On September 13th, 2024, Sikus police responded to the Walmart on Park Plaza Drive to investigate a reported shoplifting incident involving three individuals. Following the investigation, police arrested a 20-year-old female, a 21-year-old, and a 20-year-old male. While all three were charged with shoplifting and conspiracy, she faced an additional charge of hindering apprehension for providing false information.
