The only way to teach is to communicate information not to become physical. Whenever a person becomes physical towards anyone, especially their child, they are devaluing their leadership and ability to teach. I completely disagree with anyone who believes that any type of level of physical discipline is required for a child to become obedient, productive or comply. Those are the misconceptions of a person who has an indoctrinated slave mindset and a cognitive internalization of subservience. Now, this female subject is describing and alleging crimes of a possible strangulation by the male suspect, discharging a firearm in public if the female suspect didn't aim the gun at the female victim. These are serious allegations and serious criminal charges if the suspects don't have a legal reason for their alleged actions when it's their turn to make their statements. The female suspect appears to be deflecting by not answering the cop's closedended question with a simple yes or no when she was asked if she seen the female victim with a gun or not. And the female suspect must not be aware that her husband has already admitted to witnessing his wife, the female suspect, pulling out her firearm. The female suspect claims that the female victim only knew that the female suspect had a firearm because of a verbal discussion full of threats. But the female suspect's statements are being refuted by her very own husband who claims to be a great dad and a man of God. Look at God. >> Okay. All right. But she was like basically like holding him cuz he couldn't get out. It's a two-door car. This is why police separate witnesses at crime scenes to ensure independent candid testimony and prevent the creation of a colluded or combined story. Now, according to the victim's sister's statements, the female suspect pulled her gun prior to the male suspect allegedly grabbing the victim by the neck. If those allegations are true, then the female suspect doesn't have any legal justification to introduce a firearm in the situation and discharge it, even if there was a verbal threat. Because in the state of Florida, a person cannot legally shoot someone based only on a verbal threat. For the use of unaliving force to be legally justified, the person must reasonably believe that such force is necessary to prevent imminent unaliving or great bodily harm. However, there is a slight difference between the victims and the victim's sister statements. The victim's sister claims that the female suspect pulled a gun and shot the gun prior to the victim allegedly being strangled. And the victim claims that the female suspect pulled a gun and shot the gun prior to the victim allegedly being strangled. And the victim claims that the female suspect pulled the gun and shot after the alleged strangulation. So, there is a difference in the sisters timelines. So, me being the father that I am, I didn't step in right away because I wanted to see how my wife was going to handle it cuz that's her stepchild. So, I sat back and I let it go. He totally disrespected her. Didn't even hear it. And my son has a hearing aid problem. But that's the thing. He likes to play as if he's deaf. So, I said, "Okay." I sat there. I took the video game from him. Today, mind you, this happened four days ago. Today, my son took it upon himself. Get on my cell phone, go outside, and as soon as I stepped outside, I could hear her on the phone yelling. So, I stepped in because I thought she was yelling at him. So, I said, "What's Hey, hey, this is this is this Bobby. What's going on?" "Oh, he said that your wife put put his hands on her hands on him." I said, "That that would never happen." First of all, because I don't give her permission to put her hands on him. If he needs to be disciplined in any type of form or fashion, that is my job. He came out of my sack. That is my child. So, if I need to discipline him, I know how to discipline him. I have four children. I got three daughters and a son. So, boom. It went from there to, "Okay, well, just bring him my son." I said, "Okay, cool. Meet me at my mom's house. I will bring him there to you right now if if it's that serious." >> There's there's bruises and stuff on your son. How did he sustain them bruises? >> How did How did he sustain those bruises? >> What kind of bruises are on him? He has all kinds of bruises like fresh marks as if someone just beat him and and that's not punishment. Whatever whoever did it was is not it's not punishment. That wasn't a regular beating. He has welps. He has all kind from his arms, his thighs. >> Ask you a question. I'm taking you to your mom." >> And what did this occur at? >> This occurred at my house. So yes, I did spank my son >> because you're not going to you're not going to disrespect any adult. My son has that problem with other adults as well. Even in school, he disrespects teachers. At some point in time, every child needs discipline. >> I don't believe in spankings. But soon, so we got here. >> All I did was get out the car. Mind you, it's a two-y old car. He was sitting behind my wife. That's where it escalated because she walked over the mom down in the car, >> rushed over to the door, the passenger door side where my wife was sitting and she ran up in her face. They was doing all this arguing d I'm like, "Yo, let him out. Just let him out. Let him if he wants to go home, let him go." They start arguing. >> I stepped in between it. When I stepped in between it, the situation escalated from the car to over here by the sidewalk. >> What happened over here by the sidewalk? >> This is when I stepped in by the sidewalk. when they were face to face and I felt like they was going to throw blows, I stepped in between both of them. Me trying to be the the mediator, the peacemaker, I get hit by diamond. So I I I could I could be honest and say, so all I did was put my hands around the nut and I pushed her off me. If I squeeze it too hard, okay, I understand that. I'm sorry. Did I put my hands on it? Yeah, I did because she struck the first blow and it was self-defense. So when I broke it up, as I was walking back to the car, >> Diamond rushed over to Anastasia again. Anastasia pulled out her gun in self-defense. >> And then what happened when she pulled out the gun? >> Diamond ran to her car in her trunk to receive her weapon. I don't know if she had it in there or not. That's all she kept saying, "Oh, oh, you only one. You're not the only one with a gun." So, she ran to the trunk of her car >> and was searching for something. >> Did at any point of time was a round fired? >> Did a round get fired from a weapon? >> Yeah. >> Yes, it did. >> All right. Who fired the round? >> And >> all right. Did she fire in How did she fire in the air? >> In the air. And when she fired it in the air, Diamond was at least 3 ft away from routine. It was about the incident that occurred today. >> Mhm. >> All right. So, what happened? >> Well, we was home, left church, got home. Um, Bentley mom, which is my husband's baby mom, called to say she need to speak with Bentley. She talked to Bentley. I don't know what the conversation was really about. I just know that she wanted her son back. and she was basically saying if she don't get her son back then she's going to call the police. At first I was telling my husband no let's not go because I don't want to get into nothing with her and end up in jail like we are now. We got there, her, her sister and other teacher got out of the car on us and then we just like give me my son. I let him know like listen, let's just talk about this, see what's going on first before we do all that. She didn't want to talk. Okay, we went we got an argument. They started jumping on my husband and I end up they started jumping on my husband, threatening us, saying that they was going to us or whatever the case may be. And I for that. >> So at no point in time in possession of firearm. >> Say it again. >> At no point in time there's a case where possession of fire. >> I had my firearm. >> You had your firearm? >> Mhm. >> At any point in time did you discharge your firearm? >> No. >> So you didn't discharge your firearm? >> No. >> Are you sure? >> No. >> So did you or did you know? >> I didn't. >> You didn't discharge the firearm? No. >> All right. What kind of fire were you in possession of? >> I wasn't I was It was I had it on. >> What kind of fire were you in possession of? Meaning, what kind of firearm you have? You know, the firearm. Do you know what kind of rounds the firearm takes? You know, color fire. >> You don't remember the color? So the firearm that when I first saw you that you were reaching into the bag was this firearm that you referred to. >> Mhm. >> All right. Did you ever point firearm at anybody? >> You ever witness anybody else with firearm? >> Yes. Yes. >> Okay. >> I can't say as to who. I just know they was at the trunk of their car and they pulled out something out of the trunk of their car and when y'all pulled up >> so from your distance he wasn't sure if it wasn't fire but you did observe somebody run to the back of your car >> insight. >> All right. And so you were in possession of the fire when you exit the car. Was the fire on you? >> No. >> Fire was there on you? >> No. >> It was where was the fire when you exited the cars when you >> my purse? >> What? Concealed. concealed in your pursuit. All right. Um, did anybody walk to your vehicle? Did you then draw a firearm? So, at no point in time was this firearm draw. >> Somebody walked up on me to my car and then I did. >> Yes. >> So, you drew So, then you drew it from >> to protect myself. >> To protect yourself. So, that's you drew it for I put it up after that cuz I'm just like, you know what? Let me put it up. So, I put it up and that was just that. and baby mama just kept running up on me and I'm just like, you know, let's go. Let's just go. >> You said you didn't say anybody else. >> No, I didn't. >> All right. And uh who's Mr. >> Yeah. At no point in time. >> No, I didn't. Is that clear? >> The couple was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and child neglect while the female suspect was additionally charged with firing a weapon in public. In the state of Florida, if a spanking leaves significant bruises or welts, it can cross the legal line from reasonable discipline into child blank. While Florida law allows moderate corporal punishment, the presence of marks often triggers investigation by law enforcement or the Department of Children and Families. And it's not legal or a bright idea to discharge a firearm in public with the intent to warn or scare someone because if the person you are trying to scare has a firearm also, they may be able to legally blank someone in self-defense in Florida. If that person fires a warning shot, provided the shooter reasonably believes they are facing an imminent threat of unaliving or great bodily harm.
