What's your name? Am I under arrest? Can I call my attorney? >> Do you have the right to remain Put your hands behind your back. >> I didn't resist. Get your hands OFF ME. WHY IS HE ATTACKING ME? POLICE BRUTALITY. >> Get out of here. You go now or you're going to go to jail. >> I'm not scared to go to jail. >> All right, take me to jail. >> Let's go. >> Hook him up. >> Turn around, put your hands behind your back. >> For what? >> Squatters can be a huge problem, especially the kind who trash places, refuse to leave, and act like they own everything. They push their luck, ignore the rules, and think no [music] one can stop them. But that confidence disappears fast when the cops finally show up and serial squatters from hell get arrested. >> After police, if you're up there, come down with your hands up. Come down now. House is surrounded, come down. >> On February 10th, 2025, [music] in Akron, Ohio, police officers were dispatched to a residence after a property manager reported that a group of people was living there without permission. >> So, what's going on with the house? >> I just represent the property manager. The property is in foreclosure. >> Okay. >> So, I just came out to check on it. I was here last week and nobody was here. >> Okay. >> So, I don't I don't know when they decided to move themselves in between last week, Monday, I think it was around Monday or Tuesday, and now. Uh so, the four of them scattered that way through that back alley. There's There's a couple of them living in the garage, but there's still somebody in the house cuz when I yelled in the house, somebody answered, so I just didn't go in beyond that. >> Okay. Yeah, no, you're fine. Which door was open? Okay. >> The officer radioed for backup. After a short wait, another unit arrived on the scene and the officers began their search. The home seemed quiet at first, but after they drew their service weapons and announced their presence, the atmosphere changed. >> Metro police, if you're up there, come down with your hands up. Come down now. House is surrounded, come down. There's nowhere to hide. I already heard you up there. Come down now. Hands up. Come down. Who else is up there with you? Come down. Come down now. Hands up before you get in more trouble. Hands up. On top of your head, come down here. >> [music] >> Come down now. >> They thought they didn't have to pay rent like most people, but they quickly found out that wasn't the case. The officers secured the two female squatters in cuffs, [music] but they weren't done yet. There were still more people hiding upstairs who needed to be dealt with. >> Hands up. Stop right there. What are you doing here? Do Do a lease? >> No, I'm on the a >> So, how do you live here if you don't have a lease? >> Well, >> been renting upstairs for a year. >> Why is the door kicked in? >> Get out. >> Put them together like a friend. >> There's no one supposed to be here. >> It doesn't matter. I have the landlord outside. Move past that. How long have you guys been staying here? >> The officers escorted the male suspect [music] into a police cruiser while they continued questioning his female accomplices inside. Although they claimed no one else was in the home, >> [music] >> the officers needed to be certain, so they made their way upstairs to continue their search. >> I can police anyone else out here, come out now. You want all the hallway I'll check this bathroom first. Clear. Okay. Open attic. Look at this room. >> I can police if anybody's in here make yourself known. >> [clears throat] >> Check the attic. >> All right, I'll go right if you want to. >> Everything with [music] this closed door you have? >> I got one coming out here. >> All right. >> How you doing? >> Good. Can you step out of the house? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Come out. >> What's going on? >> What? What the >> Put your hands on top of your head. >> Why didn't you answer when we were calling? >> I just woke up. >> Clearly you could hear me shouting. >> a 13? >> Everyone's a 13 in this house. >> What are you doing out there? >> What's going on? >> You don't live here. >> Yes, I do. >> This house is vacant. >> I've lived here since June. >> No one's supposed to be here. >> Why am I being arrested? Am I >> No one's supposed to Clearly, yes. >> Okay. Well, I I don't understand why. >> Who'd you pay rent to? Who'd you have a lease with this this >> A friend of mine, Sarah. >> Yeah, Sarah doesn't own the house. >> Uh-uh. >> She doesn't own the house. >> I'm going to take him. >> Hi. Come on out. >> [music] >> Yeah, in a second. Thank you. >> Yeah, but you need to go in there in case there's another person in there. >> There is. All right. Go ahead and put your hands behind your back for me. So, we got a light or a 13. >> Which shoes do you Which shoes do you want? >> Sir. >> The officers weren't done with their search yet. They made their way up to the attic, but surprisingly, they didn't find anyone hiding up there. Next, they ID'd their suspects and placed them in the back of police cruisers. >> We do have warrants. Be aware of that. >> No. No. I have court on the 18th. Oh, please. Please call them and see if they want me, please, because I I just It's because of the non-reporting and I don't live out here anymore. I just got out of here today. Oh my goodness. Please. Dude, I I still have 10 days before court. >> [laughter] >> I can't go to jail again. I literally I just found out I I pregnant and I still have syphilis. I can't go to jail, I'll miss my treatment. >> [laughter] >> Oh my god. Jesus Christ, how many cars have just showed up here? >> Who in the hell is that? >> I'd really like to be able to like talk to them. Like I thought that I I've been paying rent since June. >> Essentially, the man claimed he had been paying rent to a woman, Sarah, who he believed was the homeowner. But there was about a high chance that he just made up the whole story. >> So, you pay rent here? >> Yeah. >> When's the last time you paid rent? >> Uh just la- uh kind of months, but yeah, last month. >> Last month, so today's February, so you're talking January? >> Yeah, I was I was paid about >> Do you have any way to prove that? >> No. No. No. No. >> Why? >> Because I pay [music] cash. >> Who'd you pay it to? >> To Sarah. Sarah Black. >> Sarah Black. Do you have Sarah's phone [music] number? >> Uh see, I uh yeah, it's in my phone. >> Okay, your phone's upstairs in your room? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You lived there ever since then? >> Yeah. >> Who pays the utilities? >> I thought she [music] was. >> How much do you pay a month? >> I pay $300 a month. >> $300? You rent just that room? >> I rent just one room. >> All suspects gave [music] the same account, claiming that they had been paying rent to Sarah. Regardless, as a tenant, it was up to them to complete [music] the necessary paperwork, so they were liable either way. >> This is the unfortunate situation about owning properties. Well, I don't own them, but >> Okay. >> the people that do own them, >> Okay. >> you know, I don't know what they're going to end up doing with this, but this house was beautiful. So was it They the same guy that's foreclosing on the owner, that's losing these houses through bankruptcy, owns like three houses in a row over on Moon, like 654, 58, [music] and 70, or something. I I just over there. Somebody did the same There was nobody there. They broke in the side door. I mean, smashed all the stuff These houses were like turnkey finished ready to sell. Uh they smashed in all the door over there, stole all the appliances for whatever reason, broke all the cabinet doors off in the kitchen. Um and then stole a bunch of all the sinks and smashed all the sinks to steal the faucets. >> Wow. >> Like how [music] that faucet's worth two bucks? Three bucks. Because like a thousand bucks >> I'm going to do that to that space heater upstairs. [music] There's a cell phone right behind you, I don't know. >> All occupants were arrested and charged with criminal trespassing. >> [music] >> On March 26th, 2025 in Ohio, police officers were dispatched to a residence after a landlord reported that squatters were living inside his property without paying rent. >> This is the landlord. >> I'm just sitting here. Well, there's actually there's a people staying there. >> No, they He lives far out of town. >> It was locked. It was everything I could do to get up there before. I got my knee and my ankle swelled up. >> So, it's upstairs? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, I just seen her 5 or 6. Seriously. But there is someone supposed to be living in there? >> No. >> Okay, now I'm all right. >> No, and they they had to have broken in because the door was locked. And I went up there and like I said, it was all I could do to get up there. But I got up there and checked, the door was locked. I said, "What are you doing in here?" And I didn't have a key with me. Well, I went up there or I came in here and found them. Uh my brother had called me and >> He's my landlord. >> He's brother. >> Yeah, he Keith here had seen them. >> The landlord said that on one occasion he encountered the squatter and told her she didn't have the legal right to stay in his home. He said that the woman said she [music] would leave the property, but it seemed like that wasn't the case. >> But she tried to wish good stay and I said, "No, you got to go." >> Do you have a key with you or not? >> No, I don't. >> Are you Cuz she has the door locked. He wants to go in. >> Yes. >> All right. Hey. >> What? >> All right. All right. Police department. >> I got to leave the couch. >> He told us that you were going to show up. I'm just waiting for the light. Wait, you guys aren't supposed to be here. >> I am. >> He just left or we were just left. >> No, he's still here. >> He's still here? >> No one's supposed to be living here. No, he knows he knows that we're not we're not supposed to be here. I just talked to him now. >> Willingly? >> I just talked to him. I'm waiting on my uncle to get here to take the couch out. I just brought my stuff out on the porch. All right. Go down. >> Excuse me. >> [clears throat] >> I'm going to clear this house. >> As if illegally entering the owner's home and squatting [music] weren't enough, it looked like they had trashed the place. One thing was for certain, when the landlord discovered what they had done to his place, he wouldn't be happy. >> Stuff called that all this foil and stuff up here. >> I don't know what stuff that officer is trying to say. She's talking about renting a place. I'm here trying to rent a place, though. >> I can't do it by myself. >> Yeah, that's what I'm doing. >> What's your story? >> Uh I come here talking about wanting to rent a place. He knows the guy downstairs and they told me that they bought the place. >> So, cuz I lied. I lied to him. But they told me that I found the place. How do you open it? I I was brought here by a friend. And the girl that was staying here said that her couple that was staying up there That wasn't the question. How'd you get the door open? So how was it how'd the door get open? That was a lie. I didn't find the new way to get in. Really it was a friend that brought us in. Yeah, but how did Who opened the door? Somebody lived here. There was someone living here. And he said that we could stay here and all that. That's no lie. It really isn't a lie. But they also [clears throat] I'm not sure of his name. Well, like I said, I went and got That's why I got a check now. I thought that they was renting the place. And he told me that if we wanted to stay up there, get the rent money, we'd stay up there. So I said, "Okay." So you have rent money with you? Is that what that check is? Yes, ma'am. >> It was like he was reading out of the squatter's playbook. The story is always the same. Someone they don't know very well claimed to own the place and allowed them to rent it out for dirt cheap. Cash only, of course. >> It doesn't even belong to you. This belongs to this >> I know that. >> The Clark Art School calls and told me >> That was written to me for March's rent. >> Well, I'm holding onto that. >> That's [clears throat] fine. >> Yeah, I told you that I found the door open. >> Yeah, I bet. >> You know that I started staying here because I just lost [clears throat] my twins and I was trying to get them back. Yeah. >> [snorts] >> And then I was helping Larry down here cleaning the outside of this house, which I have, and the inside. Cuz nobody else would help me clean this house. >> And I've dealt with this is the third time I've had someone try to come in and squat. By the time I got here, they'd broken out every window. The door was [music] torn off the hinges, and they went in and they wrecked all of it. Which And in the process of that, they had destroyed the whole building. >> It was unfortunate [music] to hear the landlord had been dealing with these sorts of situations for some time. Squatting is far from a victimless crime as it often results in extensive property damage and it's almost always the landlord who has to foot the bill. >> You want to see her ID? >> Yes. >> All right. All right, you both are under arrest for burglary. >> Burglary? What? Oh, hell no. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. >> You got to listen to me. >> Whoa. >> All right. Will you come down here? >> You sir, you are making a huge mistake. My God, what the hell? >> What about the guy that let us in there? >> No, Sha- where's Cheyenne? Get Cheyenne over here. Fight them. Listen, you do not fight the police. >> I don't I don't deserve >> I don't >> Don't even move around. That's not what this is. >> That's fine. >> [snorts] >> Um >> I'm just doing it. >> Can I say something? What about the guy that let us in the apartment? >> [music] >> Yeah. >> Can you guys get him out here? Listen. This is wild right here. >> He doesn't have anything to say. >> Okay. >> Yes, ma'am, but this guy let us in there. >> That's not his apartment. >> Go and drop that, buddy. Go and drop your vape. >> not upstairs. >> Okay, what about the lady that let us in that apartment? Cheyenne is the person that was with her. Cheyenne, the red hair girl. >> Cheyenne. >> All right. They said they paid for this place. Can I get my stuff, sir? >> Yeah, I'll get it. Yeah, we got to go through it anyway. Is there anything in there? >> Wow. >> Yeah. >> I'm listening to you. They let me in there. You guys just left and they just took me in there. I don't even know them people. >> So, you don't even know the girl? >> No. >> Um who's the girl? >> Rent the place. [music] That's I know the girl, yeah, but that I'm trying to rent the place. >> Okay. You want to rent up there? >> Yeah, I'm trying to rent it. >> I know that girl. I ain't even know her. You don't want to rent that place. >> I know that. >> He did not break in. You guys don't know who that person is. >> Yeah, I do. >> You just told me you didn't know who it was. >> Oh, I know who it is. >> Well, then who is it? >> Cheyenne. >> That doesn't help me much. >> Fine. You know who Cheyenne is. I'm not >> I'm not No, I'm not doing this. >> I don't know who >> There's a thousand Cheyenne's in Chula Vista. >> With red hair? >> Maybe there's five, I don't know. What's her last name? >> Bambardian? Bambardian? >> Bambardian? >> Yeah, that's who That's That's my boyfriend. He brought me here [music] saying that she was going to let us spend the night. >> So, he knows her? >> Yeah. >> She told him How did she tell him? >> Yeah. >> How did >> How did she How did she tell him? She was just here right moments before you guys Well, he showed up. >> So, she told him in person he can go in? >> Yeah. >> Or did she text him or call him or did >> I don't know. She might have been >> This house bags continued to protest, [music] but the officers told them they would have to do so from the police station. As the officer was escorting the male suspect to his cruiser, the suspect made the most absurd claim [music] yet, claiming that it was the officers who had broken the law. >> I don't want to I don't want you to. You guys are going to get my rights coming private property. That's private property, dog. >> You are under arrest. >> You're under arrest. We have a call for this. >> I know, but you guys >> than that, we're going to stop our conversation. We can speak to a supervisor in a few minutes, okay? Just have a seat for me, okay? >> All right. Hey, can I ask you a question? Hey, how's it going? >> Listen. Listen. I'm going to get I'm going to get the supervisor. We're going to get this matter Hang on. >> What's your What's your social? >> Yeah, I got That guy just gave me 10 different socials, so >> Sean I'm done with him now. >> So, they got checks [music] from somewhere. >> They're at the class size school $1,000. You know what I'm saying? >> Call them in there. >> Knowingly remained >> didn't call us and then gave her a chance to leave. >> I'll do I'll take care of the reporting stuff. I really want them arrested, but >> I'll take him. Yeah, I'll transport him. I guarantee there's going to be fetty and dope in here. >> The couple was arrested and charged [music] with criminal trespassing. On December [music] 15th, 2024, police officers were dispatched to a business at around 3:00 a.m. following reports [music] from a store owner that a woman had been squatting in front of his business. >> Good morning. Carol. Carol. >> [snorts] >> Carol. Carol. We need you up, all right? >> What's wrong with it? >> We're getting complaints that you're sleeping here, so you got to get up, please. >> I'm [music] sleeping. >> You need any medical attention? >> No. >> All right, well, you got to get up, please, for me. We're getting complaints that you're that you're here. >> No. >> What's your last name, Carol? >> What's your last name, Carol? Huh? What's your last name? Carol, what's your last [music] name? >> No, it's not a white >> Nine. >> Come on, guys. Sweet dying in the morning. I just got here. Just got here a couple hours. Two hours. >> I'm sorry. In the same way, I'm sorry. >> You don't bother me. You don't bother me. You don't bother me today. >> It's not up to us. [music] >> What's your date of birth, Carol? >> It was a tough situation. Carol was obviously homeless and just trying to find somewhere [music] to sleep for the night, but unfortunately, the law is the law, and she couldn't sleep right in [music] front of a private business. >> Carol, you got to get up, all right? >> No, I'm not getting up. >> I'm sorry, you got to get up. Come on. >> No. >> You have to. >> [music] >> Why? >> Because you can't sleep in front of this building. >> I'm here last night. I'm here in front of here. I'm here every day. >> You want You [music] want to get taken over to the warming shelter? >> No. >> All right, well, you got to get up, all right? Trying to help you, okay? >> You're trying to make You can't bother me. >> Yeah, you can >> I'm here every night. Nobody bothers me, except you people sometimes. >> hospital? >> [snorts] >> You want to go to the hospital? >> No. >> You got to want bed there. >> No, you'll be the hospital. >> Carol. >> And if you bother me, take it I'm going to beat up. >> Come on, Carol, You got to go. >> Carol didn't want to budge, but the officers had a job to do. There were plenty of shelters around and other more suitable places for her to get some sleep. >> Carol, please. Come on. >> We're getting complaints that you're sleeping in front of the business people. It's not It's not us. We're getting complaints from the business people >> [music] >> that you know, have business here. They don't want you sleeping here, so you have to go. All right? We're asking you nicely. Do you need medical attention? You can go to the hospital or do you want to go to the warming shelter? We probably could see if we could take you to the warming shelter in Kearny. Would you like that? >> Come on, Carol. >> Listen. You can close your eyes all day. You got to go. Carol, what's your social? No? Okay. >> I'm not You're not taking that. >> All right. >> It's not illegal. She's outside. I'm not taking that. >> You can't sleep in front of a business. You're trespassing. >> I got permission to stay here. >> Carol, Carol. >> [music] >> You get a lawyer. >> You can go somewhere else, just not here, okay? >> You get a lawyer. >> Just not here. All right, Carol? >> You get a lawyer. I'm [snorts] not taking that. >> I wish I could, but >> I'm not taking that. >> You can't sleep here, okay? >> I'll rip it up. I got permission to stay here from number one. They say I asked him if I could [music] stay here. >> Carol, what's your social? >> Go to yourself. How about that one? >> All right, listen. You got two options. You provide me your social, you'll be issued for defiant trespassing, or you're going to be placed under arrest. >> The officers had now given her clear choices. Either vacate the premises [music] or be placed under arrest. And unfortunately, instead of choosing, Carol just shut down. >> Come on, Carol. >> All right. >> [music] >> You going to provide >> Touch me on the spine. >> You going to provide your information or not? Carol, all right, come I can't get arrested. >> I can't touch you. All right. Let's go. You're in your face. You're in [music] your face. >> You get a lawyer. >> All right, we're going to have a female 10-25. >> You get a lawyer. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> You get a lawyer. Stop resisting. >> Carol, stop resisting. >> Stop resisting. >> Carol, stop resisting. Carol, stop resisting. Carol, Carol, just take it easy. >> It was unfortunate that she [music] chose to do things the hard way, but she left the officers with no choice. They had repeatedly told her [music] that she was free to go find somewhere else to sleep for the night, but she insisted on staying put. >> My stuff. My stuff. >> Unlock the car. I got it. >> Ow. Ow, you're hurting me. It's not >> Unlock this car. Get in the car. >> No. Ow. You must be hurting me. My stuff, you guys. >> With Carol secured, the officers gathered and searched her belongings. Next, they helped her into her shoes before transporting her to the police station, and it seemed she was more than familiar with the place. >> What's that? You don't know where you're going. You're going the opposite way. So, stop saying you know where you're going. >> Yeah. Don't touch me. >> All right. Well, next time just listen so you don't have to be here. >> Shut up. You're nobody to me. >> You're nobody to me. >> Yeah, I'm going to I'm going to grab you again. >> Over here. Over here. >> Let's go. >> You keep touching me. I'll beat you up. >> Turn around. >> Face the wall, put your hands >> arrest you for destruction of property. >> wall and shut up. >> I'm going to tase the wall. You touched me. >> Shut up. >> Sarah, face the wall. >> All right. >> Don't touch me. >> I didn't do anything to you anyway. >> Tase my >> You idiot. >> What the >> Tase you, [ __ ] >> Yeah, you said >> I'm dressed in my own clothes. >> Just stand up. Finish it anyway. So, we just cover to the bathroom and she's done. >> The officers needed to finish patting her down, but because she was wearing multiple layers of clothing, it wasn't easy. After that, the only thing left to do was process her and put her in a holding cell for the night. >> I got my [ __ ] criminal. Yes. >> [music] >> Yes. Stupid. All right. My shoes. >> Hm? >> I need to take >> [music] >> There's a hole in it. >> My [snorts] name is Stop touching me. I don't I told you I didn't do anything to me anyway. >> Put your hand on the wall. On the wall. On the wall. >> Get your hand off me. Get your hand off me. >> hand on the wall. Just put the hand on the wall. Hand on the wall, too. That one, too. It's got to go on the wall. >> No. >> Put your hand >> wall, Carol. >> Put them on the wall. >> I'm going to give you a hard time, you know, that I don't like >> All right, well, this is going to be more charges for you. >> You're going to get it back, all >> You're going to get it back? That's the problem. >> When? >> Once you get released, I'll give it back to you. >> When? >> Today. >> Yeah, when you're released, you will give it back to you. You got to take it off. >> Carol, Carol, listen. >> I understand, but you have to take it off. >> Carol, Carol, look at this. Carol, listen. I'm going to put it right >> know it's a big day. You don't think he gave it to me? >> I know, I'm sorry. I know, I'm sorry. Listen, I'm going to put it right there so you can see it, okay? Put it right there. >> Come on. >> You have to take it off. >> I know it's a big day. He gave it to me. >> Okay, Carol, I'm sorry. But look, look, I'm going to put it right here, right here, okay? It's not going to go anywhere. >> Come on. >> All right, it's going to be right here. >> Carol was charged with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, obstructing justice, and resisting arrest. On February 5th, 2025, police officers responded to a call from a building owner reporting that a former tenant was trespassing on his property. However, the situation quickly escalated when the tenant presented his own defense. >> What's up? All [ __ ] in my building. >> We're We're trying to figure that out right now. >> What are you trying to figure out? I own the building. We said he doesn't have a lease. He's not a tenant. >> We're trying to figure that out, okay? >> Well, he's breaking it anyway, so I want to press charges. >> Okay, but we're trying to figure it out. He has paperwork for whatever. My sergeant the PD calling up Sangamon County. We're trying to figure it out. >> Well, let me call the the attorney general's office. >> Was there court in Sangamon County or anything like that on your behalf? >> I mean, we'll go over a warrant over a an OP with him. >> Was it granted? >> Was the OP granted against me? >> Yes. >> He has We both have one against each other. >> I have one against him in Logan County, and he has one against me in Sangamon County. >> This whole thing is a mess. >> But he literally just broken into my property, okay? So, there's no way of getting around that. >> The man told the officer that he owned the restaurant and that the squatter didn't have and never had a lease. He said that any paperwork the squatter would try to provide to the officer would be fake. [music] It seemed that in an attempt to prevent the owner from removing him from his restaurant, the squatter had filed a protection order against the owner. >> Can I see that OP? I thought you can verify by land. I mean we're not going to keep doing this where you guys keep >> Kevin is asking >> ft away. He's supposed to be 500. You guys have it in your system he's been served. >> We don't. >> You guys you guys played me and kicked me out like I just need the number. The number? >> Yeah, cuz that's what Kevin's asking for right now. >> But he needs to be violated cuz he came >> I will gladly take him to jail. >> Because this is ridiculous what he did to me and and you got all of it and you got now finally months later my attorney's got to figure it out and now it's all against him. >> Did you ever get any eviction for him? >> Yes. >> Where's that eviction paperwork at? >> Well, I don't know if my dad has it or not, but my attorney said the eviction's all these people. >> We're right here. This is the This is well >> He doesn't [music] own the property. He is a tenant, right? >> Landlord may terminate this lease if tenant breaches any of the agreement. >> He didn't pay me any rent so he breached the agreement which landlord may >> But he never was a tenant. He's just >> Back in the restaurant, the squatter claimed that he paid the owner tens of thousands of dollars for the building. He claimed that the owner had violated the terms of the PO [music] by repeatedly approaching him and telling him to leave. >> Well, I'm I'm at home in my my office my cameras go off. I look at it he robusting down the door on my on my property my restaurant. So I show up here and I called the officer over here and they're like, well, he's got paperwork here's this and here's that. No, dude, I literally own this property and they just the cops are good they just said they're not doing anything wrong. Cops are just huge but uh you know, well I mean literally this is make it simple. It's my property I own it. I have a deed. I paid taxes. And they There's some people that are sitting in the building. >> It's a It's a deed that used to be a tenant. >> It wasn't even a tenant. The contract was never as a tenant. >> He never paid you money, so the contract is void. >> The owner, Justin, said that once the man broke in, he destroyed the security cameras and immediately began reorganizing his restaurant. Back inside, an officer was busy sorting through the squatter's paperwork. The squatter's strategy seemed to be to confuse and bog the police down in paperwork. >> Has he texted you or called you or done anything like that? >> Uh not since they ordered this OP, but that's because White Oaks Mall completely trespassed him from the property cuz he came here and caused us so many problems. And I own a coffee shop in the mall, and one day we were closed and Justin was there. He came every day for 2 weeks and it was 2 weeks straight every day the mall put it put it together through their security cameras. [music] And he came there 2 weeks every day and then finally one day when we weren't closed, he actually entered into my coffee shop where security caught [music] him. And he was in there taking pictures of [ __ ] Don't do [ __ ] And And they were there ran him out. The police came and Justin ran out of the mall before the police could come. I mean, you guys There's probably at least 10 police reports on file against [music] him. >> Spinning. >> He pulled that morning I confronted him about the camera. >> Where's the 500 ft? >> Oh, I don't know. That's just what the judge told me that day. Yeah, I'm not for sure. I don't know. >> Okay. >> It was a bold strategy, and it really did slow the police down as the protection orders were based in different counties [music] with a law changing from county to county. Essentially, it required the police to chase down authorities and review the law across counties. >> I I told him that. I said, "I don't have anything that says he is allowed to be here." >> Well, he's locked up in the home jail. >> But we do know that they have had an ongoing issue with a renter tenant. Why Why has an eviction not been filed and served? >> Well, if you said it's filed, so you just said it hasn't been filed yet. So, he hasn't been evicted though. >> He never was a tenant. >> Well, we're we're not getting anywhere here. Um >> Did you show me a lease a minute ago? >> I did. Here's my lease. Right here. Landlord may terminate this lease if tenant breaches any He never paid me rent. So, this this this this is the only paperwork we ever had. He had a lease with me, a month-to-month lease. I terminated it like 3 months ago with him. Doesn't matter if this is over >> Go ahead. Or what it was, he was not a tenant cuz he never paid me rent. He needs to be removed from my property. I'm asking you to remove him from my property. You don't have to arrest him. I'm asking you to remove him out of my property. >> Can you give me the paperwork that he's trying to show you? >> You know I can't because it's it's his No, no, it's from the court. I talked to the court in Sangamon County. Circuit Clerk has it. >> It's just >> [music] >> what is >> But they don't it's a civil no contact no stalking order. >> Hey, but it doesn't say that he has permission to go break into my property, right? >> It just says It says you can't be here if he's here. Is all it says. >> Okay, what does it say? That because he has a no contact order, he can break into my property? Get me out of >> I don't care. He was Even if he if he moved in, he has his stuff in there, he's still the tenant whether he paid you or not. And then you terminate that, but then you still have to go through the eviction process. We will remove them from the building. >> Finally, it was beginning to look like Justin would get some justice. The officers had heard enough, and they made their way into the restaurant to tell the squatter and his comrades that it was time to go. >> All right. You guys all have to leave. >> Why? >> You have nothing to say cuz you can be here. >> You just made two up. >> No, you have an order for You have a civil no contact and no stalking order, which is not valid cuz it is not recent. If you want to go to jail >> I'll go to jail. >> No, I'll go to jail. ALL OF YOU, EVERYBODY HERE >> NO. I NEED to leave. >> No. >> I am I'm not You know, SIGN BY HIS ATTORNEY. MY GUEST IS ATTORNEY. >> You guys can't just make up laws. This was my I WAS >> ALL RIGHT, LEAVE IT. Get out of here. You go now or you're going to go to jail. >> I'm not going to go to jail. >> All right, take him to jail. Go. Hook him up. Turn around, put your hands behind your back. >> For what? >> Trespass. >> For trespassing? >> Yes. >> The squatter denied that he was trespassing and demanded to speak to a supervisor. But the officer he was talking to was actually the supervisor and he was sick and tired of their excuses. >> I'm not trespassing. >> Turn around and put your HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK >> LIKE YOU WERE TOLD. >> I was just hurting my back. >> Ow, my back's hurting. >> Your back? >> [laughter] >> Shut up, man. >> My back's hurting. >> Do you want the ambulance? >> I need the ambulance. >> Really? What is your >> I'm getting >> What is your name? >> I'm not allowed to give that. >> No. You are You give me your name or you go to jail, too. >> For what? >> For obstructing a police officer. YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS. YOU GIVE YOUR INFORMATION. >> ACTUALLY, I'M IN THE MIDDLE of this, too. >> TURN AROUND AND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> WILL DO. >> You are required to give me your information. >> I'm not. >> Yes, you are. You are A WITNESS TO THE CRIME. >> TO WHAT CRIME? >> FOR TRESPASSING. >> What's trespassing? >> You know how crooked you are? Shut the >> You know how crooked you are? >> While the suspects complained the entire way, the officers escorted them out. >> I can get a whole god damn finger in there. That ain't tight. >> What is wrong? Ow, why are you squeezing me? >> You guys are hurting me. >> What's wrong with you? >> I'm trying to be a nice guy. >> Oh my god. >> I'VE BEEN NICE. >> THERE'S NOT A COURT ORDER. >> YES, THERE IS. I CAN'T WAIT TILL TOMORROW WHEN WE GO to court. >> It's not been served. It's not valid. >> Can I say something? >> You guys are being >> I'm going to give you my name. >> I'm complying with you. >> No, you're not. >> I'm complying with you. >> No, I asked for your name. You didn't give it. >> Before that After that, sir, I was complying with you. I've been complying with you this whole time. >> NO, YOU'VE NOT BEEN COMPLYING with me at all. >> I I haven't said anything. I've been arguing with you this whole time, sir. >> You have not said anything. >> That's what you're doing right now. >> I'm going to go to this first charge. This >> You got to hear what I was going to say before you reject somebody. >> I I can't wait till the final charge is dismissed. >> Over here. >> Trespassing, they just give you a court date and kick you out, right? >> Thanks. >> All right, >> really care either way. I know I'm in the right. >> I said this whole situation is >> My attorney said you guys would do this. We already >> We both know this whole thing's a mess, correct? >> No, you guys are taking me out of the house for no reason. >> That's not okay. >> I mean you guys are literally doing the complete opposite for me that you did for him. You guys literally You guys forced your way into that building to kick me out. >> City police did. >> And we had to sit here for 40 minutes waiting for county to get here to serve me with the order of protection that wasn't even in effect yet. But now you guys are saying because there's not a date of birth on the order of protection it's no longer it's not valid. Come on. I'm not I'm not going to go back and forth Right, cuz you know you can't. Cuz you know you're wrong. >> I'm going to read it over you. >> Please don't yell about me. Don't spit on me. Don't do anything to me. >> The suspects were charged with trespassing, resisting, and obstructing. >> [music] >> On December 1st, 2025, police officers were dispatched to a residence following reports that a woman had been squatting in a property deemed unsuitable for living. When officers arrived on the scene, they were greeted by the building owner who had made the initial call. >> Been squatting in there for 4 months. >> Okay. >> No water the whole time. No water the whole time. >> Yeah, I know. I I ended up I was the one who called in about no water. >> Oh, okay. >> Cuz so >> Well, you see they um always keep on giving me a song and a dance. >> All right. You want to go get the woman in the house back there? >> Yeah. A little bit of it. They said in 4 months >> Yeah. >> know We know they've They're not They're not We know they've been >> Yeah. >> The officers were more than a little familiar with the squatter, Tara Sherrod, as they had dealt with her in the past over similar squatting allegations and other offenses. After speaking with the owner, they made their way up to the property to confront her. >> Hey. >> Who's even Oh. >> Woah. >> Yes. Hi Jay. [music] Hi Jay, I came over there to your house, too. >> Yep. You know you're not supposed to be in this building. >> I called up town and they said give me 2 weeks cuz I was getting the the plumbing fixed and I'm getting ready to give him a cashier's check. [music] If you don't want it, that's fine with me, too. A cashier's check. I just told them this road yesterday. That's up to you. >> Okay. >> [music] >> For this house. You said you want to sell it. You still want to sell it or not? >> Okay. Hey, what's your name? >> Scherrod. >> What's your Spell your last name? >> S C H E R R O >> Oh, can we come in? >> No. You cannot come [music] in my house. >> Okay. Is there going to be officers inside? >> No, there's nobody in this house right now. And I'm not in a very good mood. >> Okay, well, hey, you're not going to go back in there. What's your officer's >> Up at the up at the up there cuz she said she was going to give me 2 weeks and then they were going to come back to the lady up at the >> What's your name? >> Tim is who I talked to, the gentleman. I got a card. I'll spell it. >> spell your last name? >> You don't know how to spell Scherrod? >> No. Spell it. >> She had an excuse for everything. The officer told her that the home was condemned, literally pointing to the sign on the door and explaining that the water had been shut off. However, she claimed that she had a plumber come over and fix it. But that didn't change the fact that she was still illegally [music] squatting and the owner wanted her removed. >> This has been prohibited for over a month. >> I was in the hospital. Didn't you just hear me? I just got >> You weren't. We literally saw you outside of here last week. >> You didn't see me. >> last name. Spell your last name. >> Well, I've only been in here twice. >> Spell your last name. Spell your last name. >> S C H E R R O D. Spell it out. Excuse me. Okay. That was your room. You don't have a key? Oh. Open the door. >> Am I under arrest? >> Open the door. OPEN THE DOOR. >> UNDER ARREST? >> Open the door. If you don't tell me your name, that's obstructing identification, and you're going to be under arrest. OPEN THE DOOR. OPEN. OPEN. >> There's There's prohibited. Go. >> Should I kick it in? >> Yep. >> AM I UNDER ARREST? AM I UNDER ARREST? >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. Obstructing identification. >> I just live in here. And my dog is >> Put YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HAND. >> MY HAND. MY HAND WON'T GO UNDER my back. I got you on video right now. >> Well, it doesn't matter to me. >> Okay, that's what I need you to do. >> Give me your hand. >> [screaming] >> No. >> The officers were not playing around. She could have done things the easy way by packing her belongings and agreeing to leave the property, but now she was being taken out in cuffs. If it was indeed true that she was dealing with health issues, she only made her situation [music] worse with legal issues. >> You're hurting Okay, you are Oh. Oh. Oh, no. >> GIVE ME YOUR HAND. >> GET YOUR BACK OFF ME. I GOT 3 C BROKEN TOES. YOU'RE NOT HOLDING ME RIGHT NOW. I am not resisting. >> You're resisting. in the wrong, you idiot. I am I am calling to my attorney. You did not have no reason to do that. No. That is uncalled for. I want that book right there. I'm going to call. I want my book. Can you give me my book? I'm asking you right there. I want my phone. You can give it to me right now. I'm not going anywhere. I'm under arrest for what? Gabe, that that camera in there is got I need it. Will you give it to me? Go get my phone. Give it to Okay, I got Guys, you guys are so I did not resist you nothing. I shut the door to get the paperwork on my attorney. You got your right What's your What's your Get in the car. What is you How What's YOUR BADGE >> BADGE NUMBER is 195. My name is Officer Padgett. >> Okay, that's it. >> With Tara secured in the back of a police cruiser, [music] the officers made their way back inside the house. They needed to make sure that she was the only one squatting there, so they conducted a room-by-room search. [music] >> Who is your grandma on Facebook? >> [snorts] >> Cuz you look >> I don't know. >> Did you guys already clear this side? >> No, not over there. >> Ma'am, please respond if you're inside. Make yourself known. What do you What there's door right there. >> Ma'am, please. Whoever's down here, make yourselves known. >> [snorts] >> A complete search of the home didn't turn up any more squatters. [music] It appeared that Tara had been living alone on the property with her dog. Next, the officers made their way back onto the front porch where they reconvened with the other officers to discuss the charges. >> She broke into the building. She is the property owner. No one's supposed to be in the home. You open the door. Tell them to come out. No one's supposed to be in the home. Or is it a lease agreement? No, it's a fresh lease. I figured that would make that null. It goes forward. Right. So, just go straight off the city [music] charges. You give her a directive to exit the property. Yeah. Yeah. So, at that point, she's criminally trespassing. >> Yeah. >> Obstructing, you got resisting arrest. Yeah, you're good. >> Oh, no, she's good. I just didn't know if that made this lease thing void. Obviously, you can't >> Just go off the city charges. Yeah. Get off. And that's why I want you to photograph the door. Go off the city charges. >> Oh, I see what you're saying. I thought you meant where I kicked it in. >> Right. >> Is that your dog or is that her dog? >> It is >> Tara Sherod was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing identification, and criminal trespassing. >> [music] >> On September 9th, 2024, police officers were dispatched to a residence after a caller reported that someone had broken into her home and was taking a shower. >> Hi. >> Once another officer gets here, we're going to go in there and we'll get her out. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah, we just walked in, heard the shower going, and the door is closed. So, I didn't physically see her. >> Okay. >> But, you can hear there's somebody in there. >> Are the doors open still? >> Yeah, I left I left it unlocked. >> Okay. You give us permission to go inside. You want her charged and everything like that. Fantastic. You guys just want to hang out here. Well, I'm sure we're going to talk to you after this, okay? So, front door is open. They walked in. They heard the shower going and the door is closed. >> She has no She's like going in. >> She's trespassing. Yeah, she She said we could go in. >> It was a shocking circumstance. No one expects to go out for a quick errand and return home to find someone in their home using their shower. With the homeowner's permission, the officers didn't waste any time entering the property to confront the suspect. >> Hello. >> What is it? >> Monster Police Department. >> How can I help you? >> You come on out. We need to talk to you. >> I'm not coming out there, sir. >> Then come out here. We need to talk to you, all right? >> Yes, sir. I just got in and I just left the police station. You guys came to my house a couple of nights ago and I had to go through a >> Put your clothes on. Put your clothes >> Okay, I'll put my >> PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON. >> I DON'T HAVE ANY CLOTHES ON. >> PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON. PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON. >> OKAY, so what? >> PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON. NO. Stop talking. Put your clothes on. >> Okay, CAN YOU SAY THAT AGAIN? >> NO. NO. PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON. PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON. >> THE OFFICERS probably didn't expect that. The woman answered the door completely naked. Before they removed her from the property and asked her any further questions, they first needed her to put some clothes on. >> Just get your clothes on and step out. Put your clothes on. I'M WALKING TO MY CAR. PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON, AND STEP OUT. >> I keep my clothes in my car. I keep my I keep my I keep my clothes in You got This is like everybody else. I just live in THIS SPACE. JUST NOW. >> JUST NOW? >> They [clears throat] got A BABY HERE. I HAVE BEEN HERE FAITHFULLY SINCE A MONTH AGO. A MONTH AGO. >> HOW DOES HOW DOES [laughter] she keep getting back in? Where she getting in? >> She didn't let me in. >> No, dude. We told you to get your clothes. Get your clothes on. Did Did she get a back gate or did >> She's never lived here. >> She's never lived here? >> She has no associations with this place. >> The woman, Dominique Goodson, emerged from the washroom and began rambling off a series of excuses that didn't make any sense. The officers already knew that she had no association with the home, and they weren't buying her false claims. >> I'm not I'm not doing anything illegal. I just LEFT MY HERE. I DON'T NEED TO TURN AROUND. SO, I JUST LEFT THE APARTMENT TO PICK UP MY KEYS. I JUST CAME FROM THERE. I JUST MOVED IN AS OF AUGUST. YOU GUYS ARE THE ONES THAT HELPED ME IN. I'M TRYING TO FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT. YOU GUYS ARE NOT IN THE OFFICE, AND YOU GUYS ARE COMING THROUGH MY DOOR. I'M NOT ILLEGAL. YOU CAN RUN ME, AND YOU CAN LOOK IT UP. I GAVE YOU ALL OF THE INFORMATION, AND I HAVE TO GO BACK TO GET MY APARTMENT. THAT'S IT. YOU GUYS ARE WALKING INTO MY YOU GUYS are walking INTO MY RESIDENCE LIKE I DON'T LIVE HERE. I I'M I'M JUST I'M I'M JUST NOW COMING HOME. YOU GUYS JUST DID THIS, AND YOU GUYS ARE THE ONES THAT FINISHED THE ONES THAT HELPED ME TO GET IN HERE. SO, YOU KNOW I'M NOT ILLEGAL. WELL, THIS I I JUST LEFT THE VILLAGE IS WHAT I'M TRYING TO TELL YOU. I HAVE MY INFORMATION, AND YOU GUYS GOT SOME AS WELL. AND IT SHOULD BE IN YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM. SO, THIS IS NOT ILLEGAL. ONLY THING IS I HAVE TO GET TO THE I'm going to the BNB in the morning. I'm sorry. I'M GOING IN THE MORNING BECAUSE YOU GUYS HAVE SOMETHING, YOU KNOW, A COLLECTION OF SYSTEMS SOMEWHERE. I'm getting A BNB EARLY IN THE MORNING so I can get all the documents SO I CAN GET EVERYTHING TRANSFERRED OVER. UNTIL THEN, I CAN'T DO ANYTHING UNTIL YOU GUYS ARE OPEN. YOU GUYS ARE CLOSED, AND YOU GUYS ARE KICKING IN THE DOOR. >> [music] >> You didn't kick in the door. >> WELL, I MEAN, YOU'RE STANDING IN THE DOOR. >> A HOUSE KEY OR SOMETHING? >> YEAH, AND YES, AND IT'S YOUR PROPERTY. COULD YOU TAKE ME? I CAN DEFINITELY GIVE IT TO YOU, AND I WILL OPEN MY DOORS. >> DO YOU HAVE A DO YOU HAVE >> STOP TALKING. I'M SORRY. I understand, officer. >> have a lease agreement for that >> Yes, I have keys to the front door. I have keys to my back. I have keys to the entire place. >> Do you have a copy of the lease agreement for >> The Well, this is I I purchased this home I purchased this home from somebody a couple of years ago, and I just moved in in August. >> She said that she bought the home from someone who doesn't even live in Illinois. She said that the seller mailed her the keys and said, "Congratulations, you're now a homeowner." She told the officers that she could easily prove that she was the lawful homeowner. >> You purchased this home >> Yes, I did, sir. >> And so, you don't know from what realtor >> Uh it's Sold by Deed. So, Sold by Deed is the realtor, BUT I DO HAVE MY KEYS. SO, if we we we you can GET MY PROPERTY LIKE I WILL GIVE you all of my information, and you can get it in >> information showing that [music] you >> EVERYTHING THAT I I OWN EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE WENT to the station. ONLY THING I HAVE TO GO to They told me I have to go to the BNB in Griffith. And once I get there, they can switch everything over for me, and that's going to take like 10 or 14 days. >> Purchase of >> You The only thing No, everything everything that I purchased No, there's They don't give you anything. When you purchase something, you sign in a lease agreement, and it's over with. I'm not paying them a monthly note, so I don't have anybody to consort with. So, I don't have a consorter, but what I do have >> gave you They were [music] never given >> Well, I MEAN, I GOT KEYS, AND I GOT AND I AND I and I got my transfer information to get over with the BNB like, you know, transfer plates and titles and stuff like that to get my house together. I got furniture coming. That's about it. >> Dominique said that she didn't have any information proving she was the homeowner, but said she did have the keys. But unfortunately, having the keys is not enough to prove you're a homeowner. If that's the case, people can just steal other people's house keys and move in like they own the place. >> Well, I got the UH 2 DAYS AGO, THEY GOT MY THINGS AND BRING IT TO ME, and they say, "You don't have anything everything registered. You don't have to worry about coming here and if anything happens, let us know. That's the only thing that they told me. So, I don't have anything against me. I don't have anything or none of that stuff. So, that's why I'm saying, if you need to see that information cuz I just left from there. There's nobody in the building for them to process the information to give it back. I would gladly take you there and you can get you can come with me as well and you can bring me back and you can lock everything up. I'll let you lock everything up and you can see that I entered this house with my key. That's the only thing I can tell you. >> Where's your key at? >> In property at Monster, Indiana. Because this is the because this is my door. My back door I had to my back door used [laughter] to be fixed. I need to go to the Ace Hardware. Only thing that I have I don't have a lot of tools. I don't have anything. The only thing that I have is the things that you see now. I have to I have to salvage up on food and and furniture and everything. I'm just new to I'm just new to the community. So, now I'm trying to get everything done so I can, you know, live a homely life and get some things together, but I can't do that. SOMEBODY GOT THE DOOR SAYING, "HEY, WELL, WHO LIVES HERE?" YOU KNOW, I LIVE HERE and if I live here, then I have to be a just like everybody else. You know what I mean? I'm not causing any trouble and I'm not causing any drama. THIS IS BRINGING CONFLICT TO MY COMMUNITY. I'VE BEEN GOOD SINCE AUGUST since I moved IN. NOW, THEY'RE LIKE, "WHAT'S GOING ON, THE NEIGHBORS? WHAT'S GOING ON WITH ALL OF THESE OFFICERS COMING AROUND to the property that's been sold?" >> It was an absolutely ridiculous excuse. [music] The best part was when the officers asked how she got in this time and she said she needed to consult someone to repair the back door when she was the one who most likely broke it to get in. >> What's in the bag? >> Um these are personals. I went and picked up a charger for my phone cuz my phone was dying. Uh I got a some personals some personal things that I got. That's about it. I just left the store. >> did you shower >> [music] >> Well, I just came home. That's what I'm saying. I'm hot. I'm sweaty. This is this is my it's my phone and then all of my personal stuff. I'm sorry? >> Did you use the shower? >> I just came home and I yeah, I just came home, sir. I just came home and I'm in the house. >> That's okay. I'm going to I'm going to place you under arrest. >> That's okay, but can we go get my keys, sir? Because this This [laughter] ridiculous. You guys are looking for our owner and that's who I am. And I don't LIKE HOW YOU GUYS KEEP coming to my door. You can leave. So, once again, you have no right to be on my property. Okay, so once we go to the police station, is it possible that you can pick up my property and I'll let you know where I stored the keys? I have them. I would like you to come to the door and open it. I want to talk to the owner. So, this is where I live. WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO LIVE ON THE STREETS? I'M NOT HOMELESS, SIR. SO, WHERE IS MY ADDRESS? >> GO TO THE JUDGE. >> OKAY, SO I'M NOT ALLOWED ALL RIGHT, WILL YOU BE ABLE TO GET MY KEYS, SIR? >> [music] >> And come back TO THE PROPERTY. OKAY, AS LONG AS WE COME BACK TO THE PROPERTY, CUZ THIS IS GETTING EMBARRASSING. EVEN MY NEIGHBORS WILL TELL YOU. THERE'S no reason for you guys to keep coming to this woman's residence. And you guys are not residents, you're police officers. Yeah, and like you got my neighbors outside. Like I don't You guys are getting very disrespectful. So, I can get my property so I can show you. And I don't have to show you anything. You're not my husband. And if I CALL MY AND IF I CALL MY HUSBAND, YOU GUYS are going to be looking sick. Are you going to be able to Yeah, so Okay, are you going to be able to get the property, sir, and come back to the residence so I can show you the keys that open the door because I don't have to lie. >> The suspect was charged with trespassing and one felony count of breaking and entering. On April 24th, 2023, a Georgia police officer was dispatched to a residence following a call involving a potential squatter at a vacant property. When the officer arrived at the scene, he was greeted by workers tasked with repairing the property. >> We got a squatter in there, we got a dog in there. >> I don't know. >> I don't know. We can't see the dog. We can't even get to where the dog at. >> Where he at? >> Where the man at? >> I don't know where he We don't I don't want to go in there cuz I don't know if he's if he's in there. He's got something in there. I don't want nobody to get hurt. You know what I'm saying? That's why, you know, Major Wolfe. >> Mhm. >> That's my brother. I called him, and told me to call y'all. But >> the dog is right here. We can't get in cuz the door locked. The dog is there. >> It was understandable that even though the man had permission to enter the residence, they didn't want to. They didn't know who was behind the door or how big the dog was. The workers had the keys to the property. However, whoever was squatting inside had changed the locks. >> Sheriff's office. It sound like he a big dog. I'm saying I don't I don't know if he tied up behind the door or what. That's what I'm saying. That's all it is. Open the damn door. And put the dog up, too. >> Someone was definitely home. Although it was unclear what he was yelling back to them, but it was clear that whoever was inside didn't want to come out. The officers radioed for animal control to come to the scene while he and the workers continued to try to gain entry. >> But open the door then. Open the door then. The sheriff out here, man. Sheriff's office, open the door. Sheriff's office. Open the door. >> You're going to probably get get the dog with you. >> Right now. Right now. On that hand. You're going to fall right now. >> No, I can't. We can get in right now. You're going to fall. >> What? Why did you give me the towel? >> Get the dog out. >> The baby said they would do I'm doing it right here. >> Get the damn dog out. >> Oh, all right. Yeah, this is actually a police officer. >> Yeah, get your >> Hey, man. Well, why didn't you say? You said you were the police and then All right. All right. I'm coming, man. Hey, what the hell, man? Hey, hey, there's a police officer. He's He's He's attacking me right now. No. No. No. Look, this is my friend's house. Why is this guy He's handcuffing me right now. I All I'm doing is cooperating. Ma'am, help me. I'm with you in my friend's house. All right, can I get my dog? Why are you arresting me? Can I get my dog? Can I get my dog, please? He's attacking me right now. He told me to get my dog and now he's attacking me and he's trying to take my phone. >> Now wasn't the time for phone calls. The officer had instructed him to put his hands behind his back, but he refused to comply and it wasn't long before the officer had had enough of his games. >> HELP ME. JEN, >> [screaming] >> HELP. JEN. WAIT, HE'S TOUCHING ME. HE'S TOUCHING ME. >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK NOW. >> JEN, HELP. NO, HE'S HE'S ATTACKING ME. HELP. HELP. HELP. I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING. He's got to He's attacking me. I'm not doing anything. I didn't resist. Get your HANDS OFF ME. WHY IS HE ATTACKING POLICE BRUTALITY? BRUTALITY. THESE GUYS ARE attacking me and laughing. THEY'RE LAUGHING AND ATTACKING ME. ZANE! NO. WHY? ZANE! HELP! >> You're going TO JAIL. >> WHY? WHY? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? What's wrong with you? Leave me alone. Help! Help! Help! Help! I'm not doing anything. Help! Help me! Help! I didn't do anything. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU ANIMALS? YOU'RE AN ANIMAL. OH, you're some crooked little cowards. YOU'RE A CROOKED NASTY ugly You're a nasty little pathetic coward. I scare you. You're a rat. A rat in a pen. >> The officer held the suspect on the ground until backup arrived.
