Cover one, I'm with her at point zero of Plainfield Yes, um they just have right right here. I don't need to get arrested. >> I'm not going to be detained. >> detained. >> Excuse me. Hold on, LET ME NO. NO. NO. [Music] OVER TO DISPATCH. [Music] OKAY, what in the absolute world is going on here? Well, to find out what could possibly compel a grown woman to go play in traffic, we'll need to turn back the clock a bit and take a peek inside this BP station. There's our lovely suspect. You'll see in her hands a large tumbler that will come into play later. Now, at this point, she'd already been trespassed for panhandling, bathing in the bathroom sink, and possible retail theft. So, she's helping herself to the coffee and filling her tumbler with it. No idea if she planned to pay for it, but staff notices she's there and this employee tells her to leave. She refuses, of course, and sloshes her cup towards the employee. There's a scuffle and the suspect splashes all of her remaining coffee on the employee. An additional staff member responds to run the suspect off the property where police will intercept her. Now, it's worth noting that the coffee was nearly boiling at 200° F or 93° C, resulting resulting in hospitalization for the employee with second-degree burns. Now, let's get back to the arrest. [Music] What you got? What you got? They burned my hand. You don't need to >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> PUT THEM BEHIND YOUR BACK NOW. YOU DON'T NEED TO ATTACK ME. >> NO.
