It's my [ __ ] yard. Can you beat me? Can you beat me? >> How'd she get beat up? >> How'd she get beat up? >> Yeah, she beat the hell up. >> Where is she? >> Well, she ain't here. >> She got into it because she said that I was [ __ ] somebody else. Why are you worried about me [ __ ] somebody if I just lost my granddaddy? I don't want to know nobody. >> Not every marriage is a happy one. Behind closed doors, years of resentment could turn into something far more brutal. In many cases, husbands violently abuse and bully their wives to establish their dominance. But things end badly when wives finally have enough of their narcissistic husbands. >> Talk to me like a child. You can't even raise to Can't you watch over my daughter? Girl. >> On January 13th, 2025, the police responded to a domestic abuse call. The officers were dispatched to a private residence. Upon arrival, they spoke with the husband, Ryan, who according to the report, had been repeatedly abusing his wife. >> I'll get my shoes. >> Well, you can just just tell me what happened. >> Nothing. I'm just Nothing. I've had rough >> I understand. So, what happened tonight? >> Nothing. There's ain't been nothing physical. Nothing >> Mhm. But what was >> I'm just >> Upset? >> I'm upset that nobody listens to me. And I >> Yes. >> I'm just upset. >> Okay. >> So, I get I get what you guys have my thing. I know nothing. If you called you, you had to come, so you're taking me in. I get it. Do I have to go to jail again? >> Yeah. >> It's just because there was a thing before. I mean, I said no. There was no violence. There was nothing. I'm not I'm just >> It wasn't the first time Ryan had acted aggressively toward his wife. That's why he knew he was likely going to jail. At the same time, the other cop was with the wife in the next room. She explained what had made her call the police for help that day. >> Well, he's been he's been acting like this all day like yelling with me on and off. I called his mom. I called his dad to back me up because he was just calling me coward, calling me all kinds of names. And he was like, "I'm taking the fan off because that's mine. I'm taking the TV off. That's mine." It just [music] just outrageous. I could not Sorry. I could not handle it anymore. >> Uh-huh. >> And then his mom and dad was yelling with him telling him to knock it off. Go get some help. He needs mental help. And he's not willing to get it. He's an alcoholic. He's not willing to do it. He's not willing to get a He's not doing therapy. Nothing. And I cannot handle that that >> [music] >> mental abuse anymore. And it's affecting my kids. I can't do it. He's crying constantly. Just he's just >> But drinking a lot? >> Yeah. >> He had Yeah. And that's why I told him he needs to cut down drinking. >> [music] >> I told him you can have those little teas, you know, the alcohol tea because it doesn't have much alcohol in it. I said you cannot drink that 14% of alcohol because you get really mean. >> The wife clearly could no longer handle her husband's problems on her own. And he had become a burden not only to her but to the children as well. Outside the room, Ryan also opened up about his own issues and that visibly upset him. >> Most of that was stuff and like I've had a lot of medical issues and I've just I'm I'm sorry. I'm not being mean. I'm not trying [laughter] to. I'm just upset. I mean I know it. >> I know. Are you Do you still have your gun at your house? >> Yes, sir. Yes. >> What do you think all happened tonight? Like it sounded like you got a little upset and [snorts] what happened at What What happened when you got upset? >> Nothing. And so, yeah, when I went was going to go to work, I went to the doctor and I have to have a scan of my body for cancer and stuff and I got upset. >> The wife complained to the officers that Ryan had slammed doors, yelled at her all day, and called her names. Then, right around the time she and the kids had gone to bed, he had thrown everything out of the freezer. So, the officer asked Ryan about that. >> What happened like here tonight? The reason why she called. >> Just because, yes, I was I'm just I don't know. I want somebody to feel like they I'm dealing with so so much stuff right now and I feel like nobody cares and I'm I don't want to get arrested. I didn't do nothing like that and if I need to leave, I can leave, I guess. I go to maybe a buddy's house, but I I'm just sad, man. >> Where does your buddy live at? >> I can text him and they live right back here. >> Okay. >> Right back on the corner of the park. >> Physical? >> No. No. No. No. No. No. Well, unless No. I didn't Nobody got any She didn't either and I will tell you that. It was not anything like that. It's just >> Was it just be Was it verbal? I mean >> Yeah, both of us. Yes. >> Just What was being said between you two? >> We can't find the common ground when it comes to stuff. >> The wife explained how many people had tried to help her husband, but he refused to accept help from anyone, including his own parents. The last option left for him was jail. The officers had made their decision, but Ryan clearly didn't like it. >> I think we're going to have to take you to jail tonight. >> Okay. All right. >> Yeah, and then I'm going to fire. >> Do you have anything Do you have anything you need to [snorts] go to the jail? Like phone, wallet? >> No, that's going to help. Dude, there's nothing that's going to help. Can't I just leave, please? Please, can't I just leave? >> We'll take you, all right? At this point, you are under arrest. So, can you stand up? You want to turn around? Just want to check your back. We're going to check nothing in your pockets. >> No. >> Do you live here or do you just stay here? >> I live here. >> Okay. Nothing in your pockets I should know about, nothing that will poke me, stick me, stab >> But I this happened I mean we had a thing that happened before and so it's yeah, I'm all up on it. I know what's going to happen. I'm screwed up. There's nothing on me, sir. >> He [snorts] just got to check. It's policy. I appreciate you being cooperative. >> I am cuz I just >> You want to get your shoes on so you can walk outside? >> I don't stairs. >> The suspect was already out on bond which made his situation even worse. The officers escorted him out of the house and placed him in the patrol car. After that, they explained to his wife what was going to happen to her husband. >> So, he's going to have um $1,150 cash bond and he'll be on a no drink bond condition. Um he's not going to be able to come back here. So, he'll be in unless someone can post that for him. Do you think he has that much money? >> He doesn't but his dad bailed him out like when he had the issue before so I don't know if they're going to I'm going to call his mom. >> Well, I mean I can't make a decision for you but he also might benefit from sitting in jail for a little while too and you know >> I know that's why I mean he might going to lose his job, you know, sitting in jail but I mean >> Well, it's nothing you guys have to deal with. You shouldn't have to deal with it. >> Yeah. >> Call if you want me to clear with your ride along guy. >> Sounds good. >> [snorts] >> He's got a ride along tonight so he's just sitting out in the out in the car >> [laughter] >> staring out the windshield so I'm like yeah, let's get him out of here. >> Yeah. Yeah, I appreciate it. >> The officer asked about the specific things the suspect had yelled at his wife. It turned out she had managed to record him during one of his abusive episodes the previous evening. So, she let the footage speak for itself. >> Let's find out what he said. >> What's about the money? >> Uh-huh. >> Make sure I don't take the $300 out of our joint account. >> 2:00 >> I didn't even say a word. He was just rattling on and on. >> Ryan was transported to jail. He was charged with domestic violence as a repeat offender. He was given an $1,150 cash bond and placed under a no drinking bond condition. On March 1st, 2026 in Illinois, a troubled woman called 911 saying her husband was destroying their home while she and their 8-year-old daughter were inside. He also possibly had access to a gun in the house. When the cops arrived, the suspect agreed to leave voluntarily but returned shortly afterward and continued arguing with his wife. >> And so, you went back to your bedroom and started yucking [ __ ] around and yelling. That's when I literally said, "Oh, we're going to throw [ __ ] then instead of talk." >> I tried talking multiple >> You tried blaming me. >> No, I did not. Not once. I said what I said. The only blame that I did was last night whenever you said that I did not have a fever, and where I obviously did. >> I know. And I obviously made a joke saying my 99 was a fever. Just joking with you. >> know how all of that turned into this. >> Because you started throwing and getting pissed off cuz you wanted me to cuddle you instead of get coffee ready or whatever the >> I just wanted >> I literally got you medicine ready, made you coffee. No, I'm not going to sit there and >> back there for an hour by myself. >> We haven't even been up for an hour. >> I got up since midnight fall. >> I got up before you. Laying there in bed waiting for you to get up. You know, doing your thing like you just said, trying to hold the room for you. >> Hey, you can hang out for a minute. I got to wait for an Uber. >> It's not a problem. >> Yeah, it's fine, man. Like I said, we just don't want this to escalate. It's already bad enough. >> why it even going as far as it did. >> The couple continued arguing in front of the child. The man, Justin, was angry that his wife, Lexi, had called the police. He believed she was to blame for the whole situation and wanted to make that clear to the cops. >> Lexi, you [ __ ] raging about the house all morning. >> I was up for like an hour. >> You did You did >> raging. I wasn't even upset or yelling. I started laundry and went back to the back bedroom. >> Yeah, you're right. >> Hey, that's how I captured all of it. That's how I got away with >> [snorts] >> I get that. Remember when I cleaned the floor? Right. Now your mom's here, Lexi. They called. Why did you do all that? >> Huh? >> You didn't even answer them. >> Do you see you? Did you see what you did? 60 bucks to get to your mom's house. >> Really? 60 bucks? >> Lexi, stop. >> What? >> What do you mean, what? Why on earth did we end up here? >> I don't know. >> No, you do know. Why on earth do you end up calling all them and calling your mom? >> The fact that Lexi had called her mother made her husband even angrier. Now Justin kept throwing that in her face, but his anger was still building. And when the officer told him to calm down, that only made him even more furious. >> No, you you you threw a bunch of [ __ ] around and then started to accuse my wife. >> Justin, we're done, man. >> No, we're not. I'm talking. >> I SAID WE'RE DONE. >> I SAID I'M [ __ ] >> YOU'RE IN MY HOUSE. >> I DON'T GIVE A [ __ ] YOU. >> YOU'RE DONE. YOU'RE ABOUT TO GO IN HANDCUFFS. YOU NEED TO LEAVE. >> FOR WHAT? >> I'M NOT GOING TO STAND HERE AND ARGUE WITH YOU. I TOLD you to leave. >> I AM IN MY HOME. >> YOU ARE NOT GOING TO STAND HERE AND >> I CAN TALK TO MY WIFE ALL I WANT. >> YOU'RE DONE. YOU'RE GOING TO LEAVE. >> NO, I'M NOT. >> You're going to go. >> This is my house. >> You need >> This is my house. >> IT DOESN'T >> MY HOUSE. I EXACTLY. SO GET THE [ __ ] OUT OF THERE. >> THAT'S NOT >> BUT YOU CALLED THEM. THEY CAN LEAVE. NO, BRO. We're leaving. >> Sir, do >> I'm trying to I'm trying to say >> swear up like that. >> Then don't start up on me. >> Don't do it. >> Why did you do this? >> Don't do it. >> WHY DID YOU NO, BRO. LOOK, I'M NOT LEAVING. >> Come back in here. Really? >> Yeah, you're in my house. >> The officers showed patience toward Justin despite his hostile behavior, but he was crossing every line and becoming more and more disrespectful toward them. And very soon, [music] all of that backfired on him badly. >> I've asked you to come back >> telling you I ain't going >> You were in her face screaming. >> I'm not in her face screaming. >> You need to go. >> No, I don't. You already told me 2 seconds ago this is your guys' thing. I'm getting my [ __ ] >> And now you're not listening to me and I'm trying to stop YOU. >> CUZ I DON'T HAVE TO. >> LEAVE. >> NO, YOU CAN'T TALK IF I WANT. >> NO, I DON'T. >> THEN PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND your back, you're under arrest. >> For what? For what? >> hands behind your back. >> For what though? >> WHAT AM I I SAID PUT YOUR [ __ ] HANDS BEHIND your back. >> Come on, man. Are you serious? >> I'm dead serious. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Now. Now. >> Stop. >> I have my back. I can talk >> Talk with her. >> You guys are up my ass. >> Don't grab my hand, dude. Unbelievable. >> Exactly. It is unbelievable. >> Stay there. >> Come on, dude. I'm working >> to fix it, man. >> Come on, dude. That's killing me, man. >> What's killing you? >> I'm trying to double lock it, man. I'm locked in, man. >> [laughter] >> I don't want it to cinch up on you if you move. You don't want to get inside. We're on your side. >> Justin received a very quick punishment for his arrogant behavior. Lying on the ground, he was still furious at the officers. [music] Even in handcuffs, he kept insulting them and refusing to cooperate. >> You [ __ ] get up. >> I'm walking. >> I don't want you to walk. I want you to turn around. >> I already did that. >> No, I checked you for weapons. Now I'm searching you. >> Right. Like I told you before. Cuz I'm not a criminal cop. >> Will you stop >> tell you to [ __ ] move, [ __ ] Stop turning me around, DUDE. >> THEN QUIT TURNING AROUND. >> I'M NOT TRYING TO TURN AROUND. >> WE DON'T WANT you to. >> We said to stand still. >> Stay there. Do not move. Simple instructions. >> Stop resisting. >> Simple instructions. >> Why are we going through this? You're in my house, where I was talking, >> Put your hands. What did I say? >> Then what did I >> Stop turning around. >> There's no reason for you to be acting this way. [music] >> No reason for you to act this >> There is. You're in my house telling me what I CAN AND CAN'T >> STOP. STOP, DUDE. STOP MOVING. IT'S NOT THAT HARD. >> Maybe if you were pinned against the wall, you would understand what >> still and let >> off of you. >> I would stand still and let us do our business. >> You want me to get off the wall against the wall for what? >> Cuz you can't follow a simple [ __ ] instruction. >> of here. THERE'S NO INSTRUCTION TO BE GIVEN. I'M IN MY OWN HOME. >> Stand here. >> I am. >> That's the instruction. >> Justin complained about being held up against the wall. However, the officer explained to him that his unpleasant situation had been caused either by the cops [music] nor by his wife, but by him alone. Still, he kept obstructing the search. >> You watch me put in for YOU. >> STOP TURNING AROUND. >> Why can't I just look at you when I speak to you? >> I don't need to see you. I can hear you. I've seen you enough. >> I've seen you enough, too. >> Yeah, I bet. >> I know. Take one step back. >> No. >> You're stalling. Now walk backwards. >> I was trying. >> Walk. Walk. >> Can this come off? >> What? >> This is the bag. >> We'll get the bag off. >> Like it can just stay and we don't need to bring it into the >> I'll leave it here. >> Okay. >> Come on. >> Try and get it off. What is What you got? >> It's my phone, man. Quit pushing me. I can walk. >> I'm not pushing you. >> You are pushing me now. I know how to walk. Stop. >> I'm not pushing you. >> You are pushing and you can stop. >> You can walk. >> I am walking. >> Will you stop? >> You quit showing your Put on a [ __ ] show. >> Who's putting on a show? >> You. Look at you shoving me. God. >> Damn. You have me cuffed. I can walk. >> Take a step back. >> See? I'll listen without all that [ __ ] Can you get that off? Here. I'm not going to go anywhere. Not running. Confirmed. >> No, you're not running anywhere. >> The officers finally got him into the patrol car. After that, they returned to his family to explain to Lexi what was going to happen to him. They also comforted his daughter who was worried about her father. >> How long is my dad going to be gone? >> I'm not sure, sweetie. >> Will they let him call us? >> Probably not for long, okay? He'll be okay. Uh, I got this for him. So, he's going to be going to the jail. He's going to be on a hold at least [music] until tomorrow. He'll see a [snorts] judge in the morning and he'll probably be released. So, I'm going to leave you with some paperwork like I discussed. But, like I said, this isn't going to get any better. >> [music] >> It's only going to get worse. So, however you go about that is your business. But, just keep that in mind and I'll leave you with some paperwork, okay? >> Justin was eventually [music] transported to the county jail and served with misdemeanor complaints. He was charged with [music] two counts of resisting or obstructing a peace officer and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. On October 29th, 2025, police responded to a domestic battery incident. A man named Pierre had allegedly been abusing his wife and her son. A squad was dispatched to the address and soon the cops were knocking on the suspect's door. >> 95174, do we have a name? >> Here is police. How are you? >> Can you open the door, please? Can you open the door, please? >> Hey. How you doing? >> You're Pierre? Your name's not Pierre? >> I don't understand. >> Pierre? >> Yeah. >> Pierre, okay. What language do you speak? >> French. >> French. I will speak French. Do you understand what I'm saying right now? Okay. So, where's your wife? >> She she left with her a >> She left with your son? >> No, by her son. >> By herself? >> yeah. >> Okay. What happened? >> Do you want water? >> Yeah, sure. Thank you. Seven four, one seven twelve with the male house. >> Out on the street, the officers were met with the 71-year-old victim, Danielle, Pierre's wife. She was giving her statement to the police. At the same time, her son was also there, and he wanted to complain about the abusive suspect as well. >> He is a massive fat guy. He is working with lonely people in the front. >> No, I I >> Is it just you three, or there are children? >> No, I am 6208. >> 6208. >> Yes. >> So, I work >> Can you sign here? >> Yeah. >> You're staying the night here. >> I I was in with my two kids in the 6208, and my mom was also in the 6209. >> Just write your first and your last name right there for me, please. >> And I work in the the guns industry, so I cannot have any violence. >> Yeah, yeah, I know. I know. I hear you. I hear you. >> So, then I need a cigarette. I will just go outside. >> All right, you got it, buddy. >> Pierre was clearly causing problems for his family, but the most affected of all was his wife. She had left their home as a result of the incident. To get a fuller picture of the situation, officers also listened to Pierre's version of events. >> So, what happened with uh with your wife? She left? Why did she leave? >> Wait. Yesterday, we have we had uh a problem with his son. >> With her son? Okay. >> And he's a bit You understand? >> He's disabled? >> I >> You're disabled? >> Okay. I can work. >> Okay. >> work. And uh he knows that I'm disabled. fun. Yesterday no the day before he I I I I asked him to park the car in the disabled place. And he didn't want he wanted to park the car under a tree to get shade. >> To get shade? >> No no. >> Okay. According to Pierre, the argument had been started by Danielle's son, but the clear victim was his wife. She had a visible injury on her face as a result of the domestic battery. And while it can be difficult for any victim of abuse, she needed to recount what happened to the officers. >> And you're from Belgium? >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. >> He already attacked me when we were in Belgium and I thought he understood that it was not the way to behave. And I had police cons make make a >> report >> Okay. >> a report and now it's my second and I hope I will have a easier divorce. >> Okay. >> And maybe we need to explain that 2 days ago he lost his mind with me. >> Yes. >> And on the parking of a Walmart >> Yes. >> off my shirt >> Mhm. >> because I didn't park in the parking space >> him to to park. >> And he is mad. >> He's got a little history of violence, okay. Danielle, I'm going to take a picture of your face, okay? I'm sorry, okay? I'm going to try not to light up your face, okay? At the same time, the officers continued questioning the suspect inside his home. [music] According to him, however, he was the victim and his relatives were the aggressors, especially Danielle's son. >> You're upset and then >> I was when you're upset >> Mhm. >> And uh >> [snorts] >> I said to him he was a bad guy. He was very excited. >> Mhm. >> And he run to to take me. with He said over me He hit me in the face. >> So he left his jaw. >> Yeah, and he said I am very strong. And if you do that, I will uh smash you. >> Then Pierre laid out another version. He stated [music] that the dispute had begun after his wife attempted to adjust their air conditioning unit, and he told her to leave it alone. That, according to him, had led to the [music] couple shoving each other. But according to what Danielle told the officer, it had been more than shoving. >> All right, Danielle. >> [music] >> Um >> Yes. >> So what was the what was the fight regarding? >> Um we we we had dinner tonight together. Everything was fine. >> Okay. >> When we got home the the air conditioning is next to we have a twin bedroom. And the air conditioning was next to our bed, and he said uh and I said we will put the beds on the the the bed next to the air conditioning because we're froze, and sleeping in the other one. And I said, "Put it on the bed." He said, "No, never mind. The The girl, when she comes, she can make the bed." I said, "It doesn't matter because it's a twin bedroom. She will make our bed, and she doesn't care on how the bed looks under the our suitcase." And he threw them on the floor. And I said, "You're always right. I can't say anything." And then he >> Okay, he was angry, but then >> Yes, he was angry. >> Apparently, her remark that he always had to be right had angered Pierre. Up to that point in Danielle's story, there had only been a verbal argument. Now the officer wanted her to explain when and how the physical altercation had started. >> When did the physical stuff start? >> Uh he went and and pushed me and said I I I do what what I want and you're the you're the woman, you just shut up. And I said, "No, no, it's not like this. We equal." And and he pushed me and >> So, how did he hit your face in your mouth? >> Because I defended myself and he came to me and he hit me in the face. >> Okay. >> And then afterwards I pushed him on the floor because he's disabled and I run away to my son's room. >> Okay. Did he hit you with like a fist or did he hit you with >> Like this. >> Like this? >> Yes, it was not a fist. I don't know to remember, but I lost my glasses and I'm hurt on the face, so I don't know what happened. >> Okay. >> It was so so quick. >> Yeah. >> I don't remember. >> Okay. All right, thank you. >> There was some blood cuz when I left the room >> Yes, uh yes, uh uh uh uh uh >> was like >> Yeah, the rescue probably cleaned it up. >> There was blood on her face. >> Yeah. Okay. Thank you. >> After hearing her story, the officers had already established [music] who the primary aggressor was. They told Pierre to get dressed. After that, they escorted him outside the building and proceeded with the arrest. Despite being disabled, he somehow managed to resist. >> Go. Walk over there. Right here. Right here. There you go. All right. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. You're under arrest. Stop. Stop. Stop. Okay, relax. You're making this difficult. Stop. Stop. I know you're not relaxed. I'm telling you to relax. I need you to relax. >> I'm moving. I'm moving my leg. I can't relax. >> We'll put you on. Stop. All right, stop. Stop moving. >> Stop moving. Stop moving. Stop moving. >> you're disabled. You need to stop. >> All right. Now, listen. You're going to go have a seat in the car, okay? We got you. We got you. We're not going to let you fall. Have a seat. Okay, sit down. And this way. Sit down. Have a seat. Come on. Have a seat. >> I'm moving. >> Okay. >> I'm disabled. >> Okay. Don't pull on it. You're going to hurt yourself. You keep pulling on it, you're going to hurt yourself. All right, don't pull on it. Hey, we got a watch. A cell phone, $40 in cash wrapped around his little card thingy. [music] >> In the end, his fall story didn't hold up. Pierre was charged with obstructing without violence, a first-degree misdemeanor, and battery on a person 65 years of age or older, a third-degree felony. On April 22nd, 2024, the police responded to a call from a private residence. A man was reportedly causing a disturbance outside the house. Soon, the officers arrived on the scene and met the stepson of the alleged suspect. >> That is my stepson. He got called for it. >> Okay. Okay. Were you there just now? >> Uh I was there when he got there and I left when my mother got there. So, if if you need the parts to where I was there, I'll tell you and then she'll tell you what she knows. >> Okay. >> My mom called me and she was like, "Go make sure everything's all right. Go make sure Cody isn't in the house." Cuz she called him and she knew he was drinking heavily. >> Does Cody live there? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> It's not a good They're not working well. They haven't been working well for a bit. >> He ends up getting home and he's so drunk he's not able to drive home. One of his work buddies drove him home and as he's getting out of the truck, he straight up fell out of the truck >> Okay. >> onto the ground. >> inside now? >> I don't know. I My friend just dropped me off because as soon as my mom got here, I got in his car and I was like, "I I don't want to be >> Okay. Nothing between you and him at all or nothing like that? >> No. No. I >> Okay. >> After hearing what the boy had to say, the officer approached the house and they stumbled upon a disturbing sight. The suspect was lying completely motionless in front of the door. It was hard to tell whether he was even alive. >> Hello, sir. You doing all right? >> What >> Huh? >> You. >> I've done nothing to you. I'm just making sure you're okay. >> You. >> Police department. >> Police department. >> Yeah. >> [ __ ] you, man. [ __ ] you. >> Huh? >> You piece of >> I've done nothing to you, sir. I'm just trying to make sure you're okay. >> You [ __ ] pig. >> Okay. >> [ __ ] You [ __ ] god. up. >> Well, you passed out on the ground. I got to make sure you're okay. >> you you're doing a good guy, right? >> I'm I'm trying to be. >> Get the [ __ ] out, bro. >> Okay. >> Get the [ __ ] out. >> Okay. >> Okay, get the [ __ ] out. And talk to me when you want to talk. >> Well, I want to talk to you now. >> want from me? Talk to me. >> I'm trying to talk to you. >> Well, then shut the [ __ ] up. >> Okay. >> Shut the [ __ ] up. You got to have peace to be, man. >> The drunk suspect threw a torrent [music] of nasty curses at the officer, who on the other hand listened with admirable patience. Then the cop asked why the suspect was so angry at him, which agitated the drunk man and led him to stand up, but it didn't mean he would stay upright. >> Well, what did I do to you? No, no, no, no, no, no. Don't do that. >> Do what? >> Don't do that. >> I'm standing up. >> Huh? >> Standing up. >> Well, I don't want you to fall. >> Stand up, drunk. >> Yeah, I don't want you to do that. >> Yeah, you got to have peace, bro. >> Okay. >> You didn't even have hair growing on this side. >> Okay. >> Look. I'm not mad at you. Back up. >> Okay. >> You need to shut the [ __ ] up. Back up. I asked you a question. Shut the [ __ ] up. >> I haven't said anything to you. >> I need to talk to you, little girl. You need to shut the [ __ ] up. >> Wow, that's quite a mouth on you. >> Hey, hey, you need to shut the [ __ ] up. I don't need to hear you talk. >> Okay. >> You're a little girl. You're a peasant. >> Okay, if I'm a peasant, what does that make you? >> The suspect said he wanted the police out of his yard. However, when the female officer asked him if it was really his yard, the drunk suspect once again reacted furiously. This time, he didn't spare the female cop from his curses, either. >> Oh, this is my yard. You You think I'm going to just lay in somebody's [ __ ] yard? Get the [ __ ] out of here. >> Hey, that wouldn't be the first time I found somebody laying in somebody else's yard. >> I'm sure it ain't. >> I know it really isn't, sir. >> I'm sure it ain't. Get the [ __ ] out of my yard, you little Get the >> Hey, there's no need for that. >> You do. >> Hey. You can stay on the ground. >> Look. Look, dude. >> Do not >> Look, dude. >> You're going to >> Get the [ __ ] out of here. >> If you touch [clears throat] >> I didn't COME TO YOUR >> IF YOU TOUCH ONE OF US, you're going to go to jail for battery. >> I didn't [music] come to your >> So, why don't you sit down? We'll you hurt yourself. Ooh, get up. Go figure. >> Despite the suspect's insults, the officers remained focused on the job. They wanted to identify him, but in his condition, it was difficult to say whether he could even remember his own name. >> Oh, this is my guy. What's your first name? What's your first name? >> What do you mean, what's my first >> your name? Say that. >> I just fell OUT OF THE GROUND. Mother That's what you do. >> Yeah. >> What's your first name? >> Yeah, cuz I want to talk to you. >> What's your first name? >> I want to address you as sir. >> What's your first name? >> Officer. My first >> Officer, what? >> You're going to try to touch me? Again, you'll go to jail for battery. >> What is this a first name for officers? >> Okay. >> What's his first name? >> I want to know your first name so I can address you as sir. >> My name is Cody. >> Cody. Okay, Cody. Listen. >> What's his first name? >> Listen. Listen. >> What's your first >> We talked to Officer Davis over here. >> You nasty dare to wake >> Okay. Talk to them, Cody. >> Dude, you [ __ ] little >> You got to walk to the drunk, right? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, we want to make sure that you're okay. It's all right here to just make sure you're okay. All right, there's no need for all hostilities. >> Oh, really? When y'all came pulled up on me. >> We're not hostile. Got to make sure you're okay. >> Yes, you got to prove something. [music] >> Right? You're sleeping in your car. We've got to make sure you're okay. All right, go ahead. >> What's up? What's up? >> All this unnecessary, right? You got cops at your front yard. We're just going to make sure you're okay. >> What's your name? >> Officer Varner. >> Varner? >> Varner. Yes, sir. >> Varner? >> Yes, sir. >> All righty. I like it already. >> Cody kept asking the officers for their names. The female officer didn't respond to him, which also clearly triggered him because only seconds later he started making offensive gestures and throwing ugly insults at her. >> What the [ __ ] are you saying, though? >> That's what I'm saying. >> What the [ __ ] are you saying? >> Highly intoxicated. Sleeping in your car. >> And I have no respect for you. You got that? >> Congratulations. >> Will you please answer Officer Davis? Sir. >> Officer Davis. What the [ __ ] you got to say? What the [ __ ] you got to say? >> Soon, the suspect's wife showed up at the scene. She asked the officers to make her husband leave. She clearly didn't like the idea of sharing the house with him, especially in his current condition. >> What? He's just drunk. >> And it's not a crime to be drunk in his own house. >> So, he can stay there? He can I mean, he can go inside. I don't want him inside. >> But he lives here. We can't stop him. >> I know, but I can ask him to pass back [music] out. >> Okay. I can't leave him passed out outside cuz we're going to keep getting calls. >> So, can you lay him on the trampoline outside? >> Meanwhile, Cody hadn't calmed down at all. He kept showering the officers with insults. The alcohol seemed to have been some sort of liquid courage for him. He had somehow convinced himself that he was intimidating and the officers were scared of him. >> And she's a [ __ ] >> They're just doing their job, too. >> Cody, stop walking towards me. >> I live there. >> Get a new job. Get a new job. >> Sir, I guarantee I am not scared of you. >> You ain't scared of me? >> No. >> I'll [ __ ] you up. >> All right, be my guest. >> You think you're God? It scares me. >> You ain't >> I'll [ __ ] him up. I'll [ __ ] him up. I'll [ __ ] him up. Y'all ain't scared of nothing, y'all. >> Okay. >> I was [ __ ] sleeping. >> I'm probably going to get a neighbor complaint. >> He passed out face first and he >> Yeah, who gives a >> I do. >> I was sleeping. >> walked up and seen you laying. >> Y'all ain't Ain't nobody can take me. You can't take me, buddy. You can't take me. He can't take me. And damn sure Your little can't take me. >> Okay, you need to stay back. >> You need to slow down. >> You're being very disrespectful. You're being very disrespectful. >> I called the police. >> That's the problem. >> Keep calling the police. I'm sleeping on my [ __ ] yard. It's my [ __ ] yard. >> He passed out in the front of >> Can you beat me? Can you beat me? You damn sure can't. >> Everybody saw you laying. All right, Cody, they're all >> He said, "Nobody's here to do anything. We're all here just trying to >> I sleep on my [ __ ] yard. >> Talking to the cops like that wasn't smart. Cody had already been walking on thin ice ever since they arrived, but the officers were losing patience with every insult and Cody was one small mistake away from going to jail. >> [music] >> And it didn't take long for him to make it. >> It's my [ __ ] yard. >> YOU NEED TO BACK UP. I SWEAR IF YOU HIT ME, YOU'RE >> your [ __ ] yard. It's your yard. You can't do [ __ ] to me, buddy. >> You're not that close. >> Yeah, I said right. >> All right, now you're going to go >> Yeah, on the >> On the ground, NOW. >> [ __ ] >> OKAY. >> YOU CAN STAY ON THE GROUND. That's what you can do. >> No. >> Run. >> Move your ass, Selvin. >> You keep your head down. Let go of my hand. One, two, three. There we go. Pat him. Um, just pat him down real quick before he does anything. >> You got anything on you that's going to poke me? >> So, just let's go lean against the car. Yeah. >> He's good, besides the keys. >> Have a seat for me. >> girl. >> Watch your head. Watch your head. Put your question against it. Put your question >> You can't tell me what the >> Cody was charged with a felony count of aggravated battery on an officer, a felony count of making threats against [music] an officer, disorderly intoxication, and resisting arrest. Six weeks later, he was arrested again for domestic battery and had his bond revoked. He spent 29 days in jail for both incidents, [music] but avoided any further punishment as part of a plea deal. On July 7th, 2025, officers were dispatched to a residence regarding a report of domestic battery. A physical dispute had broken out between a couple where a husband allegedly pushed his wife off the bed causing visible injuries. According to the report, the suspect, Kevin, had also threatened his wife with a hammer. >> Did you take her phone? >> It's my phone. It's my account. Like I pay the bill. She doesn't >> I understand I understand it's marital property. >> I don't get to legally. >> But you technically But why would you say >> I'll give the song back. Like I realized after the fact there was the emotional heaviness of the moment. >> Yeah. >> You know what I mean? Like I don't want to escalate things. I want peace in life. I just want to go separate ways, you know? >> Okay. >> I wasn't the one that wanted to involve the police. We didn't get to that point this morning. She's just insane. >> Okay. This So So this morning, what had occurred exactly from your point? >> Okay. And then it was just back and forth kind of arguing. >> You said you're going to cut this out. >> Yeah. >> Then what happened? >> She basically said no. Asked if she was going to leave. She said at first yes and then no. I went and took a shower, started to get ready for work. Asked her if she was going to leave. It started to kind of get loud and obnoxious again. She went for her old phone. I saw her calling 911. I was like, I want no part of this. I was like, I'm out of here. And that's kind of how it went. >> The wife claimed that things had gotten physical at some point. She complained that Kevin had endangered her by the bed. So the officer confronted Kevin about the alleged physical abuse. >> She's saying she was laying in bed, there was you came in wanted to start >> bed and there was some yelling, yes. But like there was no physicality to it. >> Okay. Did you flip the mattress? >> I did flip the mattress, yeah. >> Okay. And then she said she like had fallen >> She wasn't in the bed when I flipped it though. So that's not true, but whatever. >> Okay. She's saying she was and then she kind of fell onto the ground. >> That's not the case, but not during our argument at that >> Okay. And then she said that you had started like grabbing at her. >> That's just not true. Again, I stepped away and realized that it was going bad and that's when she reached for the phone that I know she had her old phone. I saw her dial 911 and that's when I was just like, I don't want no part of this. Like this is I just wanted to leave. I don't want any escalation. I don't seek any retribution. Like I just want to live my life, you know what I mean? I want to go to work today. >> Yeah. I get that. This aspect He playing innocent, but he skipped over one crucial detail in the story, the moment when he had swung a hammer at his wife. He probably thought the officer didn't know anything about that, but he quickly discovered that wasn't the case. >> Was there a hammer involved in this incident? She's saying that you had come in and raised the hammer. >> Hammer like there was there was no threat of violence like >> She's not saying you threatened her with it. She's saying that >> violent person like there was never >> a hammer ever involved as far as >> There's a There's a hammer that's on my dresser, but I did not How was it Was it like It's just vague. >> Okay, you didn't walk in with it in hand. She's not saying you hit her with it. She's not Okay. So >> come out of her room and I was standing in the hallway and the hammer's right there off to the side, but I didn't reach for it like I didn't even >> Was it ever in your hand? Okay. So, she's saying it was kind of like you would come in, yell at her, and leave. This was kind of back and forth for 15 minutes or so or >> accurate description, yeah. >> an hour or whatever it was. >> About 15 minutes. >> Yeah. Um just then she said she tried turning on the air conditioning cuz you took her fan saying that you paid for the fan. >> I mean she broke the air conditioner, so it makes this up and that just noise when you turn it on. >> Yeah. >> So. >> But again, I'm I'm actually arguing that point with you guys. >> The officers continued asking their questions. [music] They were informed that during the altercation the victim had been injured. Kevin denied all the allegations of physical violence, but he still needed to explain the visible physical injuries his wife had, which no amount of lying could conceal. >> She does have a few injuries like some some cuts and some scratches. Do you know how that would have happened? >> nothing like that. I did not touch her whatsoever. >> She's claiming that that was from when she was on the ground and you were grabbing at her. >> I'm not grabbing at her like there was yelling. It was just yelling. That's all it was. There was no physicality to it whatsoever. >> Okay. I'll be honest with you. Um we don't have a choice in these matters. When there's injuries and I know you're going to deny that it happened, but she's saying it did happen. So, I got to place you under arrest right now, okay? >> a quick phone call? >> Yeah, yeah, you you can you can make all the calls you need to make. >> I don't want to ask one question. 944 >> That's comfortable enough for you? That is. >> He was placed into the patrol car while the officers went to his house. There, they spoke with his wife. She was still agitated from the incident, so they let her know that her husband had already been taken into custody. They comforted her and explained [music] what steps she could take next. >> All right, there's information on here how to get orders of protection. There's the contacts for them. They're going to reach out to you, too, cuz they'll get the report and then try and contact you to give you resources or advice or anything, okay? >> So, like he actually admitted to it? Like >> I mean, he didn't admit to the physical part, but you have injuries. That was So, he can deny it all he wants. We're obligated by law to make an arrest at that point. >> All right. Thank you very much. >> Yep. >> I appreciate it. >> Is there anything else we can do for you? >> No. >> Okay. >> All right. >> All right. Good luck to you. >> Thank you. >> Yeah. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> Kevin thought denial could work, but his wife's injuries [music] were truer than his words. He was transported to jail and was charged with domestic violence. On September 23rd, 2024, police in Massac County, Illinois, responded to a report of domestic violence. A woman had told officers that her husband had badly beaten her the previous night. Soon, the cops arrived at the address and tried to contact the suspect. >> Sir, it's the sheriff's office. Open the door. Hey, Sheriff's office, open the door. Hey, how's it going? Come out here and speak with me real quick. >> How's it going, bro? >> So, what happened out here tonight? >> Tonight? >> Yeah, or this morning. >> As far as >> As far as you and your old lady getting into it. >> We got into a argument, man, but >> You got in a big old argument. >> Yeah, we got into a pretty big argument. >> Okay. How'd she get beat up? >> She got beat up? >> Yeah, she beat the hell out of you, bud. >> Where is she? >> Well, she ain't here. But I spoke with her. I'm just trying to get your side of the story for right now. >> Well, well, where did you go, man? She's been lying to me for a long time, man. >> There had clearly been a complicated dynamic between the couple that the police weren't familiar with. But the officer was there to determine whether domestic violence had occurred or not. The suspect had visible injuries on his hands, which the officer quickly noticed. >> Show your hands, get up. Huh? Show your hands, get I explained the [ __ ] out of this. We got into a huge argument last night. She kept lying to me and just screaming at me and [ __ ] I slammed the [ __ ] fridge in here. Okay, and the handle is broken. The plastic part is broken. I can show you. >> Okay. >> Let me put my knee in it. Cut me in the knee. It's right here. Uh, one point in time, we were going at each other's face. [ __ ] I shoved her into the dresser. [ __ ] I don't Yeah, man. >> Okay. >> Uh, I mean, I don't know. Like every time I I keep her, I keep telling her like, you know, you know, I promise you you can do whatever you want. >> Right. >> It's just a matter of like continually like looking into my eyes and like lying to me. You do whatever you want, you know what I mean? But while I'm out here alone with no phone all day and like all day I'm like and I'm cooking her breakfast in bed and coffee and then telling her like I'll just leave. I'll just leave. >> Okay. >> The suspect was shifting all the blame for the incident onto his wife. He believed she had been constantly lying to him. But what he didn't know was that the officer already had information about him. It turned out the man had a criminal background. >> Where are you paroled to? >> Huh? >> Where are you paroled to? >> Paroled? >> Are you on parole still? >> Okay, so it's it's that's like So technically I'm on parole. >> Okay. >> But it's in a state to where it's like a mandatory whatever you get out of prison you have a mandatory even if you've done all your time and it's not really like supported even by DOC >> Mhm. >> to the point to where like they will not like >> So they wouldn't violate your parole? >> No, no, if they if you if you want to stay in that state, you have to you know what I mean? You have to do your parole in it. >> Okay. >> But if you don't want to stay in that >> And which state is that? >> It's Oregon. >> Oregon? Okay. >> The suspect told the officer about his time in Oregon. It turned out he had been sentenced to [music] 3 years there. He then described in detail the unusual situation that had led to his arrest in the western state. >> I was biking the 101 >> Mhm. >> and I was biking the 101 and I wound up like in a bad it was a it's like a tour highway tourist highway and I was biking the 101 and I wound up in a bad position who who Mhm. Mhm. Okay. >> How long you been out for? >> Um few months. >> Few months? Okay. So, they're not going to violate you or anything for being in the state of Illinois? Nothing like that? >> It seemed pulling out the victim card was his go-to move. The suspect sentence in Oregon may have expired, but now he was on the verge of getting a new one. >> Well, this is the deal This is the deal for today. >> Got to go. >> Okay. You got to come with us. Okay? >> Okay. >> So, we can do it super simple. I'm going to put some handcuffs on you. We're going to throw some shoes on you. We'll go and get you some shorts, and we'll do it that way, okay? >> Can I have a cigarette before we go? over >> can do that. >> Please. >> Yep, we can do that. >> Okay. But first you got to turn around and put your hands behind your back. I'll get you the cigarette. That I promise you. I'm a man of my word. I'll keep my word, okay? All right, turn around and put your hands behind your >> I can't put my hands behind my back. >> Well, we'll help you with it. Put your hands together like you're praying. They They normally double cuff you or they normally single cuff you? >> They double my arms though. >> No, I got big cuffs. Yeah, see? We're good. Do you understand what's happening? >> I'm being placed under arrest. >> Correct. Do you know what >> I'm being placed under arrest. >> Correct. >> That's what I was >> I'm going to lock these so they don't tighten up on you. >> Okay. >> Okay? I can get two fingers between. This is Massac County in Illinois, okay? >> This suspect responded calmly to the arrest. [music] It seemed being cuffed wasn't something new to him. But there was another thing he was concerned about and he cautiously gathered the courage to ask the officer. >> Sir, can I ask you one more >> Sure, go ahead. What's up? What's up? >> My medicine and I got like medical card. >> What kind of medicine you got? Is it a controlled substance? Weed? >> Cannabis cannabis. >> They ain't going to give you that in jail. >> No, I'm saying you can't I when you get >> No, we can't smoke we can't smoke no weed right now, okay? Fair enough. >> Yes, sir. >> I'm a You want to come in here and get your stuff? >> Yes, sir. >> There ain't nothing in here that's going to poke me, stick me, bite me, shoot me, nothing like that. You're the only one in this trailer. Okay. Just want to make sure. >> Are my dogs in there? >> Nope, she's got the dogs. >> I don't know why she's She's saying that >> Come on, Bubba. Well, I'm going to be I'm going to be a hundred with you, okay? She got She got the hell beat out of her, okay? I mean, she's rough shape. Where's your pants at? >> Um Uh well maybe in that closet. >> the closet. >> I'll I'll you what, just have a seat right here. We'll We'll get you We'll get you hooked up. >> Yes, sir. >> What about your shoes? Uh these your shoes here? >> Uh those right there. >> Those right there? >> Yes, sir. Those skate shoes right there. >> The officers were kind enough to look for the suspect's clothes so he could at least be more presentable when they take him outside. They also entertained his questions. It was the type of courtesy that wife beaters should never get, but he was lucky the officers were patient with him. >> Here's just some shorts. >> Am I going to be charged with domestic battery? Felony or >> Uh in the state of Illinois, a domestic battery is a misdemeanor. Can you stand up for me? >> All right. >> Which shoes you want right here? >> Skate shoes right on the bottom of the floor right there. All right, have a seat. >> And the thing is is after this is all said and done me and her done, you know what I mean? >> Okay. Well, so >> done >> They're going to get They're going to tell you, you know, all the rules and regulations and all that and whatnot, you know. >> at is what I'm getting at is what I'm getting at is what I'm getting at is make sure I mean I got some brown pants. >> Well, you'll be able to with an officer to get all your stuff, okay? We can't move you out right now. As soon as you get out. >> But that's going to be what, months, right? >> No. >> No? >> No, you'll see the judge. >> You know, with my history I got a mad history, y'all. Like my my jacket is >> History don't matter. >> All right. >> We're going to get your fingerprints signed there. There you go. >> Up to that point, the suspect was pretty calm, but that quickly changed when he suddenly became very tense and nervous. The officer, however, wasn't affected by that and responded in a firm manner. >> I'm in charge. Just let me go on my way. Let me get you. >> Well, so >> You understood my situation. I've been trying to be good. >> when you shoved her When you shoved her down, where where did you shove her down at? >> Right in here. >> Right in here? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> And I don't know what I don't know what along the her that I can show you like where I cut my if you grab that handle right there, sir. That yeah, you grab it. Grab it. You feel that? You feel the right there? Yeah. That's what happened to my hands. It This is >> That one's kind of being difficult, isn't it? All right. Just have a seat right there. Where's your cigarettes at, bud? >> There's one right there. I don't know where my pack is. That right there. >> This here? >> Yeah, straight. Yeah, man. >> I told you I'm a man of my word. I told you I'd let you smoke one. I'm going to let you smoke one, but we ain't going to sit here all day, okay? There you go. You smoke that while I finish doing what we're doing here. >> The suspect was transported to Massac County Jail and was charged with domestic violence. On October 24th, 2024, police responded to a report of a possible domestic battery. A man had reportedly beaten his wife during a family argument. The officers were dispatched and soon they spoke with the female victim. >> Do you guys know anyone named Tequila Howard? He brought them here. He took the girl and brought her over to my sister's house where me, my sister, and my baby and I got up cuz he was I mean, we play like that, but he was choking me like talking about to leave you da da da da da. So, I got up. When I got up, he got up. He tried to leave. I grabbed his phone and came down the stairs holding telling him to calm down. My sister said y'all need to chill. That ain't what he did. He tried to grab his phone from me and he bit me in my face. He bit me in my shoulder. All of that. And then he took off and left. >> Okay, and then he went and got these people? >> He went and got these people. I don't know what exactly he did after that. I know she called my phone this morning off of her phone. No, you're not in it. She called my phone off of her phone like, "Where you at? I been hearing you all night. Where you at?" I said, "I don't I ain't telling you where I'm at. If you need the location, get it from him." He gave her the location and they was here under 10 minutes. >> The battery wasn't the victim's only complaint. [music] Tequila claimed that her car had been damaged by the suspect and his relatives. So, the officers wanted to know more details about that. >> Okay, so when you said that they were busting your tires, which car is yours? >> My car is the black one over there. >> Okay, is it damaged? Is it damaged? >> I don't know. >> How do you know these people? Do you know >> These are my husband's family members. >> Okay. >> That's my husband. These are his family members. >> Okay. What is >> So, Odyssey, he did this to my face and my arm. Because he's talking about HE'S SITTING UP BRO, YOU YOU TOLD ME TO COME OUT HERE. WHY WE EVEN GRABBING? >> This is my home. >> Okay. >> I don't know what you guys have to do to de-escalate this situation, but she has a baby in there. >> I do have a baby in there. >> to her child. >> Okay, so is the swelling on your eyes from last night? >> Yeah. >> Cuz he >> He bit me in it. He bit me here and he bit me in my eye. >> Okay, so he started choking you during It escalated too much. You got up. >> He lost his papa yesterday. So, everybody was drunk. He was already irate. >> Okay. So, did you hit him at all or anything like that? >> No. >> Okay, so he bit you on your shoulder and your eye after he choked you. >> Yeah, cuz I had a swollen ear. >> Okay, and he didn't hit you, he just bit you. >> Yeah. >> It turned out jealousy was the reason behind the tension between the couple that had led to the battery. Tequila suspected her husband had cheated on her the previous night. When the officer spoke with the suspect, he clarified whether or not there was truth behind the cheating allegation. >> Man, last night my granddaddy My granddaddy died last night. >> Uh-huh. >> We was all at We was all at my auntie's house. And then we got back over here and dropped her off so she can go get our daughter. Me and her Me and her got into it. She took my phone, my grandma's phone. I left. Man, it was a officer that It was a call last night where the officer pulled up. But, he just ended up pulling off. So, I ended up leaving. I've been gone I ain't been around her since last night. >> Okay, so what did you guys get into it about? >> We didn't get into it about nothing. I lost my granddaddy last night. >> Yeah, but you said when you dropped her off, you guys got into it. >> into it because she said that I was somebody else. Why are you worried about me [ __ ] somebody if I just lost my granddaddy? I don't want to know who you know nobody. >> Okay. So, what happened? Like, did you like physically get into it or just verbally? >> it physically. I snatched my phone from her. I called my ride, which was my my sister and my brother. They both pulled up, two cars deep. They pulled up. And they And they pulled me off. But, they I grabbed my clothes and we drove off. >> The suspect denied beating his wife even though Tequila had serious injuries. He also stated that things between them were no longer working and that they needed to divorce. When the cop questioned him further, it turned out he already had a previous [music] domestic violence charge. >> I just literally you could say I just literally got out the county for a DV. Though, it was a old DV. >> Do you have any domestic violence convictions in the past? >> one. Yeah, I'll tell you. It's It's not even a actual conviction. It's a TPO. And that's on my ex to keep bothering her and bothering and talking to her, bothering her. That's what the girl is complaining about. It's her and my ex. It's not me. I'm not doing nothing. I just literally We just literally pulled up because her stuff was in my my auntie's car. Her stuff was in my auntie's car. She gave her She just gave her sister her sandals and all that. >> Is your auntie the girl in orange? >> Yeah. No, the one in green. That's the girl in orange. It's It's her sister, the one who lived here. I'm like I got I said I got pulled up. She She don't got She don't got the same number that I got from her or her phone. So, there's no reason I switched over for me car from her. She just switched her number. >> Okay. >> If If we got into it so bad last night and I put my hands on her, you supposed to call the police. And why would you switch your number? Tell me you're a hood. You shouldn't never switch your number. Right or wrong, you know I just lost my granddaddy. I'm not arguing with you. I'm not fighting with you. I'm not picking with you. But I need to leave from where you at. I need to leave from around you. I need to go around people that's going to comfort me. >> The suspect couldn't clearly answer whether his wife had already had a black eye the previous night when he left her. He only said he couldn't remember. It can be easy for anyone to dodge accusations, but when there are clear injuries, denial or lies won't suffice. >> Okay. So, you were saying that last night during I just want to make sure I get this right. He started choking you and went beyond the normal. >> Yeah. >> And so then you got up. >> Mhm. >> And he tried to leave. You took his phone. >> Mhm. >> And then he just was trying to get his phone from you and he bit your face and your arm. >> Yeah. I tried to get the phone It was over. By the time I tried to get the phone back, it was over for me. >> Okay. So, is it normal for him to choke you during sex? >> [music] >> Yeah, but not how he was choking us while I got up. >> Okay. What did he say while he was choking you? >> He said, "Bitch, you did this. You did that." I was drunk. He said, "Bitch."
