How did you get the mark on her eye? >> I have no clue. I wasn't in her car. >> Well, we were here right after you left and it was there, so it had to have happened sometime pretty quick. >> She came up with the hand downstairs and I had my other stairs to get my stuff and she came up with the boat, told me to get up and I was just like, "No, you aren't." And I was like, >> You don't have anything in your pockets, do you? >> Yeah, I got bombs, guns, and heroin. >> Domestic abuse is always ugly, but when kids are involved, it becomes especially heartbreaking. From irresponsible moms to narcissistic dads, when they become too much to bear, that's when [music] a kid secretly calls 911 on toxic parents. >> I let him cool off. He walked this way and I went around that way and came up and sat over there and then I moved over here. When this car pulled up, I was sitting at the gas pump. I wasn't that far. I seen everything. >> On October 14th, 2024, a woman later identified as Nashaquita Felix left her 11-year-old son unsupervised at a gas station. The poor boy thought his mom had abandoned him. >> 911, what's the address of your emergency? >> Um, where we at? You're at Racetrack on Sandhill. >> Okay, what's the phone number you're calling from in case we get disconnected? >> Call my mom. She dropped me off here because I had to my feet on her charger. >> Okay, your mother dropped you off there? >> Uh-huh, she does. >> So, how exactly can I help you? >> Can I get a police down here? >> Okay, and how old are you? >> I'm 11. >> Okay, just give me 1 second here. Are you there with the workers right now? >> Uh-huh. >> All right, if you just want to wait there with the workers, we're going to have the deputies on the way over there to meet with you, okay? >> Officers were dispatched to the gas station, where they found Nashaquita waiting outside, who instantly claimed her son had ADHD and ODD. >> He's mad because he had to get picked him his aunt's house. >> Okay. >> home. >> Okay. >> We live in Bradenton and we're coming from Fort Myers. He's the whole time he's been kicking and acting the fool in the backseat, so I pulled over and he jumps out. >> Okay. >> So, I seen a lady talk to him and take him in the store, but I just sat here and watched to see what was going to happen. >> Okay. >> I need help with this child and I keep telling people this, but I'm a single parent of five. >> Mhm. >> It's only so much I can do. His dad is locked up and he does not want to listen to me. >> Okay. >> So, I don't know what else to do but teach him a lesson. >> Okay. And did you ever leave at any point? >> No. No. I was right over here in the other parking lot watching. >> Were you all getting gas or you went in to get something or >> No. >> Okay. Were you all getting food? >> to see what was his issue. >> Oh, while he was kicking and screaming? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And then he just jumped out and took off? >> out. >> And he he came here? >> And we were over here, so when nobody like being in our business and I was trying to calm down talk to him. >> And he just jumped out. And he started walking this way, so I tried to follow him. >> Yeah. >> And then he I just went over there and let him calm down. >> Officers then went to talk to the gas station manager who accompanied the 11-year-old boy while they waited for the cops. The boy told him a different version of Nashaquita's parenting style. >> She told him? >> She does this whenever she gets mad at him. There's five kids total. And he's the one that she dropped off today. She's done it before at the convenience stores or Walmart. She drops them off just for a little while and then comes back and gets them. She said she has got a feeling she's not coming back tonight cuz she was really mad. >> So, you already talked to The mom in here or you already talked to him before? >> if mom is here. >> When the officers talked to the son, he said his mom had left him three or four times before and the most recent one was only a week ago. He had other siblings, but Nashaquita never left them before, just him. >> Why do you think she does this? You don't know? Is she mad at you? Why is she mad at you? >> Because I stepped on her charger. >> You stepped on her charger? And she threatened you here? Okay. Did she say anything to you like when she pulled in the parking lot? Did she say anything when you got out of the car? And did she know where you were going? And where did you go? >> All right, when she dropped me off I had went over there. Not sure when I went inside. >> Yeah. >> And I was going to use the bathroom then I went back outside. Then I went to the exit door and checked out where I was and that way >> What time >> I went in there and called the police. >> The boy confirmed his mom had already left when he came out of the gas station and that he didn't know where she'd gone. He hadn't been throwing a tantrum like his mom said, so they tried to get to the bottom of why she'd been so upset over a charger. >> And did it unplug the phone? No. She didn't like that your foot was on it? And so she got off the highway and came and parked here? Did she need anything? Did she say she needed gas or a snack? Nothing? >> Did she take you out of the car or anything? You just got out on your own? >> No. On the highway she told me to get out get out of the car. >> On the highway she told you to get out of the car? Okay, but then when she got over here and parked down the road what happens? Did she say anything? >> No. >> She didn't say anything she just parked there? And and you got out to come use the bathroom? Did she know that? She didn't know you were getting out? >> She didn't know that I was getting out. >> Okay, cuz she told you to get out? Okay. >> She told you to get out while you were on the highway? >> She told me you have to get out of my ex-boyfriend's car cuz I'm not getting in this car with you. >> Okay, and then you just got out? >> Since the little boy's story completely contradicted what Nasha Quieta had told them, the officers went out to interview her again. First, they asked if she'd be willing to give a sworn recorded statement and she agreed. >> Ma'am, are you under the influence of any drugs or alcohol? >> No. >> All right, do you understand the meaning of perjury? >> Yes. >> And what does perjury mean to you? >> It's lying under oath. >> Lying under oath, lying, omitting, leaving stuff out on purpose. That's a crime in the state of Florida, do you understand that? All right, prior to taking this sworn statement, I'm going to place you under oath. Can you raise your right hand? Do you swear or affirm the statement you're about to give be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? >> Yes. >> All right, you can put your hand down. All right, can you tell me what happened tonight between you >> Okay, so we don't have power in Bradenton. >> Yeah. >> So we went to Fort Myers so we could have water, lights, and have hot food. >> Of course. >> So I took them to their aunt's house and I went to my sister's house and when I picked them up this morning, he didn't want to leave. We went and seen his um his dad's grandma and then he started showing out over there. He sat on the curb, said that he didn't want to get in the car. So I made him get in the car. >> Okay. >> The whole time he just had the attitude. I've been doing Ubering to where we can get something to eat because my funds are low. >> Yeah. >> And um when I took in got on 75, we used the bathroom. Everybody got cups of ice. He got mad at the fact that I didn't let him get a cup of ice cuz he wet the bed. Now mind you, they've been drinking water all day >> Yeah. >> because I took them to the park so they need to hydrate themselves. >> Yeah. >> So when we get over there, he didn't want to take in um he got mad. He stood behind the little post with an attitude and didn't want to take and get in the car. >> Yeah. Now Shakita confirmed that her son was on medication but claimed he'd not taken it that morning because he was at his aunt's house. Then she continued with her story about how her son ended up alone at the gas station. >> So we get in the car, we're on our way to Bradenton and he's taking it just showing out in the back seat, moving, and kicking stuff as he usually does when he get mad. He tries to break and destroy my belongings. >> Okay. >> So I pulled over to try to get him to calm down and see what was going on. >> Where did you pull over at? >> I pulled over over here on the side. >> Side of the racetrack? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I'm talking to him, talking to him, talking to him. He just jumps out like he didn't have want to have to hear whatever I had to say. >> Mhm. >> Like I was just totally in the wrong in telling him he didn't need anything to drink. >> Okay. >> It's already after hours and I didn't want him to pee. >> Yeah. >> I let him cool off. He walked this way and I went around that way and came up and sat over there and then I moved over here. When this car pulled up, I was sitting at the gas pump. >> Mhm. >> I wasn't that far. I seen everything. >> Yeah. >> So, I don't understand why he doesn't want to go home or why he has an attitude. I don't understand that. He just has to abide by the rules. >> Nashaquita then denied both telling her son to get out of the car and being mad at him. She claimed her son was the one who'd been upset and she'd simply been trying to calm him down, which is why she'd left him. >> And how long were you planning on letting him go off for? >> Uh it was not even 10 15 minutes >> Okay. >> before I doubled back. >> Where did you see him go to, walk to, all that stuff? >> I seen the lady talking to him once he walked back down this way and stood over there at the corner where I where he got out of the car. >> All right. Yeah. >> I seen the lady talking to him and she took him inside, so I already know what's going to happen next. >> Okay. And uh why didn't you try to go inside and get him? >> I don't know. I'm tired. >> I I got you. >> my feet are swelling? >> Yep. >> All I've done is tried to provide for these children. That's it. >> That's stressful. Stressful. You got five five kids. >> It is and I don't have any help. >> Yeah. >> That's why he moved to Bradenton and I haven't been up there a whole a month yet. Moving to Bradenton thinking I could, you know, find something better to help them and myself, but it's only been drama and problems since day one. I'm just sick of it. >> Have you reached out for help? >> I have called for him. Um if you look under Lee County because that's where we're from, he has a long history of running away >> Yeah. >> and just doing whatever he wants to do and I'll call the police every time. >> Uh he said you he thought you were mad at him because he stepped on a phone charger or something. >> No, he was back there kicking my seat. >> Yeah. >> And I've asked him not to do that. >> Yeah. >> But I'm driving that's what he's doing back there just >> Going crazy. >> Okay. >> And his brother was back there. He seen all of it. >> Okay. And be 11-year-old that >> Yeah, that's the claim. >> Since she was claiming her other kids had witnessed the incident and she was sticking to her story that went against what her 11-year-old claimed, the officer tried interviewing the two young witnesses. >> Can you all tell me what happened in the car with your brother and your mom? It's okay. You You want to go You want to walk somewhere else? Okay, what happened? >> Um >> He Your brother's not in trouble. >> Oh, yeah. Um so so when when my when my sister had came to come She came upstairs, came to >> Um >> and got me. And and I was And I was asking to try to stay. My brother he just got up and left, right? So so my cousin's boyfriend is telling telling him to grab his shoes cuz cuz he don't want to forget. So the boyfriend comes downstairs and give give me the shoes. So and so I did I put them right back I put them right back in the trunk. And then and then um my brother he's he's just sitting like the third the second story >> Is he Is he behaving? >> No. >> He's not behaving. >> All right, so what happens when you guys get in the car and start driving down here? >> He he starts he starts acting up. He starts mumbling up under his breath talking about my mother. He he he he don't he don't like listening to her. >> Yeah. >> Basically. And then he mostly like uh Trey. Yeah, he he likes Mountain Dew more than that. >> Okay. >> And then when we go to the gas station, we stopped I I'm not Okay, so we we we going inside the store. We want to go use the bathroom, but the girls' bathroom was she cuz she cuz she couldn't use it cuz the waitresses was cleaning up, right? Okay. And then we we go we go to the ice area. My brother my brother can't get none cuz it's peanut butter. >> Yeah. >> And then [music] >> That all happened here? >> Yeah, no. >> Where was that at? >> Four miles. >> Four miles, okay. >> Yeah. >> So far the kids' story seemed to back up their mom's version of events. They also told the officers their brother had gotten mad over the cup of ice and that's why Nashakita had driven off and left him. But as the questioning continued, there came a shocking twist. >> Did y'all know where he was? >> No. >> Did were able to see him at all? >> Uh-uh. >> Did you know that he was still even in here? >> Uh-uh. >> Okay. How long was he in here? How long did you not see him? >> About like 20 20 minutes. >> Like 20 minutes? >> Yeah. >> What like 2 hours. >> 2 hours? Okay. >> Yeah, cuz cuz what cuz when my mother pulled We we didn't see him cuz cuz we cuz cuz >> 31 did. >> My mother pulled up in the in the back looking for him. And then we we couldn't find him so my mother backed up and then that that's that's when y'all came. >> Okay, so you weren't sure where he was. >> Uh-uh. >> Okay. Does he do this Does he Does he do this a lot? >> Yes. >> Okay. Does your mom Does your mom normally go look for him? She does? Okay. Has mom done this to you? >> No. >> The kids confirmed it wasn't the first time Nashaquita had left their brother because of his bad behavior. The officer then returned to the worrying fact that none of them had known where he was and they repeated that she'd been looking for him. You know, was she worried? >> [music] >> What what was she saying? >> She she was she was saying where where where where he at? And then and then that that's when she had pulled around around the back door and looked and we started looking for him. My my mother my mother said, "Where where where Y'all Y'all see y'all Y'all see Y'all see y'all brother?" And we and we said, "No." because cuz we we couldn't see him in the back. And then we and then we pulled around to the front and we and we didn't see him. >> Were you worried about him? No, not really. A little bit. You didn't know where he was. >> Along with the worrying new information the kids had given, the CCTV footage clearly showed Nashaquita leaving her son for at least 20 minutes and that she'd not had eyes on him like she'd claimed. The employee who'd been on the register at the time also gave a statement. >> So, I was at work. Normal night, I was standing at the register. A little boy came up and he stood two registers down so I asked him if there was anything I could help him with. I mean, not the first time a kid comes in alone. He asked me if I had the phone if I had a phone he could use, so I let him use the store phone. I asked him if he needed to make a call, and he said yes, so I just handed him the store phone. He made a call. He was on the phone in front of my register, so amongst hearing his conversation, I realized what was going on. >> he talking to? >> Well, he was talking to the sheriff's office. He called 911, but I thought maybe he was on the phone with a family member. I mean, he was talking about dropped him off. >> Yeah. >> And that he needed to be picked up, so I thought maybe he called like a family member like like someone was meeting him here or something. [music] And then he was like, "She got mad at me. I put my phone on the charger and I left." So, I asked him I said uh started or leave you here. And he goes, "Yeah, she got mad at me and left." I said, "Are you on the phone with the sheriff's department?" And he goes, "Yeah." I said, "Okay, no problem. That's fine. That's what I was making sure you called them because if not, I needed to." So, then he finished his phone call, and he got off the phone. I asked what you guys said. You told me that they said they would be here soon, so I just grabbed him some snacks and a drink. I put him behind the counter until you guys showed up, but he just dropped him off and left, and it wasn't the first time. And that she does it often when she gets mad. >> Nasha Quito was arrested and taken to jail, where she was charged with child neglect. Her children were picked up by their aunts, and Florida DCF investigated the case. On October 26, 2025, officers received a call from an 18-year-old, [music] later identified as Isabella, who reported an argument between her parents that had turned violent. When they arrived, she came out to greet them. >> Hi. >> Hi. How are you? >> Um My mom locked herself in the bathroom, so yeah. >> And dad? >> Hm? >> Dad? >> He's in the room cleaning up. She kind of threw everything everywhere, so yeah. I don't know. I don't know like I don't know. They've been fighting for like 2 days now. It's just getting like she's throwing stuff, and he's like trying to get her stop throwing stuff. It's just >> Can you get one of them to come out here and talk to me? >> Yeah. >> [music] >> Hey. >> Hey. Good. How are you? >> I'm doing all right. >> What's going on, man? >> Uh my wife is mad. Uh she hit me in the face. Started throwing all my stuff around earlier, so I know. That's all right. >> You mind explaining to me a little bit more? >> Uh well She hit me in the face and started throwing all of my stuff. >> Right. I mean just just more details about exactly what's going on. >> Um well she's mad. Is that She told me to go out with some friends last night, so I went out with them. I came back. She was upset. And then uh she left, came back. I was in the house. I was cleaning up. I was going through my records, and she came in and said, "After this this I'm just going to go home." Hit me in the face, pushed me out of the chair, and started throwing my >> How did she hit you? >> the eye with her purse. >> No. Just come down here, please. >> He can't come inside. >> I can go in. >> There's no >> He can't come inside. >> Yeah. >> I want him to come inside so he can see that it was just things thrown. Please come inside, sir, if you would like. >> The officers proceeded to follow the family into their home and through the kitchen. The mom didn't seem to care about talking to the cops in front of her kids, even though Isabella was clearly upset by the incident. >> I'm in there with my mom. I'm talking to him. >> Can I talk to your wife? >> He's 18. That's okay. >> Oh, yeah. She's 18. She's an adult. Reagan, please go. >> All right. So sir, I mean so the what what we need is a conversation without you two being in the same room. >> Oh, yeah. Okay. >> Um I can show you the Yeah. You want Uh real quick, what's your name? >> My name is Jane Doe. >> Jane Doe, okay. >> I know you. >> Did you see what happened? >> I did, yes. >> Okay. >> She saw me throwing my stuff. >> Yes, after [music] >> I I did not feel like he's saying. >> the door after he said that. >> Okay. >> After having a quick chat with the mom, Jamie, the officers then took her husband's statement. They followed him to the bedroom where the aftermath of the fight was in full display. >> I had this on the fridge. Took this thing and threw it on the street light. [music] Destroyed my restroom. >> Breaking everything or just making a mess? >> Breaking it out of the cabinets for some reason. >> So, just making a mess, not breaking anything. >> Uh >> Because we're separating or not? >> I don't think we were, but apparently maybe now. >> Because yeah, like I went out. She went out. They were doing They were doing that zombie walk thing. I went out out with my friends and they're side by side. We're in the We're at the pizza place. I had a couple beers and they showed up there and she got upset. >> And then? >> And then for some I went out, like I said, the side which is the plan. I didn't even want to do it, but she's like telling me to never call her. Go out. Go on my side. I didn't really want to. Okay, I called him. So, we went out and had fun and I came back. I guess she called the cops last night, too, for some reason. >> Okay. >> I wasn't even here. I would come home and then she threatens, "I'm going to call the cops if you don't leave." So, I left and went to my in-laws. >> The husband then explained that Jamie had told him she wanted to talk, [music] so he'd come back only to be told he needed to leave. But, he claimed he hadn't done anything wrong, so she'd left [music] and when she came back, things turned physical. >> Do you mind if I look a little closer at your face? Just so I can see if you're bruised or cut or >> Yeah, she >> I can't raise your That's right there. No, I don't see anything. I'm not saying it didn't happen. >> Yeah, she >> saying it's for some type of >> Jim, it wasn't a open fist. It was I was just sitting here going through these records. I just looked up and she came in and just Yeah, pushed Well, pushed me out of the office and just pushed my shoulder or what? But she in the face. So >> Next, the officers needed to take Jamie's statement. Surprisingly, her version of events was similar to her husband's until it got to the matter of her hitting him >> [music] >> and whether he'd done anything wrong. >> So, miss Jamie, um the reason why we're here is Yeah, we got a call about Saying that you guys were arguing. Um do you just want to tell me a little bit about what happened during the argument? >> Yes, I got here. I had left because he decided not to leave after we had agreed he was going to leave from last night when we needed to call the cops. He comes. He decides he's not going to leave. I said, "Okay, fine. Then I will leave." I got my stuff. I left. I came back from still being angry. Like >> [music] >> 35 minutes maybe gone from the house if that. I came back. I was trying to talk to him in the room. He's sitting there. I said, "Look at me. Okay, like look look at me." Cuz he's like trying to not look at me while I'm trying to talk to him. >> This was last night, correct? >> No, this was yesterday, yeah. Last night was a whole other story. >> Okay. >> [music] >> He went out drinking with our friends and I found him with some woman in a bar sitting at that New York Slice Pizza Place all next to her. Turned like this talking. All happy-go-lucky. >> Last name? >> Last name. So, that's what stemmed all of this argument. >> Jamie went on to explain she'd called the cops the previous night because he was [music] drunk and refusing to leave. He then gone with Isabel to Jamie's parents. But it was when he'd come back that morning that the real problems had started. >> He came back in the morning. It was assumption that he was going to leave, packed to leave. Now he says, "No, he's not going to leave." So, then I said, "I'll leave." I left for 30 minutes. I came back. I was angry. He's in the room sitting on the chair trying not to look at me. So, then I said, "Look at me." Like, "Look at me." Cuz he's doing this to me. No, so then I got the stuff that he was in the records and I threw it. Not at him. Not like And it's a whole safe of stuff. So, like if I wanted to attack him or something, I have a safe. I threw it like that. >> Where was he when you threw it? >> In the chair. >> Don't worry. >> Sitting down. >> And where was that? >> The safe was on the bed. >> Okay. >> So, then I went I just threw it that way, but you can see. >> Okay. >> And then I went to the bathroom and I threw his toiletries. That was it. >> Jamie claimed that was when Isabella threatened to call the cops if they didn't stop fighting. Then Jamie went on to empty his bedside drawer. She maintained that she had just been throwing things and not attacking him, contrary to the husband's claim that she punched him. >> And that's when he was also saying that he was going to say that you would punch him. >> That I punched him. >> Okay. So, >> That I punched him. >> But it never got physical. He never put his hands on you. >> poke No, I poked him in the eye or like look at me. Like from the head sideways. So, like not like Like, you know, somebody's ignoring me like I said, "Look at me. Like look at me." >> And I'm just going to look what your name is. >> It's Isabella. >> Isabella? What What What did you see? >> Um so, I heard them yelling. >> outside. >> Okay. >> You can tell us down here. What did you see, miss? >> So, um my mom comes home. She's obviously distraught. We had had a whole family conversation about who is going to leave. So, it wasn't in the agreement that my father was going to leave the house. We were having a conversation as a family. Um she decides that she's going to leave. She grabs all of her stuff, takes it, goes. I don't know where she went. So I'm sitting on the couch. We're talking with my little brother about things. We're talking about what we're going to do for his birthday. Um I'm doing my homework and then um she comes in, busts in the door, goes straight to her room where my dad is. Um he she starts arguing. They just argue with each other. Um I immediately go over there like from the couch to the room. Um the door is locked so I unlock the door. I walked in and my dad's like, "Your mom just punched me. Your mom just punched me in the eye." I look at his eye. It's visibly red. So I asked her, "Why did you put your hands on my dad?" And she's throwing stuff. There's stuff everywhere. Throwing stuff off the table, throwing stuff out of his bathroom, throwing the bedside table. >> When asked about the alleged punching incident, Isabella confirmed [music] she hadn't seen Jamie, her dad, but she was sure that his dad's eye wasn't red before the confrontation. Officers then made the decision to place Jamie under arrest. >> All right, ma'am. You want to go to jail for battery on a household member. Can you stand up for me? >> [snorts] >> Hands behind your back, please. >> So uh she didn't make any indication of anything to pursue charges. Uh you know, we can deem then we have to pursue charges. If you don't, [snorts] >> No, I don't have to do that. >> No, then if you don't, it's fine. Uh your choice to go to court is your choice. >> from punch to poke. >> So did you push me in the face? >> It was more than a punch, too. >> Don't be going to jail. >> So for now she's going to jail. Uh she'll be out probably tomorrow, Monday, so just give it time. Uh like I said, it's going to be your decision if you want to go to court or not. I say it's not your choice to pursue charges. We have to do it Just per the Mexico. Um, do you have any other questions for her? No, she's just a subject. And she'll be released on bond promising to to appear in court another day. >> Based on the statements, the officers decided there was probable cause to arrest Jamie for battery on a household member. She remained cooperative through the booking process despite her obviously fiery temper. On December 5th, 2025, a little girl called 911 only to hang up mid-call. It sounded like a domestic disturbance was going on in the background, and it wasn't the first call from the property. So, officers raced to the scene. The little girl had already gone to a neighbor's house. So, the officers spoke to the mom, Emily. >> Hello. >> I just sent your daughter. >> Uh, what's going on tonight? >> So, we got into an a disagreement and then she booked it. After I turned off her phone, she tried to hit my phone. I was like, "You're not taking my phone." And she was really aggressive with me. She tried to run out the back door. I stopped her. She didn't like that. She ran out the front door. I stopped her. And then finally she ran out the front door and finally got out. >> All right. Do you want her back tonight? >> I don't know. >> Um, apparently that 3017 who's who lives there? >> 3017? >> Yeah. >> Like the neighbor one of the neighbors. >> Okay. Do you know who that is? >> I don't know. >> Okay. So, was there any physical violence tonight? >> no. She wasn't nice to me. I tried to take her phone from her. I turned it off. She didn't like it. She came and took my phone and was aggressive towards me when I tried to stop her from leaving the house. >> Okay. Um, did she she get pushed down the stairs or anything like that? >> No, I took my phone from her. And then I still barely got it to call you guys. >> When asked if the little girl, Madison, would tell them any different, Emily claimed it was always different with her daughter. She said her daughter made statements of self-harm, but claimed she had tried to get her daughter help. >> Did she say anything tonight when she left about >> She was really sad and and so on, and she wanted to go to a basketball game for her friend, and she couldn't do that, and was mad, and everything's so hard, and I get it, but I don't know Like I'm sorry it's hard, and things can't always happen, like >> It's hard for everyone right now. It doesn't really matter what age or situation you're in. Yeah, we'll go there and talk to you. If you want to go back in and say more, um so you're Emily, correct? >> You don't have to be cold, either, though. We can be cold together. I'm glad that she didn't go that far. Like And this is a thing, too. Like what what at what point does like her running away from me like what point do I be like It is really cold. >> It is really cold. As I said, you can go inside. I'm just waiting for my partner to get here at this point. >> Is it the one on the end? >> It's either the one at the end or the one with the light on. I'm not sure. I have to go there and look in a minute. >> The officer's partner went around to the neighbor's house. It was clear from the moment she walked [music] in that Madison was very upset, and only became more distraught as she talked about what happened. >> What's going on today? >> I don't know. She didn't do anything, but she didn't want to stop me. She called you guys, and she's trying to act like I didn't do it. Okay. Don't let her leave me. Oh, no. Okay, everything was done. Why are you bleeding? It was my mom that did it. Yeah, it was. It was her. Okay. That's from the cabinet. That was my mom. Okay, just now? >> get her off of me. >> All right. Is she Is she Was Has she been running tonight? Okay. Do you need to see a medic for your hand? >> I don't know. >> Madison was asthmatic, [music] so the officer checked if she needed her inhaler and asked again if she wanted to see a doctor, but she said no to both. The officer then asked if she could walk her through everything that happened. >> I don't even know what happened. She just yelled at me because I was upset and [snorts] I didn't want to talk to her every single time I told her to chill. She wasn't listening. She just yelled at me because I was upset. >> [laughter] >> I just went to my room and she just yelled at me and said I didn't want to do the Christmas tree with her. And I told her [laughter] that we could just do it. I didn't care. I was fine. And she didn't want to do it and she just kept yelling at me. So I went upstairs and she called me and told me So I came downstairs and my mom and she just kept yelling at me and getting in my face. And then she like went to me and I went and got the dog. I told her to leave me alone. >> She then said [music] she'd asked her mom to stop, but Emily just yelled at her to go upstairs and turned off her phone so she couldn't call anyone for help. It was heartbreaking to hear her talk about how she knew something bad was going to happen whenever her [music] mom did that and how scared it made her feel. >> So at what point did this happen? >> Wait, so I took her phone so I could call you guys cuz I was scared she was going to do something and then she did. She grabbed me. [laughter] >> She wouldn't get off of me. >> She wouldn't get off of me and I kept like moving my body to get her off of me. And [laughter] then then I tried to go upstairs and then she dragged me down the stairs and I hit my head. >> Okay, what did you hit your head on? >> I don't know. I think one of the stairs. She wouldn't get off me and then I just like I dragged her down the stairs. And [snorts] then I tried to call you guys and she just kept coming after me. >> What does your other wrist like, sweetie? >> I don't know. Like I know she like scratched me a little bit like on my arms. I don't know. I just like felt it. >> [snorts] >> Do you have any other marks on you, do you think? Do you know who else she got you? Where'd you hit your head at? >> Like right here. Like here in the like back of my head. >> The first officer went back to Emily and asked about letting her daughter go to her grandma's for the night to give everyone a chance to calm down. But Emily was adamant she wanted her daughter back at home. The officers then discussed the situation. >> So, I mean, dude, this is messy. So, here's here's the problem. If she is trying to get away from mom, if mom grabs her, that in and of itself is not domestic violence, right? >> But she's got scratches and and and she she is bleeding. >> Is that because she's pulling away or because mom is abusing her? Or is she trying to take mom's phone and mom is trying to get it back? >> Or she's trying to get her own phone back and mom's saying You know what I mean? >> Well, she says that she keeps trying to get her phone back to call us when stuff gets like this. So, there's been We've been out here a multiple times and it's been code code two. >> Well, I mean, if it's going to be a code one, it's going >> We can't keep letting her this girl down. >> I mean, I I >> Not necessarily saying an arrest, but we have to do something. >> There's going to be at minimum a referral. There's going to be a I mean, we can do a referral. I don't have an issue with that. >> But I do not feel comfortable letting this girl stay stay with her. >> What legal authority do we have to remove her? >> I mean, we don't, but >> That's the problem. 247A. >> She has been pulled. >> Let's ask her. >> No self-harm today, but she took off her hoodie and there's more marks. She has a big um it's not bruised yet, but it looks like they're like a a hard grab. Um there's a mark right here and then there's like a small mark on the back of her neck. >> When asked if her mom had choked her, Madison said Emily had grabbed her hoodie, which restricted her breathing, but she'd also sat on her, which made her feel completely [music] choked. >> And how did she get all that blood on her again? >> What do you mean? >> She has a whole bunch of cuts on her on her hands, and they're bleeding significantly. >> She I mean, I don't I have no idea. >> Okay. Um, she also has two significant arms uh marks on each bicep. What what could that be from? >> From me grabbing her when she was trying to run out of the house. >> Okay. Um, now she's saying that you dropped her down the stairs. She hit her head. >> I did not drop her down the stairs. >> Um, you have no idea how she got the marks on her hands? >> I have no idea. >> Okay. How did she get the mark on her neck? >> I don't know. >> At any point did you grab her hoodie? >> The back of it, yeah. >> Okay. At any point did you sit on top of her? >> No. >> Emily was given a chance to come up with a solution to avoid the repeated call outs, [music] so she suggested a Huckleberry House, but then she made the mistake of saying her daughter felt unsafe with her. >> There is a Why is she feeling unsafe here? >> [snorts] >> I tell her no. She has rules. I mean, I don't like I don't know. >> So, your statement in this story has gaps in it. It doesn't make sense. Okay? Your daughter has marks on her. Okay? That is consistent with her falling. Whether she was [music] fell down the stairs, or whatever it is. Did she slip and fall? Did you grab her and she slipped and fell? Like, ex- explain that to me, cuz it doesn't make sense. >> I don't know. I really don't know. Okay, here's the situation right now. Okay, you're going to be under arrest for domestic violence. Okay? >> Okay, put your hands behind your back. Here are your handcuffs. >> All right. Wait on. Is this scratch over here? >> Yes, walk down this way. >> There's blood in in this now. Like she hurt herself before she even got outside. >> Where? >> So I was just held like that just now. >> Where? >> Right there. I mean it looks red. Turn that off. >> It's the fire truck. Walk because this is what's going to make me see >> Well, I thought I saw it. Like I don't know. I did not I did >> We're we're done. >> All right, let's go. >> Emily made another lame attempt to defend her actions by claiming she had marks on her, too. >> Where? >> But the female officer couldn't see any cuts or bruises. She was charged with domestic violence, assault, and endangering children. On March 25th, 2026, officers received a call about a domestic disturbance involving a mother of two, later identified as Tracy, and her 14-year-old daughter. Her husband, Timmy, was the one who greeted the officers when they arrived. >> I'm so sorry. >> What's going on? >> I just you all going to have to talk to my daughter. I don't I can't do it this >> Okay, where's your daughter at? >> She's in her room. >> Okay, where's her room at? I ain't never been in the house. Okay. Is this room right here? This room right here, boss? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Hi. I'm officer children. So what's going on? Okay. You want Okay, come out here in the light where I can see. Just step right over here, okay? >> When the officer took a better look at Timmy's daughter, he saw a nasty scratch on her face. First, he checked if it needed cleaning, then asked what had caused the injury. [music] >> I don't really know. Whenever I got home, she was just kind of screaming and mad at and And then she just kind of got mad at me and I don't know what I did, but she kept saying I know what I did. I don't know. >> Okay. Okay. So, what I'm going to have you do is I'm going to have you look to your right. Keep your eye open and close it. I'm going to try to take a picture, okay? [music] You got any got any other marks? Did she grab you on your arms at all anywhere or anything like that? >> No. >> That's the only thing. You think she scratched you with her fingernail, maybe? >> She's scratched me before like right here. That's where she grabbed me before. >> Mhm. That was a while back. >> Yeah. Like a week or so. >> Okay. >> Meanwhile, the officer's partner talked to Timmy, who claimed that the scratch on his daughter's face was from Tracy smacking the little girl's glasses off. He also had scratches on his hand, [music] so the officer asked the two of them to sit in his car with him where they could fill out the paperwork. >> What do we have to do to make her happier with us? >> Well, I mean, at this point, I mean, it's a domestic situation with marks and stuff, so I'm going to the state's going to take over either way. >> So, it's our fault. >> But I'm giving you an opportunity. Um if you're willing to give me a written statement as well to go along with it, okay? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay, you're willing to do that? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I might have video as well. >> You have video as well? >> Um after beating on the door. >> Okay. And that's from tonight? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, there's one for you and one for her. I don't have any extra pens or else I could give you an extra pen, but >> Sir, I'm not Sorry, I'm not trying to be over dramatic. >> no, it's a big situation in my life. >> I don't know what I just it's really hard for me to integrate with this after 17 years. No matter what she does, I always I want the best for her. >> I understand. >> I don't care how bad I look. >> And this may be the first step to getting her the help she needs, you know what I mean? >> I just I know it's hard just for me to really I don't think that she needs that help, you know? I just I think she's a good woman cuz I love her. >> Yeah. >> She's good. Can't get no better than her. Beautiful. >> The father and daughter were willing to give written statements, but it was clear Timmy loved his wife. Other officers were trying to locate Tracy, so the officer explained to Timmy what would happen next. >> Okay. So, what I'm going to do is we're going to go and look for her. See if we can locate her. If she comes back, call us, okay? Um that way we can do the rest of what we have to do. I think that's that's probably going to be our our best option. >> She's a very good woman. >> I know. And I know she's not going to cause us any issues, but I mean, with what what we've got here and everything, you know, it's not something that is taken lightly by the state. So, we'll see if we locate her. If she comes back, just call us. Don't say that you called us. Like, as soon as she pulls up, just call us, say, "Hey, she's back at the house." We'll come up. But, we're going to try and locate her. And that way we can deal with it. >> It wasn't long before Tracy returned home. The officers had dealt with her before and were aware she could be a perfectly nice person like Timmy had said, but they also knew she had a drinking problem. >> How's it going? >> It's going. >> What's going on tonight? >> Not too much. >> Not too much? >> Yeah. >> Well, that's not what we've been told. >> Okay. >> So, we got a call earlier. Did you and your daughter get into it? >> No. My daughter has been in trouble. Yeah, she lost her phone. >> Okay. So, you guys didn't get into a fight or anything? >> No. >> So, what was your guys' argument about? Cuz you guys got in an argument. We were here earlier. >> She She lost her phone. Yeah. >> Okay. So, you guys just were arguing about her losing her phone? >> Yeah, she got in trouble and lost her phone. She's back talking to him now. >> Yeah. How'd she get the mark on her eye? >> I have no idea. How was I going to have to do that? >> Well, we were here right after you left, and it was there. So, it had to have happened sometime. Pretty quick. >> Well, it wasn't from me. >> Okay. Well, she's claiming it is. >> Okay. I haven't got to speak with my [music] daughter since I left. >> Okay. Well, you're probably not going to cuz you're going to be under arrest for domestic violence. Okay. >> But, please don't do this. Let me talk to my daughter. >> No. Come here. >> Okay. I I did not >> All right. You got it. Come on. >> Yes, sir. >> Have you been drinking today? >> No. >> Are you sure? Cuz I can smell it. So, you want to try again? >> Mhm. No, sir. >> The officer explained that she [music] wouldn't be getting a DUI because he hadn't witnessed her driving. But, she still insisted she didn't have a drink. Then he went into more detail about what she was [music] getting arrested for. And her reaction was surprising. >> But, this is I mean, they gave us statements about what happened. >> Yeah. >> My daughter? >> And she's got I mean, it's a giant scratch on her face. >> On my daughter? >> Yes. That's why you're going to jail now. >> Okay, can I please speak with my daughter? >> I can go ask them if she wants to talk to you, but you know what? >> Please. >> Police department. >> Honey. Honey. Tell them this is not right. Honey. >> Yeah, talk to your daughter. >> Yes, that's what I'm trying to do. Sister. >> The daughter said she didn't want to speak to her mom. The officer then explained the situation was now a state matter because of the daughter's injuries. Then the daughter and her brother told him about when Tracy got home. >> She was screaming at Aiden on the phone. >> Go to the door. >> She cussed me out. >> Yeah, and there was also she was drinking too cuz it was an alcohol bottle. >> Like I said, I can smell it. >> All right. >> I I can smell it. So, I wondered cuz she was standing out there and it looked like you guys weren't letting her in. But, then as soon as I got out of the car, she got in. So, I said, "Did you unlock it for her?" You're not in any trouble. I don't care. If your >> I went for a run talking to my >> If If your mom's yelling at you, you're going to open the door. I know I would. >> She hit my kid. >> Yep. Okay. You're not in any trouble. It's okay. All right. Well, like I said, she'll be going with us and then uh she'll see a judge [music] tomorrow, okay? Well, I mean, maybe maybe this will just be the wake-up call to get her to stop doing this. You know what I'm saying? I mean, something's got to give if if the drinking leads to this kind of action, it can't be allowed, okay? >> That is a giant iguana. >> The officer made his way back outside, but Tracy wasn't done pleading with her family. It seemed like she still thought she could avoid a trip to jail if she just begged hard enough. >> Honey, please. Are you kidding me? I want to Can I talk to my >> She does not want to talk to you. >> Can I please talk to my daughter? >> She doesn't want to talk to you. >> kidding me? >> [snorts] >> Honey, give me a hug, please. Okay, give me a hug. >> Stay down here. He can come down here. He can come down here if he wants to. >> Come here, give me a hug, honey, please. Please. >> Yeah, you can give her a hug if you want to. >> Honey. I'm I'm really sorry, please. >> You didn't do anything wrong, honey. This isn't you. You did not do anything wrong. >> Honey. >> Well, she did. That's why she's going to jail. >> I did not do anything wrong. I have not touched my child. Why would you say that? >> As Tracy was led over to the officer's squad car, they explained it was nothing to do with her family's statements at that [music] point. It was the fresh injury on her daughter that gave them no choice but to make an arrest. She was charged with domestic battery and child endangerment. On March 5th, 2026, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic incident involving a 17-year-old girl and her mom. They arrived to find the 17-year-old in distress [music] and immediately asked her what was going on. >> So, she was with these random people. I was trying to get her to go. I even called an Uber because she She let me drive her home. And then I was I called an Uber. >> Uh-huh. >> She wouldn't get in and then she was like, "You drive home." I was on the phone with my brother. She slapped me in the face. I couldn't see. And then she threw my phone. And then she just took off in the golf cart. >> What happened? >> Mom slapped the [ __ ] out of me. >> Mom. All right. >> This is my brother. >> Okay. You can hang out now. It's okay. Let us like figure out this first. Okay. >> I'm with the cop. >> Do you guys live together? >> Yeah. >> Where Where are you staying? >> Once the officers had all the details they needed, they drove the teenager back to her apartment. Upon arrival, she was able to lead them through the apartment complex [music] and to her family's room, but she did not have a key. >> 303 >> No, I'll call the assistant. Mom, just wait. Mom. Mom. Mom. >> I think she locked it. >> This is going to be a little 303. Okay, so which side are we going to get in? Um Can you call your brother later, please? So we can figure out this first. >> I'll call him later. Bye. >> Um >> I don't know. We're trying to get in. She locked it. >> Just tell him you're going to call him later. Let us Yeah. Figure out this box first. >> All right. Bye. >> Okay, so you guys were both on the golf cart, right? >> Yeah. Wait. >> Or not? >> Wait, what did you say? >> You were You were both sitting on the golf cart or not? >> Yeah. I tried to call an Uber because she wouldn't get in on the golf cart. She was with these random people I've never seen before. She was trying to have them drive us here and I'm like, "These people are not knowing where we live. I don't know them." So I called an Uber. She didn't want to do the Uber. I tried dragging her to the Uber. She didn't want to do it. And she wouldn't let me drive her in the golf cart here. Then she was finally after the random people left like "You can drive the golf cart." So then I get on it. There's this [snorts] homeless person talking to her and he was like when we finally drove away, he was like and then she just went slapped me in the face and threw my phone and I just jumped off and went and got my phone. >> The teenager confirmed her mom was behind the wheel after she jumped out to get her phone. The officers knocked on the apartment door, but it quickly became apparent that the mom didn't want to talk to them. >> Chew as police, open up, please. >> Yeah, where's the storage unit? >> Ma'am, we just want to talk to you. You're not in any trouble. >> I'm going to get the key from downstairs. >> Okay, do that. Thank you. Let me see. >> How much time is left on the clock? >> Stop. Still not opening it. Chop it. >> She's not going >> Ma'am, stop doing that. We're not We're not doing this. All right. All right. So, where's the elevator? >> I don't >> Elevator? >> Yes. >> Right here? >> Yes. >> Yeah, again, it's uh it's not like your daughter pressing charges. >> Yes. >> It's the state. It's It's just part of the job. There's nothing personal, but it is what it is. >> It is. >> So, we're going to be in McDowell County jail in less than 10 minutes and they will remove handcuffs immediately, all right? But until we get there, you must be in handcuffs. That's just our policy. Because we don't know We don't want to come back. Who knows what will happen next, you know? If you're both going to stay there. It's >> I'm staying. >> Yeah, I understand. see you. All right. Do you want to sit first and then I'll put this. So, it's not very comfortable, but it's still very less than 10 10 minutes. >> Okay. How do you know if she's there alone, she won't try to >> The mom's sudden concern for her daughter was a little too late [music] and may well have been a poor attempt to appear like a good mother. But, there is no denying the damage she'd caused, which resulted in a battery charge. On April 24th, 2025, officers were called to a residence by a distraught 13-year-old girl who claimed her mom had hit her. They arrived to find the daughter outside and still very upset. >> Hey, I'm Deputy Morris. What's going on? What's your name, honey? What happened? >> Oh, it's just that my mom hit me because I didn't want to eat because I felt sick. And then like they started arguing with me and saying that I was arguing with her. And I was just like, "I'm not." And like her fiance jumped in and then he was just angrily rude and then like kind of aggressive, so I told him to shut the [ __ ] up. And then she got mad at me and started hitting me. >> How'd she hit you? >> She like grabbed my arms and like knee'd me in the crotch and the face. >> The girl had noticeable injuries, which she confirmed were inflicted by her mom. But, when she was told medics were on their way, her response was truly heartbreaking. >> Will you stay here? >> Yeah, I'm staying right here with you. >> I'm sorry. >> Stop apologizing. Make it 53. Can I get EMS to my location? 13-year-old female with lacerations to the face. You want to sit in my car for right now? You want to sit in the back, okay? Yes, go ahead and pop on in there. So, did she hit you across the face with the belt? >> She hit me with the belt. She hit me like she was trying to get like my back and I wouldn't get up because she had like kept hitting me. I was trying to get my stuff together. >> How many times did she hit you? >> I'm not sure, but it was like it was a couple. >> Did she hit you with her hand first or the belt first? >> She hit me with the hand downstairs and then I had to like go upstairs to get my stuff. And she hit me came up with the belt, told me to get up and I was just like, "No, you already hit me once." And then she like hit my leg just now and then like when she left she >> Okay. That was all because you didn't want to eat dinner? And you told her fiance to shut the F up? Okay. Did he hit you or just mom? >> Mom, he was just like cussing at me and telling her to do it. >> The officer took photos of the girl's injuries as evidence and medics arrived to check her over. Meanwhile, [music] his partner went to talk to the mom and her fiance. >> How are you, sir? Appreciate you putting the dog >> No problem. >> You got a minute for me, man? >> Yeah. >> I have Deputy Moore, Sheriff's Office, Deputy Mom, Deputy Blair. I just want to let you know we're on body cameras. >> All right. >> So, what Can you tell me what happened What's going on tonight? >> So, she's acting out most of the day. She's been screaming at her sisters and her brothers. >> Okay. >> When we get home, she goes upstairs for a while. We tell her to come downstairs and when we tell her to come downstairs, she's locked up in the bathroom and tells me she's not going to eat supper and she's not feeling good. >> Okay. >> Mind you, she was doing fine enough to at her brothers and yell at her brothers and stuff earlier. And we're sitting I'm sitting there. And then that's when she Well, I'm not going to eat. I said, "Chloe, you need to eat something. Maybe that's what's wrong with your stomach. Just eat something. Something on your stomach, maybe that'll help." Well, all right, fine. I'll eat this pizza and I hope I choke on it. So, then she starts going and getting combative. And after that, she cussed at him and stuff. So, all this is going on in front of her her sisters and brother. >> [laughter] >> I told her I said, "Knock it the [ __ ] off." I went outside. I started smoking cigarettes. She went upstairs, started packing her >> According to the mom, her daughter then came downstairs accusing her of causing the marks on her face. But, the mom had no idea how they'd gotten there. But, it didn't look like the 13-year-old hurt herself. Given the genuine fear she'd shown, her story seemed much more believable. >> Was there any point like you spanked her or spanked her with a belt or anything like that? >> I popped her on the butt once with a belt. >> Okay. >> And then she got real combative and started kicking and And then she started swinging her hands and And it was like she was trying to come at me, so I I left the room to call the police. To de-escalate the situation. >> Did she get slapped in the mouth or popped in the face at all? >> No. She got She got spanked on her butt. With a belt, that's it. >> Okay. >> That was just It was a ass whooping, literally like two, three >> Was that legit? >> And she like started kicking and "Oh, GET OFF OF ME. YOU'RE choking me." >> And then but was it just right here? Okay. >> Everybody's watching. Everybody's watching. Nobody's saying don't ever choke me. She literally got an ass whooping, which we all got growing up. >> The officers had a quick discussion about the statements they'd been given. Since the parents hadn't given any explanation for the marks on their daughter's face, her story was still the more believable one. >> So, you are going to be going to jail tonight for domestic battery. All right? >> What did I do? >> Based on everything and all that, including the statement at the hospital, it's not self-inflicted. So, for time being, you're going to jail for domestic battery. All right, I won't cuff you up front, not behind your back, if you keep being cooperative with us, okay? >> What do you want me to do? Is it okay if I go put some pants and a long-sleeved shirt on? >> Why? I've got his number. >> It It's a short ride to the jail. They'll provide anything like that, okay? >> Let me call my mom. Hey, can I go inside? Can I please put some some pants on? I'm cold. >> It's very cold out there. >> This is crazy. You did nothing. >> You got to put your hands out for me, please. >> Babe, you did nothing. >> The mom was taken outside and was loaded in the back of the squad car. Then the officers returned to talk to her fiance, who was asking what would happen next. He had his phone on speaker as they returned to the house. >> This is This is her brother, the one that had custody of the kids. >> So, the the main reason that she is going tonight like uh Miss Holland is going tonight is they looked at her at the hospital. The nurses and not The medical staff there saying there's no way any of that is self-inflicted. >> Did you hear that? >> So, that our hands are tied because based on the evidence before us, we have to take action. >> Okay, so >> So, she will see a judge first thing in the morning. >> Okay. >> Um because obviously they don't have cash bail or anything, so she's she'll see a judge first thing in the morning. Um and the judge will decide, you know, if she can be released or has to be held until trial, something like that. So, she'll have an answer in the morning. More than, you know, based on this, they seem to Is this her first time being arrested here? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Um I can't give you an answer one way or another. There's a chance that they they'll probably release her, especially because obviously we're going to be taking protective protective custody of for the night. And DCFS will have to come take take custody of her. So, I can't make any promises. >> What about my kids? Cuz my kids had nothing to do >> So, the only reason we have to get their names, anytime kids are involved, we just have to get all the kids involved. >> You guys aren't taking them. >> No, no, no, no, no, no, we're not taking them. >> The officer then explained DCFS might send a case worker out to investigate, and his department would be doing their own digging. But he assured the fiance that no one would be taking the other kids away that night. The mom was taken to jail [music] and charged with domestic battery and child endangerment. On August 17th, 2025, a young boy called the cops about an argument between his parents. The call was just one of many. Each time officers [music] came to speak to the couple, the father, Brian, convinced them everything was okay, but that was all about to change. >> Okay. What happened? >> Oh, she's nuts. >> Okay, but >> [music] >> Today or >> Yeah, right now. Is this last night or today? >> This is last night. >> [laughter] >> So, you got to see it right there? >> Cuz she had a lamp in her hand. >> I see that, yeah. Was last [music] night though? What happened just now though? >> While the male officer went to talk to Brian's wife, Jamie, [music] the female officer tried to get to the bottom of what had happened that day. But Brian claimed he'd been in the garage the whole time and quickly went back to the argument the night before. >> Watch this Watch this all that She was about to smash me with that She had a lamp in her hand.
