Because even though police can get the name and address of the registered owner from the license plates, that doesn't guarantee that the driver is the registered owner. Put it in your pocket. >> So, before the police stopped the driver, the driver was accused of stealing $2,500 out of the pocket of a male at the casino. And a witness at the casino confirmed seeing the driver steal the money as well. The driver was arrested and taken to the police station where a further search was conducted and the police located $3,300 in her pants. The driver was then charged with theft over $500 DUI, speeding, improper lane usage, and get this, the driver had an outstanding warrant out of Florida related to theft. She was accused of stealing a $9,000 watch from a male that she met at another casino. For the viewers who like to go to casinos, just remember that there are professional thieves that are calculated and sometimes organized. In casinos, female thieves target males, often using distraction, physical contact, and sometimes more elaborate schemes like drugging or romance scams. Female individuals may also use distraction and social engineering, sometimes leveraging their appearance to facilitate theft, pickpocketing or trick roll and or scenarios involving drugging and robbery.
