This is beard oil, basically. Let's go with him. So just step back there. Step back there. >> That's why your hand's bleeding. Cuz you're >> The high-tech cameras inside of Walmart can catch almost anything from tag switchers to skip scanners. [music] Today, we break down some of the worst Walmart shoplifters ever caught on CCTV as they learn the hard way that there's always someone watching. >> Can you please come [music] with me? Come over here with me. You're being detained for now for shoplifting, okay? >> Oh, please. Please. Please. Please. >> When Officer Rodriguez responded to a Walmart in Las Cruces, Mexico on October 3rd, 2025, he was looking for an alleged shoplifter. The female suspect was caught on camera switching price tags to reduce the amount she'd pay. Officer Rodriguez quickly located her, but the moment he tried to detain her, she panicked. >> Hi, ma'am. Officer Rodriguez, Las Cruces Police Department. Can you please come with me? >> Uh-huh. >> Come over here with me, please. Come over here with me. You're being detained for now for shoplifting, OKAY? >> OH, PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. Please don't do this. Please. Please don't do this. No, don't. Please. Please don't do this. >> Stop. Stop. >> Please don't do this. >> Don't pull away. >> Please don't do this to me, please. >> Don't pull away. Come on. >> Please don't do this to me, please. Please don't do this to me. Please. >> Wait. >> Please. >> Stop. >> Please don't leave. Please don't arrest me. >> The suspect kept pleading with the officer, but she had made a critical error by deciding to run. What could have been a simple citation turned into jail time in an instant. But before Officer Rodriguez could investigate more about why she ran, he needed to see what she had done at Walmart. >> Please don't arrest me. Are you going to arrest me? >> Yeah. >> What? Please, no. Please. Please don't. Please. >> Let's get you up. >> Please. Please don't arrest me, please. Can you please not arrest me? >> No, please not. >> Please. No, please don't arrest me. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please don't arrest me. >> Do you have any weapons on you? I need to get that. >> No. >> Take off your glasses, okay? >> Please don't arrest me, please. >> Do you have anything? >> No, but please don't arrest me, please. Can you please not arrest me, please? Please don't arrest me, please. Please. No, please don't arrest me, please. Please. >> I don't know what to >> I was like, I didn't know it was mine. I thought it was hers. I was like I was like I was like I was like >> She has a blade. >> Resisting. >> No, I was going to give you a citation. >> After securing the suspect in the squad car, the officer headed to the theft prevention office. While the agent gathered evidence, Rodriguez decided to collect her belongings and see if she could provide her identification. >> Okay, I have your social security card. >> Please, can you please not arrest >> We'll talk. We'll talk. >> Please don't arrest me, please. Sir, please. Please, can you not arrest me, please? >> talk. >> Please. Please. >> What is your name, ma'am? >> Zoe Boyd. >> What is it? >> Zoe Boyd. >> Can you spell it for me? >> Z O E B O Y D >> Hold up. Go get more time. >> B O Y D >> Date of birth? >> Uh 1990 >> You said 1990? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Uh-huh. >> You know what your name >> I don't. >> Do you have a New Mexico driver's license? >> No. >> I don't Where are you from? >> Uh I'm from Texas. >> Texas? >> Can you please not arrest me, please? >> We'll we'll see right now. >> Please. >> All right. So, look, you were being detained right now due to them seeing you on cameras transferring labels, right? Which is considered shoplifting. >> Okay. Can you please not arrest me? I'm sorry. >> Look, I'm going to be honest with you. We're past that point. If you would have been cool with me, I would I was going to take you to the office without handcuffs and talk. >> Please. Please. Please. Please. >> care how many times you say please. The answer is no. >> Please, sir. Please. >> So, I'm going to run your name. Is that your correct name? >> Yes. >> Out of Texas? >> Uh-huh. >> Okay. >> Officer Rodriguez warned the suspect that she'd be facing another charge if she lied about her identity, but she repeatedly claimed her name was Zoe Boyd. While the dispatcher ran her information, the officer explained to his colleagues what happened. >> Yeah, at the entrance she took off and then she kept pulling them like trying to grab them like she's going to run off. Hey, also, what's your real last name? >> I'm Boyd. >> Boyd? Do you have a second last name? >> Uh >> Do you have a second last name? >> Uh-uh. >> No? Okay. Um so, you're not coming back on file at all. So, it's Zoe, Z O E >> Yes. Boyd. >> And then Boyd, B O Y D. >> Yes. >> Can you make out of Louisiana? >> Yes. >> Look at this here for me. Look up. Don't move your head, okay? >> No. >> I need to take a photo so I can identify you. All right, the fire department is here. They're going to check on your vitals, okay? We're still going to end up You just stay in there. They'll check them in there. We are going to go to the hospital anyways, okay? After. >> Since her name wasn't coming up, Officer Rodriguez took her photo to see if they could find a match. The woman mentioned being diabetic and needing an insulin shot, but fire and rescue was already in route. The officer also assured her she would be taken to a hospital because he had used force during the arrest. >> Other than diabetes, ma'am, what else do you have? Like medically. >> Nothing. I swallowed some pills before earlier. >> What did you swallow? >> I don't know. I just grabbed some pills and I swallowed them. I was just waiting for them to kick in. >> Are you type 1 or type 2? >> Type 1. >> Are you supposed to take any other kind of medications other than your insulin? >> No. Well, um I'm supposed to take my psych medicine. But I don't take them. >> Okay. Take it off. >> Um So, it's going to be 21.36 for the stuff that she took. >> 21.36, okay. Got you. All right, bro. Um she took >> She took switch under So, the shoes that she took switch, it's 9.98. And then the shirt it's going to be $2.98, like 11 bucks around there. >> Okay. >> So. >> Okay. >> It's all stuff she took from the store. >> Okay. So, the stuff she switched >> Uh two items, so a pair of shoes and a shirt. >> Okay. >> After getting all the information from the loss prevention agent, Officer Rodriguez reported to his supervisor. At that point, the biggest issue was her identity. After being pressed by the officers repeatedly, the woman eventually told the truth. >> Uh we know you're not. So, what's your real name? >> Okay. >> Crystal Methbos. >> She said her name's Crystal. >> Yeah, cuz we asked her for her name and she was like, "We're not talking." >> Okay. So, you told us you're getting charged with concealing lost or >> All right. So, now you're getting charged with concealing. >> Concealing what do you mean by that? >> Yeah, cuz you were concealing your identity. You weren't telling us who you were. Step up. Are you injured anywhere? >> Yes, my head, my eye, and my shoulder. >> Sorry. >> And you got a bunch of warrants. >> From where? >> Oh, all kinds of them. >> Like where? >> For drugs and stuff. Do you have any drugs on you right now? I'm going to tell you if you have stuff on you right now, now's the time to to tell us. I'm I'm just giving I'm not saying you do or you don't. I'm just giving you some advice that before you get to the jail, it's better to to have them tell us here. That way it it lowers it down a little bit, right? If you go into the jail and they find them on you there, it's bad news, okay? >> She had six blues on her. >> What? Six blues? >> In the purse. >> I already have them. >> Is that a felony? >> The blues? >> Yes. >> Uh it might be personal use. >> Officer Rodriguez mentioned he found six blues on the suspect. Blues is usually a slang term for counterfeit prescription oxycodone. It was yet to be determined if it would constitute another charge. >> Can you text Quinn and say I'm arrested? >> I can call him if you want. >> please call him? >> Sexy Quinn? >> Yes. >> Hello. Hey, this is a Sergeant Allen with the Las Cruces Police Department. Uh so, I'm here with uh what was her name again? >> Uh Zoe, he knows me by Zoe. >> Zoe, and she's getting arrested. She just wanted you to know. Okay, have a good day. I don't know why it wouldn't go to speaker, but whatever. Tell him to turn it off. >> warrants do I have? >> Two. >> I have a warrant? >> Uh one out of Daso for failure to appear on a DWI, and then you have a one out of El Paso for drugs. >> And what are you all charging me with? >> Uh right now you're getting charged with shoplifting, concealing identity, uh resisting, uh two warrants, and then depending on Metro Narcotics as about your cigarette blues. >> In addition to the old warrants and the three new charges, Crystal Maribose was also trespassed from Walmart. She was transported to the hospital where she was treated for injuries and then taken to jail. Not all shoplifting arrests begin with someone watching a monitor. On February 25th, 2025, a worker at a Des Moines, Iowa Walmart directly saw a customer acting suspiciously. The moment he approached, he got physically assaulted. Lucky for him, an officer had heard the commotion near the self checkout and moved in fast. >> Hey, you're you're under arrest. Stop. You're under arrest. >> WHO WHAT? >> STOP. >> WHY AM I UNDER ARREST? >> PUT YOUR hands behind your back now. >> Hey, you're stop. >> Put the cuffs on me. I didn't do anything. >> one warrant out of Walmart. >> How am I resisting? How am I resisting? >> You're under arrest. >> How am I resisting? >> Stop. >> I resisting? >> How am I resisting? How am I resisting? Why are you hurting >> You're not hurting me because I paid for all my >> Why are you stopping me because I paid for all my >> Be on your back now. >> you stopping me because I paid for all WHY ARE YOU >> GET on your back. >> WHY ARE YOU WHY ARE YOU WHY ARE YOU HURTING WHY ARE YOU >> STOP. >> PAID FOR ALL MY HOW >> TIME TO STOP. >> How stupid you guys >> Time to stop. >> Stop what? You're hurting me. >> Stop. >> You're hurting my STOP WHAT? YOU'RE TWISTING MY ARM. >> DON'T PULL YOUR ARMS BACK. >> HURTING ME. WHY ARE YOU HURTING >> STOP. >> I'm not doing anything. >> Stop it. >> me. >> The woman couldn't stop yelling. She claims she wasn't doing anything, but she was clearly resisting the officer because he was struggling to handcuff her. She kept pulling away, so the officer had no other options but to wait for backup. >> And she's refusing commands. I can't get her handcuffed. >> Get your hands BEHIND YOUR BACK NOW. STOP. >> OH MY GOD. >> WILL YOU STOP? >> OH MY GOD. >> COME ON. >> I'M [screaming] GOING TO DIE. I'M GOING TO DIE. >> WILL YOU PLEASE STOP? >> WHY ARE YOU HURTING ME? >> You're hurting me. You're attacking the guy. >> I'M NOT ATTACKING ANYBODY. >> Stop it, damn it. >> Why are you hurting me like WHAT IS WRONG WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? >> GIVE ME YOUR OTHER HAND NOW. >> OKAY, WHY ARE YOU >> GIVE ME YOUR HAND. STOP. GIVE ME YOUR DAMN HAND. >> WHAT? STOP WHAT? What the [ __ ] are you doing? STOP WHAT? STOP WHAT? >> STOP RESISTING THE OFFICER. >> STOP WHAT? STOP WHAT? STOP WHAT? >> OKAY, STOP RESISTING. >> I'M NOT A >> STOP IT. PUT YOUR HANDS >> I'M NOT RESISTING. >> GIVE ME YOUR LEFT HAND NOW. He's trying to >> I GOT IT. >> PLEASE HELP ME. I'M NOT RESISTING. I HAVE BEEN THIS WHOLE TIME. Please stop. >> No, we're good. >> I'm not hurting. I'm not doing anything. >> Once the suspect was finally cuffed, the officer explained what prompted the arrest. As he was walking toward the commotion, he observed the woman physically grabbing a store employee who was trying to get away from her. Now that the woman was detained, she still kept yelling and causing a scene. So, the officers took her to the SQUAD CAR. >> READY? STAND UP. >> CAN I GET MY RECEIPT? >> STEP OUT OF THE CAR. YOU STAND UP. >> OKAY, I am. Why are you guys hurting ME? LIKE, I'M NOT RESISTING. LITERALLY. TAYLOR, PLEASE. GET MY KEYS. I paid for all of this. THEY JUST ROBBED ME. They literally were just assaulting ME FOR NO REASON. OW, you guys. Oh my god, I'm going to die. This is crazy. This is crazy. Oh my god, I can't believe they said I was resisting. Oh my god, that is so crazy. What the What the >> Hey, you don't have anything on you that's going to poke her sticker, do you? >> No, why am I getting arrested? You keep saying I was resisting. Why were you lying like that? >> That's funny. >> Huh, what? Funny what? You were hurting me. >> All right. >> What's up? >> This is crazy. Wow, all of the stuff I just bought. That's crazy. I'm getting arrested for buying something? I'm getting arrested for buying something? >> cuz you're attacking somebody. >> Attacking me? He literally attacked me. He put his whole hand on me. >> As the woman was placed in the squad car, the officer reported to a superior. He noted she would get charged with disorderly conduct at the very minimum, but that the employee might want to press assault charges as well. As he was retelling the events, he realized he was missing one magazine from his belt. >> Was there a magazine missing from you? >> 100 bucks. >> Yeah. >> They're going to find it. >> Yeah, they'll they'll just >> All right. So So anyway, so we have she's assaulting somebody inside. >> Yeah. >> You go to arrest her and then what happened? >> Uh she's immediately resisting and then I had to put her on the like there's like a pallet full of like ice melt whatever. I just kind of lean her against her and try to get her cuffed, but uh she's actively pulling back. Eventually took her to the ground thinking that would probably help me, but then that's when Chadwick arrived. So then we got her in the car. >> So we got interference, we got uh assault or disorderly conduct. Okay. >> Hey, just want you to know >> Uh-huh. >> I was just punched five times in the face. >> Yep, that's why we're doing this. >> Okay. That's why I was punching her. I wouldn't have done that hard. >> All right, thank you. We're right here. It just started here in the self-checkout. Did you see a magazine? >> Yeah, Dean picked it up. >> Dean does? All right, then. >> And then I gave him the receipt that he threw on the ground. >> Thank you. >> Hey there, can you break this? >> Maybe. You have the other magazine? >> Yeah. >> And then is this for you or is this for us? What do you mean, like break it? >> Break it. >> No, like pop it for an ice pack. >> Oh. >> So none of this is paid for. >> I don't know. >> No, I just ran for the receipt. >> Oh, none of that is paid for? >> Yes. >> Oh, this top part? >> And then the stuff we got. >> After getting the evidence for the shoplifting charge, the officer also interviewed the victim. The young employee explained he noticed her acting suspiciously at the self-checkout. He asked if she was scanning everything and then asked if he could see the receipt. >> He asked for a receipt. >> And she started hitting you out of nowhere, just grabbing you, hitting you. >> Okay. >> Yeah, we we'll do aggravated theft and depending on if he if he wants to do charges for assault, we can do assault. If not, I'm going to do disorderly conduct and then interference. What's the value of this right here? Okay. So, you do want to press charges? Okay. Are you Are you hurt? Oh, he grabbed your thumb? Yeah, it's red. >> The staff stated that the suspect attempted to steal around $24 in merchandise, and that Walmart wanted to press charges. As the officer stepped out, a woman claiming to be the suspect's sister started interfering with the investigation. >> Thank you. So, we need that information. You said you recorded everything? That sounds like evidence. What's your name? Your name? It's easy to get a warrant for your phone. Get away from the squad car now. Go. Leave now. Sir, step back there. Step back there. Murderer. >> I don't know why you're trying to size her up. She's not a 4'11" sized woman. Like >> Murderer or something? >> Hey, this is private property. You like >> You can leave. >> I don't need to. I'm here for What are you here for? >> My sister. >> No reason. Correct. >> Cuz y'all are murderers. >> No reason. >> Murderers. Can we have your badge number? What's your badge number? I already have everything else on recording. I'm going to take a picture of that, too. Cuz we're Listen, that's This is exactly why we're doing Why have to watch out now because of all this. We were trying to do that because of that. >> Yeah. >> Exactly, cuz he's a You don't You ain't going to fight nobody else. You ain't fighting no man without no badge on. >> In the end, the woman couldn't do anything to help her sister. And even though she couldn't stop talking, she was smart enough to eventually back away. The suspect was transported to Polk County Jail. She was booked and charged with aggravated theft, assault causing bodily injury, and interference with official acts. On November 16th, 2023, an officer responded to a Walmart for a shoplifting incident. By the time he got there, the suspect was already detained and waiting at loss prevention. But before he could ask a single question, the woman had already started making excuses. >> Hey, you're under You have some person charge. >> Hello. >> Hello, it's 2:00 a.m. Female. >> Okay, I actually before you even try to take me down or anything like that. They said I didn't ring all my stuff up, but really I had rung all my stuff up. And even if I even if I don't have to ring all my stuff up, I still have money to pay for this. I That's what I was trying to tell him. And I was about to pay for it. Basically, he was trying to Basically, I mean, >> That's the point of sale, like I said. >> That's how What you What you getting the police officer for and I could pay for my That's what I'm telling you. >> That's what I called that store. I ain't tell you what that store said with so much to ask. That's your mistake. >> I didn't steal nothing, bro. I paid for my I already >> What I'm telling you is what makes sense for them to call the police and I got money right here for snacks, for some little That is >> Well, so let me explain to you how shoplifting works, okay? Um once you pass all points of sale and you make it obvious that you don't plan on buying the items, that's when you commit the crime, okay? It's completely up to the {quote} {unquote} victim in this case, which the victim being Walmart, on whether or not they want to allow you to pay for the items or not and then just be done with it, right? >> I'm That's what I'm telling y'all. You ain't You ain't even listening to >> how you talk. >> Can I pay for my >> I'm sorry. Listen to me. Listen to me. >> The officer tried to reason with the suspect and explain the situation, but she kept interfering. Since it was such a small amount, she hoped that they'd just let her pay. That way, there would be no reason to arrest her. However, despite her pleas, the staff has decided to prosecute. >> Are you going to give me Give me a receipt on what I purchased to pay for this stupid and I got money in my hand. >> Do me a favor, put your hands behind your back, okay? >> What's up? >> Yes. >> For what? >> Put your hands behind your back for shoplifting. >> I paid for that stuff. >> Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. >> Okay, so what about my paid for stuff? What about that? >> Give me this. Give me your Hey. Stay against the wall. [music] Do what I tell you to do or you're going to catch another charge. Do you understand me? >> I didn't steal anything. >> couple deep breaths and calm down. >> stuff. You don't even see how You don't even see how >> Face the wall. Stand right there. >> You don't see the manager. >> Stop. [music] Do what I tell you to do or you will catch another charge. Do you understand me? Calm down. >> But you you you putting me in handcuffs for nothing. You can't even tell me nothing. >> Stop. Stop. Stop. It's time. Good. I'm glad. [music] >> When nothing else worked, the suspect turned on the staff and her story changed. Now, they were suddenly lying, claiming she had paid for all her groceries and that it was all a setup. But, she failed to realize that the theft prevention agents had the whole thing on camera. >> So, you want to take me to jail just for not ringing it up and I paid for something, okay? So, you need to at least tell him I had paid for my groceries before you start lying. >> Hey. You have it on camera? >> Yeah. I just showed you the beginning of that video. >> Yeah, you got it on camera, right? >> Let's just Yes, ma'am. Mhm. Did you see the last part of my tape? >> Customer service, Erica from the market, customer service. >> Stay against the wall. Scoot over. Stay right there. Do not move. >> Hey. Hey. >> She paid for $24 worth of stuff in the store, approximately $50 worth of stuff. >> Okay, but listen. Check this out. On some real talk. Hey. So, okay, you want to take me to jail, right? And I paid for my merchandise, right? And you sitting right here seeing me on camera pay for my stuff. I'm talking to the officer, too. You don't You ain't seen me pay for my stuff? >> What did I just tell you? Stay against the wall. >> Okay, but you missing the part where I >> I'm watching. Stop talking for like 3 minutes and let me watch the video. >> the part where I paid for my stuff. >> Stop talking. We haven't got to that part. >> All right. All right. All right. But, you missing that part. >> All this talking you're doing is not helping your case. >> The suspect was not wrong about paying for items. The problem was that she paid for two items, then put five in the bag. The agents also showed the officer clear footage of the suspect trying to walk out of the store, going past all the points of sale. That made the shoplifting case airtight. >> But, I'm paying for MY STUFF. >> CALM DOWN. >> I'M TELLING YOU. >> DO YOU WANT to catch a disorderly conduct charge, too? Okay, then shut your mouth and sit right there. Stop. >> for it already. No, you did not. Stop. Quit talking. Do yourself a favor. I promise you it's not going to work out well for you in court if you keep running your mouth. I know you Listen to me. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. As I've explained them to you, are you willing to answer any questions without an attorney present? >> Yeah, but what I'm saying is you could >> Okay, then so that's a yes. I can't talk to you unless you give me a yes or no. >> Yeah, but I'm saying why is I'm even going to >> So, check it out. Listen to me. All right, listen listen. Stop speaking and let me talk and answer your questions. Right now, you are under arrest for misdemeanor shoplifting. >> I did not scan them. >> Listen to me. They have you on camera shoving bags of potato chips. Huh? >> I did not. I paid for them. That's what I'm telling you. You didn't see They didn't see You didn't see me on there paying for the stuff? >> No, you were shoving them straight from the buggy into the bag. >> I scanned them. >> You did not scan them. I watched it on camera with my own two eyes. >> What I paid What I'm telling you is I >> So, how much money did you spend? >> I spent 27 something. >> The suspect admitted she paid $27, but the total value of the goods in her cart was close to $50. At that point, the conversation wasn't just about the stolen goods, but about her general attitude. Despite the officer's attempts to calm her down, she kept badgering the staff to change their minds and let her go. >> How? How when I only had 10 bags of chips. Did you even count? >> Listen to me. If you keep screaming, we can't find out what you >> bags of chips. The chips was a dollar. I got all that money right there. You can't let me go for for >> my choice. That's theirs. >> And I And I had paid for stuff. >> If you move all past points of sale without paying >> Can y'all Can y'all talk real quick? >> So, what's fixing to happen is a female is coming. She's going to search you. >> Okay, my money right there. >> Okay. >> You going to take me to jail for $10, basically? And I had 10 bags of Twizzlers. >> They want to press charges. I have to. I don't have a choice. If they want to press charges, they tell me, "I want to press charges." I have to. I can guarantee you they're not going to respond to you when you keep trying to interrupt them and yelling at them, okay? Honestly, I would probably assume the whole reason you're in this situation in general is you have a horrible attitude. And I can tell that right now. I'm That's just my assumption, and I've only been here 5 minutes, but I'm assuming they are so steadfast on pressing charges cuz of how bad your attitude is and how disrespectful >> Listen, but I'm telling you I had 10 bags of Twizzlers, all right? >> Okay, well, assume they're fixing to bring a receipt with everything and then a receipt of stuff that you paid for. And we're going to compare them. And if they don't match, >> [music] >> then you are going to jail. >> The officer was right. With an attitude like hers, the agents would never be convinced to let her off the hook. It didn't take long for the suspect to get into an argument with them because she saw no point in [music] going to jail over such a small amount. >> It says y'all told me >> Listen, listen. Oh, my job is to press charges. I'm making an example cuz I'm warning you. >> You trying to press charges for $38? >> Cuz that's my job. >> You trying to write me up? >> I got a job, and I >> What's the problem, dog? You got a job. You got to press charges on me for $38 and I >> Listen to me. Listen to me. You broke the law. Okay, let me explain to you why I'm following If you got no ID, we call the police. You don't >> I don't have a ID. >> If you got $25 or more, we call the police. You had $38. That's $25. And guess what? If you get aggressive, we call the police. You did all three in one night. Baby, you going to jail. Listen. If they just need a note, I can break the policy and have you go. >> If the money was right there, and I was going >> I can't take your money. I will not take your money. It's a bribe, baby, and I don't do bribes. >> But you saying you can't >> So, listen to me. Listen. Listen to me. Listen to me. I think you need to quit asking them questions as far as why they're pressing charges and Listen, and ask yourself why you didn't spend the $40. You paid for some of it, not all of it. >> I didn't steal it. >> You did. You did not pay for it. >> Unless I would have just walked and ran out. I showed them my receipt and all. >> Okay, you you shoplifted it. How about that? That's the textbook. You shoplifted. Shoplifting and stealing are synonymous. Means the same [music] thing. >> Not long after, a female officer arrived to search the suspect in the privacy of the office. While she was patting her down, she found something in the suspect's pocket. Something that would bring on an additional charge. >> Yeah, she had that too. You could smell it the whole time. >> smell it, but still it's nice to >> So, you're also going to catch a misdemeanor marijuana charge. >> Uh yeah, the car outside. >> So, check it out. When you have property like this that the jail won't take, okay? >> That's what I argue, but cuz you're taking me to jail. >> Okay, well, I'm taking the property room and logging it for safekeeping, okay? You don't have an ID, you don't get your shoes back out of the property room. >> Do you want your money in your pocket or do you want this in the property room? Okay. >> What's your last name? >> What's your last name? >> I'll figure it out at the jail. >> I'd say if if you don't tell me your name, you're going to catch an obstruction charge. Okay, well, you're being charged with obstruction. >> See, that's what we were called. She wanted to do us the same thing. >> Yeah. >> why we was going to let her go. We were going to let her go. >> Well, it's two other wasn't. And you seen me pay for something. Don't act like you didn't lie about it. >> There's no way because I know how you guys camera systems work. You saw her take something or not pay for something or switch a tag or something. It was something. >> The woman was booked on charges of shoplifting, obstruction, and misdemeanor marijuana possession. If she had acted cordially and shown remorse, this might have ended with a refund and a trespass notice. Instead, it ended in an arrest. On January 9th, 2025, a woman finished checking out at a Walmart self-checkout and headed for the exit. She had no idea that store security had been watching her every move and that they saw her skip scanning multiple items. By the time she was detained, the police were already on their way. >> Never attempts to scan. >> Rosa, right now you're under arrest for retail theft, okay? [music] Just so you understand that. I got to read you your rights, recite to you, okay? >> So, am I going to have to go to jail? >> I don't know. >> Am I going to [music] have to go to the precinct? Am I going to have to go with you guys? >> It's a possibility, yeah. >> So, if you watch the next one, she has two receipts. Only one gets scanned, set to [music] the side. The Kit Kats get scanned, but the more expensive candy at the bottom does not get scanned. >> Rosa, what's going on with this? >> I'm sorry. I you know, this is not the norm >> Yeah. >> I've never been in trouble for this. >> Well, what what what made you want to do it today? And what happened? >> I had a little running low on cash, and I was trying to get groceries, and was trying to pay for the majority of it. >> Yeah. Let me You got the receipt for the actual receipt for this? >> Yes, this is something that you've done before. She had it right here, but your job is to catch it. >> Rosa did not look like a serial shoplifter. She claimed that she had just been going through tough times, and foolishly [music] made a bad decision. But loss prevention saw it differently. Judging by what she was doing, they believed her shoplifting was much more calculated [music] than she'd let on. >> So, she's if she's doubling up on items >> So, like these two Tater Tots, did she take something? >> No, she scanned them both. She knows exactly what she's doing. >> Yeah. >> So, she scanned both of the Tater Tots, but the ground pork, remember she had the ground beef on the bottom? >> Yeah. >> She never even attempted to turn it to scan. She scanned the ground pork twice. >> No contest. >> Um And there if you keep watching, the potatoes she sets off to the side. >> Yeah. >> And she never even attempts [music] to scan it. >> So, some of these are doubled up. So, she paid more >> Yeah. >> So, the ones with the stars >> Yeah. >> She had two Tater Tots. >> [music] >> Uh the ground pork, the one with the stars, we are refunding her. >> Oh, so you're going to refund >> Yes, cuz she she scanned that in place of the ground beef. >> Okay. [music] >> So, we're refunding That's why we have the star by it. Cuz those are the ones she did double up on. And then she uses EBT. >> According to the loss prevention agent, Rosa had been scanning cheaper items, sometimes twice, while bagging the pricier ones without scanning. She took around 25 items totaling $216.69. The agent walked the officer through the surveillance footage, giving him a play-by-play of what Rosa did. >> She scanned [music] the other one. One gas X and no attempt to scan that second gas X. Double up. >> Rosa, is this just normal groceries for you, like home home stuff? Okay. >> Oh, here's the shampoo. Should I show you? >> good. So. >> So, right here, this is the orange bottle, it's the cheaper bottle. Scanned it, scanned it again, as you see. >> That one never got scanned. >> And that's a double up, right? >> That's the 20. Yeah, yeah, double up. >> So, we had to refund that. >> So. I'm really good. >> But you guys got that You got that, right? What you're going to do? >> Yeah, she just needs the receipt. She'll scan it, and then she'll get the refund. >> It'll pop everything. >> That's the other double up. One shoe, that >> There we go. >> Three cans and grab that, and then you can get them a copy. >> Thank you. >> And then, like I said, the chocolate milk, she scanned one, didn't scan the other the white milk. Scanned one, didn't scan the other. >> So, there be some other item that's cheaper on this. So, there would be two items, but one would get scanned and one wouldn't. >> Not in all instances. Um like I said, the duct tape, she had two duct tapes, scanned the clear [music] one, didn't scan the darker one at the bottom. Um the deodorant, uh I didn't actually see the deodorant. I seen That was before I started watching her. But it wasn't on the receipt. >> The more footage the officer reviewed, the tighter the case against Rosa got. The scam looked planned and deliberate. Still, the officer was sympathetic toward her, so he tried to put her mind at ease, explaining that she would not be going to jail, but would likely be released with a citation. >> All right, Rosa, we're going to do we're going to go to the station, okay? Uh I'm just going to fingerprint you, take a picture. You All you're going to get is a ticket and then you leave, okay? It's [music] just a misdemeanor ticket. You'll get a court date. Is that okay? >> That's what I'm worried about because of the fine. >> Uh that'll be determined at the court date. >> [music] >> So, nothing crazy. You're not going to go down to county or anything. You just got to go to the station. You have to sit in like a booking area. We'll do all our stuff and get you out of >> I don't want to be booked either. Our customer paid >> 30 Where [music] is it? >> Um >> How'd you get here? You're in a car? >> No. >> Okay. Like [snorts] 30 minutes? >> It says it's 1:18. It should be fine. [laughter] >> It should be fine. >> Okay. >> Okay. All right, ma'am, you can stand up, okay? I got to put you in handcuffs. You can stand up. >> And then I just walk out? >> No. You're in handcuffs. Can you turn around? You can leave all that there. We'll take all that with you. >> And then do I have to come back and get my car? >> She was worried about what would happen to her vehicle. The officer explained that even though they had the authority to tow her car, they would not do so because she was being so cooperative. >> I'm saying in these instances, it's a possibility that that can happen, okay? Okay. Making you aware. You'll be okay. No, you'll be able to I mean, I'm going to give you a I'm giving you a Yeah, but You can have him come to the station to get you. >> Okay. >> And then you guys can both come back and get the car. Does that sound good? >> Uh what sounds better is if that was just [music] just a >> If we just paid for the items, right? I mean Okay. All right. >> I just got to pat you down, so just turn around, please. Nothing I need [music] to check. I have something on my arm, but it's like it's on the side it's just my CGM. >> Yes, yes. >> Yeah. Okay. >> This is my meter. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> It's so the the the spike It's I think it's on the back or it's on the front. It switches off every 3 days, so I'm not sure. >> While searching the suspect, the officer found her continuous glucose monitor, a device that measures blood sugar levels. Even though suspects often make a big deal out of nothing, Rosa didn't complain about her condition. In fact, she said she would be fine as long as the booking didn't take too long. >> Uh what kind of car do you drive? >> Um a Chevy Traverse. >> Do you have the key? Do you have the keys? >> Yeah. >> Okay. The key's in the car? >> No, they're in my purse. >> Your grocery bag is in >> Oh. >> Do you remember where you parked? >> I don't >> How long you guys been here? >> From this side somewhere. I've been here till they get here. >> It's a white Traverse. >> So then you're leaving after? >> I don't know. I'm here till 6:00. >> She'll be back before [music] 6:00. >> Okay. >> So we'll just leave them here and then >> Oh, this, yeah. >> I just want to get it. If that's okay with you guys. Are you you're okay with that? Are you sure? Okay. We'll come back with your son to get all this. >> All right. I'll take my stuff out of here for me. >> We'll lock that door. You can call your son and then I'll get you in and out of here real quick. Okay. Perfect. You might Yeah, you might have to do it more than once. So you can either plead guilty, take the fine, or plead not guilty and then you go to the trial and everything. >> What should I do? >> I think believe you have to show proof of income and then if you're under a certain income, they'll assign you a public defender. So that's how it goes, okay? >> Even though Rosa cooperated throughout the booking process, she still got to be locked up and experienced the jail for at least a little while. She was released shortly after with a citation and a court date. On a January afternoon, two shoppers from Spokane were stopped on the sidewalk outside a Pullman, Washington Walmart. They had walked past every register with a cart full of mostly high-dollar electronics. They were taken to the store security office where they waited patiently for a police officer to arrive. >> Hello, it's me, Sergeant Patterday. All right, before we do anything here, I got something to read to you both, all right? >> Okay. >> So, all right. You have the right to remain silent, you understand? Is that a yes? >> Yes. >> And you? Is that a yes? Okay, I heard you. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. You understand? >> Yes, I do. Yes, I >> Mr. Nolan, do you understand? Okay. >> After Sergeant Patterday read their Miranda rights, both suspects confirmed they understood them. At that point, the sergeant turned to Mr. Zane, the asset protection agent in charge. The report he received was detailed and concise, leaving no room for error. >> Okay, Mr. Zane, what happened? >> I started watching Jenny here while she was coming out of like I don't know she had all the high-dollar electronics sitting in the cart there and some of it already in these little bags. She went over to grocery where she picked up some milk and some other grocery items and met Nolan in the action alley. They went across the front end over in different aisles and stuff there and then over to customer service where they returned what looked like a bag of kitty litter. I'll be checking to see if I came in with them. She did say she brought it in with her. We'll check video to verify. From there, they turned and went directly out the doors here and onto the sidewalk where than >> Past all points of sale? >> Yes, sir. >> We'll start with you. Jenny, >> Yes. give me the reason. Give me the excuse. What's uh What's going on? >> I've been broke for a while. Since there ain't no money again. >> No, I Times can be tough. I I understand that, but you needed to steal a JBL speaker? Okay. Do you see the issue with that? Like if you're if you're broke, like I can understand. So, like what's that Les Misérables, you know, Jean Valjean he steals a loaf of bread cuz he's broke. Right? But Jean Valjean didn't steal a JBL speaker. Right? Cuz that's a want. Wants versus needs. Did you I mean, it doesn't look like you bought anything that a person would need. Or it stole, I'm sorry. Not bought. That's my bad. Stole. It doesn't look like you stole anything a person would need. >> There's some milk and chips and stuff but most of that was $5 or something. >> Okay, so the the broke excuse isn't going to really is not going to work. Doesn't even make sense. >> Well, I was just saying like I haven't been able to get anything that I would you know, want. [music] So. >> Okay. >> Jenny explained it had taken a long while since she was able to purchase anything for herself. So, she decided to take the speakers. The couple said they came down from Spokane to Pullman to see a friend and decided to shoplift while they were in town. At that point, the sergeant tried to get a full confession. >> Do you think what he says is accurate? You came in you you both came in with the intention to steal items. You didn't pay for the items and you stole the items. Is that the long and the short of it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. $430 and well, $399.58. Uh you you of course don't look at sales tax in a little while. Otherwise, I guess you can. The one time you can steal from the government, I guess. Uh okay. Well, you're are surprised by any of this, correct, Nolan? I mean, you already said you came here with the intention to steal with her, so Right? Is that accurate, Nolan? >> I have a hard time answering that. >> What do you mean you have a hard time answering that? I don't understand. Can I ask you in a different way to help? Cuz you already said that's what you guys came for. >> I didn't say that's what I did. >> No, I said you you came here both came here with the intention to steal cuz you were down on your phone at a friend's house and you said, "Yes." >> Not with the intention. >> Oh, not the intention. But when you got here, you both decided it would be a good idea to steal. >> It was pretty much the agreement we had. >> And Nolan just went along with it. >> I mean, he was combative, but >> He was what? >> He was combative. I don't know why I pushed it. >> He was He He told you not to steal? >> Even though the couple initially claimed that Nolan was opposed to the theft, the agent pointed out that both had actively participated. In fact, it was Nolan who had broken the plastic handle from a speaker to be able to slide off its spider wrap. >> For sure. So, you two broke the spider wrap together. >> Not the spider wrap, but the handle. >> The handle to remove the spider wrap. It's like the old lady you swallowed the fly. So, uh all right. Uh yeah, this is pretty straightforward for Well, Sergeant Battery, both of you go ahead and stand up. You can keep the bag, Nolan. Go ahead and turn around, face away from me. You are both at this time under arrest for theft, third degree. Uh you are being audio and visually recorded. Uh I guess I'll ask this. Would you like those rights I read to you read to you again? It's a yes or no kind of thing. Turn your back. Would you like them read to you again? Okay. Mr. Nolan, would you like them read to you again? Do you remember them? Okay. >> As the officers searched the suspects, they found burned foil in Jenny's pocket. She claimed she found it on the floor, but Sergeant Patterte was too experienced to believe that. He immediately shifted the conversation to substance abuse. >> When was the last time you used? What's your uh What's your uh What's your choice? Okay. Okay. Did you? >> Yeah, we did quit, but someone left the bag in my car. >> Left the bag in your car? There's like lots of little baggies though, so And then the burnt foil in your pocket, which you didn't find in the gravel, did you? It's not illegal to have burnt foil, but I It is like It's not really like super illegal to lie to me if it's an immaterial thing, which is what would likely qualify as, but like this could be your first step on the road to redemption. You know what I mean? >> And the thing is if I got like drugs in my system, I would not have like >> Yeah. >> Imagine my sister like >> Yeah. You wouldn't have that much in your system. >> No, like I said, someone left that in my car and I >> And then it ended up in your system? You see where the issue is there? Like >> I do see the angle, but I'm owning up to that. Like I >> It was messed up. I should not have. But like I was on my period and then pain was making me like you know. And I I talked to myself into >> Mhm. She claimed they had friends who used drugs and that she found the burnt foil as she was cleaning the car the night before. The sergeant had his reservations, but still tried to be friendly and supportive. And my recommendation, this is free advice for you, find different friends. >> Yeah. >> If you're trying to get clean. >> Yeah. >> You know. >> Like cuz we we were using for a little while and like we And to New Mexico and got clean, so >> Okay. Not many people can say that they went to New Mexico to get clean, but >> Yeah, right. >> Sure, probably the opposite, but uh >> um without Methamphetamine or Oxycontin, so. >> Okay. Well, you might want to try a different different strategy cuz this isn't working for you. So, okay. Uh so, yeah, what will happen is if you don't have any warrants or anything, um I mean, if you do, we'll deal with it. If you don't, uh you'll sit down at my holding facility approximately 6 hours and then you'll uh be released with a citation, okay? If you do have warrants, obviously we got to >> [music] >> got to deal with that, okay? Thank you. >> It took about an hour for the suspects to be transported to jail and booked. The Sergeant Paderte decided to go back to the Walmart's and check their vehicle. As it turned out, someone was sitting inside it waiting. >> Hello. I'm Sergeant Paderte with the Pullman Police Department. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, you're waiting here for your friends? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, do you know what they're doing in there? >> I don't know. I've been waiting for a while now. >> Okay. Yeah, I know. What do they they didn't let you know what they were doing? >> No, I've been texting them and getting a hold of them and >> Oh, okay. Yeah. Uh so, >> I'm trying to leave. >> Yeah, they got arrested for shoplifting. >> Oh, are they are they in jail? >> Yeah. Yeah, so, they'll be there for up to 6 hours, so. >> They didn't leave no keys or nothing? >> They didn't leave you no keys or nothing. They didn't tell you that's what they were going in there to do? I mean, everyone knows you shoplift at the Pullman Walmart and Casper will catch you. You know? Have you Are you from Spokane, too? >> Yeah. >> Have you heard about the Spokane about the Pullman Walmart down there? They don't talk about it up there? >> I haven't heard anything of >> Oh, man. They should spread the word that they're coming down here and shoplifting and then Casper will He'll get you. That's the shoplifter. That's the loss prevention guy. Yeah. Yeah. He's like uh He's like the friendly ghost. He just appears. You know what I mean? But uh yeah, spread the word up there. Hey, can I grab your name real quick so I can say I talked to you since you were in the car your his car Nolan's car? >> Yeah, that's S A X X O N. >> S A >> X X O N >> That's your first name? >> Yeah. >> That's unique. I like it. >> Jenny and Nolan did not end up in county jail. They were issued a citation for third-degree theft and received a lifetime Walmart trespass. The sergeant warned them that coming back was an arrestable offense and that attempting to steal again could escalate it to burglary. What began as a routine shoplifting call on January 10th, 2026 quickly escalated into a full-blown manhunt. The moment an officer approached the suspect at a Walmart in Sterling Heights, Michigan, things took a turn for the worse. >> This is beard oil made basically. >> All right. >> Let's go with him. >> You got one running. Black hat. Coming right towards you. David 21. He is up on towards car dealership lot. He went towards the car dealership lot. >> The officer in full gear had no chance of keeping up with the young man. The most puzzling part was that the running thief allegedly stole a single bottle of beard oil. So, the question was, why did he flee? >> He's hiding in here somewhere. Uh right by the Jeep compasses. Over by the big billboard sign. Retail fraud, Arnold. Yeah, he's over there by that Hyundai almost heading towards the woods. That white building. Hey, dude. Grab your car. >> As the officers continued searching, they found the man's shoes and clothing. The trail led them to a nearby river, but witnesses claimed they saw him on the other side. By that time, multiple units were already involved. >> He's going to be shoeless. Dropped his shoes in the lot. He's going to be on the other side of the river. Over by this RV storage lot. What happened? He's going to be on this side of that RV lot. Yep. Yeah, just a lot of running, dude. He's got no shoes. He dropped his shoes right up here on the right. Yep, black male, black hat, black jacket, black pants, black backpack. He's got one of those face mask things. >> The officer found the man's backpack in the nearby wooded area. And even though a canine unit was eventually involved in the search, it was a patrol officer in a vehicle who finally spotted someone resembling the suspect's description. >> All right, stop. Stop right there. Why aren't your shoes on? Why don't you have shoes on? >> I'm homeless. >> You're homeless? >> Yeah. >> Turn around. >> Put your hands behind you. >> Leave it. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. >> Can I get a radio on this? >> First one of Warren animal cruelty got one resisting. We found him. >> Get on your back. Get on your back. Get on your back or you're going to get tased. Get on your back. >> I haven't done anything. >> Get on your stomach right now. >> I haven't done anything. >> Get on your stomach right now. >> I haven't done anything. >> Get on your stomach. >> I haven't done anything. >> Get on your stomach. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> Stop fighting. Stop fighting, dude. Get him on his stomach. >> Get my leg. Get my leg. >> Okay, get up. Get up. Get up. Put your hands behind your back. >> Even with five officers trying to detain him, the suspect still resisted. It was definitely not just about the beard oil. But before the officers get to identify and question the suspect, they first need to handcuff him and make sure he doesn't run again. >> I haven't done anything. It won't work. Stop resisting. >> We're good. We're good. Slow down. Slow down. You got this, Chris. Put your other hand up. Put your hands up. Put your hands up. Give it up. hand. Yeah, we still got one hand. Maddie, get over here. Grab his Grab his arm. >> No, he's not the one. >> Grab him here. >> There you go. >> Yeah, okay. >> You don't got no shoes on. >> Get up. >> Get up. >> Get up. >> Get up. >> Take legs. >> Car. >> There you go. >> Here we go. Walk this way. Pass through this side. >> Yeah, I got it. >> All right. >> You don't have no consent to search. >> Shut up. Check that side. >> All right, come on, bro. I don't got it. He's kicking my dick. I told you I don't have it. I got to go to the station. >> Soon after the suspect was placed in the squad car, the officer from Walmart arrived and confirmed the man was the shoplifter he was after. But then, the officers were facing another issue. The man refused to identify himself. So, for the time being, the officers referred to him as John Doe. >> Yeah, it looks like he took his clothes off cuz he's in all red right now, but he's walking with no shoes. >> Yeah, no, that's him. >> I told you I don't >> No, it's not. You have the wrong guy. >> Yeah, so he's walking with no >> You said you dumped his pants in >> Menards, so >> You don't >> You You're good. >> Hey. >> He said he's going to transport. We're going to follow him. All you got to do is report. >> Perfect. Good deal. >> We're going to do uh >> No, you got to go work. >> Yeah, Donnie Arndt know. >> Yep. >> Yeah, yep. >> Yep, we're there. >> And then uh >> Yeah, where's our retail three IC? >> Yeah. We He won't identify, so we right now he's just a John Doe, so >> Okay. >> Well, there's When you get the prints >> Yeah. >> And then, uh What do we do? Felony R and O, misdemeanor R and O for the uh non-identifying >> the retail, whatever that comes back to you. >> the retail. It's a crime not to ID yourself, so Look at me. Dude, there's so many cameras in that building. Dude, you're done. You hear what I'm saying? I don't want you to get another charge. What's your first name? >> The officer tried his best to persuade the man to reveal his name, but it didn't work. He was about to be charged with resisting, obstructing, and [music] third-degree retail fraud. But once the officers took his fingerprints, a more disturbing truth came to light. >> more breaking news for you this afternoon. A Detroit man has been indicted on murder charges after a deadly shooting on I-640 earlier this month. Police say he is still on the run right now. Dayshawn Moton, charged with first-degree murder. Take a look at your screen. First-degree murder, felony murder are his charges right now. >> Dayshawn Moton risked getting caught just for a bottle of beard oil. He was indicted by a grand jury on 17 [music] counts, including two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of felony murder, and one count of attempted first-degree murder. But he would have to face the charges in Michigan before being extradited to Tennessee. On October 11th, 2025, officers were called to a Walmart in Orange City, Florida, after store security flagged a group moving through the store. Loss prevention had observed someone shoplifting on camera, but when officers arrived, they weren't sure who the suspects were. >> Y'all come here. Y'all come here. Y'all What are y'all doing in the store? Sir? >> [crying] >> Put your hands up. You can't put your hands up. >> [crying] >> Buddy over there just saw you guys on camera. I don't know if you guys are the one that took it, but he said Buddy over there said he's watching our camera take stuff. Stay over here. Come on, over here. I don't know if it was you guys, but you guys are in a group though. So, right now Huh? Yeah, just give the boys the receipt and let's see what he got. Come on, get out of here. Just stay right here though. Who else is Who else is in the store? >> [crying] >> Nope, stay here. Over here. Who is it? He put the [crying] thing over here before he took the makeup, he took the other shirts and stuff like that. Whatever you took from over there, you all took stuff. You stuffed your stuff underneath. The suspects claimed they had paid for their goods, but the loss prevention agent was adamant that they had also taken things they hadn't paid for. So, the officer decided to detain them all until the matter was cleared up. Watch your stuff. All right. I'm Put them together like you're praying. You're praying. Just makes it easier. How old are you, bro? >> [snorts] >> How old are 18? Yeah. Are y'all putting them all together or what? Are we all separate? If she's individuals, it's going to be separate. They're getting everything separate. We can't charge them as a whole. Oh, you're out of state. >> The agent claimed all four suspects participated in the theft, so they should all be charged. Since they were so young and they didn't have any big ticket items, the officer would prefer to cite and release them. But there were two big issues that prevented that. They were out of state and had no IDs. >> Okay, so she's never been issued an ID at all. Never? Never had an out of state ID? She'll be able to leave today? Like is she going to be able to pay for us to get out of here? >> Yeah, I'm pretty sure that once you go to IA, you'll get a bond. >> You'll have a bond? >> Regardless of what my son >> Uh possibly like do you guys know like the range that it could possibly be? >> Yeah, it depends. I mean sometimes they'll be like no I don't or or like it it depends. It depends on your criminal history, it depends on your attorney, it depends on the judge. >> You mean like going to jail? Maybe a bond like 500 is a misdemeanor. >> And with a bond company would it be like the 10% thing? >> Yes. >> The suspects were very young and did not appear to be career criminals. One of them was with a young baby, which only [music] made things worse. Shoplifting a few things probably seemed minor, but now that they were caught in the act, they had to face the prospect of going to jail. >> Hey, did you fill out already? >> I did. I'm just waiting for the toilet to come back. They just got to put their minor items in the toilet. We're going to separate the receipts. So >> Did she give you the trespass already? >> No. >> Now you know. Just do better next time. You can't take it back. You're already here, right? So sitting here with regret is not going to make things any better. >> I'm scared to go to jail. They're going to get me. >> The officer and the agent recognized these weren't necessarily bad people. Perhaps they just made a bad decision. So they tried to ease their minds about going to jail, hoping they had all learned their lesson. >> I don't think you'll be in there that long. >> It's a misdemeanor. Other than how quick you go It's a misdemeanor. >> Oh my god. >> When you get up there, they're going to ask you a series of questions. Once you get through this process You're going to sign for your property at the end of this. And you'll be able to get your phone. You'll get your phone at the end. After you get processed. It's a misdemeanor. You'll see a judge. That's all you have to do. You'll be out of there. >> I don't want to go to jail for stealing something. >> This is your trespass warning, meaning you can never come back to this Walmart North City. If you do come back, you're subject to arrest for trespass after warning. Do you understand what I'm saying? You don't understand? >> That's what I'm saying. Like I I understand, but don't worry about it. >> You can go to Walmart in Daytona or whatever, but you cannot come back to this Walmart. If you do and they see you or we see you on on camera, you will be arrested for trespass after warning. It's still a misdemeanor, but still that's an arrestable offense. Do you need your stuff? >> Yeah, I don't That's embarrassing. I'm already fat. >> The officer warned them that once they get released from jail with a court date, appearing in court is mandatory. They would be able to do it online, but if they missed a court date, a warrant would be issued for their arrest. >> Y'all got some trouble. >> When you got Y'all know the answer to this. >> Third thing, right? >> Y'all know the answer to this, right? Because they give us >> I really was coming in here to get a pacifier. >> Yeah, yeah. >> My baby ain't had no pacifier and he been No, no, y'all heard him crying? >> Let me just do this instead. >> Dumb. I was going to cuss, but dumb mistake. >> And how old are your babies? How old is he? You have like formula? >> Jeez. He's tiny. >> 2 years So, depending on like what you have, would it have been different? Like if we would have Or you're saying we had like a lot of cash. >> I mean, like the >> A lot of money. >> Like the It's the amount that changes the charge. It's $750 or more for a felony in the state of Florida. >> Well, we only had about $10 apiece. >> It still doesn't mean anything regardless. Though, it could be $1 and it doesn't [snorts] mean anything.
