. Okay, 68 is the total for the one for the retail side of the gate or the night side of the gate? Pull mine first and then yours. Yeah, I'm not sure so the guy he actually We'll pull one for the retail side and then a separate one for the night side of the gate. Uh exactly what? It's 398 1498 and then the change for the night and going to be 45 and That doesn't make any sense. 42. So, 1499. It would make more sense. Yeah. What All right, let's do this. Uh we'll go with uh him. The Villa Park number is 1499 1499. Let's start doing this. Let's start cleaning up cleaning up these aisles. I know we got people in custody. I will hang out. Take. Do you have someone in custody in your car? >> this female. And you have someone in custody in your car? >> Yes. Put both those cars next to each other one in front of each other over there. I will sit with them and watch them while you guys tidy stuff up. All right. And then that's what Will they understand English? Uh I don't know if they trust me. Russian? Mhm. That's not close enough. Close enough. Unless you speak Polish or not? No, this is different. Yeah, I know it's different. I know. Some Russians speak Polish so nice like that so I can't help him with that. So, let me ask you this. When he pulled the knife, were you blocking him in, preventing him from leaving? The police seem to believe that pulling a knife on someone because they believed that they are trapped in a parking spot is legally justified and it simply isn't. In Illinois, pulling a knife on someone is legally considered the use of unaliving force. Under state law 720 you are only justified in using unaliving force if you reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent imminent unaliving or great bodily harm to yourself or another. Simply believing you are trapped may not meet this high legal threshold unless that entrapment is accompanied by an immediate threat of severe physical injury or a forcible felony. When he pulled the knife, were you blocking him in, preventing him from leaving? Just You said you moved around your vehicle. >> small This is small parking lot and I have big car. I I tried U-turn for open place and go away. Just when he opened knife, I go away. Right. But then then what happened cuz then he left and then you followed him here? My car stay on on entrance and I tried go go away, change place for for free exit. And then you followed him? And called the police. Right. Uh uh yes, for Where did this happen? Where did this occur? Where did this transaction happen? Where where? Yeah, where? Um to police station in Lombard. I don't know. Where were Where Where did you meet up with him to do the exchange? >> Yeah. Yes, I I understood. I I on police. In Lombard police? spot you. So you met at the police you met at the police station. Police And then he pulled the knife there? At the police station? Sorry guys. I buy this computer one week ago. Okay. >> Yes, and we have a second meet today. Where was the second meet? Second meet, right. Today, where was that at? Today, second meet. And First time we have meet in at the police department spot. First time? And yes, and now second he send me link to this place. To this place. Winton Park. In Lombard? Lombard, yes. So Lombard Lagoon? No, where was this? Is that the park on the lagoon? This is Smart Park, but Hold on, they're all here. I'm like I'm like hold on a second, they're here. I had to be the bearer of bad news. They're like like just shaking like this is not ours anymore. Home. He's got my handcuffs. I don't know, there's a lot of people in handcuffs right now. I'm getting video and I'm getting it. >> have anything on you, right? I just hear it. Yeah, cuz there's like three things happening at once. My car got crashed into. I just got outside right before I pulled in and she almost hit you. She said she she got freaked out when we went to stop the guy because she thought he was coming towards her and she freaked out, backed up, and almost hit the doors there. Yeah. She's on the side. All right, so Lombard Lagoon. Well, so this guy is the passenger. He says that the whole transaction started over there and this guy was trying to box them in. Some argument over money previous transaction. He's like "Then they meet up here." This is what about a weapon? He says "I didn't see no weapons. I didn't see no I heard this guy talking about a knife, so he must have had a knife." He pulled out So basically, so this is the second time they meet up. Apparently, they bought the the initial meet up was at the Lombard Police Department. Like my previous transaction? >> This transaction, but I don't know something was wrong with it. Long story short, this is the second time he's purchasing or selling, whatever. Okay. >> These two are trying to doing a transaction for the second time. This time he sent them him a link to the Lombard Lagoon to meet there. >> Okay. The way he's describing it is obviously with that big Sprinter van, he goes, "I go into a small parking lot, so it might have looked like I'm blocking him, but I was going back and forth to pull out to get out." And he can go down as soon as he He basically says when he pulled the knife out, he was managed to get out, move out of their way. It's weird. As I get would appear that he may have been blocking cuz I was trying to move the van out of the way. And that's when he started following him here. So, he should pull a knife on him over there at the Lagoon. At the Lagoon. Did he take Did he take money from him? No. He said he doesn't He said he doesn't really want the arrest, but he said he wants to figure out if he can get his money returned or get his money back. It also sounds like It also sounds like towards the end that he wants nothing done, but like try to get figure out of where to get his money or property back. >> Yeah, this is all Yeah. This is all I I Yes, I think he's This is BS. So, he's got to call you He opened his phone for me. He called 911 at 7:51. This guy called him at like 7:52. 7:52? Yeah, 7:53. 2 minutes after this guy called cuz he's trying to get away from this guy. He's on the phone with 911 dispatcher. He sees the lights in here and that's why he pulled in where he was because he was trying to get to the police cuz this guy is He was trying to get away from the other guy. >> demanding his money back. Ah. So, story The story is taking a little Let's see. His story about him blocking a man is exactly what he's saying. They're blocking him. >> The part that what I got out of him is he was saying that he was trying to navigate the big van through the small parking lot. So, it might have, you know, he was going back and forth trying to get the van out. And I'm like, "Yeah, that's feasible or what not." Oh, he He wouldn't let him out. Which is why he He presented a knife cuz like cuz he's like, "I'm terrified. This guy will not let me out. He's way bigger than I am." So, when him the knife, because he said he was a tennis car, doors closed, window was down. So, it's not like he got out and took the tag and he was just I was showing him I had a knife. Let me out of here. He was terrified. And then squeezed through. He said he had to put on silent alarm. He says this guy's been giving him a hard time about it. He says this is the second time they met up. First time I think they said This guy disguised It sounds like he disguised his over the new because he's not happy with the person's action and he's going to shoot him down with it. He disguised his thing to set this up. He's the guy that was supposed to be buying the other one. He's selling the thing and then he surprised him. So, let's just go talk to him. Yep. the semantics of where he was Let's see if we can get some verbage, contacts, and all that. All right. Hey Frank, real quick. I'm going to secure this knife while we get everything, you know, finished up and then I'll get it back to Uh Yeah, I was just saying So, This is your guys. I don't know what Talking to the uniform officer over there. Sounds like everything he's saying is pretty much matches up with what you're saying is about you know, the sales, the deal that was agreed upon. He's saying when he showed up at the lagoon that you backed out on the deal. Yeah, so I I don't know. We just have to see how this We weren't there to see. Um he's saying he doesn't want to sign a complaint. You said you're willing to pay him the 50 bucks and call it a day. So, if that's still good, you know, if you want you grab your phone. You want me to grab your phone? Yeah, can I grab my jewel as well? Sure. You don't mind? I don't mind. I do not have any information pertaining to charges for any of the suspects, Target is widely considered to have one of the most advanced and sophisticated surveillance operations in the retail industry. Their system goes beyond standard cameras, incorporating professional grade forensics and deep coordination with law enforcement. Yet, Target has lost over $2 billion in a 3-year span due to theft. Yikes. Doing transactions, especially for online marketplaces like Facebook or Craigslist, can be safer at a police station because it provides several layers of protection that a public parking lot or a home cannot offer. Many police departments now offer designated safe exchange zones specifically for this purpose. I am the Prime Analyzer, and I know that you enjoy this channel.
