Hey, Artisia Police Department. >> Get over here. Get over here right now. >> Get over here. Get out of my house. >> Get over here. >> Come here. Hurry up. Who else is in the house? >> Where are they at? >> They say timing is everything and every second counts. And when it comes to law enforcement, that couldn't be truer. From responding to domestic violence to saving people from a burning building, here are times cops had perfect timing. >> Hey, >> hey, buddy. Wake up. Wake up. Relax. Relax. Relax. >> What's going on with you? >> No, I just I'm chilling, man. >> Relax. See, that's the problem. You got to relax, right? >> Okay. >> On July 3rd, 2024, officers in Kadah, Wisconsin received a call about a black Ford Mustang driving on the wrong side of the road, swerving into oncoming traffic. The witness said that the driver appeared to be having a seizure. The officers quickly located the vehicle at an elementary school parking lot. >> He's all curled up in here, dude. Hey. Hey, buddy. Hey, >> door is locked. Going to smash it. >> I don't smash that side. >> Hey, Kevin. >> Kevin, Kevin. Hey, Kevin. >> Kevin, >> let's give it a shot. >> Go east 23 shortly. >> Yeah, >> Kevin. Dude, driver should be unlocked. >> The unconscious driver was later identified as 41-year-old Cody O'Harn. Being bent like a pretzel in the front seat restricted his breathing, which made him appear blue in the face. After all the yelling and the breaking the window failed to wake him up. The officers were clearly worried about his condition. >> Kevin, he's he's blue. He's sweaty. Kevin seat belt. >> Kevin, wake up. >> Wake up. >> Relax. Relax. >> Relax. Relax. >> Relax. Relax. Relax. Hey, Kevin. Calm down. Calm down. Kevin, calm down. Calm down. Calm down. >> Relax. Relax. Relax. >> Relax, buddy. Relax. >> Relax. Relax. Calm down. Calm down. Hey, it's the police department. >> Calm down. >> Relax. Relax. Relax. Relax. >> Kevin, relax. >> Yes. Just relax. Kevin. Kevin, just relax, buddy. Okay, >> relax. You good? >> Relax. Take a breath. >> Breathe. Breathe. >> Breathe. Unbuckle. Step out. Quick. Step out. >> It's okay. Step out. >> Step out. Step out for me. >> Hey, this way. This way. Step out. Step out. >> I'm out. >> Hey, what's going on with you? >> Cody snapped out of it to see two officers pulling him by the legs. He was clearly delirious and he didn't calm down no matter how many times they told him [music] to. The good thing was that he was alive and somewhat well. The bad thing, [music] he was showing concerning signs of substance abuse. >> Kevin, what's going on? >> No, nothing here. Nothing. I'm >> Hey. Hey. >> Oh, sorry, sir. I was just falling asleep then. >> Hey, what did you take something? >> No. >> What's going on with you? >> No, I just I'm chilling, man. We got to report that you have reckless driving. >> No. >> Yeah. >> Why you bleeding, man? >> I know. Can I just shut this open? >> It is shut down. >> You got anything on you that's going to poke, stick, or cut me? You mind if I just uh patch you down quick for weapons? >> I didn't do anything. >> Listen, Kevin, what I need you to do right now is relax. >> I need you to calm down. Okay. We arrived. You were completely curled up in a ball, unresponsive. >> Listen. >> Okay. We have fire department on the way to come check you out. >> I'm good, sir. >> That's what's happening. >> I'm good, sir. >> Do you understand me? >> Thanks for the alarm. >> Oh, Jesus. >> Kevin, stay out of the car. Sorry. >> Stay out of the car. Come here. >> Come here. >> Despite Cody's denial, he was almost certainly under the influence. The deep sleep, his contorted position, the itching and frenzied behavior, it all pointed [music] to not one but multiple different substances. >> Hand me the keys. >> Just calm down. >> I just am tired, man. >> Should we say anything, Kevin? I >> they're just nervous. >> Kevin, stop moving around so much. I know it's hard. I'm sorry. >> Hey, Kevin, do me a favor. Put your hands right here. Put your hands right here right now. Okay. I'm just going to patch [snorts] you down for weapons quick. Okay. >> Keep your hands in the car. I'm >> sorry. >> Kevin, do you mind if we search you, man? Just make sure there's nothing on you. >> Make sure there's nothing on you, man. Please, >> do you mind if we search you? >> Do you mind if we search you? >> I'm sorry. I just got I just where you at a lot. >> Oh man. >> Despite his erratic behavior, he was lucid enough to know exactly what was happening and that the situation was not looking good. He actually had eight prior OWIs and was out on probation wearing an ankle monitor. At just four weeks out of prison, another owi arrest was the last thing he wanted to happen. >> You guys, please. I >> just got out of prison, man. >> Oh my god. No, I can't. >> Can we search you, Kevin, real quick? I can't. Yes, sir. Okay. Okay. All right. Put your hands. Just relax. Okay. Just relax. >> Oh my god. 102.3. >> Sorry. >> It's hard. >> What' you take? >> So the fire department knows what's going on with you. >> I didn't I didn't take >> That's a lie. Do you do any math? >> Oh no. Oh god. >> Oh my god. >> The officer tried to find out what he had taken, but he wouldn't say. He couldn't stop twitching and rambling incoherently. When the Kadahi Fire Department arrived, they quickly determined he needed to be taken to the hospital. Oh, >> said >> I mean obviously he's detained for no investigation if that wasn't clear. >> Used last night is what he's planning. >> Yeah. All right. >> Why don't you just go ahead and put them 101 15? [snorts] >> All right. We're going to get you to the bed. Somebody's turned back with a book. >> Send me your hand right here, buddy. >> Oh, soon as you enter, go right about my hand. Hey, give me your hand here, buddy. Take a breath, though. Like, just take a breath. >> Come on, man. You got you got some issues going on. >> The officer noticed the ankle monitor and remarked that Cody was likely in violation of his probation. But at that moment, Cody was too busy fighting the urge to scratch and fold himself up again. The officer tried to calm him down enough to have a conversation, but it was still difficult. >> Relax. See, that's the problem. You got to relax, right? >> If you stay cool with me here, right? We're all cool. >> Okay. >> So, let me explain this to you. You listening? >> Yes, sir. >> Mr. O'Harn, right? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Just [clears throat] what I'm going to tell you. All right. >> Promise you're not going to punch me in the face or anything silly like that? >> Absolutely not. >> You like cops? Are we okay? We just have a job to do sometimes. Okay. >> Yes. >> So, this is obviously these guys are going to help you best their ability, right? But I need you to let you listen. Hey, listen. Listen. >> I need you to let you know like obviously you're you're in custody cuz you're driving under the influence again. Okay. So, >> wait. You're driving under the influence. >> Yeah. >> I mean, >> obviously you can't you wouldn't even be able to do fields right now because you're bouncing around. >> Okay. Hear me out, Mr. >> Hear me out. >> Oh my god. >> Can you hear me out? >> Okay. So, my partner's going to read a form here. Okay. It's called informing the accused form. What it's going to ask for is a blood sample at the end of it. If you tell him no, we just go get a search warrant, okay? And then we get any means necessary. >> After he was treated at the hospital, Cody was taken to Milwaukee County Jail and charged with his ninth owi. His toxicology report showed a combination of co and he was eventually sentenced to 7 years with half being served in prison and the other half on probation. On January 28th, 2024, Artasia PD responded to a domestic disturbance [music] call. The moment they arrived at the location, they were met by a sobbing girl and a crying baby. The girl quickly pointed the officers toward the house and mentioned her mom was in there. As they approached, yelling could be heard inside. >> Crazy right now. I said nothing. Where's he? >> He's over there. But there's like nothing to do with them. [crying] >> I got two kids out here. I got some back. >> Hey, Artisia Police Department. >> Get over here. Get over here right now. >> NO. >> GET OVER HERE. >> GET OUT OF MY HOUSE. >> GET OVER HERE. >> JESUS. >> HEY. >> HEY. Get over here right now. Come on, >> just picture me. He gets it. >> He's refusing. Get out. >> No, I'm not refusing. He's not refusing. I'm not refusing. >> Come here. Come here. >> Come here. >> I'm not refusing. >> Not refusing. >> Step this way. >> Can I get my sandal? >> Get your sandal real quick. The officer's quick response likely prevented the situation from escalating further. He quickly separated the man and the woman. Once he was securely handcuffed, it was time to get to the bottom of what happened. >> 26. I got one detained. You step it down. >> You're not going to jail either. Why you going to jail? >> Huh? >> You said you got one detained. >> I got you detained right now. >> Oh. >> So, am I going to jail? >> Huh? >> Am I going to jail? Well, I'm like, when I walked [music] in there, dude, you you were down and you pushed I pushed her off for me. >> She didn't want to let me go. She wanted me to stay. >> Come over here real quick. >> I'm on qu right on the corner of Quay in 20. >> I'm not going to do that. >> Sorry. I'm park. Sorry. Park in six. Right on the corner. >> I'm not going to do I'm not going to run around. Let me see. >> I can't I have a bad bag. >> Do you? >> Yeah. >> I can get the wall if you like. >> Okay. All right, get right up against the bumper then. >> Despite being enraged just a few minutes ago, the suspect was surprisingly calm and cooperative. He didn't object to being handcuffed and detained, and he was willing to talk about the incident. >> What was going on, man? >> We were just we're just holding on to each other and I was trying to get out. >> That was it, man. >> Okay. When I walked in there, dude, y'all were I mean, >> I was Yeah, I was upset. I was like, "Yeah, get off me." >> Yeah, y'all were hitting. Somebody was hitting cuz >> Oh, no. I was I was that was me throwing my >> That was me throwing my stuff. >> What's going on, man? >> No, just just just arguing and then I guess from here I was just I took all my stuff away. >> Okay, turn around. Did you patch you down yet? Turn around. Let me give you a quick >> Yeah. We have >> What's your name? >> Adrian Moss. 28 central clear one by name and date of birth. >> While the officer waited for dispatch to confirm Adrienne's identity, he asked him about what had happened. Surprisingly enough, Adrien claimed his girlfriend had started the argument and that she wouldn't let him leave. >> What happened? >> She accused me of cheating and I started throwing stuff around. When the officer came in, he was at the door. She was on on my couch. >> I was yelling I was yelling over over her. Was she on her stomach on the couch? >> No, she was just like like sitting down. She was sitting down. We were arguing. >> Okay. What? Just be real. Did you put hands on her? Did you touch her? >> No. Well, I better tell you, but I didn't. >> Okay. I'd expect you to tell me the truth. >> I mean, there'll be there'll be marks on this. >> I just want someone to be real with me. You know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. Be real with you. >> Okay. >> Are you going to read my rights? >> I don't have to yet cuz you're technically just detained. >> Okay. So, how long? Okay. >> For as long as it takes for us to investigate. >> More than 15 minutes. As long as it take to get this settled. Okay. >> Okay. Settle. Who Who called you? >> Figure out what's going on. We don't know who called. >> I didn't call you. >> We know you didn't call us. >> I know. I didn't call you. >> No. Obviously, you guys were fighting someone arguing. I was I was yelling at my lunch. >> So, she just accused you of cheating. >> Yes. >> Okay. That's none of my business or anything. All right. I'm not going to >> No, it's cool, man. You guys did your job like I told him. Adrien explained that he lived with his girlfriend, so the officer suggested they separate for the night until things settled down. Adrien had no problem with that and said he would sleep at his mother's house. Since he appeared to be truthful, the officer kept asking questions. >> When you were arguing, were you guys arguing out here or in there? >> Um, well, the cop went in there and that's where he went. >> Okay. But did it start out here? Is what I'm saying? >> Oh, I had Where did all this start at? Well, in the house. >> In the house. >> Yeah. >> Like what? Like 10 15 minutes ago. >> Um just started going 15 minutes ago. Okay. No more than 20. >> But you're saying everything was still in the houses like in inside the walls. Well, there I go in the beginning and she started walking that way and then I I was I got in my ride and I went up to her and then she I convinced her just to walk back over there and I reversed and then we were in there. >> Oh, so you were in the car and she was walking away and you drove up to her and you told her come back. >> Okay. >> She came back. >> Was she by herself or she >> No, she was walking with the kids. >> One reason he might have appeared [music] suspicious was the fact that his name did not come up in the database search. This might have been a simple spelling error, but it might also mean the suspect had given a false name. >> I don't know why my why why didn't my name come up? >> Why did your name come up? >> Yeah. >> I don't know. They probably must have misspelled it. Normally sometimes like cuz your name's Adrian, right? >> Mhm. >> No metal name. >> Two N's, two E's. It if they spelled it wrong, that's why probably it didn't come up. That's why running you by social is probably just better. What's your mom's name? >> Priscilla. >> Priscilla. What's her address? I too. She used to live by here, but not no more. >> No, but what's her address on uh Monterey? >> I I honestly don't know. >> Does dad live dad live? Got a nice big fountain in front of it. >> Yeah. >> 804. >> I don't I don't know. >> It's like almost close to the corner of Monterey Hermosa. >> I met your dad the other day. >> Yeah, he does a lot of work. We're cool with four. >> I met your dad's the other day cuz he called us because we're part of When the supervisor arrived, he immediately had an issue with Adrienne's initial refusal to obey the officer's commands. Adrien tried to come up with various excuses, but the responding officer was there to set the record straight. >> So, let me ask you something. How many times does he need to tell you to come on out when there's an incident going on? Well, at first he caught me. Yes. Caught me by surprise. >> I mean, but still like >> I was He was in his uniform and all good stuff. >> I refused to talk anymore. >> Okay. >> He didn't resist. There was no resistance. >> There was no resistance. >> Okay. When I told you to come outside, you did notice. You kept on telling me no. >> It was a heat. >> You kept on telling me no. And then you [music] told me that to get out to get out of your property. Now, me getting out whenever >> obviously something's going on. >> You didn't let me get my sand. What are you talking about? >> I did. I did. And once you I told you I told you my turn off. >> Yes, I did tell you you could get it real quick. >> I did and I did. >> Yes. [music] But you weren't listen to me at first. When I first told you to come outside, you were refusing to come out and you were telling me to get out. >> Is that the only you guys got on me? Cuz I mean like I honestly knew you want to play a game with I'll take this investigation. >> I honestly didn't hear and I'll get you for a battery. >> I honestly didn't hear him. >> With Adrian already being cooperative, the officers were debating what to charge him with. So they ran things through his girlfriend, the perceived victim in this case. >> He was over me yelling at me. He thinks that I took his money. I did not. But I He didn't hit me. He didn't put his hands on me. I kicked you at him. I did kick him. >> But you were afraid. >> Yeah, but I didn't. But he never hit me though. >> Okay. >> He never put his hands on me. Okay. What? What? You taking him to jail? >> Yeah, he's going to go to jail for resisting right now cuz he was given a lawful order. Yeah, but he but but he he put his hands up and he and he figured and didn't. >> But when he was told to get up and get out, >> but you got >> He didn't do it. No. When someone looks like they're in fear and they're getting hurt, >> it's a lawful order. >> I understand. But but he was he did. >> He did. Okay. But he did go. He was just It was just a heat of the moment situation. >> What I just told I just saw the video. You were like crouching over at the the couch. Okay. Look like you're about to get struck. >> Ma'am, >> okay. So, you can play all this game stuff. Okay. Been around a long time. I know a physical domestic when I see one. >> Despite his girlfriend defending him, Adrien Munoz was arrested and taken to jail. He potentially faced charges of resisting arrest and domestic abuse. When the Cadet Police Department responded to a residential fire on April 9th, 2025, the garage was already fully engulfed in flames and the fire was spreading throughout the house. Most people would have waited for fire and rescue. But when one officer glanced through a window and saw a woman inside, he knew he had to act fast. Can you come out? >> Hang on. Hang on. Back up. Back up. Cover your mouth. >> Huh? >> Is there anybody else here? All right. Hurry up. Get them out. >> 203 County. Multiple occupants. Multiple occupants. Here. Give me your hand. Hurry up. Who else is in the house? >> My daughter. >> Where are they at? >> Just duck. JUST DUCK. >> I CAN'T. >> Don't worry about getting cut. >> Help me. >> Okay, I got you. >> Okay. Hey, here. Don't worry about the glass. Okay. Grab me. Grab me. Grab me. Grab me. Grab me. Grab me. Okay. Go. Go this way. Go this way. Go this way. >> After getting the woman out to safety, the officer rushed to the other side of the house looking for her daughter Teresa and her grandson. The neighbors were already there, but there was a problem. >> Fit here. Can you pull this up here? Who? Just come. Who else is in the house? Anybody else? Mom, she's on her. >> She's on the other side. We got her out. >> Is there anybody else besides your mom? >> My nephew Michael. We don't know where he is. >> Where is he? >> He might have been in the garage. >> Your nephew Michael might be in the garage. >> Okay. Just climb up on the desk. >> Pull that shade right now. >> Huh? >> Pull that jade right now. >> So, don't worry about breaking anything. Anyway, we just got to get you out of here. >> I got a lot of time up here. I'm too fat. >> It's okay. Just do the best you can. >> I'm trying. >> I know you are. >> Yeah. >> Give me your hand here. >> It's not working. >> Okay. >> Since Teresa was too large to fit through the small window, the officer had to find another way. Before he resorted to more destruction, he wanted to give it another try. Maybe [music] she'll manage to squeeze through. >> All right, I need you to get up on that desk. Okay, >> just push this stuff out of the way. Okay, don't worry about anything right now. We You need to get out of here. >> Get this out. >> We're trying. >> Did mom get out? >> Yes. >> Yeah, mom's out. >> Just get up on that desk. >> [snorts] >> There you go. You're doing good. You're doing good. You're doing good. There you go. >> That's okay. >> I lost my shoe. >> That's okay. Don't worry about your shoe. You get this thing out. All right. Grab a hold of me. Okay. >> I'M STUCK. >> OKAY. >> JUST WAIT. I'm stuck. >> It's going to hurt, but we got to get you out. Okay. You got it. Here. Give me a hug. Just wiggle. Okay. >> I like glasses. >> Don't worry about your glasses. We got to get you out, sweetie. Okay. >> Here. Go ahead. >> I'm stuck. >> I'm stuck. >> That's okay. >> After getting stuck, Teresa had no choice but to slide back inside. With the second attempt failing, the situation was getting critical. Everybody started to feel the effects of smoke inhilation. The officer knew what he had to do. I had something to bust that window with. [cough] >> Tell fire. We need help back here [music] >> to get this window out. >> Here. Give me that. >> Watch out. Okay. Cover your eyes. With the window frame broken, it was time for one last attempt to extract Teresa from the burning house. By that point, fire and rescue had arrived, and they were eager to get into the action and lend a helping hand. >> Oh, there's a lot of smoke in there, Jeremy. Jeremy, there's a ton of smoke in there. We'll get her out. We almost had her out. >> We almost had her out already. Come on. [music] >> I can get behind her, Tony. All right. >> Here, we got a mass behind us, Jeremy. We got a mask behind us. >> Jeremy, grab one side. I'll grab the other here. Give me your problem. >> Give me your arm, honey. >> All right. >> There you go. You got it, sweetie. You're doing good. Just grab a hold of me. Okay. Ready? Push. Come on. Come on. Where are you going? >> What? [music] Where's the at? >> They don't know grandson. >> Okay. >> With the grandson Michael still missing and potentially trapped inside the house, time was running out. Luckily, on the third attempt, Teresa managed to get herself up onto the window sill. With one fireman pushing her from behind and several people pulling her, they had a higher chance of success. Okay, driver ready. You're going to calm going to help down slow. Down slow. Down slow. Down slow. There you go. All right. All right, man. Here. Can we get you rolled over? >> All right. There's another kid inside, I think. Find out how old. >> 26. WHERE DOES HE GO? Where is he? Don't >> have her start calling to figure it out. >> Are we able to get you up and out of here, honey? We got to get you away from the house. Okay, >> there we go. >> There we go. >> I swear that I can't pull the ground. >> Okay, let me give you >> Mike's in there now. Okay, >> let's get her walked around. >> Before the officers could go looking for Michael, they needed to get Teresa to the medics. She was surely suffering from smoke inhilation and getting pulled out through a broken window was not exactly a gentle process. >> 203 County, can we get additional EMS started for smoke inhilation? Nicole, we just got her out. Smoke inhilation for sure. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Teresa. All right. Teresa, unfortunately, I need you to watch me cuz we got hoses. You think you can make it that far from me? Okay. Let me get my upstairs shirt. Okay. Where's the other person that came out? >> She was over there somewhere. I think she's over there sitting down with the gray sweatshirt. >> Was Michael in here, too? >> We don't know. >> There may be another kid inside. We're trying to figure out. Give yourself a big hug. Okay. >> Up over the shoulders. >> I don't know if we can though. >> While the officers tended to Teresa and her mom, Debbie, Michael suddenly showed up. At that point, all the occupants were safe and out of harm's way. So, the officers started wondering what had started the fire. >> Hey, ma'am. This ambulance here is for you, okay? >> We want to check you out. You're inside the house. There's a lot of smoke. >> We just want to make sure that you're okay. >> Okay. With that smoke inhalation, it can be pretty rough. >> They're just going to check you out. Okay. >> Yeah. Did you walk over here? >> You didn't inhale any folks or what? >> A little bit, but worry about that later. >> So, you live here, buddy? >> Yeah. My phone's gone, too. I left my phone. >> All right. What's your first name? >> Michael. >> Michael. All right. >> When So, at first they said you were in the garage. Were you here at all? >> No. >> Okay. When did you leave? >> I left like 2 hours ago. >> Left like 2 hours ago. >> I'll tell you. >> Michael was not present when the fire started. But Teresa and Debbie claimed he was in the garage and that's where the fire broke out. So, naturally, the officer wanted to know more about what he was doing before he left. But the garage was like the the thing that was fully involved. >> He walked through the garage. It was hazy, but he smokes tobacco often. >> Okay. So, at like 5:30, I thought it was hazy, but he smokes. You said in the garage. >> It just smelt like tobacco. There was no reason to be alarmed in my >> Yeah. No, I get that. I get that. Okay. All right. Any idea what what could have been a start or a cause here? >> I have no idea. >> Okay. Do you smoke in the garage? >> Yeah. >> Did you smoke before you left? >> No. >> Okay. Do you have like a ashtray that you that you dump your cigarettes in? Yeah. >> Is it a can or a tray or a bucket or >> uh It was like a bag. >> Okay. Like a plastic bag or paper bag? >> Yeah, like a plastic bag. >> Okay. Is that where you put your cigarettes when you're done with them? >> Yeah. I mean, not not like not like I put them in the ashtray first. >> Oh, I got you. So, you dump the ashtray in the bag. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. And what is the ashtray like? What is that? >> It's just an ashtray, you know? >> Like ceram I guess. Like what is it? Like a ceramic or pottery type ashtray. And then when that fills up, you dump in the bag. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Did you do any of that today by chance? like dump anything in a bag. >> Okay. >> All right. Yeah. Just so we can kind of let them know. >> Before the officer left, he thanked the neighbors for calling 911 when they saw the smoke coming from the house. Had she ignored the smoke, the rescuers would have probably been too late to save Debbie and Teresa. After multiple people reported a barefoot woman walking in the rain with two young children on January [music] 22nd, 2025, officers responded quickly. But they didn't expect the mother's reaction. >> Ma'am, >> ma'am, >> ma'am. [crying] Maybe something wrong with your baby. >> Hold on. >> Hello. >> All right. >> We're trying to talk. Are you okay? >> I'm trying to talk to you. >> My baby is >> okay. How's the baby? Is the baby okay? >> I'm not sure. Listen, can I explain to you? Can I explain to you? >> Can we Can we walk over there so you don't get wet? >> No. Can I explain to you what's happening first? >> Okay. >> Listen. >> The woman asked the officers to listen to her, but every time they tried, she either walked away, changed the subject, or spiraled into incoherent mumbling. But the worst part was that the baby she was carrying still wasn't moving. Is the baby okay? >> I'm not sure. >> You're not sure? >> I'm not sure. >> You want rescue? >> No. Get out. Help me. Yeah, baby. Yeah, baby. [crying] >> Is the baby okay? >> Do you guys need rescue? >> Ma'am, can we stop walking >> here? If we go with them, we'll be separate from your dad. Can Can we Can we stop for a second? Can you stop walking? [screaming and crying] >> Where do you live? >> See what happens when you cry. >> Where do you live? >> Where can you stop for a second? Can you stop for a second? Is a baby okay? >> Can you Can you back up, please? Please. >> No, I'm talking to you. Can you Can you stop for a second? >> Yes. Yes. >> Is the baby okay? >> I'm not sure. >> You're not sure what what's wrong. We just we [music] I don't listen. Can I explain what's happening? Can I explain what's happening? >> Okay, I'm I'm trying to listen to you. >> The officer tried to explain that if she just stopped for a minute and explained what was going on, they would be able to help her. Instead, [music] she just turned around and started walking in the opposite direction. At that point, they decided to take the necessary steps to ensure the baby was unharmed. >> Can I see the baby? >> The baby hasn't woken up. >> Wait, wait, wait. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. She's sleeping. She's just sleeping. [crying] >> You're okay. You're [crying] okay. What's your name? >> You're okay. You're okay. You're okay. >> No, you don't have a gun. >> No. Can I step Can I step over here? >> You're not listening to us. >> We're trying to conduct an investigation and you're not listening. >> What's the investigation? >> Okay. We're trying to check for the kids. >> The baby's sleep. >> The baby. Their dad is at home. We have you calling saying they're concerned because the kids are walking barefoot. It's cold. It's raining and you're just wandering around. All right. So, we're trying to check up on the kids and you're not listening to us. >> All right. The baby's super cold. >> Okay. Okay. >> Have a seat. No. We're not We're not done here. You're not listening to us. All right. >> Wait. Have a seat in the car. >> Wait. Wait. Wait. >> It's warm in here. Okay. It's warm in here. >> No. I don't want to be I I don't want to be >> We're not We're not We're not done here. I don't want the baby to be too hot. >> The fact that the woman would rather have her children in the rainy and cold outdoors than in the warm police car was already a red flag. The officers tried to get her into the patrol car to warm the kids up. But that's when she really started resisting. >> Please, please. You understand me? Please help me. >> We I'm trying to just have a seat. That's all I'm asking. >> All right. Come on. Let's go. >> Is there a bus? >> There's a bus. >> Okay. >> No, there's a bus. No, no, no. Wait, wait. I'm just going to the doctor to make sure my baby is okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> We can call rescue for that. >> No, no, no. We got to be all together. Team team family. >> We're We're going to be together. >> Okay, everybody, let go and let me let me show you that we're family. >> I need you to sit down there. >> I need to be with her, too. >> What's wrong with that baby? Why isn't it waking up? >> Come over here and show that we're family and wake the baby up. [music] Wake the baby up. Wake the baby up. >> Wake the baby up. >> No. Wake the baby up. >> Super cold. >> You're okay. You're okay. >> I'm okay. >> We're trying to help you out. Okay. We're trying to help you out in the car. >> You have no shoes. Look, look at your feet. They're all dirty. >> Charlie, can you come in? >> No. No. No. >> We're going to help you out. >> No. Hot as hell. >> No, it's not. It's pretty cold and and it's raining. Is that good for you or no other girls? >> Let's go to her, Dad. The woman was clearly having a mental health episode, and she still had the baby strapped on. That's why the officers approached her as gently as possible, trying to prevent her from getting injured. One step at a time, they managed to unbuckle the strap. But once she realized they were about to take her baby, the woman really freaked out. >> No, no, no, no, no, no. >> Stop. >> Please, please, please, >> please. I don't want to be without her. Look, she said that she's dead. God has said that the baby was dead. So that's why I'm acting like this. Just come over here and save your sister. Save your sister IF SHE'S NOT DEAD. Save her. Save her. Save her. >> Okay. Come to mommy. >> No. She wants the breastfeed. She wants the breastfeed. Show that we're family. >> Show them we're family. Come on. >> Okay. Hey, are we all together? >> Are we all together? Touch your sister so I know she's not dead. Touch your sister so I know she's not dead. >> It's worrying to hear a baby cry. But in this case, it was a relief as it meant the infant was alive. As the officers attempted to get the suspect inside the car, she started screaming about breastfeeding, catching the bus, and even Satan. >> Ma'am, just have a seat inside. >> No, >> you're making We're a family. We all breastfeed. >> You're all together. Have a seat. >> No. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Can I go to the bus? >> No. >> Can they go on the bus? >> No. Have a seat. >> Please. Please. Please stop. >> Stop. Stop. >> Please don't. Cuz she thinks THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE COOCHIE. Think this is what's happening with the coochie. She thinks that Satan her listen >> what the >> Hey. Hey. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. My baby's right there. >> I need to get my baby to my daughter. >> What? >> I'm holding. Just go for it. I'm holding it. >> Okay. Wait. Wait. I'm dead. After she somehow managed to slip her cuffs and bolt out of the vehicle, the woman didn't get far. The officers picked her up and tried to get her inside the car one more time. Like before, the woman resisted and this time with violence. >> Goddess, they're going to me if I can't go to the bus. Wake up the baby. >> Wake her up. What I'm saying? Wake up the baby. Wake up the baby. No, no, no. Wait, she's scared about the poochie. Hey. Hey. If I die, what happens? Help. Help. Help. Daddy. Daddy. Help. Daddy. Daddy. Help. Help. Help. Help. You want to go with daddy? >> Let's go. >> Huh? >> Put something in my So I know it's okay. Put something in my so I know it's okay. >> Stop. >> Stop. That's it. >> Okay. Just put me out there so I know that my family is my family. Please. I just want to know my family is my family. Please. Let me just see my Let me see. Can I see my family? >> Stop. >> If you show me my family, I'll calm down. >> No. >> I'll calm down. Let you put me in the car. >> Instead of giving into her demands, the officers decided to cuff her legs. Once she was secured, the officers waited for fire and rescue and de brief them about the situation. DCF was alerted. The kids were taken to the hospital and the father was informed. >> Now, why did y'all take my kids? >> They needed to be We need to be checked out. >> What do you mean? >> Why have me run up here for you? >> Cuz we got to figure out what's going on. >> Then you could have came to me. What the You had me run in the rain for, bro. >> All right, bro. >> I didn't run out. I went ran over three miles to talk to you. I'm trying to figure it out. >> You could have did that over the phone on the radio, man. You should have had me run three miles and don't have my kids right here, bro. >> Look, I think you're mad at the wrong person. >> You can talk to me there. Can you talk to me there? I need to see my kids. >> I got you. [music] I got you. >> You got me. >> This what we put on body cam that I'm telling you that I have two infant children that you telling me that that that >> walked away. They didn't walk away. They didn't walk away. They're not competent. >> They didn't walk away. They have kids, >> but you're super big as well. >> Okay. You put that on camera. >> It's on here. >> You heard what? You heard what he just said. >> Exactly. To have kids. >> He just said your sister incompetent to have kids. A police officer just said >> Uh-huh. That's what's going on. >> No, bro. She had >> talking about Jesus and this is and that. >> Is that normal? Is that what people that are normal talk or or drag a little girl barefooted? Is that normal to you? The man tried to defend his wife, saying she had a mental episode, but the officer was right when he claimed that such a person should not be left in charge of children. In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with battery, resisting with violence, and two counts of child neglect. Losing a job can be difficult, and many people beg to get their job back. But some people resort to extreme measures, like Dustin Humphre for instance. On July 20th, 2024, he showed up at the Dodge dealership where he used to work, flashing a gun with a silencer. 2 days later, he came back, [music] and this time he brought more than just a gun. >> Mr. Hump. What? >> Yeah, he got it. >> What's What are we? >> Yes, sir. >> My keys. Keys. >> My grandfather. >> You got the corner? >> Yeah. That's my grandfather. release down. >> We'll put everything in here. >> All units 1039. >> I'll explain everything to you in just >> investigator Barry. >> Investigator Barry. >> Harry. >> Harry. >> Yes, sir. >> For who? >> Banks County. >> Nope. We're not banks. We're not banks. We're Jackson. >> Jackson, boy. >> All right. Come on. You're going to jail. >> That's right. I want to let you know. >> The Jackson County officers told Mr. Humphre that he was going to jail because of the incident from 2 days prior. Of course, he denied any wrongdoing, but the officers were confident they would find the weapon in his car. >> Um, any weapons in your car? >> It's his car. >> That's what I'm saying about any weapons of yours because I have a description of of a pistol. So, I'm going to go look in the car for it. >> Everything in the car is his car. >> I drive. >> Okay, cool. I got you. >> I was just You here. You're defending yourself. I talked to Banks County about this >> because they told me said we know about these people. >> All right. >> I told him several times at threaten my life. >> Okay. >> And they were trying to >> I told I'm asking people >> listen where you park the car at over here. >> Okay. His vehicles over here too. >> Is it on this side? >> After Mr. Humphre was mirandized, the officers started questioning him about the incident that happened on Saturday. Based on witness statements, they had a warrant out for his arrest for simple assault and carrying a firearm, but they still needed to find the gun, which according to witnesses had a taped handle. >> Uh Saturday when you came up here, >> what was said or what happened? >> Yep. Nothing was said. Nothing happened. You know, firearm in your on your hip or in your waistband. >> You never brandished it anybody. Never asked anybody if they wanted to fight. No. I was talking to you as a friend of mine. That's all I said. I was like, I'm worried about No, I'm okay. No. No. I didn't say that. >> You didn't say, "Do you want to fight?" You never branched a firearm. >> No. No. >> You never had a firearm inside your waistband in a holster and put your hand on it. >> No. I'm not talking about Jacob there. >> No, no. I'm asking do you do you have a firearm or do you carry one? >> You don't. >> Well, >> whale. >> Hey, thanks for coming out and playing there. LT would have been a quicker one. >> Good. Um, I understand you have a Hyundai Kona. Is that correct? Well, your your grandson is um is about to go to jail >> for some charges here in the city. We have your your vehicle over here at the Dodge dealership. Dustin denied carrying a weapon and refused to give consent for the search of his vehicle, but as he said, the vehicle wasn't his. It was his grandfather's. After the officers explained the implications over the phone, the grandfather gave them permission to search it. >> All right. Well, just just hang tight. Um, so we're we're going to be conducting the search and um we just prefer you being on the phone >> uh with us while we do it. Um, but there was there was an incident where Yep. where there was some I guess more or less some some threats or perceived threats being made uh by Mr. Humphrey. So, um the the business just called us to say that he was back up here. >> What is that? >> Oh, it's a baton. >> Yeah, >> I'm charging him. >> Uh I'm going to get me some gloies. >> Yeah, >> there's 22 bullets right here. >> Looks like pill containers. All the substances we found over >> we found marijuana. Marijuana pipes. Um methamphetamine pipes is what it looks like. None of that yours. >> No. >> Okay. All right. Oh, here it is. >> After first finding bullets and drug paraphernalia, it didn't take long for the officers to find the proverbial smoking gun. It looked old, worn, tattered, and very strange. And what they first thought was a holster turned out to be a homemade suppressor. >> Is that a holster? >> Yep, that's the holster. >> Quiet. >> Actually, no. That's a holster. >> Wow. >> Are you sure? >> Yep. >> Actually, that might be a suppressor. >> That's going to be >> That's going to be a suppressor. >> Yep. >> Wow. >> That's That's separate, too. >> That's a charge. >> That's crazy. I've never seen anything like that. >> Is that the one that you had the other day? >> No. Uh, yes. >> Yeah. T It's got the tape handle. >> I don't see a smiley face. Unless he >> the one that he kind of brandish. >> Oh, I know. Yeah. Yeah. I took the report. >> Is that it? >> That's it. Okay. >> I'm going to unload it. >> He did. >> That's >> You got good photos here. >> Yes. That is crazy. I've never seen anything like that. >> Yeah. That's uh No bueno. >> Uh that's green, >> right? apple. >> That's not apple. I don't know either. I'm not smelling that. >> As if an unlicensed gun with a homemade suppressor wasn't bad enough, things were about to get even worse for Mr. Humphre. Apart from the strange gun that had its serial number scraped off, the officers found more incriminating evidence hidden in the trunk. >> Who makes it? >> Uhoh. Uhoh. >> Uhoh. Daniel Streetaniel. >> Holy. >> You know what that is, right? >> Lay down on >> Yep. >> Wanted to show you like this is how >> this is serious. >> Yeah. >> I think he was coming up here. Like I said, I know they told me Saturday he was coming up here to see specifically >> and he was trying to start with two other guys. So >> I I'm unsure how we clear this. >> What's that? There's no mag in the well, but it takes Glock mags. I hung up on >> Well, just hit the What the heck is that? >> What is that? >> Signal blocker signal. >> The ATF will probably want to take this over. >> So I just going to let you know what we found. Like I said, >> you picking up what I'm putting down. >> The officers were shocked by the amount of weapons they found and quickly realized that this could have gotten serious had they not acted, but they hadn't finished the search. More surprises awaited. >> Any idea what this is? >> You think he's maybe a targeted individual? >> No. >> He thinks this is blocking That's different than >> possibly. >> Yeah, probably. >> Maybe a little little TI home. >> Oh. Oh, well. >> I'm going to put it down. Thank you, Lieutenant. >> He's got Assassin's Creed. >> Hey, here's a Molotov. >> Ah. >> Oh, that's okay. >> That's it. Yep. That's going. That's another take picture. >> That's another charge. >> That was The wick was sitting next to it. >> Okay. >> I didn't see I didn't see the wick. Green Jack Daniel. Well, that's >> we saw that. I said, "Is that apple?" Here, take that. >> The officer eventually opened the bottle of Jack [music] Daniels. The moment he sniffed it, he realized it was gasoline, the primary ingredient of a Molotov cocktail. Mr. Humphre could claim that he never would have used any of these weapons. But why have them in the first place? >> I think I think uh kudos to you guys for being vigil. >> Every knife, every Everything in there. >> Yeah, that's a weapon. That can be weapon. >> It's a budgeoning object. >> It's a unless >> All right. So, what charges am I adding? >> Screw it. What you got? >> Possibly two stolen guns. >> Don't know if my serial numbers on, >> right? >> So, possession of fire times two. >> Well, the serial number is not there or they've been scratched off. >> Just want to bring this out right now. If you would put in for this location, >> no record on this one. >> Temple. >> It just says Keltech, Coco, Florida, sub 2000. >> 220. >> Nothing. >> Good. >> Good. >> Oh yeah. Point it toward one or the other side. >> I feel better if you pointed it toward me. >> Either way. I don't want to point toward either one of those. >> I can lose a little weight. Dustin continued to claim that everything in the car was his grandfather's, but it was hard to believe. In the end, he faced multiple felony charges, including possession of firearms, a homemade suppressor, and a homemade explosive device. On March 23rd, 2024, a deputy working an offduty shift at a local Wind Dixie store was alerted to a possible theft in progress. The suspect hadn't taken much, but she decided to do something stupid that made her situation worse than it needed to be. >> Hi there. How you doing? I don't know. Let me see your seat you got there, honey. >> H920. All right. So, what we're doing here, you can tell me after I don't know yet. >> No, YOU JUST DID. DID JUST TURN AROUND. >> Turn around. >> You just did. My son is in a car. I'm not going to run from you. >> You just did. >> Can I show you? >> The suspect insisted she wasn't trying to run away and claimed she only wanted to move to the side. But the moment that deputy had to chase after her, even for a few steps, her fate was sealed. >> I was trying to move to the side. >> You just did, >> mama. I was going to the side. >> I just did. I don't care. If you turn around and you run, you're running. Do you understand what that looks like? I just want to >> So you're going to go to the side. All right. You have to go to the side. >> Can I call I go to the side? >> No. We're over. >> So now I'm going to charge you with resisting. >> I was just going to the side. >> No, you didn't. >> Do you understand everything that happened? >> But you saw that I joged. I moved over. You >> joged. I was jogged. I moved over. All the people. >> I got you. Let's go this way. So even if you weren't going to go to jail, you are now. >> Damn. I went to the side. I didn't know. >> Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. Anytime somebody next to me, you going to have to jump after them. They going to jail. I take my off my baby. Jesus Christ. Please. I went to the side. The officer was too experienced to be fooled by madeup excuses. She didn't pay any attention to the woman's please and proceeded to Mirandise her. However, somewhere along the way, it was clear she felt for the young woman and hated having to arrest her. >> If you decide to answer questions now, I'm so upset with you. If you just lost my >> you have the right to talk to an attorney before we ask you any questions and have an attorney and have an attorney present during questioning. If you decide if you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you at no cost before any question begins. If you decide to answer questions now, you have the right to stop at any time and consult with an attorney. Do you understand your rights? >> No, ma'am. >> You weren't just going to the side. >> You weren't. You weren't. I'm not. Ma'am, I'm no dummy. >> Listen, I've never I was not You have Let me ask you, have you ever been to jail before? >> Then guess what? You wouldn't have gone to jail today. >> You wouldn't have gone cuz you would have gotten the notice to appear. >> Do you understand that? >> But you turn around and try to take Yeah, of course I do. >> So, do you have anything else on you that I need to be concerned about? >> No, ma'am. Listen, mama. >> Ma'am, I don't have time for that. Despite her personal feelings, the officer remained professional. While patting down the suspect, she found more incriminating evidence. It was by no means a big ticket item, but evidence is evidence. >> What's in your pocket? >> I have lettuce. I can say, mama, but I >> So you So you have lettuce in your pocket. You didn't pay for that either, right? >> No. >> Okay. Anything else that I need to be concerned about? >> Anything illegal on you? What is What is your name? >> Jamaiah. What's your last name? >> I have a son. He's with somebody right now. >> Okay. Are you wearing a bra? >> Jama I that part I don't understand. Everything else you said I do. >> You call my rate. Can I call my auntie while I'm back in please? She can know what's going on. >> Have a seat. Have a seat. [laughter] Have a seat, mama. Have a seat. >> She stole something. >> Yes, sir. Once the suspect, Jamaa, was secured in the squad car, the deputy returned the stolen item to the store to be itemized for the report. By the time she got back outside, another officer had arrived to transport Jamaa to jail. >> All right, Heather, sorry, I got a little bit of lettuce here, too, that she had on her. >> Okay. Yeah, that's the bag that's tied up. That's the one that >> Yeah, that's what she took. That's the one. So, if you What I did is itemize out. >> I already got you. We going to get on zoom in. Thank you. >> Well, she see I was pulling up next to that hole. >> Yeah. >> All right, M. Go step out here for me. Okay. >> All right. I'm going to search you this time and I'm going to search you. Make sure you don't have anything on you again. Uh, I'm gonna ask you just be clear. Make sure that you have nothing else on you. Nothing that's gonna because once you get to jail, if you get to jail and you have something on you that's concealed or anything like that, it becomes a felony. Do you understand? Okay. Go ahead and turn around for me. >> Where's the tissue at? >> I have it in my hand. >> Okay. Okay. >> My phone, my keys. >> I'm going get it. We'll get it. Just come over here. Okay. >> Say Say again. I'm sorry. Um, you wipe my nose. >> The man outside the store entrance earlier who asked if she was stealing was actually Jamaa's boyfriend. Apparently, he wasn't part of the theft, nor was he aware of it as she was being placed in the squad car again. She asked the officers to call him so she could give him her phone and keys. >> We're releasing your keys to your boyfriend. Is that correct? >> Yes. >> Okay. I just want to make sure. I don't want to stay on camera. >> Yes. Is this her only property? She had the phone. Okay. >> They said she wasn't there working. What were the thinking? >> I didn't It didn't It wasn't She stopped thinking. I didn't run from her. When she asked me, she told me to put my hand. I moved over to where we were. I wanted to go where the flowers at so everybody would see who you was. I didn't even her hands was never even off. So to say I resisted I can't out run you. I don't work out. I'm not >> she get in charge here. Sir >> petty theft and [music] resisting without violence. So both are misdemeanors. All right. What I was telling to her, [music] what I was saying to her, I wasn't here when originally this happened, right? But here's just just a word of advice. Hopefully this never happens again, right? It's not a big deal. It's a misdemeanor charge, okay? It's not going to end your life or anything like that, right? You're going to be out tomorrow, okay? The male officer could tell that she wasn't a career criminal. She just made a stupid mistake. [music] So, he tried to put things into perspective and make the otherwise traumatic experience a little bit more manageable. Still, he ended with a warning. But >> hey, here's the deal, right? Hopefully, there'll never be next time, okay? I don't I think you're a good person. I don't think this is like a common thing for you. Clearly, you've never been arrested before, right? Okay. But here's the thing. If you if you mess up and you slip up and you do something like that and then the police come up to you, don't resist, okay? Don't run. Don't do anything like that cuz then it just it ties her hands. I was telling her this earlier. >> Resisting mean you're trying to leave. >> No, it's called it's it's a four statute. It's resisting without violence. That includes running, pulling, bracing, everything. I've called it three times. You can get it for whatever they want. >> It's it's it's when we have a lawful reason to detain you, right? Which we do. If you're stealing stuff and you do anything that we tell you not to do, that's resisting. Okay. Um, the groceries that you got, you pay it with Apple Pay, so they can't refund it back because it's Apple Pay. So, do you want him to go out and get the groceries, too? >> Are you good with getting that? >> Okay. So, I want to get the receipt for the groceries she had. They're going to gather up the items again, and then I'll make sure you get it. Okay. >> Jama was taken to jail and booked for petty theft and resisting an officer without violence. On February 4th, 2025, Valuia County officers were dispatched to a local lake after reports of a boat spinning in circles. There appeared to be nobody behind the wheel who could drive the boat to shore and no rescue boat immediately available. So, for the time being, the officers had to stand there and watch. >> I'm kind of curious as to why it's like bogging and then it goes and then it bogs. >> It looks like there's looks like there's water. It's like We're trying to see if we got access over. >> Okay. >> Where's your guys's closest boat? >> Uh, it's coming from Daytona. >> Yeah. >> Ours is going to be >> both units on a freaking BLS medical call and they can't get >> Okay. Do you guys have >> Oh, do you guys have a uh have a drone? >> No. No. >> I just got off the phone with the lieutenant from squad 35. Looks like central broke them free. They're calling ahead of them. >> Copy that. People coming on scene. They're advising they got >> Is that like private property on it? >> As the officers were contemplating a way to get a closer look at the boat, reports came in there was actually a person on board. That made the situation much more unnerving, not knowing if [music] the person was alive or hurt and in need of medical assistance. They said that it looks like there's one person on board underneath the steering wheel. That's what they said. They said, I don't know if you saw the call notes, but I swear to God, there's somebody in that boat. >> Yeah, it said he said that per the call notes, it said that there was somebody on on there was one person on board, but it was they were tucked up underneath like the steering wheel. One alpha 22 central Florida photo tag. I'm sorry, sir. It's going to be an Illinois tag. >> Were you guys on that boat? >> Somebody on it. Not us. >> There's somebody on it? >> Yeah, it looks like it. Yeah. Officers started checking the parked vehicles with boat trailers, looking for the owner of the runaway boat, but several of them followed the shore through a forested area, trying to get closer to the boat. Once they got there, they tried to contact the person on board. >> Hello. Hey. >> Hey, sir. crashing over here. >> Hey, >> see like his mirrors moving so it like jerks the most. >> That motor is probably getting close to to bottoming out too. As shallow as it gets toward the shore. I He probably fell on his head. >> He's down in there now. >> Yeah, >> he's moving a little bit. Yeah. >> Well, I'm talking about in the boat. >> In the boat. He's moving. He just moved his leg. >> It was a complicated situation in which a person was obviously in need of assistance, but there was nothing the officers could do except wait and watch. The encouraging thing was that the man appeared to be moving from time to time. >> Do we have a boat? It's >> on his way. >> Okay. Just like y'all is >> about sticking his arm up now to be moving on the boat now >> cuz I don't care. I'll jump on the boat and I'll go out there and jump over it. >> Yeah. Well, that's what we're waiting for our boat to get here. We'll be doing that, too. >> All right. We'll see who shows up over near. >> All right. >> The one day Blaine's not working. She's like, I'm not going to it. Darn it. >> His head is underneath. I can't see his face at all, but his right arm is moving. Hey, sir. Yeah, man. >> Um, no, I don't need your stuff. Uh, listen. Uh, we got a medical emergency out there. >> Can we use that? Can we use your boat? >> How about I tell you? >> Come on. >> Yeah, >> I appreciate you. >> You launch it. >> All right. >> Before the Good Samaritan's boat was put to use, the river rescue team arrived. They quickly launched their boat and the scene was set for a daring rescue attempt. But it was not going to be as easy as it seemed. Hey, see if we can get close with the hook. >> All right, >> let's do pushing him into the shore. Well, the I don't know if I'm going to be able to correct his steering because it's so hard cranked over, but give me a second and I'll try. The only I mean, we got that other big log right there. >> The officers debated their options. Jumping in proved to be more difficult than it first appeared. They also contemplated releasing the throttle, which seemed to be caught on the man's foot. Steering the boat to shore was another option, but that carried its own risks. >> Can you get on the inside of them? >> I recommend you, >> but it's going to be tight. >> I'm okay with >> you. Put him on the inside step out. >> Hey, the next time he comes up around here, just go up and force it into the woods. >> Let him go around again. And as he comes around, let's just come up next to him and push him up to that tree. Heat. Heat. >> [music] >> Hey, just Hey, Chase that boat. We'll transfer it. >> Yeah. >> Hey, we're going to take him by boat back over there. >> With a swift reaction, one of the officers jumped into the boat and shut off the engine. The boat operator was still lying unconscious. He was breathing, but obviously needed medical assistance as soon as possible. Yeah, I got I got >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Here. >> We got a log right in front. >> Throw them in now. We got that seat off. Tony, >> we can throw them in real quick. Yeah, >> I'd rather >> on the deck up in the front. >> You got it. Set. Watch. >> I got you, buddy. I got you. Go ahead. Right here. Just take CPR. We need to We got medics right there. No CPR. >> Hold on. Hey, >> stay with me, buddy. All right, stay with me. Can you hear me? >> Yeah, they're breathe for me. >> As he was being transported to the shore, the man was still unresponsive but alive. He was transferred to a stretcher and taken to the hospital and it was thanks to the joint effort of the first responders. >> What's your middle name, bud? >> What's your middle name? >> Perfect. >> Yeah. >> Do you remember the last thing? Do I remember what >> last thing that happened? >> I was at Lake Das. That's all I remember. I was coming in on my boat. >> Just want to make sure we don't have to contact the family member that's here in Florida now. >> No, I'm good. I'm by myself. >> Okay.
