Click it real good. >> Your license on you. >> Reason why I'm pulling you over is you're all over the roadway. Where you coming from? >> Okay. Stop traffic. You already stopped. I got up that lane. >> We need you to step out of the car for me. I want to talk to you outside the car. Step out. Step out of the car. Okay, tell you take the key out of the ignition for me. >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. I mean, it's okay to be nervous, but I still need you to step out. Hey, that is a lawful order. You do have to step out of the vehicle. Okay. Stand right here. You turn around. Face me. So, you're coming from your boyfriend's house. Do you know what time it is? Any idea? Can you give me a guess? 7 a.m. >> 7 a.m. Okay. Have you had anything to drink? >> Um, a long time ago when I was at Inferno. >> Yeah. How long ago was your last drink? >> Hours ago. >> Hours. How much did you have to drink? >> Not a lot. >> What's not a lot? >> One two shots. One of the worst, if not the worst, decision you can possibly make after being pulled over for swerving in traffic is to provide the police with any information pertaining to any substance that you ingested or inhaled that can potentially impair you. Do not be concerned about hurting someone's feelings because you chose not to answer their questions. >> How much did you have to drink? >> Not a lot. >> What's not a lot? one, two shots. >> So, the calls that we got was you bounced off the median wall a couple times. Do you remember that? >> No. >> No. Okay. Now, when I was coming up behind you, I could see that you were all over the highway and then just stopping, you had to slam on your brakes before hitting that sign. >> So, I had um Go ahead. >> I had realized my brakes were bad and they were being um loud basically and they were being very bad. And I have um uh uh a funeral to go. So basically in a couple days, >> can you just do me a favor and say the ABC's A to Z without singing it? A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P H I J K L O P 1 2 3 4 I don't I don't know like I don't >> now the Jackson 5 wanted everyone to know that ABC is as easy as 1 2 3. However, they never wanted anyone to mix the alphabet and the numbers together. >> Can you just do me a favor and say the ABCs A to Z without singing it? A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P H I J K L P 1 2 3 4 I don't I don't know like I don't >> I'd like to run you through some field sobriety tests. Are you willing to do that? >> Yes. >> Okay. First test I want you to do is put your feet together. Put your arms down at your side. What I want you to do is just follow the tip of my finger. Okay. You see my finger here? >> Yes. >> Just keeping your head completely straight facing me. Just follow the tip of my finger. Do not move your head. Just with your eyes only. Okay. I tell you, keep your head completely straight right here. Okay. Just with your eyes. >> All right. Do you wear contacts or glasses? You do? What do you wear? >> I can't I'm missing one and one eye. >> Okay. Do you are they soft contacts, hard contacts? >> I don't know what that means. >> Okay. So, you are wearing one of them right now. >> I'm wearing contacts in one eye, not this eye. >> Okay. All right. We're going to do the same thing. Okay. Keep your >> face straight ahead. Okay. That's straight. Oh, I took my finger. You got to follow it. >> You're not. You're looking straight ahead. I should >> Okay, just follow it. >> There you go. I know. Just follow along with me. Here >> I am. >> It's part of the test. Just keep your eyes locked on it. I know, but like >> But you're fading from it. >> No, I'm not. It's just like boring. >> Okay. Well, just be bored with it. Straight ahead. Okay. The next test we're going to do is just a ninestep walk and turn. Do you have anything wrong with your legs or any issues that would keep you from just a simple balancing? >> I don't think so. >> No. Okay. So, what I want you to do is imagine a straight line right here. >> Well, I can't stop the cars for you. Okay. >> That makes me uncomfortable, though. >> Okay. Do you want to do this test? >> I do, but like I don't want to like go on a freeway. >> You see how many cop cars we have blocking the lane? >> I understand, but like that's nervous for me. >> Okay, we'll just focus on the test. Okay, imagine a straight line. So, you don't want to do this test. >> I do because I don't think I have a choice. But like I'm on a freeway. >> You have a choice. But if you're going to do it, you got to listen and do it right. Okay. >> I understand. But I'm on a freeway. Like that's nervous for me. I'm nervous. >> You were the one that were hitting the median wall making everybody else nervous. >> No. Okay. So, I need you to listen to the test. If you're going to do it, if you don't want to do it, just say you don't want to do it. Okay. >> I understand, but I'm on like this. >> So, listen. >> You would be like, >> tell you a little bit nervous. >> Imagine a straight line right in front of you. Okay. >> I I understand. >> What I want you to do is put your left foot down and put your right foot in front of it. Heel to toe. >> Okay, I understand that. I get that. But like I'm on a freeway. >> I know we're on a freeway. >> Can we >> We're going to do it right here. >> Or else. >> No, I need you to do this now for me. Okay. >> All right. >> The roadway is blocked and it is safe. >> I have anxiety. >> Okay. >> I do not want to take it across over here. >> Okay. All right. Go ahead and face your car. You turn around. Face your car. >> Are you going to HEY YOU. YEAH, YOU THE ONE SITTING ON THE COUCH eating chips. Get your butt up and take your nutty professor finger and hit the subscribe button so you CAN SEE VIDEOS ANALYZED BY THE PRIME analyzer like this. >> All right, go ahead and face your car. You turn around. Face your car. >> Are you going to place your hands behind your back? >> You're under arrest for operating a vehicle under the influence. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say cannot be used against drug court. You have the right to consolidate attorney attorney present court attorney. One will be privacy before questioning no cost. Hold on. I'm double lock this. No pockets on the shorts. >> No pockets, but there's >> nothing in the bank. Okay, >> sure. Sir, I don't >> Okay. So, what's going to happen is you're going to go back. You're going to get pulled. >> I understand. But >> and then you can call somebody to come pick you up. Okay. >> But, sir, but I don't. >> You're just under the influence right now. Can't be the wheel. >> No, it's not that. >> Go ahead and sit down. Sir, please. >> You are under arrest. Okay, >> I understand. But sir, >> all right, go ahead and jump in. Once we get back, you call somebody to come pick you up. Okay. >> Okay, sir. I understand, but this is not >> Yeah, I know. It's not the way you want to start your day. >> Okay, I understand. But this is not that. >> All right, sit down. >> Wait, sir. at her. Okay. >> I Yeah, I get that. >> Back in so we can buckle you up. >> Okay, sir. But sir, >> you got to use your words. What >> I understand this is not this is not like >> it's what's happening though. You are under arrest. So, you got to get in the vehicle. >> I understand. But this is not Look, >> we can talk more about the station, but we're going back to the station. So, get in the cop car and then let's get out to the highway. We're worried about safest here. Throw your feet in. Throw your feet in. >> It's You got to hit it. >> Throw your foot in. Come on. >> Can you get my phone? >> Yeah. >> Where is it? >> Well, get it. You're not getting it. You're in handcuffs. Get in the car. Can you pick my phone up? >> What's that? >> Can you pick my phone up so it makes sense? Like, can you pick my phone up so I can call somebody? >> Yeah. >> You're going the opposite direction. Why am I in handcuffs and not him? I don't understand. I don't know if it's early morning or really late night. Come on up. >> Can you tell me a favorite? >> Yeah. >> You have my phone? >> Yeah. >> Can you pull it up? >> No. Just follow this officer. >> Yeah. Stop worrying about your phone. >> Take these hands off you right here on that black clutch. Okay. >> Yes. Of course. >> I do. This is all wet. >> Of course. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> I'm sweating, crying, everything. >> Just stop bending your arms. Thank you. I'm not betting anything. >> I'm not doing anything but cooperating. >> Yeah, you're all right. Let me see right here for you. See, >> I'm going to use that. >> Look at you guys. All right. All right. T I'm going to read this top paragraph to you. Okay. What I need you to do is just follow along with me. You are now you are now under arrest for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drug or combination of them. If you refuse to take any chemical test required by law, your Ohio driving privileges will be suspended immediately and you have to pay a fee to have the privileges reinstated. If you take a chemical test, you may have an independent chemical test taken at your own expense. >> Chase, did you run her by chance? Wait, I do have to use the bathroom. >> Okay. >> And I have been asked to use the bathroom. >> Do you want to take the breath test? >> That's fine, but can I use the bathroom? >> Yeah. >> So, right now we have a 20-minute observation period. Uh, if you do use the restroom, then we're going to have to restart that 20-minute observation period. Just to let you know. So, if you want to go use the restroom right now, then I'm going to have to check your mouth again after that. Then, we're going to have to start the 20 minutes all over again. >> That's fine. I don't care. looking after. >> Oh, >> wait. What is that? >> It's a restroom. >> Do you want in there? >> I don't know. >> Okay. Restroom's right over here. This police department is doing themselves a disservice by not having a female officer on duty to respond to this situation. A female officer reduces the chances of potential lawsuits, which could stem from a male searching a female in an inappropriate or illegal way. Most police agencies would have a female on duty in a 24-hour period for these matters. >> What is that? >> It's a restroom. Um, >> you want uh female in there? >> I don't mind, man. >> Okay, restroom right over here. Once you're done using the restroom, just push the door back open. Okay, >> if you want to, you can walk, dispatch. They ran her up there. >> I was just wondering if she had any priors. I guess we'll just go through this. This is going to need clean, huh? I can call. >> Um, so I'm guessing we'll just do the breath here and I'll just take her back for a book and I'll do all my paperwork back there so it doesn't really matter. >> Okay, you can push it. All right, all better now. >> Have a seat back over here. I just got to check your mouth again. >> Have a seat right here for me, please. >> You go ahead and open up your mouth for me. Open up your mouth. Tongue in the roof of your mouth. Thank you. >> All right. At this time, I'm going to ask you, are you going to take the breath test or you going to refuse? >> I don't know what is beneficial towards me. >> So, if you refuse a breath test, your license is suspended effective immediately for one year. If you blow on the machine below 08 or above, your license is suspended for 90 days. >> Regardless, it seemed bad. >> This bad regardless. >> So, are you going to take the breath test? Are you going to? >> Yes. >> You will. >> Well, I'm going to need an answer before this times out. >> So, if I refuse, it's automatic. >> Automatic. Right now, one year if you refuse. >> All right. I guess I'll take it. Is that for sure? >> That is for sure. We're not lying. >> Automatic. >> Yes. >> What city are we in >> right now? You're at the Bay Village Police Department. Right. I'm going to ask you again. Are you going to take my boyfriend? >> Are you going to take the breath test? You >> I will take it, but where is my phone call? Like, where is my boyfriend? >> So, doing a series of self checks right now. You're going to provide two breath samples in the machine. The lower the two samples is going to be your result. >> Okay, that's fine. Can I >> Can you have a seat for me, please? >> Yes. I'm not sitting down. It's all fine. >> I know. Can you just sit up? >> I I was supposed to stand up. I'm sorry. >> It's okay. Um, can't use any phones or any electronic devices around this machine or it'll cause an error with it. >> When can I make my phone call off my phone? >> Once you get back to the Westlake Police Department. >> When is that? >> After we're done with this test. >> How will I get there? >> West Police officer standing to your right. We'll transport you over there. >> Okay. So, you'll give him my phone. >> He has your stuff. My phone. Your phone's right here. >> I will call him. >> He has all of your stuff. >> So, you'll give him my phone. He'll give me my phone. >> I don't have anything. He has your stuff. He's >> Your phone is right here. >> You're just at our station to do this test. What you're going to do is you're going to take some take a nice big deep breath. And once you're ready, you blow your lips on there and one continuous long hard blow into this machine. You can grab onto it if you need to. Okay, >> so big deep breath. Don't suck in on there. Big deep breath. Once you're ready, put your lips on there and keep going. Keep that up. [music] Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going as long as you can. going to do a series of sub checks which is going to take about 2 minutes. Then you're going to provide another breath sample and then your results are going to print out. My phone call your phone or any electronic devices around that machine or it's going to cause an error. I'm going to >> just stop asking about your phone. >> We're going to give you the phone call when we're ready. Okay. >> I literally This is crazy. This is >> I don't understand how I cannot call my father. I don't understand. Am I tripping or why can I talk? Why can I Why can I not call my father? I don't get any. >> We're We're done talking about your phone. Okay. >> Soon as we get back to the station, you're going to make your phone call. >> We're at the station. Yes or no? My phone right there. >> I'm not checking. I'm not resisting. I don't want to hear anything. Same thing. Okay. >> Mhm. >> Go ahead and grab onto it. Want to keep going hard blow into there. When you're ready, Carter. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep it up. Oh, hold on one sec. You got to redo it again. One continuous long hard blow. Okay. >> I didn't. >> I know, but you'll hear I never stop. >> You'll hear a tone and you got to keep that tone up. Okay. >> I know. I never stop though. >> All right. Try again. >> Nope. Didn't take it. You got to go a little harder than that. Never saw it. >> Okay, try again. >> Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Nope. Not not hard enough into that. >> I'm I keep not stopping though. >> I know. You got to pull harder into it. Okay. >> I I'm not switching up though. >> Blow harder into it cuz it's not taking it. >> Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. >> Same face. >> Yep. It's okay. >> I know. That time it's okay. >> It's been the same pace. >> Thank you. Yes or no? >> Yes or no? >> I think I like theizer better. >> All right, TA, we're headed back to Westlake and you can make a phone call. Wesley. >> Hey, you got to put these on up front. >> We're going back to Wesley. Can you make a phone call? >> Okay, fine. Did I try to ask my father several times? >> Yeah, you did. >> Did you? >> No. You want to stay here? You want to go make your phone call? >> Why not? >> Is this recording me? >> Yeah. Say cheese. >> Okay. Lean into me. >> Give me your hands. >> Lean Uh, I will lean into me. >> Lean into me. What? >> You need something? >> I will be right in the camera. >> You are in the camera. >> Of course. >> Yeah, thank you. >> No, >> you're just going to stare at the camera the whole time. >> Of course. >> I asked where is my father? >> Where is he? >> I don't know. Where is he at? >> I I kept asking for him. >> Push that. >> No, I don't have hands. >> Come on. >> I don't have hands. Jump in. >> I don't have legs to either. >> Why are you acting like this now? >> Where's my father? >> Get in the car. >> Where's my father? >> Get in the car. You make a phone call once you get back to West Lake. So, you're just delaying that process. >> I don't live in West Lake. That's the difference. That's >> I know, but he's the arresting officer. He has to go through the walking process. >> You're playing games. Get in the car. >> No, I'm not. Where is my father? >> Please get in the car. I keep asking for my father. You have yet to call my father. >> Yes. And you're delaying that right now. >> NO, I'M NOT. You keep asking all these questions. >> Where are you going to You're going to call your father when we get back to the place. >> You should call You should have been called my father. >> You don't call the shots. You get your phone call when we get back to the station. >> You should have been called my father. I shouldn't be taking no test without my anything. >> Listen, right now you just have a OBVI charge. >> I It doesn't matter. >> If you keep doing this and you're not listening, it's going to be matter. I already have. No, it doesn't matter. I already have something. >> We'll talk about it. Get in. >> No, wait. Can you tuck your feet in so I can buckle you up? >> Okay, that's fine. I already have something set up. >> Good. Throw your leg in. >> Throw your leg in. >> Can you wait? Can you listen to >> I'm not listening to you anymore. >> So, apparently she wants the officer to listen to her for two seconds. Throw your leg in. >> Throw your leg in. Can >> you Wait. Can you listen to >> I'm not listening to you anymore. Throw your legs in. >> I already have something going on, >> so I need to call my father. >> Put your feet in so we can get back to the station and you can make a phone call. >> Call my father then. Okay. >> I >> Where is the other one? Wait. Wait. Where is the other one? >> The other officer? >> Yes. >> What you're not understanding is I'm a Westlake cop. Your accident and your arrest was with Westlake. >> Where is the other one? >> If you can listen. >> I was not in Westlake, though. >> Yeah, you were. >> No, I was not. >> We came to Bay to use their machine. >> I was not. I was by my house. You were lying. >> You're literally lying. Pull the clip. >> Okay. >> Pull the clip. >> If anything, I was in Garfield. If anything, >> I'm back here. If anything, >> I was not in >> Okay. >> Can you pull the other one, please? >> 757. >> Pull the other one, please. I'm not comfortable. >> Or call my father or call my boyfriend. I'm not saying back to Westlake jail. Mileage 28210. No. This not this. No. >> You want your window down and 4600. >> Can you call my father, please? >> Say it. As soon as we get back to Westlake jail. >> I don't live in Westlake. No, but you were arrested by West. >> I was not. I was by my house. I live in Cleveland. >> You got stopped in Westlake. >> I was not. I came from downtown. I never there. That doesn't make any sense. Going from downtown to Cleveland by Garfield. I would never ever I was nowhere near Westlake. That doesn't make any sense. >> Maybe that's an indicator how intoxicated. I wasn't I was not I was not in Westlake. Quick like end the period. I was not in Westlake. That's the opposite direction. And I was not going that way. It's one thing to say you you saw me speeding or something, but it's another thing to say you saw me in Westlake. That's crazy. You know you didn't see me in Westlake. Read that. >> You're read that. >> You [clears throat] know you didn't see me in Westlake. >> Read it. >> You know you did not see me in Westlake. Point blank in the period. You was not there when you pul When I got pulled over. You was not there. And I was not in Westlake. >> Point blank and period. >> You're capping. You know you know I was not in Westlake. >> You know I was not in Westlake. I was like damn near in Garfield. You're bro. Okay. >> Okay. And you know that. What are you talking about, Wes? Like, >> I'm not arguing with you. >> Okay. You don't need to argue with me. >> I hope you make a quick buck off that having me locked up. That's so crazy. I got handcuffs on me. That's so crazy. What are you doing? What are you doing? You need to go in here if you want to make your phone call. We're going this way. Okay. So, now they're going to ask you the booking questions. Come on. Huh? I don't want to go in there. >> It's the same. This is Westlake jail. You were just in Bay Village. There's no difference. >> Okay. I don't want to be in jail. Where are you? What the is this? I'm never going to do this. Is weird. I don't want it. >> So, the way to get out of those is by going in there and then we're going to use the phone in there and then somebody comes and picks you up, but you can't get picked up until you make a phone call and you can't do any of this to get booked in. >> Okay, but like >> so there's a process. You just got to go through it. >> Okay, cool. That makes sense for you. >> Watch your step right here. Okay. Don't trip over this. [snorts] >> I don't want to go in there. >> You have to go in there. >> I don't make sense in there. >> We're not doing anything out here in the garage. Okay. You need to go inside. >> I don't make sense in there. >> I get that you're intoxicated. You just got to try to control yourself. >> No, it's not about that. I have anxiety. I don't want to go in there. >> Okay. Well, then try to get it under control so you can get through this process and get out of here. >> Okay. I'm trying, but >> you have to go in there. 75 7. Come on. Tell you're not getting out of handcuffs until we go in here. So if you want to go home, you have to go in here. >> Okay, I understand. But like >> then just walk in here. >> What is behind that door? Seriously, >> you're in a jail. >> What do you think's behind the door? >> I DON'T KNOW. LIKE the jail built for this [ __ ] What do you mean? >> All you got is one speed ticket behind me. I'M NOT BUILT FOR this [ __ ] inside the door. Seriously. 57 calling. [snorts] >> Are they calling me? >> I have no idea. I couldn't hear. >> Come on in. You have to come in here. >> Why? >> It's been the same things over and over and over. >> Like >> you have to get through the booking process before you can leave. >> I get it. But like >> so we can't book you in out here in the garage. >> I know. I understand. But like here. So, the driver was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, having a breath alcohol concentration over 0.17%. And willful and wanting disregard for safety. Just in case you didn't know, smaller people like this driver generally get drunk quicker than larger people, assuming the same amount of alcohol is consumed. This happens because the alcohol is concentrated in a smaller body mass. The driver was as thin as a pencil in certain areas. So, the two shots that the driver consumed can cause a smaller person like herself to become inebriated because factors like body size, weight, and metabolism influence how alcohol is processed. A standard shot is considered 1.5 ounces of 80 proof alcohol, which is 40% alcohol by volume. With a lower body mass, a smaller person will have a higher alcohol concentration in their blood compared to a larger person consuming the same amount of alcohol, increasing their chances of intoxication. It was a great choice that the drivers on that highway made by contacting the police because this situation had the potential to take a turn for the worse had this driver continue to drive. Well, that concludes my analysis of this video and I will catch you on the next one. Peace. >> If you haven't subscribed to the Prime Analyzer channel, you are missing out on great content.
