A simple parking lot crash turned into a hit-and-run investigation. On July 22nd, 2024, officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run outside of a Total Wine store. Witnesses said two women struck another car and tried to walk away without taking responsibility. When police arrived, the suspects denied everything, claiming the vehicle wasn't theirs. But surveillance cameras and eyewitnesses quickly confirmed the truth. As officers moved in, one woman resisted arrest, pulling away and refusing to comply. Moments later, she was taken into custody, charged with resisting arrest and leaving the scene of a crash. What started as a minor accident ended with handcuffs in the parking lot.
