Drag me. No, you just drag me. >> What am I doing? >> Drag me. >> Smell like booze. >> Well, yeah. You have to understand. >> So, now what? >> Will you give me a break? >> I asked you I asked you what you were doing and you lied to me. >> So, do you have anything on your purses that you have? >> I mean, seriously, look at me, dude. >> I can't believe I could survive in jail. Are you serious? Drunk drivers risk more than just their own lives. They also put the lives of innocent people in danger. But when their reckless choices finally catch up with them and they come face to face with law enforcement, the excuses start flowing. And that's when the worst drunk driver tries to play the victim. >> No. No. She has no rights. >> No. Who has no rights? >> You. Me. Okay. Sit up. >> On October 3rd, 2025, officers in Georgia responded to a call about a road rage incident. By the time police arrived, the two drivers involved had already pulled over following the incident. Soon, the officers contacted the driver of the vehicle that had allegedly caused the [music] crash. >> Hi. >> You have your ID on you? >> Yes. Can I see your ID, please? Can I see your ID, please? >> Mhm. >> Let's talk about what's going on. >> Yes. >> So, um they asked for my ID. That's my American idea. >> I'm sorry. I'm African. >> That's fine. It's okay. >> You're Asian? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Try somebody else. >> Try what? >> Somebody else. >> Try somebody else. >> Yes. >> This whole American and Asian. Was my I'm tired. That has nothing to do with nothing. >> The officer was kind enough to find a non-Asian cop to speak with the suspect. She was clearly nervous and perhaps feeling guilty, judging by how quickly she decided to play the race card. Soon, however, [music] the driver of the vehicle that had been hit explained what had happened. So um you see it's two rows. So I was coming this way and she's coming like behind me but in this side and then she cut me off right here. So you can see like she have like a scratch under and >> yeah I'm looking at the damage. Yeah. And then you have damage on the car as well. >> Okay. >> And then she tried to run away like I catch her up like it's right away before the turn but she run to this and then I Yeah. Okay, I horn the car but she didn't stop. So I just follow her and then she says she a resident here. So she tried to come in here but I h the car to make her stop here. >> Okay. >> So like and then she's very aggressive. She's yelling at me. She said it's my fault. And then she's like and something like that. >> It turned out that the suspect had attempted a hit and run. The victim then added something else that was extremely important to solve the case and should be a factor in the officer's decision. According to her, the suspect wasn't sober at all. >> And then she she kind of like get drunk or something. I have the video like she not walking straight and she just go around and around. >> Okay. >> So we we'll talk with her and we'll see um if we smell anything or anything like that. We'll end we'll go from there. Okay. >> Thank you. >> Yeah, of course. Um, let me get >> Wait, did you call 911 or did your husband call 911? >> I called 911. >> You called 911. Okay. So, that phone number is a good phone number to reach you by. >> Yeah. Okay. >> So, um, just one more time for you. So, you were coming in from Jennings Mill. >> Yeah. I She come by the Starbucks. >> Yeah. Near the Starbucks. >> Near the Starbucks. She got me like near the Starbucks. Not this way, but she run this way and I I follow her. >> Okay. >> The officers fulfilled the suspect's request for a non-Asian officer. It didn't help much, and it also didn't change the fact that her behavior and speech suggested she was probably intoxicated. On top of that, the suspect appeared [music] completely uncooperative. >> Go get that situated. >> Go get one situated. >> Hey, ma'am. What's going on? >> Let him get it situated. >> Let him get what situated? >> My ID. >> Your ID? What about it? >> Nothing. >> So, what happened today? Where are we out here? >> Nothing. >> It doesn't look like nothing. It looks like there's an accident that happened. So, where where did it happen at? >> Just verify. Just verify. Just verify. Grandpa just >> So, what happened? >> Nothing. They're fired. I'm talking to you. I want to know what your side of the scope is. >> Nothing. >> Nothing. >> So, it Where did this damage on your car come from? >> Who are you talking to on the phone? >> My grandpa. >> Okay. Can you hang up the phone? >> You can hang up the phone, please. >> Why are you refusing to answer my question? >> Because the way the so the way [music] that society is. >> What about society? Ma'am, I have my rice. Right. >> The suspect denied hitting the other vehicle. However, the white paint on her car told a different story, and it didn't help her that she couldn't explain where it came from. She also denied drinking alcohol. Soon, however, she tried to piece together her own version of what happened. >> So, I was trying to come in here. She can't pass me. So, how does that work? >> I don't know. You tell me. I need you to tell me what happened. I need your version of events. >> I was trying to come in here. I was trying to call my husband. >> Mhm. >> Happy and No. Hang up the phone. No. Hang up the phone. What happened while you were passing the Starbucks? What happened was she came past me thinking. >> Was that when you got in here? >> I want to know what happened when you turned in from Atlanta Highway past the Starbucks. >> You see it now? >> I see it. >> You see my phone? >> Yeah, I see your phone. >> Investigate. >> That's what I'm trying to do. >> The officer had no time to lose. She got straight to the [music] point, asking the suspect how much she had drunk that day. This time, the driver responded more honestly, admitting that she had consumed wine. The officer then asked her to perform a field sobriety test. >> Stand with your hands down by your side. Keep your feet together like this. Just like so. >> Huh? >> Okay. All right. So, I'm going to You stand like this. Don't move. Okay. I'm going to give you instructions. All right. So, what I'm going to do is you're going to look at my finger >> and you're going to follow with your eyes and your eyes only. Do not move your head. Okay? Your eyes and your eyes only. Only with your finger. My finger. Sorry. With your eyes and your eyes only, please. All right. >> Yeah. All right. So, I need I need you to >> I need you to put your hands behind your back for me. Okay. >> Okay. Can we do I need you to put N I need you put your hands behind your back for me. N I'm sorry. Don't make it any worse. All right. No, ma'am. Put your hands behind your back for me. It's not that serious. You don't want to add any other charges. Okay. >> Just put your hands behind your back for me. Okay. >> Is that a >> driving under the influence? Yes. Is it? >> It's a ticket. Can we >> It's a traffic ticket. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. >> Also, these please, please. >> Okay. Can you How about you lean up against here and let me tighten these so that way these don't tighten on you anymore. Okay. >> You can call your husband when you get to the jail. Okay. >> But I have my rights. >> During the arrest, the suspect repeatedly insisted that she had rights. Even though she couldn't explain why she was innocent, she continued to argue that she was being wrongfully detained. The officers, however, weren't interested in debating with her. >> No. No. She has no rights. >> Who has no rights? >> You. Me. Okay. >> Sit up. >> You have no rights. >> Sit up. >> This is legal. >> I am putting you in a seat belt. No, this is legal. No, this is legal. You have no rights. You're kidding me. >> Okay, thank you. Do you need anything from your vehicle? >> Yes. >> Can you please, please? >> Please. >> What do you need? >> What do you need? >> You have no rights. >> The suspect was eventually taken to jail. She was charged with driving under the influence and obstruction. On October 3rd, 2024, officers responded to a call about a three vehicle car crash captured by a CCTV camera. One vehicle collided with two other cars at an intersection. Officers were dispatched to [music] the scene. Upon arrival, they spoke with the people involved in the collision. You okay? You want an ambulance to come check you out? >> No, I'm good. You good? >> Am I not okay? Am I bleeding? I don't know. I'm fine. >> You think you're good? >> Hey, babe. >> Yeah. >> What's going on? >> Nothing, man. It was a traffic accident. >> Okay. Anything to drink today? >> No, man. >> No. >> No. >> Okay. Um, hop out and get your license, registration, transform me. >> The driver's name was Ben. The officer could detect slur speech. On top of that, Ben's vehicle was visibly sitting in the oncoming lane after colliding headon with another car. Suspecting that he was driving under the influence, the officers had more questions for him. >> What What were you doing exactly? I was crossing the lane. >> You were in his lane. >> Yeah. Well, apparently I I don't know. I >> You don't know? >> No, I >> Which way were you coming from? >> I was coming from that way, dude. >> That lane? >> Yeah. >> Going this way? >> Yeah. >> Then somehow you got into the turn lane. >> I guess so. >> Okay. Keep looking for your stuff. >> The driver's version of events didn't sound convincing to the officer. Soon he spoke with the other people involved in the crash. Their account helped the police clarify what happened. >> So this guy came across here. >> Yeah. I was in the the lane closer to us. >> Uhhuh. >> Turning that way. >> Okay. So that's legal, right? >> Yeah. >> So this car just came out of nowhere, hit me. Right. >> So So you were turning? >> Yeah, I was turning. >> He He was turning. It's a double turn lane. He was turning like you were supposed to. This guy was on the left side of straight. >> He came straight through. Didn't turn in the turn lane. Smash him who was in the right turn lane >> and then smash right into me. >> And you were in the left turn lane to turn. >> Yeah, I was right here to turn left. >> Yeah. Okay. All right. If you guys decide you want a to come check you, let me know. Okay. >> Other than alcohol, it was hard to think of other possible reasons that had caused Ben to drive into oncoming traffic and crash into two vehicles. Even so, the officers gave him another chance to provide a logical explanation. >> I was going straight from what? >> Yeah. back there. >> Look, there's three different roads, though. Which Which road were you on? >> I was going straight. >> Okay. So, you came from I5. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> No. No. >> Well, I guess it was I5. I don't >> Well, towards I5 anyways. >> No, not really. >> Okay. Where were you coming from then? >> Well, I guess you could say I5, but Where where were you at prior to this crash? >> I was uh >> I was down at uh >> Do you know where you are right now? >> Yes, I do. >> Where? >> Okay. Um All right. I was I was coming from Eventually, he managed to recall that he had been coming from a casino and was on his way home. The officers then asked him again whether he had been drinking that day. This time, he gave them a different answer. >> Hey, Ben, have you been drinking today? >> Yeah, I have. >> How much have you had your drink, you think? >> Not much. >> Not much? What? What do you think not much is? >> No, I don't One or two drinks. >> One or two? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Okay. >> Okay. Do you have your registration with you as well? That's the green one. What about insurance? >> Do you have vehicle insurance? >> You know what? >> Do you need medical attention at all? >> I don't want to. I don't want to. I don't. >> That's Do you need medical attention? Yes or no? >> No, I don't. >> Soon, the officer suggested that he participate in a sobriety test to determine how much his intoxication was affecting his ability to drive. That may have frightened Ben because he suddenly changed the subject and tried to find an excuse for his condition. >> I have to let you know that I'm disabled. >> Okay. >> What What would that be? >> It's like a >> What? What does it prevent you from doing? >> It's a uh Cella disable. >> Okay. So, it's a head injury. >> Yes, it is. >> Okay. And what what does that result or make you do? Do you know? Because I don't know you, right? I've never talked to you before. >> I know. I know. I It doesn't make me do anything. It just >> does it like think you're bad for your balance. >> Cerebellraphy. >> Okay. What [music] does that I'm not familiar with that. >> You know what? I hate it as much as anyone else. >> Okay. And I guess I don't know what it is. That's why I'm asking what is what what exactly that does. >> I have no Okay. >> Because you've obviously been diagnosed with it. I don't I don't know what that is. >> So you you do what? >> That's why I'm asking. >> I've been diagnosed with it, but I don't know. >> He couldn't clearly explain the medical issue he claimed to have. The officers didn't buy his rambling, especially after they found empty alcohol bottles in his car. Ben had locked himself in the vehicle, so they did what was necessary to get him out. >> Unlock your door. >> Hey, come on now, man. >> Come on. >> Oh, dude. Now, >> what the [ __ ] Now, >> get out. Get out. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car, >> Ben. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> Right now, you're under arrest for obstruction. You're under arrest for obstruction. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car, >> Ben. Hey, focus on Focus. >> Focus. Get out of the car or we're going to drag you out. >> Resisting. >> Get out. Get out. >> Get out. >> Stop. >> Oh Jesus. Ben was far from happy with the way the officers handled him. Despite being drunk and impaired, he suddenly decided to give the cops a hard time, which only earned himself another charge. >> Oh, you [ __ ] >> I've been nice to you. >> No, you haven't. >> Yes, I have. >> That was my [ __ ] That's a felony truck. >> Oh, you dude. >> You're a felony charge. >> You just tried to kick him in the face. >> I don't give a felony charge. >> You're not listening, dude. >> The officers placed him in the patrol car. They tried to have a reasonable conversation with him, which wasn't easy. He continued refusing to cooperate until they mentioned his dog, which was still inside his vehicle. >> Take a deep breath. >> My dog is there. >> I know. We're going to take care of your dog. >> No, I don't. >> Your dog trust you. >> What's your dog's name? >> My dog's name is Lumi. >> Is what? >> Lumi. >> Lumie. Okay. So, who can we give Lumi to? Do you live with anybody? >> My wife. >> And is your wife at home? >> Probably. >> Okay. Do you live here in the city of Mary'sville? >> No. >> What city do you live in? >> I will call your wife if you unlock your phone or you just tell me what her phone number is. >> I can use my own phone. >> You need to help me out. Oh, Jesus Christ. Come on, man. >> After a while, Ben started raging inside the patrol car. The officers showed patience toward his behavior, but when the suspect attempted to kick the car door, the officer ran out of patience and restrained him. [screaming] [crying] >> Hold on. Hold on. [screaming] There you go, man. >> There you go. Sit down. >> Sit down. Sit down. >> There you go. Good man. [screaming] >> All right. We're going to roll you on your belly. Okay. Watch your head. There you go. Thank you. I'm sure that you're not this type of person. Well, you're not this intoxicated. >> Can we get that off? >> No, we do not. >> What the mother? >> Okay, put your head back. Okay. Wait, what are you trying to do? >> So, you can grab the legs. You grab him in the legs. I'll grab him by the back. >> What the? >> One, two, three. >> In the end, Ben was transported to the police station. It was proven that he had been drunk behind the wheel. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, obstruction, and assault on an officer. On July 23rd, [music] 2025, police responded to a report of a disturbance on Canon Street. A squad was dispatched [music] and upon arrival, the officers came across a suspicious looking black car. As they approached the vehicle, the cops were surprised by the condition of the female driver. >> Hello. >> Excuse me. >> Step out vehicle for me. Step out vehicle for the vehicle. >> I was helping him. Okay, step out the vehicle for me. You're reaching and grabbing for items that I don't know what is. I know one thing was a beer. I don't know what the other thing is that you were reaching and grabbing for. >> Excuse me. >> Three fire. Do I have 1069? >> Okay. >> Is this your vehicle? >> This is my vehicle. That man asked me to give him a ride. Okay. Um, I don't want you going back in the vehicle cuz I don't know what's in there and I don't want you reaching around in there. Let me put your first name. >> Okay. What's your first name? >> April. >> How do you spell that? >> M. >> M A H N Y. >> Whoa. I'm sorry. I did. I was drinking and he asked me to bring me >> to drop him off and then I was going to go back home after that. >> What's your last name? >> Mahoney. >> Even an inexperienced officer would have known the driver, April Mahoney, was completely drunk. She was really struggling with her condition while providing information to the officer. She wasn't even able to give her address. >> I Oakland. >> Oakland. Where's that at? >> Um I live on >> There's not an Oakland drive out here. Charlie 312 climb 312. >> Can I please? >> So, let me explain to you how we uh we came about this. Uh we had some concerned citizens notify us >> of your driving pattern. >> All right. >> Which which they believe that you you may be under the influence. >> Um yes. So, they they were continuing watching you, giving or dispatch updates as I was responding to this call. Um, as I uh get into the area, I see you parked. You're sitting stationary in the middle of a road that doesn't have a stop sign or anything >> because the the gentleman that I gave a ride to Florida, >> he gathered his stuff out of my van >> and he went to >> and then these he was sorry. >> Okay. So, you're stopped on the in the roadway, which there is no no there's not any stop sign or any reason to stop. There's nothing in there that you're trying to avoid, you know. Um, and you don't have your seat belt on either. >> Based on what she had already seen, the officer had one thing to do. She asked April to perform a field sobriety test to determine whether she was in condition to operate a motor vehicle. In [music] response, April made an honest confession. But I'm not going to tell you that I'm not intoxicated. I had a very bad >> day and I >> today or yesterday? What day? >> Today. Okay. >> Well, I appreciate your honesty. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Yep. I I appreciate your honesty. >> Um >> but um I can call my daughter to come pick me up, ma'am. >> Okay. Well, we >> Well, that's not an option like I explained to you at this particular point in time. I'm I'm going to do field soriety exercises. I can't say that you're going or not, you know. So, we'll do the field sobriety exercises. We'll go from there. It's one step at a time, you know. >> Okay. Please don't take me. >> The officer explained in detail what the field sobriety test involved. As soon as the first exercise began, April wasn't able to point to the tip of the pen, but that was only the beginning of her poor performance on the tests. >> Do not move your head. Do you understand these instructions? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. >> Don't move your head. >> 1528. >> Can you >> Yes. Say step forward. >> Yeah. Yeah. That's okay. That's all right. >> Female from going northbound here from Target. But you guys also need to understand that. >> She was instructed to keep her head still. Struggling to follow the pen with her eyes, she began moving her entire body instead. The exercise appeared to make her dizzy, but it was only the beginning. Soon, she would be faced with tests that were far more difficult for anyone who was as drunk as her. the line. Remember, right foot in front of it, heel touching your toe. >> So, left. >> No, I'm not. I already failed it. >> Okay. So, you don't want to continue. >> You're going to close your eyes and tilt your head back. All right. I haven't instructed you to do so. Yeah. >> Miss April. >> April, I need you to look at me. I just need you to stay with your feet together, your arms at your side. >> Yes. >> Do you understand these instructions? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, let's stand uh with our feet together, arms at her side. Close your eyes. Tilt your head back. >> Left, right, left. >> We'll just All right. One more exercise where you don't even have to close your eyes or anything like that. >> Um, >> all right. Do you understand these instructions? >> At 77 >> and you're going to end at 47. >> Okay. >> Do you understand these instructions? Yes, ma'am. >> You may be down. >> 774 27 out of Florida by number. >> Just take me home, please. >> The officer had seen enough to determine April's level of impairment. So, they soon stopped the test. April continued crying and begging them not to take her to jail. The officer, however, had to do her job. >> Please. >> All right. Just go ahead and keep your hands behind your back there. I'm going to take me to jail. We'll switch on. >> Please don't take me to jail >> right now. Do the uh indicators I observed during the field of writing exercises. You are being placed under arrest for driving on. >> Can you [clears throat] just take me? I I didn't drive. >> Okay. You were behind the wheel when I did conduct a traffic stop. You stopped the middle. >> I stopped and I I even took my [music] keys out of the >> Somebody please call my daughter. >> You just put your butt in first. If you turn around, put your butt in first and that you're less likely to strike your head. >> So turn around like that and then just put your butt in. >> I want to breathe first. Mommy, >> why are you locking me up? >> She tried to gain sympathy from the officers, but when she realized that wouldn't work, [music] she changed tactics. She tried to influence them using her medical condition and at the same time became hostile, uncooperative, and started playing the victim card. >> I have lung cancer. >> I'm sorry. and see your kitty. All right, let's have a seat. You have to give me a >> Okay, I gave you a couple minutes. I'll sit down. Sit down. >> You want to be sued? >> I'm telling you to sit down. >> So, please don't sit down and we have to make you sit down. It's not a charge. We don't need to start. >> I'm not polite, >> but can you sit me down? >> But I need to breathe. >> Just fine right now. I'll roll the window down for you. You need to have a seat in your vehicle. You need to go. We need to go so that way you can get in some air conditioning and get out of these handcuffs. >> I'm just telling you, give me a minute, please. >> Okay, we've given you over a minute here. All right, you need to have a seat. >> It's been more than a minute. >> Have a seat. This is your last. >> Sit down. >> Sit down. >> Ma'am, I'm telling you, give me a minute so I can breathe. >> Sit down. Put your feet. >> That's all I'm asking you. I will get in the car, but give me a minute to breathe. Get your feet out. That's all we need you to do. Just get in the car. >> See, you can sit there. Now you can do this. >> Roll the window out. >> Where's my inhalers and everything? >> Look at that. You need your inhaler? Well, get that. Bring your purse. >> My Where's Yeah. Where's your inhaler at? >> Everything with my >> Okay. >> April was transported to jail. She was charged with driving under the influence with a breath alcohol level of 0.08 >> [music] >> 08 or higher, obstructing without violence and battery on an officer. On January 17th, 2026, police in Wnebago County, Illinois, responded to a call about an alleged drunk driver. The officers were dispatched and soon caught up with the suspect, finding her car after it had struck another vehicle. >> Hello. What's going on? >> What? >> Okay, go ahead and uh shut off the vehicle for me real quick. All right. What's going on here? Looks like you had a little bit of an accident. What's your name? >> Erica. >> Erica. Okay. I'm Officer Jordan Police Department. Um, any reason why you're sitting out here like this? It looks like you crashed into the truck here. >> No, I did not crash into the truck. >> Okay. Do you live here? >> Yeah. >> Crashed into it? Do you not remember crashing into the car? It looks like you made contact with this truck that's sitting right here. No. >> Okay. I'm going to have you do is I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle for me. Okay. Please. Thank you. Okay. >> Where you coming from tonight? >> Um, I was in Maches Park. >> You're in Maches Park. Okay. What were you doing out in Maches Park? >> Getting covering Park. Okay. You You're telling me you don't remember crashing into [music] this this truck right here? >> Crash into here. Go ahead. Step over here. I'm going to show you what's going on over here. Okay. Made contact with the truck here. Do you know whose truck this is? >> Yes. >> Go ahead and follow me. Go and step back to the back of your car here. The officers asked the suspect, Erica, to explain exactly where she had come from. However, she couldn't give them a clear answer. They noticed her confusion and impairment, so they asked her directly whether she had consumed alcohol. >> Have you had anything to drink tonight? >> I've had a car bliss. >> Had a car bliss. Okay. How long ago was that? >> An hour. >> It was an hour ago. Where'd you have a car bliss at? >> Uh the nest. >> At the nest. Okay. >> Maybe 2 hours. So, I'm I'm again just trying to figure out we got a call that there's an accident out here. What I mean >> clearly >> clearly ran into the truck. Okay. There's damage. I I'm not 100% sure who the caller was, but there's damage to that truck. >> Do you know that for sure? >> Was that that there's damage to the truck? I can walk over there and look at it and see that there's And there somebody said that there was somebody the caller said that somebody made contact with that truck. A gray jeep gray Jeep made contact with the truck. Heaven forbid in my Holy >> People. >> It's new people. >> This is like new people. >> Okay, ma'am. Said you had a car bliss that was 2 hours ago. >> What do you guys want? I'm in my driveway. >> Okay. I again to your driveway. >> What rhetorical questions are you looking for? I moved from Texas. I'm here humbly looking for a job. >> Just how'd you get here? >> I have a son. The officers didn't believe her explanation about how much alcohol she had consumed that night. So before long, they began asking additional questions about her drinking. >> And what do you figure you had about 20 alcoholic drinks tonight? >> 20? >> Yes, ma'am. Did you have about 20 alcoholic drinks? >> That seems so rude. >> Why? >> 20 alcoholic drinks? >> No, I wouldn't. I couldn't even >> You could You couldn't handle You couldn't handle 20 alcoholic drinks? No, I'm not even a drinker if I tried. >> Did you have How much did you have to drink from that? >> Few carbolus. >> A few what? >> Carbless. >> Explain to me what carballets is cuz I don't >> It's like a 100 calorie. I'm very health consscious. >> Okay. >> I'm [music] a very uh >> How much alcohol does it have in it? >> Uh 5%. >> 5%. >> Maybe less. >> Okay. >> I'm a very health consscious person. I don't drink calories just to consume them. >> Understand? And I'm new around town and I >> Oh, okay. All right. So, you're new around here and that's why you you don't drink. >> No, >> it's my lifestyle. I don't just drink like people do here. That was my point. I don't play slots and drink like it's a habit of my like fune of life. >> All right. >> My life is healthy and I like to work out [music] and not drink empty carbs. She spoke about morals and a lifestyle that didn't quite match the condition she was in. Since the officers noticed her [music] slurred speech, one of them decided to challenge her with a simple verbal exercise. >> All right. You know the alphabet. >> Alphabet? >> Yeah. Do you know the >> Maybe? Yeah. You want me to do it? >> Well, hold on. I'm going to have a specific way for you to do it. >> Your your tag is inside out. >> Is it? It doesn't surprise me. >> So, I want you to start with the letter D and go to the letter Q. Can you do that? >> And make sure it's >> G. H I J K L M N M N O P T Y Z. >> Okay. >> The officers determined that she was under the influence. They also knew she had driven there because she had admitted it herself, [music] which means she would get a DUI charge. That said, there was only one thing left for them to do. >> Okay, I want you to turn around, face the car. >> Go ahead and keep your hands out of your pockets for me. Thank you. >> Do you have anything that's going to hurt me, hun? I know that he asked you, but I'm going to ask you again. Okay. >> Okay. Are you wearing a bra right now? >> Yeah. >> I'm going to go underneath. Okay. Is this like Do you have a shirt on underneath this or is this your shirt? >> This is my shirt. >> This is your shirt. Okay. Going to go like this. Make sure that there's nothing in there. Okay. [snorts] >> Keep your hands behind your back for me. >> No, I can't feel anything. [laughter] Okay. I'm going to double lock it so it doesn't cinch up on you. Okay. Unl >> so I can't talk to [snorts] anybody. I'm inside. We're going to get >> We're going to get your phone. Where's your phone at? >> Give me just a second. I'm trying to do this. Please don't move your hands. >> Despite complaining and playing the victim, Erica was eventually taken to the police station for [music] further questioning. She was charged with driving under the influence. On April 25th, 2023, [music] officers in Orlando, Florida, responded to a report of a reckless driver swerving down the highway with a heavily damaged car. By the time the cops caught up with the vehicle, they saw it had a flat tire and was only moving on its front rim. The officer immediately pulled the vehicle over. >> Dude, you got to get off the road. You can't keep driving on a flat tire. >> I'm trying to get behind you on the left side. Yeah. >> Okay. Now, you're trying to go around this way. I got to get you safely over there so we can get you off the road and get you some help. Okay. >> Let me stop. Let me stop traffic in the right lane so I can get you over there. Okay. >> Over that way. >> The officer stopped the traffic in the right lane so the driver could safely get out of his vehicle. However, the man didn't seem to understand him, which is probably why he made yet another foolish move on the road. >> All the way over. All the way over. Onto the shoulder. You got to get on the shoulder. You can't keep driving on that rim. >> You got to get off to the shoulder. You can't keep driving on that rim. You're just doing more damage and you're slowing traffic down. >> On the right shoulder. >> 550. >> The driver of the car with a flat tire suddenly took off. The officer radioed his colleagues and immediately went after the car. A short while later, he caught up with it down the road where his fellow officers had managed to pull it over. Stop your vehicle. >> Did you vomit on yourself? >> No, sir. >> Come over here. >> Get that. >> Well, it looks like you urinated. >> That's incorrect. >> What's that? Why is your crotch region wet? >> It's not. >> Yes, it is. >> That's Look, it's in That's not a wet crotch region, sir. So, what am I seeing here? You're not seeing anything. That doesn't make any sense. What happened to your car? Why don't you have a tire? >> I do have a tire. I'm trying to get home with it with my tire. No, what I'm telling you is the front of your vehicle does not have a tire on it. Were you unaware that the front of your vehicle does not have a tire? >> I'm getting home on the tire that my vehicle has. There's a tire under. >> That's not it. >> What do you mean that's not it? >> I'm going to get home >> on this on your rim. >> Yes, sir. >> You're going to drive on the highway on your rim? >> I'm currently doing so. It seemed the suspect thought it was completely appropriate and safe to drive with a flat tire on the highway. But soon the officer noticed that the driver had not only put himself at risk, he also had a passenger. >> Who's that with you in the car? >> Getting home. >> Who is that in the car with you? >> It's a gentleman getting home with me. A what? >> A gentleman getting home with me. >> A gentleman. It's my son getting home with me. >> How old is your son? >> He's 10. Okay. So, why are you putting your son's life in jeopardy? >> He's not in jeopardy cuz we're both getting home. >> Not well. You're driving on the highway without a tire. That's not safe. >> We have four tires. >> I just showed you a picture of your vehicle without one tire. >> I don't agree with you. >> Come over here. Come on. >> Right over here. >> That's not safe. Oh, so you don't want to take a look at it >> to get that close to the road and you know >> you forced me to get over I forced you >> because you were pulling into the road >> because I grabbed your shoulders. I put you into the road. You're saying I put you into the road. >> You did because you tried to drive off. That's what happened. I pulled up. >> I'm I'm mistaken. With a lot of effort, the officers learned that the suspect was coming from his house in Princeton. But when he had to explain where he was headed, the suspect struggled again. Seconds later, his son got out of the car, completely devastated by what he saw. >> Well, I'm currently heading east. Where? What's the destination? >> I'm heading east to pick up my son. >> Is that your son? >> No, sir. A different son. >> Hey buddy, can you stay in the car? >> I love him. Okay. >> What you want? >> Awesome. >> Sir, you tell me what to say to my son. >> Everything's all right. >> Okay. >> You're okay. >> Okay. You all right? You're physically okay? >> No, I'm good. Sir, how dare you grab my >> I'm What is happening? >> Do you have an explanation? No, you're going to me. >> Don't worry. It was a heartbreaking scene for a child seeing his father handcuffed, but his dad brought it upon himself. After taking the suspect into custody, the officers tried to lead him to the squad car. He however refused to comply and threw a tantrum. >> No, drag me. No, you have to drag me. >> What am I doing? >> Drag me over on your butt. >> Roll over on your butt. >> You have to tell me what I'm doing wrong. >> Roll over on your butt, bud. Am I doing anything wrong? >> Sit up. >> Am I doing anything wrong? >> Yep. >> You're not a pig. >> Stand up. >> Oh, prove to me that I'm not a scoundrel. Well, how am I not a scoundrel, sir? You're putting me in your car because I'm doing what wrong? What am I doing wrong? >> You going to sit up or no? >> I'm doing what wrong, sir? >> You're going to go in the back of the car. Are you going to do it on your own or are we going to put you in there? >> What are my rights? >> Your option. What are my rights? >> What are my rights? >> You're under arrest. >> What are my rights? My rights are >> You have two options. Get in the car on your own or have us put you in there. Which one do you take? >> Very simple. We can very easily put you in the backseat of the car. We would hope that you would put yourself in the backseat of the car. Those are your two options. What are you going to do, sir? >> What are my rights? >> You have two options. >> What are my ch the backseat of the car? Sir, I'm not going to grab your legs. You're not going to go in the backseat of the car. >> My rights are what? My rights are what? What are my rights? >> With combined efforts, the police managed to force the suspect into the patrol car while he repeatedly demanded his rights. Meanwhile, the child was waiting in the vehicle. The boy was extremely distressed and the officer spoke with him to calm him down. >> Where is he? >> He's He's in the police car, so he's safe. Okay. So, he's not on the side of the road. It's dangerous to be out here on the side of the road. >> He's not He's not They're not doing everything they can to get hurt. Okay. >> Hey buddy, let me ask you a question. Who is that to you? >> He's your dad. >> Is your dad? >> Do you have any contact to your mom? >> Yes. >> Do you mind if I call your mom? >> Do you know your mom's phone number here? What's your mom's phone number? >> You can call her? >> He doesn't live with my mom. >> Huh? >> She doesn't live. I just >> Okay. I got to talk to your mom. >> Please. Okay. [crying] >> It's okay. >> It's okay. >> Meanwhile, the suspect was sitting in the patrol car demanding that his rights be read. He acted as if he didn't understand what he had done wrong or why he was being detained. And since the cops didn't satisfy his demands, it irritated him. So, he escalated the situation further. Sir, I demand my Miranda rights. Tell me my Miranda rights, Sergeant R. Greg, for I refuse. >> You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand that? Anything anything you say against you in court, >> Sergeant Greg, you have the same shots. >> Good to go. >> Greg is noting me. He is aggressing me back. Put your hands behind your back. >> You should be able to uncuff him and get his hand against the wall. Sergeant Greg is not mirandizing me. >> Sir, stop resisting. Cooperate. >> I'm not resisting. You're failing to aggress me. I'm asking you to mirandise me and you're shoving me against the wall. >> I was doing that. >> You I mean like I asked him to do it and he and you both get to decide the way this is going to go. >> You're under arrest for DUI. >> For what? >> Not suspicion of DUI. DUI. There's probable cause to arrest you for DUI. That's why you're in custody. >> Under what? Like, can you explain it to me? >> 3161 193 sub1 also child neglect and resisting without none of >> that makes any sense to me. >> That's okay. It doesn't have to. >> I mean, he refused to merangize me. >> You'll be able to get a lawyer after this is done. >> I don't think that's the case. I'm for >> I think you're all pigs. >> The officers had completely run out of patience with the uncooperative suspect. While he was throwing insults incessantly, the cops restrained him with a hobble. And of course, he wasn't happy about that either and became hostile once again. >> You know, you don't have to pick me up like a dead body. You're going to pigs. Prove your pigs. Be pigs. Thanks. Yeah. This is what pigs do. I mean, if you weren't pigs, you would do it differently. Do you have an explanation for why you're not pigs? Of course not. Why aren't you not pigs? >> Because you have force over me. >> A little bit tighter. >> Yeah. >> No, cuz we're now we'll put him in. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. He was before. I don't try on this side. I'll go around. >> All right. All right. >> Cool. >> All right. You got your camera in your car, right? >> Yep. Let's turn him on his side. >> All right. >> Going that way. >> Yep. >> This hurts. I'm being abused. >> You don't care. You're >> going on. >> None of you cares. You're stink. >> You're okay. >> Eat your pigs. >> Okay. You're entitled to your opinion. >> Well, my opinion is correct. >> Okay. You die wrong. >> All right. I'll take him to jail. The child's mother arrived on the scene shortly after and took [music] custody of her son. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed multiple empty beer cans near the driver's seat. The suspect was tested for intoxication and provided two breath samples, registering 187 and80. He was transported to jail and charged with driving under the influence while accompanied by a minor, child neglect, and resisting an officer without violence. On August 22nd, 2025, [music] police responded to a traffic incident. A vehicle had slammed into the side of an unmarked police car with an officer sitting inside. Minutes earlier, the same driver had been noticed by police stumbling around and struggling to find his car in [music] a parking lot. Seconds after the collision, the officer confronted the driver outside the local Mark [music] store. >> I apologize to you. Are you good to drive? >> Pardon me. >> Are you good to drive? >> Yeah. Well, I live one block away from here. >> Okay. Well, you're stumbling around and you can't find your car. >> You know, I live The thing of it is my sister's disabled. I have to go and take care of her. >> Okay. >> Sir, I apologize. >> You have a license? >> Yes, I do. >> You got it on you? You've been drinking today? >> No, I haven't. Sure. Give me a break. Well, I I don't want you to hurt yourself. >> Well, I live one block away from you, >> dude. I I don't want you to hurt yourself. >> No. Will you give me a break? >> Let me see your driver's license. Let me see your driver's license. >> God bless you. Give me one break. [music] Can God give me a break? >> And you weren't drinking today? >> No. >> The officer asked the driver about his driving record. The man confidently replied that his last traffic violation had been 16 [music] years ago. However, the officer just can't take his word for it. Soon, the officer wanted to know why the man had come to this place. >> Well, what did you have to get at Marks? >> Uh uh uh food for my brother. He was captain. >> Yeah. So, explain why you're stumbling around and you you can't find your car and you and you smack my car. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. And are you supposed to be driving afterwards? >> No, you got 1 hour before you drive. And when did you take him? >> About 30 minutes ago. >> 30 minutes ago. >> Yeah. >> And then you're not supposed to drive an hour after. >> Yeah. I Sir, I live one. Would you give me a break? >> Uh I What? What's your You ever had a DUI or anything? >> Yeah, I had uh three of them. >> You have three of them, >> but that was 16 years ago. >> That was the last one. 16 years ago. >> Okay. Uh can you do me a favor? Can you take off your glasses? >> Are you going to give me a DUI? I don't want to give you a DUI, but I'm going to check to make sure you're okay so you can maybe >> Well, this guy is a lady. >> The officer tried to determine whether the driver was fit to operate a vehicle. He attempted to conduct a field sobriety exercise. However, he soon suspended the test [music] because of the suspect's behavior. >> You're not even like watching my pen >> and I have a lazy eye. >> Can Can I be honest with you? Are you going to be honest with me? >> Yes. >> You smell like booze. >> Well, yeah. Are you out there to say? >> So now what? >> Will you give me a break? I literally I asked you I asked you what you were doing and you lied to me. >> No, I'm not lying to you. >> Well, I can give you a break once in a while. >> I smell I smell booze on you. >> I can't live like this. I have take care of a sister. >> I'm asking you a question and you're completely going around it. >> No, I have a sister that's >> I'm not I'm not asking about your sister. >> All right. >> Go ahead. >> What am I asking you though, >> Robert? I'm drunk. >> No, that's not what I asked you. >> Okay. I told you that I can smell booze on your breath. >> Well, I had one beer. >> Okay, now we're having one. >> There you go. >> You lying to me. >> That's it. >> You were lying to me. >> No. No. No. >> Up to that point, the suspect had tried to justify his condition by talking about his disabled sister and his brother who suffered from dementia. After admitting that he had in fact consumed a beer, he came up with a third and completely different excuse. >> Say something. It was my friend's birthday. I had one beer with him today >> over on um >> Okay. What time was that? >> That was about an hour ago. >> Okay. And then what kind of beer did you have with him? >> One Budweiser. That's it. >> One Budweiser. >> That's it. Okay. >> And I haven't drank for 16 years. >> What? >> Put your keys on top of your car. Put your wallet back in your pocket. >> You going to go to You're going to take me in jail, don't you? >> I don't want to take you to jail, but I got to make sure that you are decent enough to drive. >> I live two blocks away from >> I understand that. I heard what you said. >> Okay. Put your wallet in your pocket. >> Oh, okay. >> I live two blocks away from her, sir. >> I heard what you said. >> Can you give me a break? >> Can you stand off your car? Stop leaning on it. Okay. Stand with your feet together. >> I can walk. >> Put your head on top of your car, >> your hat. >> The officer was trying to give the man a chance. [music] However, he wasn't following instructions and the officer was slowly running out of patience. Seconds later, the man refused another command and that didn't end well for him. >> Face that way all the way up to 30 or I instruct you to stop. Yeah. >> Are you serious? >> I am serious. So, hold on. I can't do this. I I You have to understand, sir. I can't I have no liberation. >> You have no what? >> I'm I'm 75 years old. >> Okay. >> I can't do this. >> Okay. Do me a favor. Put your hands behind your back for me. >> Oh, you're going to >> I am going to take you to jail. You're being placed under arrest for OBI. Okay. Operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. >> Because I touched you. >> Oh. Oh. You could touch your car. >> Well, there's more than that. >> What is it? >> I mean, that didn't help. >> I live two blocks. >> You're stumb. First of all, you forgot where you parked. >> You're stumbling around. Stop. Stop. >> You don't know where you parked here. >> Actually, I do. You're stumbling around. >> All right. >> You lied to me about drinking and I I know you've been drinking. >> No, I had one beer. That's it. I'm not used to >> Let go of your finger. >> I am not used to drinking. >> Let go of your finger. The intoxicated driver made ridiculous [music] attempts to play the victim. But after a while, he went even further. As the officer was escorting him to the patrol car, the suspect seemingly brought up the idea of a bribe. >> Are you a rookie? >> Do I look like a rookie? >> Yeah. >> I've been doing this for 16 years, brother. That's why I have no money. I have no >> I'm not looking for money. Um, >> you know what school costs me now? >> That's your problem, brother. I'm not the worst. >> Can you give me a break? No. >> Oh, damn it. I stopped to get my brother something to eat and my sister something to eat and I'm I'm dead. >> Well, you shouldn't be drinking and driving. That's >> No, I'm two miles two blocks away from home. >> So, that makes it okay? >> Yeah, it does. >> It does. I've never heard of that. >> Yeah, it does. I've never heard of that in my entire career. >> First of all, you don't want to you don't want you don't you don't want to help me. >> Why do I have to help you? >> No, you don't. Why you let me go? You wouldn't let me go. >> I don't have anything on me. >> I'm supposed to help you out cuz you decided to drink and drive. My responsibility. >> I came one I touched your car. That's it. That's all I did was touch your car. >> Should you be touching my car? No, but >> Well, you touched the wrong car. >> That sucks for you today. >> You lucked out. >> All right. Okay. >> After loading the suspect into the car, the officer transported him to the police station. But being in handcuffs didn't make the detainee any humbler because before long, he tried to convince the officer not to do his job and simply look the other way. >> Can I ask you a question? >> Yeah, bro. >> Can you not give me a DUI? The one thing you can't give me? Let's see. Let's see what >> Could you do me a favor? >> I'm going to try. >> All right. Anything but a DUI. I have to I buy you guys coffee because you deserve it. >> I buy you guys coffee. >> You do? >> Yeah. Always. Well, you're in line in front of me. I buy you guys coffee. I got my sister in front of me. Still going to nursing home. Can we >> a nurse call for 270? She's got cancer. She's on oxygen. >> Okay. >> They depend on you. >> I understand that, but can we >> There's no way to take care of >> Can we just go through this and then once we're done with all the >> Can you give anybody DUI? >> I can't but not DUI. >> Okay. >> The officer wasn't going to grant the suspect's request. Even with his soba stories, [music] he still ended up getting charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. On April 13th, 2023, officers in Tampa, Florida, responded to a call about a vehicle that was weaving and driving in the center lane. The patrol car soon caught up with the vehicle and the officers pulled it over and contacted the driver. >> Hi, good morning. My name's Al Wilson with Tan Police Department. Is everything okay? Yeah, I was just going back into the reservoir to get my >> Okay. Hey, the reason you have your license with you? >> Yes. >> Let me grab that from you. >> So, you're going back in the reservoir to get your ID, but you have your license in your hand? >> Yes. I mean, I'm sorry, my um debit card. >> Okay. Basically, the reason stop you when you're coming down 22nd Street. you were weaving, made a big right-hand turn on uh 7th Avenue from 21st and you rode the whole way down right down the middle of the road. >> So, what's going on with that? >> I'm sorry. I was just focused on getting back to >> All right, Patricia, do me a favor. Step out and talk to me for a second, please. >> Patricia stepped out of the car. She told officer Wilson that she had visited Coyote Ugly and McDonald's. However, realizing that she was missing her credit card had made her turn back. Her story sounded believable. But while listening to her, the officer noticed another major issue. >> Okay. So, Patricia, when you're talking, I can smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage. How many alcoholic beverages have you had this even? >> Um, I have no more than two. >> No more than two. >> Yes. >> Are for you personally, are you wine? Are you mixed drink? Are you beer? What do you enjoy? What did you enjoy the most? >> So, I definitely I did have some wine, >> but I mean I've I've had food. Like I definitely don't feel intoxicated. Like I don't >> I am very sorry. Like >> that's okay. I understand that. >> I just want you to know like I'm a I'm a good person. Like >> please. I'm not questioning whether you're a good person or not. Please. If I if I gave off that vibe, that wasn't at all what I was trying to do. The officer was kind enough to listen to her in detail and ask her questions. She shared that she was seeing a doctor for depression and anxiety. Then she remembered yet another issue that she claimed was affecting her physically. >> Let's say a parking lot. >> So I actually I I can literally show you my glasses. My glasses broke tonight. Like I >> I have >> I've been wearing one lens because my glasses fell out in reservoir and I've been wearing one lens. >> Let me ask you this, Patricia. Do you have any issues? Let's say parking your car at a grocery store, walking in going grocery shopping. >> I don't have my glasses on. Yes, I do. And I'm not going to lie to you, like I I had one lens in while I was driving because my lens fell out while I was in every Like I literally have it in my backpack. Like I can show you. So, do you have an issue walking in a straight line or anything like that? >> Um, I mean, personally, without my glasses on, I don't know. >> After everything he heard, Officer Wilson decided to check Patricia's level of impairment and determine whether she was capable of driving in her condition. He began a field sobriety test in which she had to follow a pen with her eyes without moving her head. >> All right. Do you see the tip of the pen? Yes. >> What color is the tip of the pen? >> Red. >> Okay. Okay. Like I said, follow with your eyes. Only your eyes. Do not move your head. You >> understand? >> Yes. After finishing the first exercise, the officer asked Patricia if she was willing to perform additional field sobriety tests. She wasn't happy about that. However, the smell of alcohol on her breath required the officer to continue his evaluation. At that point, she made her first attempt to gain his sympathy. Can I just be like a thousand% honest with you? If you like I own my own business like >> I'm trying to be a mother within the next couple months. >> If you think I'm impaired like >> Are you pregnant? >> I am trying. >> But you're not you're not currently pregnant. >> It's been a very hard struggle. >> I mean I have I have a child too and I also have a business on the side. So, and I do this. >> If you think that >> I don't like my life, if you think that, can I say this? >> I don't think I'm impaired like that. >> I'm trying to give you the opportunity to dispel my concerns. >> I think I can dispel your concerns, but >> So, would you like to participate in the field sobriety exercises? >> I'm sorry. >> I feel like this is a trick. You know, I'm going to demonstrate everything. I'm going to explain everything. Me telling you, I'm going to demonstrate and explain is on camera. It's not a trick, okay? It's standard exercises that we do all the way across the United States. Are you okay with that? >> I'm okay with that. >> Okay. This is not necessarily the most conducive area. So, what I would like to do is drive you right to that parking lot right over there. It's away from the crowd and it's away from everything. >> Okay. Now, if you're okay with that, you're not under arrest, but I'm just going to have you sit in the back of the car. We drive right over there, and then I open up the door. We get out, we do the exercise. >> Officer Wilson was patient and persuasive enough to keep the process moving. She got into the patrol car, and the officer drove her to a nearby parking lot. There, he conducted the next sobriety exercises. >> Okay, Patricia, if you have no questions and you feel you understand, please begin. All right, >> let's raise it up 6 in. >> 1,003 1,004 >> Point your toe like I was saying. >> 100,00679 >> Look at your toe. 101234,56 2017 1,890. >> Okay. >> 21. >> Come on over. Let's put your shoes back on. >> Officer Wilson signaled the end of the exercise. Patricia let out a sigh of relief when she heard that she could put her shoes back on, but that was the only thing she would be relieved to know about. >> All right. Based on what I'm seeing, I'm going to place you under arrest for DUI. >> Are you serious? >> Yes. Okay. >> Are you serious? >> Yes. Serious. Serious. I need you to get out of this. >> Patricia, I feel I feel that you're I'm not questioning whether or not you're a good person or not. >> All right. Hang on. Stop me up. >> I just feel that you are impaired to operate a motor vehicle. >> I don't have somebody that can come with me. You feel like that. >> I do feel like >> Don't ruin my life, man. >> Okay, so she's come over here. Let's just step over. >> Please don't ruin my life. I'm not going to ruin your life. >> I'm all big. I'm coming from a family. >> You are. >> So, do you have anything on your persons >> that you have? >> But man, seriously, look at me, dude. >> I am. >> I can't believe I could survive in jail. Are you serious? >> She refused to provide a breath sample. She broke into tears [music] and began complaining about her situation. The officer, however, despite being completely respectful, didn't soften up even with all her whining. As he read her rights, she lost her temper [music] and threw a tantrum. If you you your right to remain silent has nothing to do with taking the approved chemical test for the purpose of determining the alcohol and or drug content in your blood. Also, your right to have an attorney present before questioning before you make any statement and during questioning has nothing to do with the approved chemical test for the purpose of determining its alcohol content and or drugs in your blood. Your right not to answer questions and ask question [screaming] not to do with anything approved [crying] test. Do you want to take the test that I've asked? >> Can you give me a yes or a no? Patricia, do you want to take the test that I've requested? [screaming] >> Okay. Determine your lack of >> I WANT MY ATTORNEY. >> OKAY. >> I want >> Okay. She said no. >> [screaming] >> The officer brought her back to the location where he had originally pulled her over. One of her friends was waiting there and she tried to calm Patricia down. >> Look at me. >> You got to take your hands away from the window. Okay. Just right down here is fine. >> I know. Baby is okay. Look at me. We're going to get you out. We're going to bail you out. >> I will call you back. Okay. It's okay. It's okay. Stop trying to get through this. And I promise you, I have you at the end. I can't put my hands out the window, but I just It's okay. Honey, look at me. I know, baby. I'm coming off. >> Baby, I will. >> Look at me. You're like I'm trying to get everything. It's okay, honey. Honey, it's a learning. I know, baby. I know it's a hard It's a harsh world out here, but you got to learn from this. And we're going to do it, right? >> Can I peek this real quick? >> I got nothing in my hand. >> I can't peek this for you, baby. But I'm not going to bed until you get out. Okay. >> In the end, Patricia was taken to the police station. She refused to submit a breath test and [music] was charged with driving under the influence. She was sentenced to 12 months of probation, which included attending DUI school and a victim impact panel. She was also required to install an ignition interlock device on her vehicle for 6 months and complete 75 hours of community service. In addition, her vehicle was impounded for 10 days. A lot of drunk drivers choose to play the victim [music] despite their risky behavior, but all it takes is one nononsense cough to turn them from self-proclaimed victims into inmates behind bars.
