On April 21st, 2024, the National Guard called police after a shirtless man confronted them with a handgun. He was angry about soldiers running near his home at 5:00 a.m., claiming the noise disturbed him. When officers arrived, they made contact with the suspect, Derek. He admitted coming outside with a pistol, but denied threatening anyone. Witnesses, however, said he pointed the gun at chest level while shouting.
