He resisted all types of [ __ ] He just keeps standing as [ __ ] He walked up while he they said he smacked him in the head. He did not. He was on the ground. He never moved. He wasn't a resist or nothing. He was laying on the ground because they he was going to arrest all of us that was standing right there. He was the first one that he grabbed. He grabbed him. He pulled him to the ground. He started putting him in handcuffs. She walked up and start spraying all the people that's around right there. She started spraying all them. So they so he started wrestling. So when he went to go grab us like he grabbed their arms. I moved out the way. You going to rest me first? I didn't see. So he was he was still standing right here. So they grabbed him like this girl and smashed his head into the ground. But then he start literally try he start choking him. >> Yeah. >> We w I'm watching this man choke this man. They said that they was taking him because he was um he hit a officer. You don't hit an officer. He never hit that man. >> Okay. >> Premise to God on both my kids, he never hit him. And he's still laying here. Watch how they say he resisted. When I say he was pinching it was funny. If you pitch my neck like that, I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm getting resistant, baby, cuz I'm flipping the over. >> Okay. >> And he's going to back out a little bit. >> He's a very dirty cop. He probably pulled drug dealers over having them pay him to let them go. That's how much of a dirty cop I think. So, according to the video presented by the witness in the blue outfit, another person, not the one being arrested in the video, clearly struck the officer. It appears that the sergeant, who was the initial arresting officer, was surrounded by a group of people that did not agree with how the sergeant was treating the person that he was arresting. and the strike to the head from someone in the crowd reflected those disagreements. It also appears that the sergeant increased his level of force on the suspect because the sergeant was struck by another individual in the crowd, which isn't a lawful reason to increase force on someone else. Obviously, the two cops on scene were aware that someone in the crowd struck the cop other than the individual on the ground because the female cop then pepper- sprrayed the crowd as a result of that, which would debunk the sergeant blaming the suspect on the ground for striking the sergeant due to that event. >> He probably pulled drug dealers over having them pay him to let them go. Stop telling him to stop and all that." I walk away to go get the phone to call my mom. I come back on the phone with my mom. >> I'm yelling talking to my mom. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> And I'm I'm standing over him though, but I'm trying to just get him to calm down. And that's when he was like, "Arest her and she grabbed me to arrest him." >> Did you see like what did you see? Did you see officer stro strikes? Did you see the officer get hit? Did you see >> in the middle of all that? Yeah, I did. >> Did you see him get hit? >> I just heard it. I didn't see it. >> You saw like a loud smack on the head. Okay. Did you see the officer throw any strikes or anything like that? >> To my brother to anybody else. >> HOW MANY STRIKES? >> HE HAD HIS KNEE on him. They was literally punching him and everything >> like where at >> in his head all of that. >> So an officer punching you while you're on the ground is permissible only if the force is considered objectively reasonable for the specific situation such as when you are actively resisting arrest and posing an immediate threat. Using a punch when you are compliant or have been subdued is considered excessive and illegal force. >> They was literally punching him and everything >> like where at >> in his head all of that. >> Okay. >> No, they trying to >> and I'm not lying. However, the same female cop claims to have seen the video showing the alleged suspect punching at her sergeant. And then she claims that the suspect punched her sergeant. So, the female cop changed her claim from the alleged suspect striking making no contact to the strike making contact to not knowing definitively who is actually at fault because the female cop is using a hypothetical by utilizing the word if. So, the female cop arresting the suspect based on a hypothetical is foolish and a bad arrest. Lastly, this very same officer is admitting that she isn't wearing a body cam as well. Well, they're about to they'll have to pull it up in there cuz they have whoever arrested you sent your paperwork to them. So they'll be able to tell you what what everything's going on. So, the people that were arrested were arrested and charged with resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer, and disorderly conduct. In my factual perception, the police did a poor job of managing the situation, and it's highly likely that there were frivolous arrests made also. Now, the presence of a large crowd would not cause the police to leave or abandon their duties in the face of the crowd. Rather, it would likely cause them to deploy more officers to manage the situation. Yes, the police can pepper spray a crowd, but its use is typically intended for situations where individuals in the crowd are exhibiting violent or assaultive behavior and force is necessary to maintain order or ensure safety. In cases of passive resistance, such as a peaceful group of protesters, it may require higher level approval or be considered excessive force depending on the specific circumstances and local policies.
