Like when police surprised entitled D and Dashers and chaos erupts. >> Yeah, I am good. >> I am good. the wrong with >> y'all. A female customer had allegedly ordered a lot of food and drinks and eventually refused to pay, saying she didn't have any money. Officers were dispatched and upon arrival they spoke to the uncooperative customer, Gina. >> Hello, ma'am. Officer ODM. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> So, do you got somebody that's going to take care of the bill now? >> No. Not no personal to you, but >> you got somebody that's going to take care. >> No, I got the Okay, let's go ahead and take care of that so we can go. >> They're closing. >> You're the last one in here. >> No, I'm not. Exactly what I was doing. >> Aside from refusing to pay her bill, the woman was also keeping the bar staff past closing hours. She clearly didn't seem bothered by that. [music] Soon it became clear how much Gina actually owed. >> Now how much is the tag? That's what I'm asking. She said 1896 >> 18963. >> Ma'am. Ma'am. >> It doesn't it doesn't work with tape. Man, you have to get somebody to pay or you going to go to jail. Simple >> you said. So, um going to pay somebody to pay tax. >> She She can't pay. The cops, on the other hand, told her she had been stalling on paying her bill and they were starting to lose patience. That statement irritated Gina. She lost her temper and that sealed her fate. rush to get me a >> No, you are too slow to pay your bill. >> What do you want to do? >> So, what do you want? >> Are you going to take care of the bill or slow? >> What do you want to do? >> Never slow. >> Okay. Chill. >> I did unlock the phone for you. >> You did not. >> I did. I did. I did. >> Come on. Unlock the phone. >> Gina remained stubborn and uncooperative. The officer still gave her a chance, saying that if she could get someone to pay, they wouldn't charge her with theft of services. That's when she thought of someone who might help. >> Call my bigger homie. >> I am. >> Oh my god. >> Mama. >> No. Call my brother in the military. >> Now, okay, let's get you in the car. Then we can make >> Give me a second. You need a second. >> Why can't you give me a second? >> Why do you need a second? Because y'all got these cuffs on my side as >> you search. They said NO. >> CALL MY BROTHER IN THE MILITARY. >> One of Gina's friends started calling her brother, who according to the suspect could cover the bill. As soon as he picked up, the female officer stepped in and took the phone to speak with him directly. >> [snorts] >> Hey, this is Officer Odum with the Hateville Police Department. Who am I speaking to? >> That's her. >> Hey, so we have Miss Gina in the back of our patrol car because uh she has a bill of $18,964. All we came for is just for her to pay the bill. However, she became very belligerent. We just need somebody to take care of the bill. If nobody take care of the bill, she's going to go to jail for multiple charges, including theft services. So, we want to get this bill taken care of. Can you help? >> 5 seconds. 1 2 3 4 5. Okay. >> Okay. No, no, no. I know. I know. I know. Okay. Is there any way that uh when you do get it, could you Apple pay it possibly to this number and she can go in and tap? Oh, he said give us 5 seconds. So, he probably calling somebody. >> Yeah. No, he >> Okay. Okay. We'll see. Got to wait. >> Officers spoke with Gina's brother for a while, explaining what would happen depending on whether he paid the bill or not. He turned out to be indecisive and slow, and the officers soon began to lose patience. >> Is he paying the bill or what? >> He paying the bill. >> Now, cuz we we got to we got to do it now or she going to go to Fulton. She going to be sitting there till next week. >> Listen, >> I don't want to go to I don't want to have to take her to Fton, but I'm about I'm about to. >> They don't want to take her, but they should be Yeah, we don't got time to be negotiating. >> The fact that No, but the fact that Jimmy keep going keep going. Most of them aggressive. >> Is he has she sent the money? >> I let her go if the bill just paid. >> I have her talk to my supervisor, but we got to work on what they got to come >> cuz she's talking to us. She gave me her information. about to tell them how much the bill is. >> 18963. >> No, the bill is >> He's sending a 190 right now, right? >> Send. >> No, they got they understand that. >> No, they got that. >> I understand that. >> The man tried to negotiate over the phone. He insisted that officers should let Gina go if he paid her bill. The officer, on the other hand, told him that wasn't going to happen anymore and explained why. She's not she's The reason she's not going to be let go is because she obstructed us. She was refusing to put her hands behind her back. She was causing all this commotion. She calling officer and stuff. That's not going to fly. Okay? So I I can't take those charges away. >> I have a oath to do do my job and that's what I'm doing. She take care of the the balance >> and we can go on about our day. I understand. >> We've been waiting for the last few minutes for you to send the money. It It was me. Yes, it was me because you was telling me you wanted to speak to her. >> Yes, it was me. I did. I I hung up the phone. >> It She has the P. So, she has the password now. She's fully able to get into the phone. We have what we need. I have her date of birth because she gave it to me. She was willing to give me that information. So, >> yes. Correct. and then she'll just go to East Point and she will only have tickets. >> Even though he said he would pay, Gina's brother never sent the money. Officers found that Gina had $166 in PayPal, which would have covered most of the bill. They then approached her to unlock her phone using facial recognition so they could attempt the transfer. >> Put her face on. >> Just put her face on it. >> He don't got to send no money. They going to accept your balance that you got right there. 16. >> They look y'all. Just put your face on it. >> Yeah, with PayPal you got to have a face. >> Say it again, bro. >> Did it work? >> How much you need? >> They'll take 160. >> They said they'll take 160. >> Let my brother speak real quick. >> How much exact balance? Look. >> Yes. 167. >> Yes. She just got it cuz she had 166 up there. Now she has 167. >> Okay. >> You talking too much. I >> No, I know that. >> No, your card is connected. >> I'm not trying to be rude. I'm trying to save you. I'm trying to say I'm going to 14. >> Your paper connect to your wallet. >> I'm not saying that, >> mama. Your pay connect to your wallet. >> I understand. All you got to do is look right here, sweetie. All you got to do is press right here. It's PayPal on there. >> Put the put the pen in there. >> One391. >> In the end, despite the officer's patience and efforts, the payment was never completed. Gina was taken to Fulton [music] County Jail and booked for disorderly conduct, obstruction, and theft of services. On September 25th, 2025, police responded to a call from a local restaurant. A couple had reportedly walked out without paying for their meal. When officers arrived at the scene, they confronted the suspects near the location. >> Well, did you not pay for your food and leave? >> No, he ran up on me. I asked >> But that's not what I'm asking you. >> No, I he he ran up on me and pushed me around all my stuff. >> You got your ID on you? >> No, >> he didn't tell you. I know. What's your social? >> So, you just left cray. >> Yeah, I just walked around. >> 13 on here. >> I'll be out with a mobile unit downtown. >> What? >> You take some stuff in there? >> No, I don't have no drinks in there. >> Anything in here? >> No, no drinks. Nothing. I have >> Well, don't go reach in first. Huh? >> Okay. Just try and untie it. >> You just smushed my candy bar. >> Those are mine. I bought those. I bought those, too. Can you unwrap this, please? >> Here, just take it off. >> It was interesting how the male suspect was eating the food he had stolen while denying the theft. One of the officers went to the patrol car and ran the suspect's information. At the same time, the other officer spoke with restaurant staff. >> Uh, well, we we verbally saw the other two car. What do you guys want? Um, >> talk to general manager because it was his incident with him. So, let us know what you want. So, my concern is that he has a bill left unpaid. >> Is that they printed that off, she walked out the front door, and then he went back to our grab and go, started putting more stuff in his carry out bag. >> What did he put in the carry out bag? >> Uh, two Mountain Dews, an ice cream, Snickers, a Pringles, [music] all that. >> He What did the Pringles can look like? >> It was a green one. I don't want it, too. I have >> Okay. Can you just give me another one? >> So, you guys want to do charges for theft or something or >> It would just be straight up that. Yeah. >> Okay. I'm just I'll get your information. I just want to contact the other officers down there so we know how to proceed. Okay. I'll be right back. >> I mean, if he wants to come and pay for it, >> okay, >> we'll let it go, but I don't think he has anything to pay for. >> Yeah, we'll we'll see. Okay. >> According to the restaurant staff, there was no doubt that the couple had dined and dashed. After gathering the necessary information, officers returned to the suspects and continued questioning them. >> Hey man, so officers talked to the people at Crave. They said you walked out with about $70 worth of food. >> $7. >> Okay, hold on. Hold on. Let me picked up >> Let me talk. You walked out with about $70 worth of food and then you went to the grab and go and you took some items out of there and didn't pay for it, too. That's also on by Craig. >> I did not. >> Okay. Where is that? Where is all this stuff at? >> They're going to give you the opportunity to go over there and pay for the food and what you took out of the machine. >> I'm saying where is it? Where's all this stuff at? >> If not, then they're going to >> Where is it? >> If not, then they're going to want to sign charges. >> I don't have the bag. Where? >> Are you going to go back and pay for the food? Yes or no? >> Pay for what? >> The food you make. >> The food that you're eating right now. The food that's in your belly. And then the to-go box. You got the food for your belly. >> It's still food. Where is the $17? >> I don't know what you set down. >> I don't know. >> You have two choices. Two choices. >> Two chopp. >> That's it. >> Or you paid for it. >> Your choice. >> A good. >> According to the staff, the suspects didn't manage to take all the food from the restaurant because their bag got torn. However, they did manage to take a pack of Pringles, which officers soon found. Ah, those are the Pringles that were taken out of the >> Oh, no. You're Pringles. You're Pringles. >> Oh, I didn't know there's Pringles. >> Yeah. >> Oh, >> those >> from the grab and go for the residents at the >> That building there's a a grab and go thing. You just grab them and if you don't pay for it, >> guess something goes off automatically. >> You got 70 bucks to pay for all this. >> I'm sorry. I guess whatever. All right. Well, let's let's box up your to-go. Let's go back and pay your tab. >> What did I tell you about littering? >> We got people coming down here for a marathon. We don't need litter with chicken bones. >> You can walk and chew your food. Let's go. I don't know. I know. >> Huh? >> I didn't know you were waiting. >> Yeah, waiting on you. >> Ain't nobody else here got me. >> All right, you can walk with us, too, until we figure this out. >> The restaurant staff had video of the suspects taking food items before showing it to the police. An employee calmly and briefly explained how exactly the couple had tried to carry out the [music] scam. >> I just so happened to be coming up the elevator when I see him putting stuff in the bag. >> I said, "Sir, you need to pay for that. You scan it yourself." And here. >> Yeah. So he scanned it and then just goes, "Oh, she has my card, >> right?" >> So then I walked with him up here. I walked him to the front, kind of kept myself in the way of him just starting. So then we made the corner. I just went to the back to take that back and it ripped and all he got was the wings. >> Okay. >> But like I said, >> yeah, if you have >> It's the rest of that bill that I >> Right. I got that. So um if you want to like upload that video and like if there's a a video of the grab and go area, if you find that, just upload that to the link I send you. Okay. I'll talk to our building maintenance. They have a security or cameras in there, but I probably have him on camera just putting it in the bag. >> Okay. >> It turned out that both suspects had been on a dine and dash streak that day. The man's shirt gave him away and it raised suspicion among the officers. They quickly connected the dots and everything became clear. >> Hey, were you at the Wendy's earlier? >> Yeah, you're uh I was need to inform you, you are banned from there. Do not go back to the Wendy's on market. Yes, sir. >> You're on a rampage today. The goofy shirt gave it away. I forgot about that. >> So, if if you go back, you will be arrested for criminal trespass. All right. >> I'll watch some videos. >> It was earlier today. We got a call about someone going in there using used cups to get use their soda machine wearing a burnt orange goofy shirt. >> Not me. So, I'm just informing you that you are banned. >> Copy. You're not seeing any alerts. Showing that he's banned from the grave on B. >> What you doing? >> Oh, he's call today. >> The couple had clearly spent the day stealing food from restaurants. The officers gave them a chance to pay for what they had taken. The response they received from the couple made them act decisively. >> You're not paying. >> Oh, man. All right. >> Oh, okay. Stand up. Simple. >> Fluttering. >> All right. Stand up. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. >> Oh, great. >> You going to play? >> No. What's that? >> Task force. >> Part of what? >> The task force. >> Who is? >> What do you mean? >> I'm part of it. Working with them. >> Okay. That has nothing to do with this >> in the park. >> Okay, that's fine. That has nothing to do with this. >> Okay. >> That doesn't get you out of not paying your bill. >> You walk all the way. >> You walk all the way here. All right, we're going to >> Whatever, bro. Whatever, bro. I'm not I already told you. Give me one second. >> I got you. >> The couple was taken to a jail and eventually charged with theft. It would be in their best interest to find a more legal pastime [music] than looting restaurants. On October 4th, 2025, police responded to a call regarding a Dining Dasher. According to a bartender, a male suspect had left the restaurant without paying a tab totaling over $93. Officers surrounded the area and quickly located the suspect walking nearby. >> What's going on, bud? How you doing, bud? >> Can I see your other hand, please? >> What's up? >> Come over here. Where you come from? >> The hotel. >> Okay. You weren't at a restaurant or anything like that? No. Why? What do you mean? Okay. So, I got a put your hands back for me. >> All right. Cuz right now, you're going to be detained. Okay. >> All right. Sorry. >> All right. So, >> what is this? >> I don't know. Hold it up. >> Oh, it's part of your belt. What do you have a wire as well? >> Because I lost my >> All right. You don't got an ID? >> Nope. I just want to get my credit card to pay my tab. What's the problem? >> Where's your credit card at? Huh? >> Yes, there is Oakland. >> You're far from that, but >> very far from there. >> The suspect tried to clarify his intentions, but the officers didn't believe he intended to return and pay the bill. They placed him in a patrol car and returned to the restaurant. There, they briefly spoke with the manager. It turned out the suspect recently caused trouble in a different restaurant as well. So, I'm on the phone with Bonefish. He did the same thing at Bonefish last night. >> Okay. >> I don't know. Can you guys take him over there as well? Is that something that you want to do? >> Did you guys reported it last night? >> That's a Bonefish. Did you report it last night to the police? >> He says no. They just ate the chocolate. >> But he's been doing this all around town. >> Okay. Um, I will have to find out with my >> Probably his credit card is stolen, I would think, because the night before, I guess a couple nights previous to that, he came in and left like a $125 tip on like a not $125 check. >> Okay. >> As the manager hadn't been present during the incident, the bartender identified the suspect, saying he matched the man who hadn't paid his bill previously. At the same time, the suspect kept trying to convince the officer that he was going to pay. >> Babe, I have the ma'am. I'm sorry I didn't see back. But yeah, obviously I have the money. >> You get there and you're like, I don't have >> I'm not going to jail. I have plenty of money. >> This is so embarrassing. >> Baby, I I'm sorry, ma'am. I literally gave her my number. I said >> I did tell her that. I literally said I'll be right back. I could show you the text messengers and I look like a freaking [ __ ] >> Oh man, I'm so embarrassed now. >> He gave the police a name that didn't come back in the system, so they had to identify him first. He continued insisting he planned to pay once he got his card. The officers didn't believe him. Then in the next moment, he did something he would regret badly. >> You have a picture of your ID or something? >> Yeah, it's in the hotel. I literally just said that. >> Okay. You're >> N you're going >> I didn't do anything. >> Stop. That's not I didn't do anything. >> YOU'RE HOLDING IT FOR NO REASON. I didn't do I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. >> I DID NOT do anything >> traffic. >> I didn't do anything, dude. >> I didn't do [laughter] >> the lab kitchen. All right. Get off me. >> No. No, no, >> I'm not even on your neck. >> Get get his arms up. >> All right, >> got him. >> The suspect was read his Miranda rights. He was placed in the backseat of the patrol car where he once again tried to play innocent. The officer reminded him that dining and dashing wasn't the only crime he committed that day. >> I did nothing wrong though, man. >> Okay. >> I tried to pay the tab, bro. >> I'm sorry. Listen. So, we've tried running you three different ways. You've given us your name. Obviously, you're lying about your name. >> I'm not. >> I'm really not. >> Where do you have a driver's license? >> Yes, I have at the hotel. I can prove everything. >> Where is your driver's license out of? >> It's out of Florida. Was out of Chicago originally, but out of Florida now. >> So, Chicago. >> I moved from Chicago to Florida. >> Chicago and Florida. The restaurant manager wanted the suspect to be trespassed. However, since he had provided a fake name, that wasn't possible yet. The officers informed the bartender about the issue. >> The name he's giving us is a fake name. >> That's what I thought. >> All right. So, with that said, we can't issue a trespass under a fake name cuz what's to say that somebody else with that actual name comes in, >> right? >> See the problem? >> I believe he used a fake credit card when he gave me your >> I I would imagine. Did you say $17,000 he paid on somebody else's credit card and he paid somebody else's credit card for $17,000? >> He was in here. The lady he was in with at the bar. >> Oh wow. Okay. >> So he's just running around here. >> This might be a bigger scheme than what we're looking at. >> Yeah, probably. >> Um so yeah, so we will not be able to issue a trespass until we get his actual name. >> Oh, that's totally fair. >> All right, but he's going to jail for charges. >> Yeah, I see him now. >> The officers suspected the man was refusing to give his real name because he had warrants. They believed he was dealing with bigger legal problems. And another incident he had been involved in only reinforced those suspicions. >> Some lady, some random girl he came in. He paid off her credit card. He was with the lady. >> That really sucks cuz she's not going to know she has a credit card. >> Paid off her credit card. >> Yeah. He was sitting at the bar and he took he was on the phone with her credit card on speaker fund like trying to make a big deal about it like with the bartender and he left her like 125 bucks on $95 tip on an MX and he paid off her credit card on set with $17,000 on it with the same >> Oh wow. Okay. >> The suspect's full identity was later confirmed. He was taken to county jail and charged with petty theft and resisting an officer without violence. His bond was set at $1,000 which he later posted. He entered a no contest plea to both charges and was adjudicated guilty. He was ordered to pay a total of $5136 in court costs and restitution for the unpaid restaurant bill. On April 1st, 2025, police received a call from the local Q Pub and Grill. According to the restaurant management, a male customer had refused to pay his tab, causing a disturbance in the establishment. When the officers arrived, the suspect started a heated argument with them. >> I can't pay the bill. What happens? >> See, we're yelling again. For what? >> Who's taking me to jail for not paying a bill? >> It's called theft of services. >> For what reason? >> Because you they served you and now you're stealing. >> I give a card, right? >> I don't. >> They took my They they took my card, right? >> Why you asking me to ask them, mother? >> Hey, you know what? Out of my city. >> Okay. Hey, hey, hey. They want to press >> out of eye safety. >> You guys are all >> Yeah, I have two cards that are still cards. >> And they both fine. >> Yes. >> I need your app. >> I need your pay the bill. >> Tell me your password you >> not pay me. Go ahead. >> Pay the bill. So pay the bill >> and I try. Okay. >> So yeah, turn the phone off and pay the bill. Turn the phone off. mother. >> Excuse me. >> I am going to kill Are you going to pay the bill? Are you going to jail? >> The suspect was acting entitled and belligerent. Instead of complying with the officers, he started arguing with them. Like many other entitled offenders, he accused the police of violating his rights. >> I need your name and your badge number >> and tell ME I CAN'T WALK OUT right now. Give me that much. What's your badge number? >> Yeah. Okay. >> I need your name and badge number. >> It'll be on the report. >> No, I need it now. >> What's your badge number? It's my legal advice. >> Yeah. >> So, you going to fight me over? Oh, >> are you going to pay or you GOING TO >> I TRIED TO PAY? >> SO, let's pay one more time. Let's try. >> You have my card. Run again. Let me do it. But you dain for what? Because you haven't paid for the bill. >> I tried that, but you didn't. It didn't go through. So, you >> didn't go through. What happens? I need your back. It doesn't go through. >> You'll be arrested cuz they want you arrested. It's as simple as that. >> Which they do. >> Okay. For not payment, >> correct? >> Yes. But that get my wallet. I have multiple cars. >> What you got going on? >> What's your badge number? >> Tell me your BADGE NUMBER. >> WHAT YOU GOT going on that you can't pay? >> What the I got to tell you, Matt. I got a car. >> Well, you got to tell me cuz I'm at THE RESCUE. >> I NEED YOUR NUMBER AND BADGE NUMBER. >> The suspect used harsh and offensive language toward the officers. It was obvious that his behavior was fueled by alcohol intoxication. However, when the officers confronted him about being drunk, the aggressive customer became even more irritated. >> Yeah, I'm not drunk, buddy. I come here all the time. >> Yeah, you're acting belligerent, though. So, >> you man. >> Yeah. Okay. >> I'm your regular and I >> You know what I say? I don't pay, man. I come here. I look out for >> Let me ask you. Let me ask you. I need your badge sober. >> How about this? When you're sober, >> I need your badge sober in your name. >> Bad snowboard name. >> Bad snowboard name. >> Soon, the officers found out how much the suspect owed. At that point, he still had a chance to leave the restaurant without handcuffs. He still had time to turn things around in his favor, but it was running out fast. >> You owe 25 bucks. >> Can you pay or not? >> Can you pay or not? >> My card. >> They just ran both of your cards. They got >> All right, turn around. Turn around. >> Turn around. Turn around. 20. If I have 25 bucks, I think you have 25 bucks. Would you touch me then? >> I will touch you if I have to rescue you. So, you have the money or no? >> So, I got 25 bucks. >> Can I REACH YOU IN MY POCKET? >> SHOW ME THE MONEY. >> GIVE ME YOUR BEST NUMBER. >> SHOW ME the money. >> Hold on. Reach my pocket. Turn around. Reach my pocket. >> I got the money. >> I got the money. Show me the money. >> Can I reach my pocket? >> Are you going to keep talking? Show me the money then. Cuz you're going to jail. Why? Show me. >> $25. >> Show it. >> My boy. >> Show me the money. >> If I don't show you with your badge or you arrest me, take me to jail. I was shooting. >> Are you paying or not? >> Yeah, I will pay. >> 25 bucks. >> Yeah. >> And then you're going to be trespassing here. You're not allowed back. [music] >> Despite claiming he would pay, the suspect made no effort to do so. The officers gave him one more chance and asked again if he was going to settle the bill. His response became the turning point for what followed next. >> Okay. >> $25. >> Pull the money out. And you're not you're not getting arrested right now, but you are also you are also >> for $25. >> Yes. >> So I'm getting arrested >> because I cannot pay. >> All right, we're done. We're done. Turn >> on. Turn on. >> Ridiculous. >> I I in my pocket. >> Yeah, my pocket. >> Well, you wouldn't give it to us. >> You will give it I give it to them. >> I appreciate my hand. >> I want your I want your names and badges. >> It'll be on my >> I want it now. You'll be on the floor. >> Hey, grab my car. Grab my car behind you. >> Grab my car. >> Hey, are your body cams up? >> Where are they? I want to see them red lights. Little man. Tell you what, you man. >> Yeah. >> You don't give a call. >> I call you free speech and you're broke. Yeah. You >> I got 25 bucks. Where's my blood? Where's my phone? >> After placing the hostile suspect in the patrol car, the officers needed to identify him. But that didn't turn out to be easy either. When asked for ID, he remained uncooperative and refused. >> Turn over. >> I need your wallet. >> No, you don't. >> I do. I need your ID. I might give me >> I got 20 bucks for my pay for it. [snorts] >> Oh, I do tell my money, man. >> No, no, don't give my wife what? >> Don't take my money and not show my I'm going to over $25. I got the cash in my pocket. You want me to add a >> Can I pay the fine if we go? Do you want me to add a charge? >> Can I just pay the fine? Hey, listen. Listen. >> You want me to add a child? >> Do you want me to add you asked me to pay you INSIDE THE RESTAURANT? >> SHUT UP. SHUT UP. IN THE RESTAURANT, YOU SAID you're going to shoot me and then just now you then you say you're going to up. Do you want me to add a charge? >> Do you? Then stop talking. >> I paid $25. Okay. Okay. >> Considering his behavior, being placed in the back of the patrol car was welld deserved. However, once inside, the suspect didn't calm down. He kept demanding the officer's badge numbers and names and even threatened them with a lawsuit. >> I'm going to you up, man. You work for me, mother. What's your badge number? What's your name? You won't give it to me. I'm assuming this I recorded that could be fake. It's your badge number, bro. I'm the wrong mother. Okay, bro. Oh, I demand it. So, what's your badge number? What's your badge number? What's your badge number? This is recording. What's your badge number? What's your badge number? Say it again. You stupid mother. Oh, you're smiling, right? You power. I'm going to rap you in court. I am. I got court tomorrow. You should save me 80 on Uber. Oh, yeah. I do. >> Oh, yeah. Your wife. How's that? your sister. How's that? Yep. Hope you have a sad. I hope you do, man. She's like 13. Now, what you going to say, bro? >> Nothing, bro. >> I say nothing, right? You can't hear me. What's your badge number? What's your badge number? What's your name? What's your last name? Officer. Oh, it's on the report, right? I'm going to get it, right? You have no idea who the I am, bro. I got you, bro. You save me a $9 Uber trip for tomorrow, man. What's your badge number, man? I demand your badge number. >> At the end of the day, the iate suspect was taken to jail. There, he was charged with theft of services and disorderly conduct. On February 2nd, 2023, police officers responded to a call at a local boutique in Roswell, Georgia, because a customer had harassed employees and other customers. When the cops entered the store, they found the suspect arguing with the staff. >> Hey boss, let's go outside. >> Cherokee, do you want a picture to send? >> Hey, let's go outside. >> We're talking about father I go outside. Either you can step outside. >> You know I look like >> I don't know. >> Go outside and Austin. >> Okay, you can go outside or I can escort you outside. Let's go outside. Thank you very much. >> Always so >> I don't know. It's just the world these days. >> We'll be back for the model. >> I think I will. >> This Cherokee, >> what's up, bro? >> Hey, boss. >> They don't want you here. Can't shake hands. Come here, man. >> How you doing, sir? >> I'm good. How are you? What's going on in here? That was a bad fist pump. Let's try again. Good. >> We were thinking about modeling for the store. They asked us to try some stuff on. So, we tried some stuff on and then she was going to take a picture and send it to the owner. >> Okay. >> Are you here with somebody or was it just you by >> Well, I'm here with us. >> The officers [music] explained to the suspect that the store staff wanted him trespassed. The man, on the other hand, insisted on knowing which employee had called the police. He suggested it might have been a fake call. And when the officers asked for his name, he refused to provide it. >> Sir, what's your first name? >> It's just for documentation. and they want you trespassing. >> Yeah. Well, I'm not comfortable giving that because we're in the middle of a business negotiation. >> So, I get that you were doing business with them. They want you they wanted want you trespass from the store and >> that doesn't make sense. >> It's completely contradictory to the ladies asking me to try clothes on and then model for a picture, which is what they just did, and they were going to send it to the owner to see if we could do something about it. >> I got you. The suspect tried to push his version of events on the officers, but they knew that wasn't an accurate story. Soon they spoke with the staff and learned that the man had actually been harassing them and their customers. >> I know you already told them, but can you kind of just tell me like what happened? >> So I was outside. I was outside and he started talking to me. Started asking me like >> asking [music] me what native like thing I don't know. It was weird. He was like, "Are you like Cherokee or like naming different like things?" I was like, "Yeah, I'm Jerie. Whatever." Then he put up like comes up really close to me, puts the dress up to my body and was like, "This would look good on you." I'm like, "That's not my style." He was like, "Oh, like sorry. Like I'm trying to und like dress you or undress you." I was like, >> I go back inside. He ends up coming in. He was just kind of following like everyone around like just making [music] everyone super uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure he's drunk. >> I don't think he's drunk. Might be drunk or something. >> Yeah, some something's going on. I don't know. Did he like make you guys concerned for your safety or anything like that? And is it just y'all three working? >> And one a fourth upstairs. >> Did he actually touch you guys or? >> He was just very close. He was in a dressing room speaking to other women who were changing in another dressing room next to him making them uncomfortable. They ended up leaving even though they were like trying clothes on. Um then he ended up coming out of the dressing room with so [music] he had two of our like cover up things, no shirt on and he was just walking around like not I guess not shirtless cuz he had like a kimono on and I was like um we actually prefer >> ladies and he was like what do you think like whatever. Yeah. He kept also bunking into everything. >> It appeared the suspect hadn't come to the [music] boutique just for business. He had clearly been behaving inappropriately overstepping quite a few boundaries. One of the employees described his other inappropriate move. >> Oh yeah. At one point in time, he was like, "So, where do I put my bed in here?" I was like, "You can put it right outside the door." Cuz at this point, I was getting. And he was like, "Oh, no. Like, I want to stay in here or whatever." I was like, "Well, there's also a dumpster out back you can go to." I was really not at this point. >> Don't like [laughter] Anyways, um then he was like, "Oh, like something like I was hoping you'd like invite me in your TV or something." >> Like basically just making everyone like very uncomfortable. Meanwhile, the suspect insisted on his story that the store had asked him to model their products. The officer responded that the employees hadn't confirmed that version, but instead described harassment. That angered the suspect. >> I guess that you'd have to take it up with the owner if you're having an issue with the employee, >> which I have to try on the clothes for them to take a picture. Well, >> they don't want you in the store right now. >> They just asked me to do it. Then you guys showed up and interrupted. So if you're making them uncomfortable, which is what you're doing, >> so I I believe that at least my understanding of the events is that >> Oh, I was making them uncomfortable >> by trying on the clothes they asked me to try on. >> Then why did they call? >> Who the [ __ ] called you? You can't even give me a name. It was out of their sake of privacy. I'm not going to give a name if they want to give a name. >> No, you're full of [ __ ] is what that tells me. >> Okay. >> If some anonymous person called you, >> it was someone from the store. I mean, >> no, it wasn't. It was >> unless you can give me a name of one of the ladies that was in there. >> It doesn't really matter who called cuz I spoke with the matter because if there is >> the supervisor once you trespass >> then who is the supervisor? >> One of the >> because I asked for the manager and she wasn't available. >> So you're lying. >> So it was a supervisor. It's not the manager. It's one of the shifts. There's no manager here currently. >> Exactly. >> But they still can't. >> So how would a shift manager call you that's not present to know about my being here >> to model? We're just Hey, boss. >> The suspect walked off. As there were no charges yet, the officer spoke with the store staff who wanted to press charges for simple assault. Soon, the cops caught up with the suspect at a nearby restaurant, only to discover he had committed another crime. >> What's up, man? >> How you doing, man? >> Why you following me? >> So, here's the thing, boss. So, here's the thing. Uh, someone is claiming >> we're going to detain you. >> What happened over there? >> We'll tell you. We're going to tell you >> anything. >> We'll be back. >> Cool. >> Is this your stuff right here in there? >> Well, no. Not if you're going to touch it. >> Here it hasn't paid. So, >> and we'll be back. Thank you. said he died. >> Yeah, >> I was going to walk around and join you. >> I got I'm double lock first. >> The suspect had a talent for making enemies everywhere. If at the clothing store, he had only behaved inappropriately. At the restaurant, he had committed a more serious offense of not paying for his food. One of the restaurant employees clued the officer in on what happened there. >> 80 bucks worth of stuff. >> Yeah. >> Is this his bag? >> Yeah. outside. >> That gets just >> So yeah, he's been causing trouble at some other places. You guys want >> Yeah. >> I mean, just now dispirited. >> Okay. >> You guys want to press charges for the theft of services? >> I mean, I just want to pay for it back. >> I don't think he's going to be able to pay for it, honestly. >> Is there any way we can Okay, so he doesn't have any money. >> I mean, so I can't go through his bag and stuff. Okay. >> Um, and even if we did find money in there, we could just, you know, we can take care of it. I mean, if basically I'd get you to write a statement for me saying, you know, this gentleman came here, bought >> $80 worth of food, >> let me get the margaritas and have a beer for like an hour. >> Okay. Well, he he only made it to the >> I was like, "Hey, you come back." He's like, "Yeah, my stuff's here." So, I was like, "Okay." And then I've been out here kind of hanging out, seeing what's going on, >> right? We'll we'll come we'll come back and get with you um once we get him situated. But all right. The man had already caused trouble in two places in one day, yet still refused to admit any wrongdoing. By then, the officers understood what kind of person they were dealing with. They took him to the patrol car and didn't waste any more time. >> I put you in for right now. Right now, you're not under arrest, but when you are >> Yeah. Right. When you are under arrest, I'll let you know. Okay. >> I'm just making sure your head doesn't hit the top of the stick. You're very considerate. >> Watch your head. Watch. There we go. I bet with you, man. >> I'll talk to Spirit before anything happens. >> That exactly what I'll do. >> Hey, sir. >> While they work out what's happening over here at Ceviche, do you have money to pay for that? I think it's 80 bucks. >> I'll handle ceviche as soon as you guys let me loose. >> I Oh, I'm going to go talk to them. >> All right, go talk. >> You have money to pay for it. >> It's paid for? Yeah. >> Well, they said it's not paid for. >> I'm asking if you have money to pay for it. It's 80 bucks worth of stuff. All right, cool. It's paid for. >> It's not paid for yet. >> All right. >> According to them, I'm asking if you have money. >> Yeah, it's coming. >> After a long back and forth, the suspect identified himself [music] as Nick Lucier. Once placed in the patrol car, he realized he wouldn't be able to avoid jail and then came up with an excuse for the dine and dash at the restaurant. What's up, man? >> Yeah. The ladies at the table next to you sit there and take care of that. >> Oh, really? Okay. Cuz what? >> That's why I wasn't sweating at all. >> Okay. >> And then I went to find the veteran who was in a wheelchair because he was asking for food alias. >> Gotcha. [music] >> So I went to give him my leftovers. >> Okay. >> Didn't find them. Found Spirited. Came in here and you know the rest. I offered services to contract. >> Okay. If you want to talk to me, I have to read your your rights. Okay. So do you want me to read your rights? >> Miranda would be good, but then we can't talk anymore. You know what I'm saying? Right now we're talking. >> I know. And I can get in trouble for not reading your rights after your, you know, >> cuffs and everything. >> You already heard me. >> Okay, sounds good. I appreciate your honesty. Okay. >> The suspect was transported to jail and placed in a cell. Soon it turned out that the name Nick Lucier he had provided was false. After yet another lie, the officer explained the situation and what consequences he was facing. >> All right, dude. >> So, here's the deal. So the question is not whether or not you're going to jail. It's how long you sit there and wait. >> Charge already got charged on it. You're already going to jail. So either we can take you down there and we can book you in the name of John and you'll sit in jail until they can positively identify you or if you just give us your name and date of birth and we can positively identify you. It'll be much quicker. >> Swiss Embassy. >> Swiss Embassy. Is that your legal name? >> Swiss Embassy. Are you sir? You're saying that you're a citizen of Switzerland? >> Swiss embassy. >> I'm trying to save you time, too, dude. >> Swiss Embassy. >> Okay. >> The suspect was transported to Fulton County Jail where he refused to speak and was evaluated for selective mutism. He was later taken to a local hospital where doctors medically cleared him. After being brought back to jail, he was eventually charged with theft of services, giving a false name, and obstruction. On November 10th, 2025, the police received a call from a Hilton hotel. A woman was reportedly refusing to pay her bill after dining. Upon arrival, the officers found the suspect, Simona, sitting calmly at the hotel bar. >> Simona, >> I'm sitting I'm just enjoying myself. I don't want to go. I'm I'm okay. I have a little bit of What if I was trying to get this gentleman to go home and sleep with me? Would that be okay? >> Well, we need you to pay the bill right now. >> Okay, I'll pay the bill when I'm ready. >> Well, you're not eating. Like they said, they're closing. >> You know what is the plan for tonight? You'd like it to take me to jail, prison, or to have >> I don't I don't want to. I want you I want you to pay for your bill so we can go about >> You're not going to get me used to that life. I've I've suffered enough. >> Ma'am, we're trying to turn a civil matter into now being a criminal matter. So, I'll just ask you, do you have means of being there? >> Because as of this point, it looks like >> that's none of your business. >> No, it kind of is our business. >> No, until they quote. No, it's not. It's not. And I'm not interested. >> Can we call somebody who can pay for your bill, ma'am? >> Yeah. >> Thank you. >> Give them a call. >> The officers tried to be understanding and not pressure her. However, she was acting belligerent and somewhat entitled. Soon, she attempted to give an excuse, shifting the responsibility onto her friend. So, I have a question. What would you do if you were me in a situation where you went to dinner, your friend said you would provide her credit card over the phone and they're not doing so? >> Wouldn't you take down the friend's information? >> The friend never showed up. You're the one that done here. >> I came to dinner. I had dinner. She said she was going to pay for my dinner. >> She just sounds like a really bad friend. But >> okay, so it's a really bad friend. So, if I give you her address and phone number, can you go talk to her? >> No, ma'am. That's not the way it works. For right now, you can figure your friend situation out afterwards. >> Right now, I need you to pay for your bill so we can move along. >> We have a busy night tonight. I just want to get get my Louis Vuitton or do you need my Versace? Take the Versace. >> No, I just need a form of payment so we can get this bill. >> I I mean a form of payment. You want a gift certificate? You want a coin? A couple of coins. That'll mine. >> Do you have a credit card or a debit card? >> I actually don't because it was stolen. >> Okay. Do you have cash? I have $10. >> She said that beside the $5, she also had a Mexican coin. The officer advised her to call someone to pay her bill. That seemed to help because just seconds later, she made a phone call. >> Danny, can you do me a favor and give me your credit card number and pay my bill, please? So I can sleep not at jail tonight. I'm not in the mood at um the Hilton. Sure. I don't care about the hotel. It's a one in Milwaukee. It's not fun. It's not fun at all. >> It's not fun. >> Can you please pay my bill? Okay. I am not spending the night in jail again. I If you want to send one of your friends to spend the night in the car with me, they can do that. I'm not spending the night in jail again. It's an off. We're not doing one day on, one day off. Instead of your Danny, pay my bill. that Dany either didn't exist or he simply didn't want to [music] grant her favors because after hanging up, Simona made another desperate and quite awkward move. She turned to a random customer asking him to pay her bill. >> Sir, >> ma'am, he doesn't want to let him enjoy his food. >> Talking to I'm not talking to you. >> Okay. Well, he doesn't want to talk to you either. Let him enjoy his food. >> He certainly did when he walked over to my table. >> Well, not anymore. >> Okay. So, can you pay my bill and I'll pay you back? >> No, ma'am. That's not the way it works. >> You need to figure the situation. >> You're a police officer, >> ma'am. >> And >> do you have a way to pay [music] for it? >> What would you like? Do you want my wallet? Take the wallet. >> No, they want a form of payment. Do you have >> I don't have a form of payment. You want my >> You don't have a form of payment? Is that what it's going to be? >> No, but So, okay. So, I have a question. By law, what would you do right now if your friend promised to pay your bill and take you out for your birthday over the phone and they were not able to do so? >> We're talking about right now. Okay. >> Okay. You dine somewhere, you need to pay a bill. >> If you can't pay the bill, then you will be arrested. Okay. I I don't want that. >> Why would I be arrested? >> After being 5 hours later, >> this is theft. [music] >> It's not theft because I Okay, here. >> Call I I can give you a number of my father. >> Simona kept shifting responsibility for the bill onto anyone but herself. After mentioning a friend and trying to involve a random customer, she then brought up her father. One of the officers explained why they weren't going to accept her excuses. >> That's because your friend invited me here for dinner. Right. >> But she didn't show up, >> right? >> Yet you still ordered food and drink, >> right? And she said she would cover it over the phone >> as a gift to me. >> No, because that would be your personal responsibility at that point. You can't just trust. >> What am I supposed to do >> in that situation by law? So I >> Well, it's not it's not a law thing. It's a personal responsibility thing. However, at this point, it was what if I give you and provide you with an address and credit card information where my father lives and my mailing address and there you can get all of my information. You're >> not a credit. >> I am not right and I but I am also not a thief. >> So, what does one do in this situation? So, I can give you a number to where my family lives, my building address, my mailing address. Well, and where you can go. >> We will give you every opportunity to try to contact someone. >> I am not going to sit in jail tonight. >> It's not healthy. >> The officers grew tired of Simona's excuses. [music] They told her clearly that she had only two options. Pay the bill or go to jail. Then she dialed another number, hoping someone would cover her tab. This time, she handed the phone to the officer. >> I'm Pros Texas Police Department. I'm with Simona here. Um, she she needs to pay a bill and she stated that you're able to provide means to pay for her $66 bill. We're dealing with a criminal matter. All right. He's not paying for your bill. You want to call someone else? >> Would you like to pay it? >> No, I would not like to pay your bill. >> Why? >> Ma'am, keep calling. Stop talking to me and keep calling. >> I've been patient with you for way too long. >> The officers warned her several times that it was her last chance. Despite that, she continued to argue that she didn't have to pay. Moments later, the officers ran out of patience. >> You want to look up the law with me? >> No, I don't. I want >> I'm not in law school. >> Okay. I want to figure out a way for you to pay for your bill. That's what I want to do. >> I have to use the bathroom. >> We're not doing that [snorts] anymore. >> No, I have to pee. >> We're not doing that. You can pee at the jail if you can't pay right now. >> I'm not going to jail again. It's stuff. You're not going to get me used to that. You're not I cannot. >> I've never met you before. Okay, tell me the as you're you're in law enforcement, right? >> So, what is the law when somebody is promised to be taken out to dinner? >> Yeah. One last chance >> and have that paid I don't have a jail. >> Okay. >> Have that paid for. One last chance for what? I don't know who I'm going to call. Don't do that. >> Get up on your back. Get up. Let's go. >> Okay. Hang on. >> Uhuh. We're not going to resist. We're not going to add more charges. Okay. >> No, that's fine. I'm going to lock them so they can tighten up on you. Okay. This is all your stuff, ma'am. I'll put it in your purse. >> Simona was taken to jail. She was charged with theft and was issued a trespass warning prohibiting her from returning to the Hilton. On August 11th, 2025, police responded to a call regarding a group of people who had left a restaurant without paying. The officers were dispatched, and they soon caught up with the suspect's car. >> 42, can you run 827 828 for me, please? >> Hey, mama, can you pull out the back window as well? I just got to be able to see who's in the car. You guys house? >> No. >> No. Okay. They saying you did. So before I have to get them all overhead confirmed and I see we got the baby in the car and all that. Just tell me what happened in your words. >> They I took my baby out. >> Okay. >> I guess they thought I was sweet cuz they see jewelry and all this. They just tried to put a $300 something dollar bill on me. It was only me and my son that ate. >> Okay. >> So I go there all the time like familiar. I know how much it is when we pay. >> They tried to put a whole $300 bill on me and I won't pay for it. >> I told them I did. try to talk to them before then with the other two people that >> I did, but that's what it was. It was really the other people that just walked out. It was a man and a lady. They was with each other >> and they probably got that record that we were >> together recorded that too. I hope they got some type of footage that >> it was clear the woman in the car did not agree with the bill she had been given. Aside from claiming that they were not with the other group who dined and dashed, she claimed that the group she was with hadn't consumed anything at the restaurant. Then she told the officers that she had already paid. >> I gave them $100. They had nothing to do with them. >> You did pay though. >> Yeah. The other people they left. >> Okay. >> You got your ID? >> Who? Me? >> Yeah. [snorts] >> Who was on there? Just you and the baby. Baby. >> Yeah, the baby. >> I see the I see the baby in the back. Yeah. celebrate. >> This car res. >> All right. So, >> bring pills. >> Just hear me out. They just described you as being >> I did come in there, but that's I I'mma come in there get I'mma come in there help mad for sure, but I ain't nobody. So, it's two different prices I have here cuz he separated amongst people. He's being fair. >> Okay. But he gave me two prices. He said it was two people. I didn't find you both. So, let me finish. I don't know what's going on with nobody else. I going to do one thing at a time. Right. >> 56.94 is what he said that you own. Mr. Sto 56.94 >> and 19578 for you. >> Not on my grandma. What we going to do? Y'all think y'all going to lock me up for 195? cuz that's that that's what the do on my kids I'm not >> that's that's the only other option I'm not gonna DO THAT Y'ALL DON'T [ __ ] OUT >> if you want me to speak let me speak >> when put under pressure the suspects became easily irritated they started yelling at the officers and arguing with them police however didn't allow them to become too aggressive and address them in a firm tone >> here's the only op they said you guys can pay back what the bill is >> and or in the 56.90. Okay. >> Let me tell you something. >> Otherwise, they want to sign complaints and have you guys brought in for that. Yes, that's the options right now. >> Who was y'all? >> Both of you not going nowhere. Y'all white shirt, whatever. >> The white shirts who I just spoke with and told me >> tell them to come right here. >> It ain't going to make a difference. And listen, let me let me explain something. Okay. to make me pay for two people that I will give the money. We looked at the bill. He looked at the bill. It's like what's all this? You came back another separate meal when all of this is not ours. This is where we at what they say. Do this is what I'm saying to you. It's your baby birthday. Why would we want to steal food? >> And I'm not trying to do it in front of the kids. So, can you please bring it down? I ain't got it. >> Bring it. Bring it down. I ain't doing [ __ ] cuz now y'all telling me I'm going to get locked up if somebody help you came back with pay for no. >> The suspects in the car were getting too loud. They blamed the restaurant staff for lying and making them pay for the bill of the other couple. The officers tried to speak over the woman while still maintaining a conversation, but it only added to the tension. >> I'm not trying to you over cuz that 15,000 turned to 2,000 real quick. >> Listen to me. I'm not talking to your baby. >> And please tell your sister calm down cuz I'm not trying. You get what I'm saying? >> I'm not going to calm down. >> I'm not trying to make this situation stick no bill on me. >> I'm trying not. She can't drive either. >> Do you hear what I'm saying to you right now? Please just keep it keep it here cuz my sergeant on his way and I don't want him to take it to another level especially with all we can do. Do you understand what I'm saying? You understand what I'm saying? >> Yes. We understand about the bill. >> Cash got the cash out. I get it about the principal. >> We'll pay. But the other that's not that's not right. That's not fair. That's like y'all finessing and y'all getting down. Now when y'all take it out, why is y'all bringing another bill? That's not it. >> So I'm telling you how it can go, right? >> And I'm trying to be decent, but is coming to get the payment. >> He's on his way over here for sure just to confirm. But if y'all can do the payment, that'll be great. The officers paused the heated exchange with the suspects. They contacted the restaurant staff to hear their version and verify the various claims that have been made so far. After that, they relayed the information back to the woman in the car. >> So, at this point, they just want payment. >> And at this point, I got 150. >> They need the full payment. And mom, I'm going to be quite frankly honest with you. They're looking at >> bringing you in. >> But I don't give a >> But I do cuz you got these kids in the car. Come on.
