Did you call? Yes. Um, my husband has video. Um, I just need my daughter's booster back. He says he doesn't have it. We've got neutral restraining orders. The FBI is involved because he cloned our phone service about a month ago because we're separated and then was able to pull all of our information down from the cloud. Were you talking with dispatches now? Yeah. And then also this he's me twice. So, please know that you made contact with him already. Yes. Trying to get our daughter's car seat. And you both have protection orders against each other. Dispatch has been mutual restraining orders, but he canceled our car my car insurance. They got into a car accident. I mean, I just want my daughter's car seat. Okay. That's it. He says he doesn't have it, but that's a problem because restraining orders say don't dispose of anything. So, question. You said he punched you. I didn't said he punched me. He swung on me and like I thankfully I ducked. But I tried to defend myself. So if he's got video of that, he'll probably say that. Did he Did he put hands on you at all? Yes. What happened? So we were I was He opened the door and I said because I took his um I took his door ornament off to get his attention like, "Hey, I just need the car seat. I just want the car seat." He opened the door. I said, "Get off my property." I said, "Just give me her car seat." you know, we were in an accident and he's cuz I heard him laughing on the phone like when he found out that we were my daughter, our daughter and I were t-boned and this was after he canceled our car insurance and I didn't even know about it. So then I stepped into his house. I knocked over a tree cuz he's decorated for Christmas. He swung on me and then I tried I think I tried to like grab his phone out of his hand or swat his phone out of his hand. It's It all went so fast. Okay. So, I just want her car seat. I just want her You said he has guns in the house? Yes. Okay. Is he He's probably He's intoxicated. So, but I Yeah. law enforcement wise, is he going to get along with the police or something? Um, white male, you know. Don't most white males get along with police? Who knows? Unless they're I'm Puerto Rican, so hey. Oh, yeah. But I Yeah, I just want her I just want her booster seat. Okay. No. Well, if you want to hang around here, I got I got another I know. Okay. I know where it is. Oh, you do? Yeah. So, I got to if you want to just hang here, I have a another deputy coming so we can I think he's too drunk or high right now to even do anything and he keeps the guns unless like away. But if you just want to go up there and be like, "Hey, let me let this car pass real quick." I'll just pull forward. You're good there. So, you're okay. Okay. on the way for backup since she says he's intoxicated and has weapons in the house. So 1914 not too far away just for information. Just get just get back in just get back in your car. 39 m's out. They're arguing in the roadway. I'm trying to separate them. Get in the car. I'm in like I'm not on your property. Just Hey, just for now, get in your car. And can you get back in the car and then I'll talk to him. Give me the car seat, youshole. I'll talk to him about that here in a minute. Just Yep. Separate. Separate. If you want to get back in the house, just hang around in the that doorway. Okay. I'll be there to talk to you in a minute. Call your girlfriend. Let's not cause more issues cuz it's going to we're in public. Okay. Just calm down. Get back in the car. We'll talk in a minute and I'll talk to him in a minute. We'll separate things. We'll I won't say in a minute. Just can you please get back in the car? That way we're separated. Roll down the window. Come on. That's going all right. I just want peace. That's what we want. That's what we all want. Yeah. Don't we all want peace? Friend of yours coming up. Yeah. Yeah, we're going to figure things out here in a minute, but I just want you guys separated for now. I don't want you guys separated. We're so separated. Hi. Hello. How are you? Good. How about yourself? So, I came to get my daughter's our daughter's car seat from my husband's house. I live not too far from here. I was on my way home after dinner with a friend of mine and his lawyer told me earlier in the week you could stop by and get her car seat. We were in a car accident. Um, my daughter and I or our daughter and I and the other person that hit us completely demolished my car. He totaled my car with our 9-year-old in the car. And when I called Progressive to file the claim, Mhm. they said that he had canceled our car insurance. Okay, that's a problem. I This is the first time I've seen him since the accident two weeks ago. I just want her car seat so that I can put it in my car so that she has a car seat. He refuses to give it to me. Can you explain a little bit more about the Oh, yes. the punching, the pushing, the grabbing. So, yeah. Yes. So, um I went up to the door. I stood on the first step, not like in in the door, but like on the porch, but you know, whatever. Stood right there and I said, "I just want seat." He didn't open the door. I said, "I just want her car." He's like, "I don't know what you're talking about." I said, "Her booster seat that you've had in your car for 2 years." I don't know. And then I looked at his eyes and he looks to be high or drunk and I'm like, "Oh my god, this is going to be a thing." So I said, "I just want the seat." And he opens the door. He's like, "I don't know what I don't know if I have it. I don't have it. I don't know what you're talking about." And I said, "How do you not know what we're talking what I'm talking about? This is something that you've had in your car for 2 years." And he says, "Kelly, come on, please." And I said, "So I will see you, you know, later in the week, whatever." And he opens the or no. So I take the ornament from his door and I said, "David, if I take this, you're going to want it back, right?" Something. And then he swings. Wait. So he comes outside to pick it up and then he pushes me. I'm trying to remember. He pushes me. I grab his phone and then like trying to swat it out of his hand because he wanted to record, which I guess is fine. I don't care. um swatted out of its hand and then I get into the front door and then he's pushing me and then I swat like Christmas ornaments off of the table that he has and I said I just want her car seat. He's like I'm calling the police. I was like I don't care. I just want her car seat. It's I just want told me you put hands he put hands on you. You put hands on him. Oh yes. So um he swung on me after. So, I can't remember if I swiped those things first and then he swung on me um because it's happened before. He's assaulted me. He swed me twice. Um I remember we were driving once and he punched me in the side of the face. Um it's So, you said you have no no protection order. What is it? You have It's a mutual restraining order. You're like when you get divorced, you have a mutual restraining order. So, you're not supposed to cancel cell phone service or anything like that or insurance. He's done that. He cloned my phone, my phone and our daughter's phone and was able to bring all of our information down from the cloud while our service was turned off because it's under a family share plan. So, he removed me from the family share plan. Then decided to call T-Mobile and say, "Hey, the phones have been stolen." And was able to go into T-Mobile and get two new phones. And then imagine giving your worst enemy your phone unpassword protected for 5 days. That's what he did. And then we got into an accident two weeks ago and I find out that he's canceled cars. Like this is all being dealt with. Let me roll out my window. I just came here to get her car seat. That's all I want. He's going to try and say I did this and I'm just I called you first. I just want her seat and if he doesn't have it. Okay. Well, do you mind having to sit in your car while we have a talk with him? Okay. Before you got here at each other, yell at each other across the street agreement and separation. How you doing, sir? I'm doing good. You doing good? Doing good. Can we come and talk to you? Sorry, my dog. So, go ahead and tell us what happened tonight. Okay. Well, so what happened was ranging my doorbell. I already got Door Dash. I'm like, you know, what the heck is that? So I look outside and it's her. So there we're going through a divorce and she has stay here. She's unhinged. One second. I don't think she's she's she's becoming unhinged. She just left the scene in that vehicle. I'm going to try to locate it. I cut it off because those were the last two ties that I had financially with her. How she charged $6,500 to my credit card that I had to take a loan out to pay that I'm still praying on. How I'm $90,000 in debt because of a lifestyle that she freaking wanted. She is out of control. Yeah, I get Here is my hand. The handprint of her head. That's right now. That was This is where she hit me. That was today, right? You said you got a video. This is the first one. I don't have a booster sheet to give you. No. Okay. Did you just remove my Please put my Please, please leave my property. Why did you reate the property? You me You've hit me thousands of times. She just hit me in my face. No one hit you. Prove it just like the way need to prove. Please leave you here. You forgot this. Please leave here. Do you want it? Good luck. No, you need good luck. I mean, do your voice still live with you? Good luck. Do your children still live with you? Good luck. Because nothing ever happens to him. Okay, but you you called the cops. Nothing ever happens to you. Take off and then you take off. Nothing ever happens to him. Here's what I want to do. Nothing ever happens to him. Nothing. Okay. Nothing. Nobody ever does anything. You do realize I just got here and I'm trying to figure everything out and you leaving the scene and now we got we got everybody looking for you. Oh, I'm I came back. Okay. Where did you go? I went down the street and then I said, "Nope, I probably am needed there because nothing ever happens to him." You need us to step it up. Nothing ever happens to him. Affirm. Okay. Nothing ever happens to him. And I thought, why should I spin my wheels? Wait, wait. You asked me a question. Okay. Okay. This is what I'm going to do. I'm leaving. Nope. No, you're not leaving. Why? because you're being erratic and we're not we're not we're not playing these games. I'm not erratic. You left the scene when we're trying to deal with something because it's not worth my time anymore. Well, it is because we're not we're not here and this is a serious situation. Is it serious? Yes. Because it's it's every single It's called domestic violence. Then you know what? Bring it down here. Bring it down here. But you know what? I have been in this marriage for I'm going to detain you. I'm going to detain you. Why are you detaining me? I'm going because you're at No, no, no. Put your hand behind your back. Why? Put your hands behind your back. I'm going to detain you for what? For now. Until we deal with this whole situation. Why are you detaining me? Because I need you to understand. Get your hands out of your pocket. Put your hands out your pocket. Sorry. I'm sorry. Why are you detaining me? I need you to put your Put your hands back on your back. Okay. But you're not You're holding resisting. I'm not resisting. Put your hands behind your back. Put my hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. I can't. You're holding me. Grab it. Hands behind your back. Can I go to my No, you're staying right here. Okay. Great. And he's hitting. I need you to stop resisting. I'm not resisting. You're pulling away from me. That's the definition of resisting. I'm not resisting. Calm down. I am calm. You're not. You're pulling away from me. Hi, David. Don't pull away from me. Pulling away from me. Yes, you are. I'm not. I'm walking. Are you going to let me cuff you? No, you don't need to cuff. Then that's resisting. Okay. I said you don't need to. I'm going to hold you right here until everybody arrives. Then it's like I need you to put your hands behind your back. My hands are behind my back. Okay. Let me cuff you. Why? So So I can detain you. Why are you detaining? Because you're you're not listening. I am listening. Why are you detaining me if I'm listening to you? Why are you detaining me if I'm listening to you? Hi. Hello. I need it. He's the one that hit me. Why are you detaining me? 39. I got one. Why are you detaining me for now? Why are you detaining me? I wasn't resisting arrest. Pulling away from me? Yeah, I'd say so. I wasn't pulling away from you. Right here. Oh, there you go. Hey, 40. I hear she's the thing. Um, my hair's in my All right, I'm going to back now. Come on. I need to get I don't know anybody's going to go by. Where are you taking me? Right to my cruiser until we clear things out. Are you going to? But I didn't do anything wrong. And that's what we're here to figure out. Taking off the scene, man. Shouldn't have taken off. Got anything on drugs or anything like that? No, I don't have anything on me. What were you reaching for when I was trying to put my phone? Okay, look in the pocket. There's my keys. Oh, wow. Phone. Okay. Yeah. Am I allowed to Okay, have a seat back there. Okay. Why are you Why are you detaining me? So, we can figure things out. Just hang tight. Turn the camera on. Yep. Appreciate it, bro. Come out. Yeah, we miss it. We were right up the road waiting for her car. Thanks a lot, guys. Appreciate it. Anytime about So, he's upset, obviously. Uhhuh. Um, is there a reason why Uhhuh. Why? Give me one second here. Miranda. Yeah. Why? Because you're detained in the backseat of a cruiser. But can anyone tell me why? Hold on a second. Sorry about that. All right, let's continue this conversation. So, she pushed me against the door. Am I going to jail? I don't know yet. I need you to get to my house right away. I am in the back I'm in the backseat of a police vehicle. Handcuffed. No, I need my phone. Sir, you'll get it back. I didn't want this. I understand. I mean, she chose a path that she wanted to choose and we'll go from there. I agree. Step by step. I mean, she got a little physical with me, so Oh, she did? It's fine. Well, now you know what I'm up against. He's the one that came and told me that my neighbors um he's the one that came and told me that she went up and down my block telling my neighbors that I was going to and kidnap their kids. She I just moved into my neighborhood and she went up and down the block telling my neighbors I was going to kidnap the kids. Who does that? Oh, you're not at this point. You're not under arrest. You're just detained right now. Okay. I mean, I have to get home. My daughter's with a babysitter. Like, I just Yeah. Well, uh I I don't even want the car seat at this point. We'll just deal with it in court. Like, you you guys don't have kids. You have kids together, right? Oh, okay. Okay. That's why she said, "Do your kids still live with you?" Yes. Because the day she filed her fake ass CPO, after she found out I bought this house, because she is unhinged, I had to escape with my two children cuz it was the only way to survive. Yes. And she asked her daughter. I was the one that initiated the divorce. Because he's so awful. And I took his ornament off of the front door and I put it on the ground. Um, and I said, "David, I just want her seat." And I knew he Why'd you take Why did you take his ornament off? I took his door ornaments off to get his attention. Like, hey, I just need the car seat. I just want the car seats. Why'd you take Why did you take his ornament off? So I could see his face. Oh, he was he talking through the door? Yes. So I can see his face and he knows and as that makes me uncomfortable. So, I took the ornament off. Yeah. And I put it on the ground and I said, "Hey, okay. I just want to talk to you. I just need her seat." And when we go on Wednesday, she's done for. And that's why she's becoming my nie because she's literally has no money. She doesn't work. And I've learned a lot in this marriage. I'll just say about how calculating people can be. And she is she takes the cake. And now I have to go and apologize to these people for causing this kind of strife. Like who who does this? Well, were you causing a scene or something? Why did you do that? You weren't I was not causing a scene. Just keep in mind that we're we record everything. So I didn't know that. I was not causing a scene. You weren't yelling and screaming or nothing? This is not the place for that. This is a residential neighborhood. Okay. Hello, sir. Sorry to bother you. I was just wondering does your does any of your cameras capture that house at all? About an hour or so. We had an incident across the street footage of that. Um there's a car at 8:32 that stops right about there. Okay. So, it it just picked Well, that's the camera over the garage. Okay. This one. Oh, that's the back door. Sorry. Don't worry. We probably So, you weren't yelling or screaming or nothing? Why? I don't know. It's 8:00 at night. Like, why? It's a residential neighborhood. [Music] She's at the front door. I don't see anything though. Why would you cancel my would you do that? Why would you cancel my Why would you cancel my heart? Why would you do that? You can't David. You me you me. You I paused. Okay, that might be that just that clip. I don't know how I didn't hear all this. Good insulation. We don't come to this neighborhood often. It's very quiet. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't resist arrest. Okay. You weren't pulling away from him or nothing. No, I'm I'm an African-Amean woman in America. Like I know what can happen to me. Well, I mean what I don't know how big of a part that plays. You just should do what the police tell you. And that's what I Any race any race should do that. It's a friend of the family. going to be calling Grandpa Mike. Anyways, he said that she left uh home alone. Is we got to make sure that she's okay. The shared child. No, it's not a shared child. It's her daughter. It's just her daughter. It's her daughter. And there's no other adult that lives there. No, she he did say Margie is going to get her right now, but like how old is the child? He I have no idea where she lives. I do know that Mike did say was home alone. I just want to make sure that she did say March was on the way. Mar's like, uh, and Marge is here. Marge is like, um, I think the name I think I think it is family. It could be a friend, but I I know that I know it could be family as well. Okay. I don't, but I just want to make sure's okay until March gets here is basically all I'm saying. And it just dawned on me as I'm writing this. I was like, wait a second. He just told me that home alone. She's in the back. Like, I want to make sure that Okay. Okay. We'll get it straightened out. Thank you. Hey, George. Yes. That lady over here with the Dodge Ram. Clear video or audio Kelly yelling and a lot of banging and noise. But you was she wearing heels like those high boots. You could hear her pacing, but you couldn't see it. It was like that clippity clop. You could hear her pacing all over the place, but you just couldn't see it. Okay, just hang tight. We'll be back with you. Can we put the other window down? Can I have my phone back, please? Uh, you can have your phone back in just a little bit. You can't have your phone right now cuz we're investigating something. Okay. And you were calling for people to come here. So, for my safety, I want you to go to my house. For all of our safety, I don't want you to have your phone because I called my mom and I asked my dad's friend to go to my house. If I don't We'll be back with you. Okay. Just Just hang tight. Is she talking to you fairly decent, Sarge? A little bit. Um, he just brought to our attention that there may be her 8-year-old daughter that's at home alone with a babysitter. Yeah. With a baby. Okay. Isn't that his kid? Is it his kid? No. Oh, yeah. There's a babysitter with the kid. She said some smells right here. the movie order. You want to get her keys? She's thinking she can lock it right now from here. Yeah, we'll get them cuz the total needed. You want to do that right now? Keys. Where they at? Um, they're in my pocket in your big pocket, right? Over here. Were you like Were you Were you I have another Yeah. So, you thought that I mean when I got into my other pocket, you thought that there was an emergency. I I can hold on to these. Okay. So, my purse is in the front seat. Okay. Keep it in your pocket. Yes, I am. Can you leave this open so I can get some fresh air? I can't breathe. No. Wait, wait, wait, wait. I can't really breathe back here. So, would you mind leaving the door open first? We need to get the car keys. And why do you need the keys? So, we can get in the car. The car's unlocked. Well, we're going to take it out of the jail anyway, so it doesn't matter. It matters to me. It matters to me. So everything that you have on you Mhm. the jail staff's going to take it anyways. That's fine. I'll let the jail staff take it. Right. Or I can just take it now. Cut the medium. The jail stuff is fine. I'm not resisting. I'm just Okay, but your car is getting towed. Why is my car getting towed? Because it's parked the wrong way on the street and you're under arrest. Can you turn it around? No, we're not doing all that. Why? Why am I being I need your car keys. So why do you need my car keys? Step out. Step out. I don't want to step out. Step out of the car. Oh, well, my keys just dropped on the ground. Well, step side two steps that way. I'm also going to make sure you don't have any weapons on me. Why would I have any weapons on me? I don't know, man. Because I don't I don't know you. I'm a suburban mom. That could be a reason. I don't know you. So, can you get my Christmas? I will get all that in a minute. I need some step by step. Have a seat. He's the one that beats on me, but I get arrested. [Applause] What did you say? I was talking about not having money to have my get my car out of Jim's house. Excuse me, sir. Yeah. If someone comes and moves my car, is that okay? We I mean I see people park their cars wrong on streets all the time. If someone moves my car, does that is that all right? We're We're not going to be out here all night doing all that. I understand, but I have a friend that lives 5 minutes away. All right, just hang tight. [Applause] We'll figure it out. Yep. I'm taking her to jail, but she has somebody that's coming to get her car. I already told her that she's going to take a tow that. No, we're not going to do that. So, you see somebody pull up for the car and that's her friend that she called. Sir, I have a friend of mine coming to get my car since you want to tow it. No, it's not. That's not happening. Why is that not happening? Because they already got the tow and everything ready to go. I understand that. But if Where are the keys? Deputy got it. I don't have the keys right now. The deputy? Which deputy? Doesn't matter because it's going it's it's going to the pound. But why is it going to the pound if I have someone coming to get it? Because that's how it goes. Because that's how it goes. Yep. Usually when you arrest somebody and they have a car, they tow the car, right? Um the deputy has it so no one can come get my car. The toe company is Nope. So, officer mind. You'll get you'll get all the information. It's not like you're not going to get it. You're going to know where your car is. I mean, you're just being very snug right now. We're going slow. Yep. We're going slow. We're going slow. Do you feel unsafe right now? Um, I'm an African-Amean woman in America in the backseat of a police car. Yes, I feel unsafe. I asked for the windows and the doors to be open because I couldn't breathe. Um, and was having trouble breathing and no one did anything. Extremely claustrophobic and no one seemed to care. But, you know, you're talking just fine to me. Excuse me. You're talking fine to me. No, it's not fine. No, you're talking fine to me, right? Yes, because I've been in a in an abusive marriage for the last four or five years. So, I'm really good at compartmental. I sir, I'm a black woman in America. I'm a Puerto Rican guy in America.
