This is my daughter. She's a real addict. She tore up the house. I just went over to the courthouse this morning to file a warrant. >> Mhm. >> A restraining order to have her removed from my house. >> Okay. >> She was in there tearing my [ __ ] Then she put her hands on me, hit me with a chair. All this [ __ ] She got She has to leave my house today. >> Stay Stay back behind me. Stay behind me. Hello, Sheriff's Office. Any weapons in the house? >> Um there's a small dog in here, but not no people. This is the >> Any weapons in the house? >> Yeah, she has a >> Sheriff's Office. >> Right here. You can come in. >> Where's your hands? Let me see your hands. Any weapons in your hands? >> I don't have no weapon in my hand. I do have a gun in my hand, though. >> Put your shirt on, please. >> I can't. She threw I'm cooking my daughter noodles. SHE SNATCHED THE PIPE, THREW HOT RUNNING WATER ON ME. WHILE MY 3-YEAR-OLD is standing here right here. >> Step back, baby. Step back, [clears throat] baby girl. >> This lady is crazy. I'm telling you. >> All right. Step outside. Step outside the house. Ma'am. Put some distance between you two. Step outside the house. Let me get a better look at this. >> And I want to press charges. >> I want to press charges, too. You put your hands on me. And hit me with a chair. And tore up my house. And my dad is downstairs. You can ask him who hit who first. I was on the phone with the police. AND MY BEST FRIEND HEARD EVERYTHING. He was on the phone, too. She snatched the pot off the stove. >> YEAH, WHEN YOU HIT ME? >> I HIT YOU AFTER YOU THREW HOT WATER ON ME, LADY. THEN HIT ME WITH THE [ __ ] CHAIR. >> YOU'RE CRAZY, OLD LADY. You're crazy. >> All right. All right. Is there anybody else in the house? I'll keep your daughter. All right. I don't I need you to keep the baby girl, so just until I get this situation I'll have a seat right here for me. Have a seat. Would you like me to go ahead and call the EMS to get you checked out? 391 Augusta County 319 How old are you, ma'am? Can I get EMS en route for a 5-year-old female with looks like second-degree burns? Hey, shut up, puppy. >> So, what's going on today? >> Okay. >> All right. >> Me and her been going back and forth for a few for the last couple weeks. >> Okay. >> I told her I want her out. I can't live like this. I have medical issues. I'm just tired of it. >> Right. >> I keep I kept asking her She had my phone cut off. Service is not working. She says, "Oh, she's going to do this. She's going to do that." She carries a gun. She drinks every day. She's on I don't know if she's on drugs. She leaves for days at a time. Leaves the kids here. Does what she wants. Well, today I told her I want her out. >> Okay. >> I need I want her out of my house, point-blank period. >> Right. >> I'm not going to [ __ ] where it starts tearing up my kitchen. So, I'm sitting on the couch. >> Mhm. >> So, that's when I called y'all. I go in the kitchen. She hits me with the [ __ ] chair. So, I grabbed the pot off the stove and hit her with the pot. >> Got you. >> And it just went from there. >> In order for the mom to use throwing boiling water on her daughter as a self-defense claim, the alleged chair attack must create a reasonable fear of unaliving or great bodily injury. Because boiling water can cause permanent disfigurement or unaliving, it is often classified as a unaliving force. In Georgia, you can only use unaliving force if you reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent unaliving, great bodily injury, or a forcible felony. If the mom is considered the primary aggressor or provoked the use of force against her, she cannot claim self-defense. >> She hit me with the [ __ ] chair, so I grabbed the pot off the stove and hit her with the pot. >> Got you. >> And it just went from there. And then she had I guess she called y'all I called y'all. But I need her out my house. I went over to the courthouse this morning to file a restraining order. >> Yes, ma'am. >> And um they gave me the task force thing to call. I I just want her out of my house. >> Okay. >> As of today, she cannot come back in my house. >> So, what agreement did you guys make with your daughter? >> They going through that so scary. Shut up, hello. >> When did all this start over? >> We just been This been going on >> Me and my Me and my husband moved in here in December. >> Mhm. >> So, the last 2 months me and my husband been going through it. So, I don't know. She just flipped the script. She got her own his life, so we ain't really been speaking. None of that. I stay away. I go to work. I come here. >> She leaves her kids here for days at a time >> to her alone first. Let me talk to her alone first. I got two ears, all right? >> So, just to diffuse the situation, I do leave my leave my kids cuz they're safe here. She's here. Their dad is here. My dad is here. So, it wouldn't wouldn't make no sense to house hop with two kids when my little girl goes to school from here. So, to diffuse the situation, I don't come home. I leave them here. When I do come home, it's this kind of chaos. You want to see all the messages she was texting me last night? >> I got the messages you were sending me. >> Hang on. Hang on. Come on, ladies. One at a time. If I'm not explaining >> her out my house. That's all. >> I'm working on that. But at the same time, I need to find out what's going on. Okay? >> Yeah. >> So, this is This 30 yesterday. I wasn't here all day yesterday or the day before. >> Mhm. >> She's texting me. She's calling children and youth. I said, "I got a place. We move out May 1st. I'm not giving you till May 1st. Come get your [ __ ] kids. Get the [ __ ] out today. WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE THEM." >> ALL RIGHT, but here's the thing. Have you been contributing to this house since December? >> HUSBAND WE PAID THREE >> NOTHING IN THE MONTH APRIL. SHE'S A [ __ ] liar. >> In the month of April she didn't >> We going to do this? We going to do this? We going to do this cuz I'm going to walk right up. >> Close the door, step in the yard, and wait for me to come talk to you, please. I got another deputy on the way. When he gets here, you can give him your side of the story cuz I'm not doing the back and forth. >> All right, I'm staying here. I ain't going to say nothing. >> So, the month of April no, I did not pay rent. But, between me and my husband we give her $600 a month. >> In Georgia, as in many states in America, when an adult child pays rent to live in their parents' home, they are legally considered a tenant. Even an adult child living long-term in a parent's home is generally considered a tenant at will if they pay rent, contribute regularly to household bills, or have established residency. Because they have legal tenancy, you cannot legally put their [music] things outside or change the locks. You must follow the same formal dispossessory process used for any other tenant. >> So, the month of April no, I did not pay rent. But, between me and my husband we give her $600 a month. >> What the >> And we've been doing so since we moved in in December. >> What the what I'm saying >> When all this drama started, I started looking for a place. So, no, I did not pay my 300 April, but my husband paid his 300 in April. >> She was supposed to come here with her department and it was infested in >> Okay. >> It was not good for the kids. So, it was supposed to be a couple months. Her husband was supposed to find them a place. >> How much was she to pay you? >> They was paying 600 a month. >> Okay. >> She she didn't pay this month. >> Okay. >> I was out of town the beginning of the month. She's been doing what she wants. She invites people over. >> has she been over here? >> Since December. >> Okay. Well, you know, in order in order for us we can't kick her out today cuz she pays rent. You got to get her evicted, okay? >> She got to leave. This ain't going to work. >> She >> She got a gun. This ain't going to work. >> Well, we can't kick her out. Yeah, she you got to get her evicted as well. So, if you need to >> change the locks. >> You can't do that either. If she wants to come back in the house, she can come back in the house. >> coming back in this house, officer. I'm sorry. It's not going to work. I don't I don't like to do this in front of these kids. You see what I'm saying? These are little kids. Every time we get into a argument in front of these kids, these kids are sad for days. You know, my granddaughter's going to school, her grades are dropping. Like, this is It's not the right This is not right for these kids. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Where's your other child? >> Just got on the bus to go to school. >> Okay. >> Well, she I don't I don't even know if she's going to be in school after today cuz she went to the school district and told them my baby no longer lives here. So, she's probably kicked out out of school after today. I don't know. >> She won't You won't You'll get a notification. Then they're just going to turn her away from the front door of the school. So, that's yeah. She's safe for today. Where's your husband right now? >> Probably at probably at work. I haven't been speaking to him, either. They been Him and her been on some I don't know what to I They might be sleeping with each other. I don't know what's going on. But, they both been on some weird stuff. So, I just I've been not coming here. So, it it just defuses this. >> Mhm. All right. So, tell me what happened. You came in this morning. You came here at >> I came Okay. I came here like maybe like 5:30 this morning. >> Mhm. >> Lay down, got my daughter up at 7:30. Took her to the other She just got on the bus at 8:30. So, she wasn't here when I got up. Her and my husband. So, I'm like, cool. It's going to be peaceful. I'm in there. I start making noodles. She comes in the door. Oh, I just left the courthouse getting a restraining order on me. You getting the [ __ ] out my house today. She goes upstairs. My baby's still asleep. Snatches her out the bed. Get up. You're going with your mom. Y'all getting the [ __ ] out my house today. Comes in the kitchen. I'm like, YO, STOP TALKING TO ME. LIKE, just leave me alone. She comes in the kitchen. She snatches the pot off the stove. She was like, [ __ ] I WILL BURN your ass. I said, if you throw that water on me, I'm going to hit you, MOM OR NO MOM. SHE SWUNG her arm and threw THE WATER DOWN MY BACK. SO, YES, I hit her. YOU JUST BURNT MY BACK AND MY 3-YEAR-OLD IS STANDING right here. I can't but we don't have nowhere to go. See, I got us a place. We don't get the KINGDOM AT FIRST. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? >> I got you. >> Like, IT'S OUT OF CONTROL. YOU'RE DOING ALL THIS [ __ ] IN FRONT OF MY KID. >> [laughter] >> That water could have missed me. Hit her. Like, you're doing too much. She's not right for these kids and I try not to do this around these kids. You know what I mean? Like, I even the nitpicking I even try to ignore it and just stay in my room to avoid this around these kids. >> Right. >> But, today it just This just went too far. >> Right. >> And then you're tearing up my house and [ __ ] You didn't buy nothing in here. >> Right. >> You're not about to tear up my [ __ ] that I worked so hard for. >> I definitely understand that. What I would definitely recommend you doing is going back down to the courthouse and getting an eviction notice. That way you can get the eviction notice in. Um typically it's if she gets served, once she gets served, if you decide to do the eviction notice, she gets served, it's 30 days from the time she gets served, okay? If she has 14 days to uh say she wants to go to court about it and say, you know, no, I I don't need to move out. What happens is that you guys they set up a court date for you guys. You go to court. She states her case in front of the judge. You state your case in front of the judge. If the judge agrees with her and says okay, well you can't kick her out or if the judge agrees with you, hey, she needs to go out today, tomorrow, she's got 30 more days, she's got 60 more days, she's got 90 more days. If she doesn't do any of that, then she's got 30 days from the time she gets served to get out of the house, okay? If at the end of that 30 days she's not out, then we can actually come out and criminal trespass from the property and make sure she didn't come back. Okay? >> So she hit you and she picked up a chair and hit her with a >> No, she Well, she hit me with the water, she slipped on the water, >> Mhm. >> fell on the ground. I got on top of her. When I went to stand up off of her, she kicked ME, SO I KNOCKED THE CHAIR over on her. I didn't like pick it up and slam it down. She's still my mom. >> Yeah. >> I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm just trying TO GET YOU OFF OF ME. >> I got you. >> So I don't know how you can get a restraining order and I live here and I pay rent here and all our [ __ ] is here. We got rooms here and like this is crazy. >> Either way, I don't think this is where you need to be after today. >> And I don't even have a Where am I SUPPOSED TO TAKE KIDS? >> [laughter] >> AGAIN, breathe for me and breathe. One Let's tackle one issue at a time. Let's tackle one issue at a time. All right. This is her house. Unless y'all got a you know, you've been You said you've been paying $600 a month since So she's got to evict you. All right. She's got to go file an eviction. That has to be. She can't just kick you out with the kid cuz you guys been contributing to the household. It is what it is. However, you said you'd be out by May 1st, so that's what, 17 days? But clearly y'all can't coexist under here. Your husband You've got to find Get y'all an extended stay Get some Get >> So tell my husband because he's not the issue. I'm just issue for some apparent reason. I don't know what kind of kahoots she's in. >> Well, if if it's where you could stay away until May 1st and then make sure he take care of the kids. >> Okay. >> That's fine. >> Okay. I can try to do that. >> Yeah, you For your safety and hers, I would I would. >> Yeah, cuz this is going to go bad. >> This Yeah, don't put that on yet. I got I got medical coming to check y'all, make sure y'all all right. >> And it's on fire. >> I know. That's why don't don't touch it with no cotton. They're going to come they're going to get it, you know. >> So, we'll put as of like I said as of >> I want to press charges, she is. >> Well, that uh we'll get we'll get the call here. See what the deputy call has got going on. >> I'm going to have to get you to write a statement for me, all right? >> You go downstairs and pop up for a minute. >> Please. Mommy's okay. Mommy's okay. >> else to eat in a minute. >> Mommy's okay. She's got to talk to me for a second, all right? That's all it is. All right, give me your first, last, and date of birth. Mhm. >> I do want to press charges if I can. >> Good boy. >> I would have rather you just have swung on me and hit me. >> Yeah. What is your good phone number for you? All right. >> That's [snorts] why I had called y'all. I called y'all before any of this went down. Like, please send the cops cuz I see where this is going and I was trying to diffuse the situation before it even escalated, but she just kept walking back and forth, so I knew it was about to take off. >> Yeah. I got you. Hang on a second. Come on outside, puppy. Okay, so because they've been paying $600 a month between them, you have to do an eviction. >> You can't just get her out of the house. >> You can. She's also She's also pressing charges against you. She hit her with uh scalding hot water. She's got That's why I called EMS. So, turn around, put your hands behind your back for me. >> Why? >> Yeah, you can't burn people with scalding hot water. That's a crime. >> No, she I was trying to catch her sleeping. >> I'm going to say one more time then you're going to be on the ground. >> Hold on. After you like the video, hype the video, tap the video's description, tap the hype points button, and thanks to you, this video is now hyped. >> Yeah, you can't burn people with scalding hot water. >> No, she I was trying to catch her sleeping. >> behind your back. I'm going to say one more time then you're going to be on the ground. At this time, you're under arrest for battery, cruelty to children in the third degree. >> So, if you want to go ahead and take her, I'll go ahead and stand by for EMS. >> Yeah, just got to get >> Let her uh double lock >> Let me double lock it so it don't squeeze up on me. This one? >> Yeah. >> Hang on. >> Can you do them in the front? >> No, I can't do that, ma'am. Ow. There you go. I can get a finger in there. All right, go to my car video. Now, I did tell her she got to get out today just to keep distance between you two and not come back. >> Oh god. >> Is there anything in your pocket? You got your phone, your wallet? Just the phone? >> Yep. >> We'll get it out when you get there. 911 10-95 one time. >> This is what happened. She came in the house, daughter came in the house this morning 5:30. She and her husband been both been staying here, but been catching between here and the mom's so she's been out. Husband been here with the kids. She said then two of them against her for some reason or the other. She comes in the house at 5:30 this morning start making breakfast for the baby girl to ramen noodle soup everything's on the floor in the pot. Mom comes in start making a scene she picks up the pot [ __ ] [ __ ] I don't know I got to get to the courthouse today and then you getting out. She like ma'am that's what she called us before it got physical. It's like get out of my face. I ain't got nowhere to go we get the keys on the first. I just need to live first. She throws a pot at her scuffle out starts from there. I'm not charging her with anything because at this point it's defense. She's got skin ripped off down her shoulder. So I mean you throw about a hot of boiling water I mean I'm She said during the scuffle the chair she got up off the mom. Mom kicked her then she just pushed the chair down on her. I'm not charging her for that. She can take a warrant out. She can >> She escalated it pretty hard so if you want to go ahead and take her in I'll stay with her to get EMS to check her out and all that. You you have pictures? >> No I'm about to go do that now. >> Okay so if you want to I'll take pictures it's up to you. >> I'm taking the photos so that I can just email them to myself. I also wanted a statement from her. >> Okay we'll get a statement I'll get all that. >> Appreciated. To the Douglas County Jail and then you can bond out from there. Deputy Kiger's going to remain here until the ambulance arrives to check out Ninnie. You need one of those? allergic? Get up. HELLO. BE QUIET. GO. GO UPSTAIRS. GO. NOW. GO, BELLA. GO. SO, another light switch in here. >> Alexa, turn living room light on. >> I've shut down the What do you want to come in here? >> Yeah. >> Don't Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. >> I'm going to say it. Turn the stove off. Morning, sir. I'm doing all right. >> [snorts] >> Let me get that information afterwards. Yeah, just hold on. Yeah. How you doing? >> We got to go over the circumstances. >> Hey, darling. What's going on? >> She got hit with scalding [clears throat] hot water. >> Hear me? >> She got sick. >> Where are you at? I saw your back. Is that it? >> No, right now that's all that's burning. >> Where did the hot splash up on you? >> Yeah. Um well, when she went to talk to me, I kind of like smacked her hand so I had went over my shoulder kind of thing. >> Okay. Look at that arm a little bit. Look at her arm. >> Yeah, and then her arm here as well. >> Pick Pick this arm up. Can you lift this arm up for me? >> Come on. Yeah. >> Okay. >> It's pretty a little bit done. >> What's up, baby? So, how are you doing? >> She She had boiling on her She's got some secondary on her shoulder and up underneath her arms. >> All right, let me see your face. Try not to get All right, just one hand at a time. >> You said hand? >> Yeah, like this. It's how we check for defensive wounds. Take your time, next one. I'm going to get out of here and let them take care of you, all right? All right. Just fill this out when you're ready to give it to Deputy Keiker. He's outside. Excuse me. I'm going to go down this way. How you doing, sir? May I Is it okay if I come out and talk to you for a second? Mommy's okay, baby girl. Mommy just got to get checked out, okay? She got burned pretty badly. How you doing? Good morning. Okay, how you doing? Doing all right? Can you tell me what you saw or heard? >> They woke me up. >> I believe it would be more appropriate to be thankful that you woke [music] up so you could have the opportunity to de-escalate the situation. Your daughter allegedly has second-degree burns, and your granddaughter was in the exact proximity of danger and could have also sustained injuries. Not only would it have been a great idea to wake up, but it also would have been a great idea to put forth the necessary effort to create distance between the two, which might have prevented this traumatic experience for your granddaughter. >> Can you tell me what you saw or heard? >> They woke me up. They woke me up. I opened the door up and seen dishes down come down the steps, and I walked there, picked the dishes up, set them in the kitchen on the wish bone, and told them to chill this and came back in here and sit down. That's when they called y'all. >> Mommy's going to be okay, but she got a little burn. They got to put a little band-aid on it, okay? She's going to be okay. >> I mean no damn nonsense. >> You're doing it all. What's your first and last name, darling? Thank you. She have a date of birth? And baby girl? Regular spelling? Last name? >> I don't know. She's married. We just changed her name. What's your last name? What's your mommy's last name? What's your last name? >> I'm going to ask [clears throat] mommy. >> I I don't know. She got married recently and she changed I don't know if she changed her name from to uh >> [clears throat] >> Okay. That's fine. That's fine. You know her date of birth? >> [clears throat] >> I'll get it from her. >> [laughter] >> It's fine. We'll sit tight for you, okay, baby girl? You've been really brave. Thank you for that. >> Let me let me lie. When's your birthday? >> I'll give you easier one. What's What's your wife's information? She don't have her wallet or she didn't have a wallet or ID on her, just her phone. >> Miss? Oh, I don't know. She's upset. Um she's not my wife. She's my baby mama. >> Oh. >> You have to you can get all that from her. >> Okay. Get it for me in a second. I appreciate you. >> Uh-huh. >> What's your daughter's last name and date of >> My daughter? >> Yeah. I saw your dad couldn't remember anything. Cute. Appreciate you. Thank you. All right. Got everything but hers. I'm going to get hers. That's her That's her dad. >> Her dad? >> Yeah, it's that one's Well, they said they're not married. They just Her husband apparently went to work or whatever. >> Did he say anything? >> No. He said um They woke him up with the the arguing. He opened the door, saw dishes down the stairs, came upstairs, told them to chill the hell out, and then went back inside. >> All right. When was your birthday? [snorts] >> This morning. I appreciate you. We'll take >> [clears throat] >> Huh? Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. That's act battery. That's second degree. >> Second degree burns, right? Is what you're >> Yes. >> And is it something you And I'm assuming you're saying that she probably would she go see a case if she got it >> Yes. >> She's going to need to get that skin built up. Oh, yeah, that's that's act battery. That is act battery all day. Cuz that's definitely going to leave a scar. >> Yep. >> Or some type of deformity. Would we assume that it's definitely going to leave a scar or something? >> Oh, absolutely. It'll get the uh like that Yeah. >> Yeah, that's that's act battery. >> [clears throat] >> Cuz I I like, "It looks like a second degree." Boiling hot water. >> When you put your bra back Don't wear a bra out there. >> Yeah, I was about to say >> Well, it probably wouldn't hurt to put it back on. >> Yeah. >> I don't know where it's at, but I bet you it's going to hurt when it comes back out. >> It's up here, right where it's got to go. It's going to >> All right. Hey guys, I appreciate you. You guys have a good >> Appreciate you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All right, I'm out of here. [ __ ] All I need is her information. Should I get one when we get there? >> Do you Is she going to write a statement? >> Who, she? Her Yeah, I gave her the sheet. She'll write it and give it to you. >> Okay. >> Appreciate you. >> If you want to get a perfectly change this fine I what I'll do Get Get You're done whatever you need to do. I'll be back in I'll give you an hour to get it done. I'll come back swing back by and get it, okay? >> And just write what happened on it? Is that it? >> Yeah, literally start from what started everything down to what happened till the time you called 911 or Well, I think when you called 911 it hadn't happened yet. >> Yeah, I had >> Till the time that we actually arrived on or until we arrived on scene. >> Okay. >> Okay. Yeah, just get I'll give you about an hour to get it done. That way you can get dressed up and all. Okay? Hey, I'm going to give her I'm going to give her like an She's got to get dressed and all. Give her an hour and then I'm going to come back and get it. >> Yeah. >> That way cuz she's holding everything up. I just want >> Yeah, just Mhm. >> Yeah, I just saw the top of it. I was like, >> Oh, yeah, the skin's gone. >> All right. >> Appreciate you. >> No, thank you. >> I do not have any information regarding the final charges against the suspect. Now, situations like this are typically the result of an underlying cause. This situation is more traumatic than most can perceive. The consequence of their actions can have a residual negative impact on two generations. Being disfigured by your mom is a major adversity. A young child witnessing the violence towards the mom is ultimate despair, harmful, painful, and damaging. If the dad in the basement isn't disabled, then there is no excuse as to why he couldn't have prevented this from occurring, especially after allegedly knowing the potential for a physical altercation brewing. I am the prime [music] analyzer, and I know that you enjoy this channel. So, I decided to link a clickable previous video to get you caught up. I also created a playlist, so you can sit back and watch all of my previous analyses in a [music] continuous, non-stop fashion. Enjoy.
