And take it a step further to perform any act in that pretended capacity, such as attempting to pull someone over, directing traffic, or showing a fake ID. You can face up to 5 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. However, even if you just falsely claim to be a cop verbally without performing any official acts, you can be charged with a firstdegree misdemeanor. Based on reliable sources, the female suspect's grandmother contacted police complaining that after she asked her granddaughter to leave her home, her adult granddaughter allegedly dropkicked her in the bathroom so hard that the grandmother allegedly fell back into a hallway wall. The suspect's grandmother is partially blind and relies on a walker. A witness confirmed seeing the altercation and the victim being thrown from the room. Allegedly, the victim stated that she wasn't hurt badly, but the victim insisted on pressing charges. I do not know the exact charges the suspect was facing. However, I presume they were serious.
